My highscore was 57 π
β€οΈ What I loved * The concept was funny * The background music fitted really well * The controls felt smooth
π My thoughts: * Naming it a "massively singleplayer" game really caught my attention and seeing what you did with it made it really cool π
Really unique & epic entry!
I don't get it. I only found the axe to hid π Did I miss something? I played it in browser so it was a little sloppy. I liked the idea behind it!
I liked the combination but I felt like it was a bit slow. Pathing sometimes glitched and I got caught behind the "Racing moves" bar so I couldn't finish it. https://imgur.com/L7W9alp
The puzzling part was really well thought out!
I'm not really a chess player but damn that was cool!
β€οΈ What I loved * The whole vibe & artwork was on point! * Music was just perfect for a high intensive clicking game like this
π My thoughts: * As I said I'm not really a chess player but I enjoyed this * This would be a great mobile game * It's pretty easy once you realised how real time you can move everything accordingly to the computer
Good job man!
I couldn't get past the tutorial π It got stuck for me
Fun entry!
β€οΈ What I loved * The concept was funny * The funny music in the background and fits perfect
π My thoughts: * I felt like the jumping felt out of place since the move & stop are UI buttons. Either go full keyboard, or full UI * Needs to be more juicy * I feel like you should be able to zoom anywhere. Thoughts?
Good job man!
Hey man! Here is my review.
β€οΈ What I loved * The concept was funny * The funny music in the background and fits perfect * The controls felt good
π My thoughts: * I couldn't understand what the point where of the first street I had to cross. They never hit me and just stacked up. Was that intended or a glitch? * Got repetitive very quick. I'd love to see different type of vehicles, maybe power ups or something which would make yuou run faster? * Jin was under a car a lot of the time * the trees on the other side of the road blocked my vision and caused me to get run over a lot :smile * Maybe a little bit more of a story added?
Good job man!
I dove straight in without reading the description and I lolled superhard when I stepped in the boat hahahaha.
β€οΈ What I loved * The overall vibe. * The fishing haha
π My thoughts: * The music on the boat made me straight up laugh really hard * Couldn't figure out what the insentive was. * Maybe a little bit more of a story added?
I loved it! In what did you make it? I'd love to make a similar 3D game with some sort of horror vibe to it. Do you have a twitter?
Edit: found your twitter & I see unity π
Very goodlooking game.
β€οΈ What I loved * Graphics & the animated background * Mix of genres
π My thoughts: * Steering felt a bit clunky when speeding really hard * No azerty :/ so that's probably a reason why it was weird for me * Too much damage when hitting a wall I felt like. People like to go fast and I don't think it should punished this hard π * 2nd level was the hardest instead of 3rd
All in all cool game!
Hey man. Really fun game!
β€οΈ What I loved * Challenging, but not frustrating! * Great levels
π My thoughts: * This could be a great mobile game! * UI needs some work if you're going to be working on this post-jam * How many levels could you possibly make without it being to difficult?
Really well made! I'd love to see a post jam version but 5/5 for me!
lmao the voice over made me lol so hard
You can never go wrong with an alien-shaped main character π
β€οΈ What I loved * I felt that you did a really good job at creating a unique mood * Smooth gameplay, fantastic visuals & such nicely polished!!! * That color palette though * Excellent music
π€ My Thoughts * No azerty π donβt really like arrows * Was a little to hard / vertical at times * kickback on the shooting was epic
Loved it! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
bookmarking this to play on my windows pc. artwork caught my attention π
Getting shot at makes me suck so bad at memory puzzles :smile
β€οΈ What I loved * Unique idea * Smooth gameplay, fantastic visuals & such nicely polished!!! * The simplicity
π€ My Thoughts * I want to vote on the graphics category!! * The harder levels were a bit difficult at first but OK * sooo rewarding
Overall one of the best entries and Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Hey man. Solid entry!
