Deep Fishing by SharpLoaded 2025-04-09T05:58:39Z ♥ 1

Really cool, simple idea well executed! Love the wave effects and the graphics were simple but felt comfy. Some calm music would really fit this game. One suggestion would be to increase the font size of the upgrade screen, it was difficult to read at my resolution.

Drop Into Hell by boboneoone 2025-04-09T05:36:12Z ♥ 1

The art style was fun, especially the parallax! Liked the intro. I think with another day or so of polish (more satisfying sword swinging, some audio, maybe an indicator of how fall you've fallen) this game could really shine.

Home is where hell is by Anderson Job Loeffler 2025-04-08T02:32:25Z ♥ 3

cute game with nice looking aesthetic and music! -L

Awakening by Celian 2025-04-08T02:31:33Z ♥ 3

I like how peaceful and simple this game is, while not being too simple. I still felt the challenge of figuring out how to get back to certain platforms-- I definitely fell indefinitely a couple times lol. I loved how as you collect colors the music and background change. Beautiful game, well done! -L

Granny's Gotcha by Joscco 2025-04-08T02:30:58Z ♥ 1

LOVE this game. The music and animation are adorable and really well done. The dialogue is very funny and made better when read aloud in your best granny voice. Next level button still shows up after you complete the last level and I wish you could hold the buttons to move the arm instead of having to spam click. Other than that, Granny's Gotcha is a charming and addicting game! -L

Shark Attack! by LittleW00D 2021-04-30T00:26:32Z ♥ 2

Very impressive for 14 hours! I really enjoyed the game's mechanic, it's simple to pick up but takes practice to get good at it, unforgiving as it is. There were many times when it spawned a bomb after it would have been possible to react to not hit it, maybe it can be improved by giving some warning when a boat is about to drop a bomb? Also, as other commenters noted I think the sound got old pretty quickly, but the simple graphics worked great for this type of arcade game experience.

Sunk Cost by bradur 2021-04-30T00:17:59Z ♥ 2

Such a neat game. I loved the movement and being able to jump a bit out of the water, although I do wish it was easier to aim the sub's weapon. Music and visuals were very pleasant and calming. Did any of the authors play Operation Neptune when they were younger? This game reminded me of it a bit.

Let's Go Deeper by Deozaan 2021-04-29T23:55:52Z ♥ 1

It's working here with M1 Macbook/Chrome. Good stuff! Even though it's simple I felt like it had a level of polish uncharacteristic for a game jam game (highscores and dat level transition.) Couple of points: 1) Is it possible to have the mouse lock into the game when you click in? I lost a couple of balls because the game lost my inputs when my mouse left the area that the game was in. 2) I felt a bit cheated when I lost because my original ball died when I had a white ball flying towards me to catch. Although that is mostly user error.

LOOP NOIR by g11 2021-04-26T23:13:09Z ♥ 2

This game has a cool idea behind it, I thought it fit the theme really well. This game definitely earns a high score on mood. One point of pain I had is that it is difficult to play this game with a laptop trackpad, maybe a way to automatically pick up would be nice.

Frog by cacciatc 2021-04-26T22:39:36Z ♥ 3

What a cute game! How you managed to make a whole NES game in the game jam time is beyond me. I played this on an online emulator. Some of the early levels I thought were too easy, but otherwise I thought it was a good level of difficulty. Very charming sound and music. Great job!

Lost Soul by d3garcia 2019-10-15T05:02:28Z ♥ 1

This is a cute short game. The voice acting was a nice touch.

Calibal's Curse by nickfla1 2019-10-15T04:56:14Z ♥ 1

This game is crazy good. This is the first LD 45 game I played that I wanted to get back to it later! Awesome work! And really difficult lol

Fool's Gold by chaotikza 2019-10-12T19:31:42Z ♥ 2

Very cool start! Got some rad Cadence of Hyrule vibes from this. I think the base gameplay loop is fun, and it lasted just long enough to be enjoyable without dragging out. Would love to see more enemy designs added and other stage intractables.

Scope Creep by 2Demigods 2019-10-12T19:21:42Z ♥ 0

Cool game. I like the idea that you can get your power-ups back from where you died, that's a pretty fun mechanic.

You Broke the Game by OlegKlishin 2019-10-12T06:33:28Z ♥ 1

Really charming game! I love all the juice: the charms, particle effects, animations... you all did a great job with the time constraint. If I may suggest, space bar for platformers is bit awkward compared to Z :)

Blank Page Syndrome by okkolobr 2019-10-12T06:10:35Z ♥ 0

Awesome use of the theme. I had a lot of trouble with how vague it was as well... :) I feel like the camera should center around the player, because it was too difficult for me to avoid enemies above me, but overall, a nice and enjoyable mini-game. Good poem!

BOKSIL by Inkajoo 2019-10-12T06:04:36Z ♥ 0

Any way for you to compile forth programs to javascript/wasm to play in browser? Code signing shouldn't be necessary then.

Dissociation: Shadow of oneself by mindtricks 2019-10-12T05:56:58Z ♥ 3

Graphics were amazing!! Gameplay was fun and original too. Would love to see this fleshed out into a full game.

My Stuff is in There! by Madbarron 2019-10-12T05:51:41Z ♥ 2

I didn't think there was too much text. :) Actually this game was the perfect length for me. Loved the consistent art (the dragon portrait cracks me up!) and thought the humor was very well done. This is also the first LD entry I've played so far that has voice acting, so props for that too! Nice job!

Starting From Nothing by sorlok 2019-10-12T05:36:00Z ♥ 0

I'm totally into the idea of adding story rpg elements to a match 3 game! Inspecting your character was really cool. The gameplay itself fell a bit flat for me, I found myself wishing the game was faster paced, although I understand that a faster pace might conflict with the sort of meditative theme. Nice entry on a challenging subject.

The Learning Drone v4.5 by kukiric 2019-10-12T05:24:55Z ♥ 0

Very first impressions of the game gave me a sort of Chip's Challenge nostalgia :) The controls were a bit rough on me, because I'm trained from other games to just using WASD and the rotation aspect is counter intuitive for my muscle memory. That's more on me though, well done on the game itself!

Chasing Light by Lychee 2019-10-12T05:11:30Z ♥ 1

I love the concept of the camera zooming out as you get more light. Very cool! Would like to see more content in game but it's a great start.

Life. I guess. by ToFuMan 2019-10-12T05:05:32Z ♥ 0

Cool game (inspired by the game of life board game?) I really dig the idea of making choices about how my character's life goes and seeing the consequences, but found myself wanting more engagement with the game then just choosing cards. That being said, great concept and integration with the theme, good work!

Letterout by tohubohu 2019-10-08T06:10:46Z ♥ 2

This would be a fantastic tablet game! I miss having a button to recall all of the pieces, but I like the dungeon crawler scrabble idea, and very clever with the theme. :)

Monkey Mountain Holiday! by scalliondelight 2019-10-08T05:25:57Z ♥ 4

This game has great style! Loved the graphics and the quips, but did wish for a better fighting system.

We Are The N-O-T-H-I-N-G by paulhocker 2019-10-08T05:17:18Z ♥ 1

Cute game! I love the art. Hope to see more updates. :)

Sword Of Nothing by Birdlay 2019-10-08T05:08:35Z ♥ 2

Loved the creepy mood. I agree with the other commenter, having some way to block would've made the fighting seem much more fair, but it was still enjoyable and the lunging mechanic felt pretty satisfying.
