I really love this idea! It's an interesting trade off between ammo and vision of the enemies. I've thought about doing something similar in a game before, and it's cool to see someone implementing it.
I did manage to kite the enemies pretty easily though, although it was pretty fun to see how many I could get lol: screenshot.png
I think some other enemies with different AI that try to flank, or maybe even fire a projectile at you could spice it up so that's not an issue.
Oh, I like the art style and the spooky sounds as well. Pretty cool game!

I definitely like the visuals, and the game is easy to pick up and quite fun!
The art in this is great, and lends itself super well to the rest of the atmosphere. Enemies really can jump out at you at the lower light levels, and paired with the bizarre sound effects it can be quite spooky.
Spooky aesthetic, I kinda wish the minimum view distance was a bit bigger so I can see enemies before I am already touching them, but otherwise it was fun!
The art style is really good, easily the best part!

I liked the idea and graphics (the creature is kind of cute!). Attacking the enemies is a bit hard because I don't see them until it is to late, but good job!

Good idea, too hard though. Would like for enemies to have to have a more distinct 3D sound, so I can get a sense of where they're coming from even if I don't see them
Really like the graphics here, and the audio has a nice quality and consistency to it. The gameplay was fairly simple but still enjoyable enough, definitely a lot of potential to build it out more if you wanted to. Got up to 2071 points on the first try, less so on the second. :P Congrats on the submission!

I love the art style. Trading off visibility for damage is a neat concept, and not being able to see the enemies gives it a nice horror like atmosphere aided by the music. This is great!
I love the concept of the camera zooming out as you get more light. Very cool! Would like to see more content in game but it's a great start.

I like the SOFT character it was so cute! the animations of it is also incredible, but i think maybe the UI can be improved, anyway great job!

That's a good self-balancing concept here. The attack uses up visibility, yet it being area-of-effect rather than single hit means that to attack most efficiently, you need to gather the enemies round. I also liked the audiovisuals, especially the coloured pencil aesthetics.

Nice visuals, with the music the mood is definitely up there. Plays well, and one thing I would change is to add some sort of background noise maybe? To indicate movement if there's nothing around me. But now that I think about it, it might be intentional to make it harder to anticipate and evade enemies :)