β€οΈ What I loved * Funny use of the theme * The multitasking was very challenging but rewarding
π My Thoughts * Needs a bit more consistency within the artwork, some models felt auto of place * The objects need to start moving faster the longer you progress; there is currently no incentive to keep playing
Overall great entry and Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Love spooking people π
β€οΈ What I loved * The mood was perfect * Interesting but fun mix of genres * Music was solid
π€ My Thoughts * It shouldβve been more horror instead of cute, but I dig the art style * Not very challenging * Needs a bit more polishing
Overall great entry and Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Easy 5 stars for me.
β€οΈ What I loved * Gameplay & overal feel * The artwork is soooo good!!! * Smooth controls * Awesome mix of the 2 genres
π€ My Thoughts * Donβt remove coffee!!! I love the way you can speed up your character. * It takes some time to know what youβre doing, but itβs really fun afterwards!
Overall great entry and Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Wow that was a unique mini-game!
What I loved * Gameplay & overal feel * Audio & overal artwork * The character portraits!!
My Thoughts * Tower defence aspect was a little hard to understand at first * Interesting combination of genres * Needs a little more polishing. But thatβs for post jam π * Messages felt a little to big but shifted the focus to them which was good
Iβd love for you all to review my submission as well.
Damn this game is most definitely a 5/5!
What I loved * Cuuuute game * The sprites and the sound effects made the whole thing fit together really nice! * Nice polish & feedback within the game
My thoughts * Please make a post jam of this game! * Wave progression could use a little more tweaking (for that post jam π )
Like I said, Iβd love for you to review my submission as well. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
You caught my attention with the thumbnail! Reminded me a lot of Crypt of the Necrodancer like @MonstermanMFR said!
What I loved: * The aesthetics and artwork were great * The gameplay was on point!
My thoughts: * More monsters could've been added if more time was available. But I'd love to play a version after ludum dare that has more levels & monsters π * Overal great game!
I also tried to create a character with an afro for my submission π Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Fun little game man! I feel like the game could be a little more polished. Enemies were a bit to fast and I'd like to just hold my mouse button down to shoot. I had 2 lagspikes early but it was ok afterwards (probably my laptop π ) I came here because I'd been watching your stream. The card & top down shooting worked really well and the whole vibe was on point with matching artwork and sfx!
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well as I did something with the top down shooter as well! Enjoy.
Great little mini-game!
What I loved * The story & script you had going on * A lot of stuff going on and I love it! * Very challenging, but very rewarding gameplay. * I love the combination of genres
My Thoughts * The UI felt a little weird compared to the game itself
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well, since I read that you really like top down shooters π
Hey man. You don't really have to use brackets in order to play the game. I recommend you checkout webpack dev server. Brackets just spins up a webserver where you can checkout your game. Game also felt a little laggy and I liked the platform aspect of it.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Wow that was a unique experience. Bookmarked this because Iβd love to play it again in the future! Came here because of your blog post.
β€οΈ What I loved * Loved the visuals and overal style of the game. * I see soooo much potential in this game * Very challenging, but very rewarding gameplay.
π My Thoughts * I wish the game had sound or some sound effects * Maybe turn the speed down a little bit π It might be better for the jam so more people get to play the game for a bit longer. If they die instantly they come back to write a review. * Nice mix of genres.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Short & sweet game. Could be fun for 2 players as well.
What I loved * Combination of 2D platforming and a shooter was executed really well * The story was compelling * Ambience
My Thoughts * Collision detection was a bit awkward * Contrasting art style π which caused the game to feel a little bit disconnected * The mood & emotion were on point though!
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Cute little game guys!
β€οΈ What I loved * Holy shit the water looks awesome! * Cool design. * The βsillyβ / βcuteβ music. Fit the theme
π My Thoughts * I loved the racing aspect of it, but what was the genre you included within this submission? * Smooooooth controls. Except for when you go really fast. But thatβs part of it, right? Turning angle was a bit on the low end π
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
The zombie models looked awesome!
