i actually played through twice. super fun! i had a hard time with too much dry land and not much water until about half way through the deck.

Good job on the camera transitions. I'm guessing you didn't get to implement interactions, but good effort!
this is fun to click around on - just wish i could manipulate the camera to set the arc better. its a little hard to tell that you're being reset because of energy running out at first -- i might recommend changing the color of the energy bar when you're getting low.
i really like the flat colors in your design!
getting addicted to the bubble popping sound, so mission accomplished!! also, i loved "questionable drugs" (and in the game) lol
Legitimately brilliant. when asked for a beautiful place, i said "my butt" and was not disappointed.
cool game! i like how you made each spell relevant to the level, but I couldn't figure out what Send is for.
solid game loop here. for some constructive feedback - i just wish the sound effects were a bit less abrasive. if you were to use a more pleasant sound (like a pop or soft chime), you could get the player more dopamine from the pickups and increase the likelihood that they stay / come back for more. overall cool proof of concept!
love this concept, but the viewport is sized a bit strangely. if i go fullscreen, i cant see the the edges, but outside of fullscreen, I need to scroll in the browser to see the full level.
having a walk cycle for the main character would have gone a long way, but i really like the vibe of the level and game in general. there were some points where I couldnt pick up statues but didn't understand why. was I supposed to avoid them? some in game text explaining the goal might have helped too.
inverse katamari -- smart
I didn't get very far but it's a great take on Snake!!
@soyrandom thanks for pointing that out. i've fixed it along with a couple other bug fixes.
@zmvl before jumping over the violet monkey, did you beat up the other two monkeys or jump over them? I'm not able to reproduce this bug, so if you can provide any extra detail that would be awesome. I also wonder if different browsers might be rendering things slightly differently -- can you tell me what browser you're on?
@konomizure you're totally right, i'm playing with the speed of animations now and it does feel quite a bit better with just a slight bump to speed. that feels a little out of scope for a post-submission update though, but noted for when we develop this further.
@gonzo13 monkey surfing is a valid strategy
very cute! i love the retro text scroll sound effect, and the functional mirror was a nice touch. the ending cutscene was adorable. I just wish there'd been music.
there's something really appealing about exploring an interface like this, would love to see more!
all i have to say is LMFAO
really great concept for the theme; this is coming from a pinball enthusiast, but I would play a full commercial version of this game.
love the bullet hell sequences, the split attention concept is something i've been playing with too and really appreciate seeing this implementation. there were definitely some "wtf is going on" moments (especially around some of the trial-and-error challenges) - overall I thought it was pretty funny and i played it for a lot longer than i expected to.
Played until I made it to hell but it was just a black void, like in real life
Funny idea! It seems like sometimes I could interact with the air horn and other times not -- is it supposed to make a sound?
the yoda voice surprised and delighted me
Super fun! I just wish i could shoot the guys that got too close to me.
@kiln thanks for your bug report -- I believe I've resolved the game ending crash!
@firellon you caught me updating the build! it's fixed!
I love the blinking eye when you click. the gameplay twists my brain, nice work. thanks for showing the ending!
Fantastic premise and super fun to play. I lost some time to this one!
This game infuriated me, and it made me laugh a lot. Someone had to explain how to hatch the egg to me.
It reminds me of katamari, but flat. Flatamari.
this game has a dog smoking a cigarette, which i believe qualifies it as art
Almost quit after losing the first couple jumps but glad I stuck with it. Cute design!
really simple input mechanic belies some interesting details here. feels like a perfectly distilled version of the tactical team survival subgenre. i feel like being able to select the torch bearer with the number keys or something would feel more intuitive for me than having to move my hand to the mouse.
