Nice work! The music sounded great and the art looked awesome. I liked the idea but too often I was able to solve the puzzle by just dying repeatedly.

Couldn't really pass of the first screen, game is too fast (too furios...)

kbf123 2018-12-03 03:44

Really cool idea! Certainly not bad for a first timer.

Interesting concept, it was a little confusing at first. I liked the art-style quite a bit, and the gameplay made great use of the theme! Nice work.

Very neat concept. It runs a bit too 'fast' for me making movement tricky. nice though!

I'm stuck at level 4, but man. What awesome graphics, music & gameplay. Love the ghouls n ghosts vibe of it and the take on the theme. Congrats on the entry!

Great game but the sound seemed a little... off I don't know quite how to put it. It sounded ohmost like it was stuttering. If this was intentional then thats fine but it grinded on my senses a little to much.

Nice game, really tough, great concept!

Cool concept with interesting mechanics, the music and the art is very nice.

Great game! The graphics are nicely presented and the core game mechanic works really well. Great to see a TIC-80 submission too! Well done!

Such an amazing concept! Gorgeous graphics too! Well done!

Very Creative, Solid concept

wow, this was inspiring lol great work. There were a few puzzles my big dumb brain couldnt sort out but I had a lot of fun trying to get through them.

cloud-huai 2018-12-07 05:10

Really a innovation on the theme! After many try finally realizing that I need to going backwards to fill the river up...

antti-tiihonen 2018-12-07 05:42

The presentation was spot on, including the spooky music, but controlling the game was a bit fiddly. Gameplay with controlling multiple characters hasn't ever really clicked with me though.

fattori 2018-12-07 05:43

nice puzzles, great graphics, i like it! it´s impressive you´ve done all that by yourself

rsim 2018-12-07 05:59

This was an excellent take on the theme - well done! The puzzles were very tricky, but played well to my OCD and the "just one more try!" aspect was stellar, which is super hard to achieve in a LD. Not my type of game, but definitely great for those who do want a brain twister; I'd encourage you to pursue this as a post-jam game!

goplite 2018-12-07 06:18

Solid game, good puzzle. The only problem for me is when I jump left at the left edge of screen, I switch to previous level, which is really annoying, I don't switch levels when I walk into edge, so I assume this is a bug?

naihto 2018-12-07 06:31

I like the game's take on puzzle platforming with using dead bodies. By moving having to move your living corpses it created a new form of puzzle which was great. It was albeit difficult to control at times since you have to time it and move precisely or you might just screw up the puzzle entirely. Great to see a game being used on TIC-80 too.

beats 2018-12-07 07:31

Interesting concept

cqcumbers 2018-12-07 13:42

@goplite most times you don’t switch levels when walking left because there is a block in the way on the previous screen. I initially made things that way to try to make the game doable backwards for an extra challenge, but never really got around to playtesting it.

gwinnell 2018-12-19 15:18

Love the mechanics. I think it could have been easier in the beginning though.

The game appeared to crash on level 3. :frowning2:

`Uncaught SimulateInfiniteLoop`

`Uncaught abort("Cannot enlarge memory arrays. Either (1) compile with -s TOTAL_MEMORY=X with X higher than the current value 67108864, (2) compile with -s ALLOW_MEMORY_GROWTH=1 which allows increasing the size at runtime but prevents some optimizations, (3) set Module.TOTAL_MEMORY to a higher value before the program runs, or (4) if you want malloc to return NULL (0) instead of this abort, compile with -s ABORTING_MALLOC=0 "). Build with -s ASSERTIONS=1 for more info.`