What I loved * Ran smooth * Custom engine gets extra stars!! * 2 really incompatible genres, but I loved what you tried to do with them!
My Thoughts * graphics need to be a little more consistent, I loved the zombies, but the rest were a bit too much on the low poly side. Having them all in 1 style would definitly increase the overal feel, vibe & atmosphere of the game. * Bit confusing at first glance * Control scheme was a bit weird * Like someone else had stated, crosshair would be nice! * Fell through the map once after switching to fps mode.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Fuck I wish I could play this. Don't have VR headset.
Enjoyed this gem!
What I loved * The car driving was on point & polished! * Custom engine gets extra stars!!
My Thoughts * Couldnβt really figure out the right recipe & the cooking was a little meh vs the driving * Very interesting combination of genres * I didnβt really like the car model * I fell of the map π
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Wow that was such a great game for such young guys! Glad to have you both part of this LD.
What I loved * Great 3D artwork * Nice soundtrack * Big levels
My Thoughts * The game looks really nice but I felt a sort of disconnect from the player & the world not fitting together well. * Game felt like it was meant to be played in a moon setting. Too mmuch gravity π * Cannonballs is where it became to hard for me * Needs to have a little more feedback.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Interesting mix of genres! Enjoyed this gem.
What I loved * The overal feel, trying to read the phone while dodging and collecting ingredients * Felt great * Interesting combo of genres * the sound effects were funny π
My Thoughts * Hitboxes were a bit off from time to time I felt like * I felt the objects came at you a little to fast. Maybe zoom out a little bit? * Challenging but fun!
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Enjoyed this gem!
β€οΈ What I loved * I had tons of fun, balanced, fast, run & gun, platformer combined. I love it * Felt VERY polished * You nailed the jam theme * Artwork is on point!!
π My Thoughts * Window mode is a bit glitchy with the text! * A co-op mode would be great!
A simple variation of Tetris a platform shooter can do wonders. Congratulations! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
In my top 10 submissions for this LD so far.
This is my personal winner so far.
What I loved * I had tons of fun, balanced, fast, run & gun, platformer combined. I love it * You nailed the jam theme * Artwork is on point!!
My Thoughts * Itβs so cool how nothing breaks the flow / mood of the game * The strip animated way of the story telling is great!! * no Azerty mode π
Thanks for making this & for all the effort you put into making this! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Haha clicked because of the name, stayed because of the awesome game! (that rhymes lol)
What I loved * Loved the puzzles * Interesting concept * Artwork is on point!!
My Thoughts * Fade transitions were a bit slow * Took me a while before I realised I could shoot at blocks * No azerty mode π * Iβd love to see some music * Some puzzles couldβve been a little harder, but this was perfect for a mini-game!
Great submission, Samuel! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Damn, this caught my attention really good!
What I loved * Great atmosphere & overal vibe * The world
My Thoughts * Controls could use some work * The english narration was weird π * No azerty mode π * Level design could use some work * I got stuck a couple of times
Iβd love to see additional work on this game as I thoroughly enjoyed the whole vibe I got from it! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Damn, this caught my attention really fast! My submission was also (partly) within the typing genre and I loved your approach!
What I loved * Nice idea, art, aesthetic and execution overall. Felt really polished * Reminded me of tony hawk pro skater series back in the good old days
My Thoughts * Took me a few minutes to realise what I had to do & what I was doing but after that it went smooth as butter! * Camera movement felt weird at first * No azerty mode π * Got stuck in the wall once
Overal great game! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Congratulations on first submission! I really did enjoyed it
What I loved * Cool artwork & sound design
My Thoughts * Took me a few minutes to realise what I had to do & what I was doing * The stick man looks a bit out of place * Orange & yellow was a bit hard to identify with my Flux open π * thereβs inaccessible humans
Overal great game! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Haha the sound scared the heck out of me. I had my volume turned up from checking out a previous submission π
What I loved * Wonderful art style, fantastic job on that! * Felt like a simon says & street fighter combo. Both of which I thoroughly enjoy!
