I agree with last coment. Game is REALLY interesting. I don't think the tutorials are clear enough tho. Also, the text on yout itch.io page is too bright on an already bright color page, so its kinda hard to read. I'll make sure to play it again latter. Congrats on the game, you made something awesome!
P.S: SFX scared the crap out of me at the end.
Nice game, remind me of asteroid
As I said to you, awesome game! Best game I played so far, would recomend to everyone to try it
Didn't really know how to pass from the first level which is sad, cause I really liked the screens...
Really cool, will give it to my niece to play. (:
Looks cool, looking foward to it
Really cool, but the aim is kinda awkward
LMAO when the burger gets him and on the intro comic hahahahaha
good job mate (:
The audio kills me hahahahaha
Also LMAO when I tried to move the lava ball. Instant game over
It's kinda hard to balance the bars, the gods rage fills too fast. Also would be nice to have a sound feedback after we get a "hit" the first 3 times I lost the game I was like "wtf"
Pretty cool concept though, would love to play again after some balance (:
@erendelous I actually was aware of the HP on the top right of the screen!
But sometimes the people happines got to low withouth I noticing it and since I wasn't payng atention to the HP "bar" I didn't know I received a "hit".
Nice game, but I think the sprites could be a little more animated. Like the title screen, I had trouble fiding where to click to start the game and the "buttons" that trigger objects doesn't look like buttons, specially because dey don't move when you pass above them. Controls are a little bit clunky too. That said, great game and awesome pixel art!
Also, really dig the intro
Nice game, had fun playing this hahaha
Some feedback: - The traps kinda blends with the enviroment, so its hard to see. Try to make it a little more visible. - The enemies hit box looks a little too big - Don't think the music really fits the atmosphere (this is pretty subjective tho)
Good job!
Controls are a bit weird (change weapon on space), but it's pretty cool
Awesome game, just a little bit easy. Make the character slower when it holds too much penguins and it is a 10/10
Awesome level design! Cool mechanics! Porbably the best game I played so far in this jam, congratulations!
edit-
OMG, you're the guy from Super Dangerous Dungeon! Just realized now, no wonder why this game is so awesome! Greetings man, love your game! (:
rally cool concept! I guess the game bugged on me tho... After a while enemies stoped spawning.
Also, would be cool to have a ingame tutorial, even if it was only a text box. For some time a didn't know i could actually move the character, because I was too focused on awnsering the questions.
Funny game hahahha
Would be neat if bir cockies would let you heavier and slower!
Art is awesome, music is really cool, controls are great, camera is kinda weird tho ):
Hope you guys enjoy it!
@nik2434 thankyou for the feedback! I will look into this bug.
Greetings @erendelous, thank you for playing my game and feedbak! :D
In the game you play as a farmer who needs to save his animals who got stuck into balloons and went flying. You may not be able to save them all since you have a weight limit on you own balloon, so maybe sacrifices must be made ;)
@malghoul Thanks, I used the nes pallet and 8 bits sounds, I love retro like games. (:
@twopm Thanks! I wanted to make a tutorial to the game but a choose not to put text-tutorials to keep the "retro" vibe to the game (learn by playing)
@tomcat94 Thank you for the feedback! I see you really undertood the felling I tryed to put in the game hahahaha The music was actually made from a procedural-music-generator, I just entered some random values and tweked some parameter and got this nice tune! I REALLY liked the idea about the "colored" platformer, will mostly certain to put it on the game on the next update. Thank you very much for taking your time for such detailed feedback! (:
@secretmapper, @maycon, @evilsock, @zircon123 and @deathbysnail Thanks for the feedback! <3
@tomcat94 Awesome, right? Check for Abundant Music on google!
I Just heard about this program during the jam too, easy to use and really useful for jams!
OMG, so much lovely feedbacks! <3 There's too many for me to be able to comment one by one right now, but thank you everyone for your kind words!
@d-studios Thank you for your feedback!
As for the tutorial, I don't like written tutorials, they really upset me! I prefer those games that teaches you with visual cues and level design. With that in mind I designed the game like the oldschool ones where most people (I believe) can learn the rules very quickly with 1 or 2 plays.
OMG! This is so funny. Really great art, really funny game hahaha. I guess this game would work as a good idle game, like coockie clicker
Pretty cool! I managed to beat the game. Would love to play some other levels tho
Couldn't really pass of the first screen, game is too fast (too furios...)
The art and the sounds are pretty funny and great. The font on the game makes it really hard to read the texts. After I completed the game I skipped the final screen because I was clicking furiously on the plants to keep them alive. ): Maybe you could make the final screen "unskipable" for at least 2~3 seconds so people won't skeep it unitentionally like me.
Awesome game, I'm not good at multi tasking but it's amazing how many parallels systems you guys pulled out during such a short time. The dialogs are funny and the mood is awesome. Congrats!
I loled pretty hard at the ending, what a plot twist hahaha.
The mechanic is great and it's indeed very similar to our entry so it was pretty cool to see an similar idea implemented in a diferent way.
The graphics are programmer art level, not much to coment here, they're simple but they get the job done. The level design is very great but some throws are pretty hard to pull out and this may be frustrating at times. Also it seemed that there were cases were the player didn't respond to the jump command when near a edge, wich led me to dying
Overall a very solid entry, made me wish there were more levels to play. Good job!
edit ---
Little heads up here. Was playing for a second time and I managed to get the purple thing stuck into a button leading to a soft lock.
Got a score of 93, if you do an "8" path you can outrun as the foot as much as you can withouth worrying too much. Nice concep, GL on the jam!
Very cool project, the perspective doesn't help tho. Personally I think the idea would benefit more using a normal 2D art style then a isometric view.