My Thoughts * Game was straight forward & I figured out the controls immediately * Very creating * More enemies would've been nice or other additions but It's a compo and I appreciate the work already put in it!
I'd also love for you to review my submission as well!
I really liked the concept of this one. I felt like the drifting was a bit over the top at first, but once I got used to it it felt way better. Like you said, it's better to take your time instead of speeding and having to restart. I see what you were trying to accomplish and I love what you did with it. Like other commenters have mentioned, when you get some extra time on your hands I'd love to see some other stuff get added to the game because it really has potential. Bookmarking this π
I'd also love for you to checkout my submission! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
I laughed so hard haha. Music is great and adds to the whole comic vibe. I could never get more than 8 fps. Is that normal? π
Please do checkout my submission as well!
You had me at the music! I stayed for the awesome game.
What I loved: * graphics & aesthetics. Overal vibe was perfect * Nailed the theme * Variety!!! Something I wasn't able to include in my submission due to lack of time. I see you put a lot of work into this game.
My thoughts * Area was a bit to small I felt like * Gunshooting needs to be a little bit more responsive imho
I definitely loved this entry. I really appreciate the work you put in it. Please do checkout my submission as well!
Congratulations all of u for creating wonderful game! How did I score? https://imgur.com/v7uMxJV
What I loved: * Felt really polished * Nailed the theme with an interesting combination * Whole vibe / mood was right
My thoughts * I was confused what was hitting me at first :D * I thought I had to use JZE respectivally. Didn't get that you could only used 1 button π
Overal fucking awesome submission. I really appreciate the work you put in it. Please do checkout my submission as well!
Wow the artwork is on point man! GameBoy style art felt really nostalgic. Only thing that held me from playing it was the fact that I kept falling in a ditch upon respawing. I feel like respawining could be done instantly so it doesn't stop the flow of the game. Also kudos for the nice itchio page.
Please do checkout my submission as well!
You had my attention when you started rapping. I loved it π I only disliked having to start over on death but that's OK. I'm a big fan of dungeon crawlers and rouge-like games, and I must say you hit the sweet spot! Well done. Please do checkout & review my submission as well!
Wow the intro screen caught my attention really quick!
What I loved: * The artwork, music & general style of it * The shopping mechanic surprised me, I figured I just had to slay monsters :D * The dungeons * multiple player support??? controller / keyboard layout????
My thoughts * Felt a little weird at first * Why the french π
Overal fucking awesome submission. I really appreciate the work you put in it. Please do checkout my submission as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Pretty funny game. Was my score good? π https://imgur.com/jovDXiJ I loved how you could just run like that with the ball. I always disliked FIFA games but I actually really enjoyed this interpretation. I'd love for you to make a full football game like this π
I'd also love for you to checkout my submission! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
A LD veteran. Honored to be playing this as I really enjoyed Destiny ( 2, compared to popular opinion π )
What I loved * The artwork * The sound effects (and music until it stopped haha ) * It was hard at first but challenging. Made me retry a couple of times.
My thoughts * The shadow confused me really hard * It starts so immediate * I was a little confused as to what 2 genres you've tried to mix.
I love for you to checkout my submission!
The pigeon at the beginning scared me LOL. How did I do? https://imgur.com/BYHFQdx
What I loved * The artwork * The music in the video π * I loved the overal concept
What can be improved * More guns (or I didn't figure out if there were more π ) * Azerty mode ;) I had to click all the abilities
But I liked the overal concept. I love for you guys to checkout my submission! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
How did I do? https://imgur.com/928QJLK
This game has a lot of potential! I'd love to share some suggestions I had: * could you make it procedurally generated? It needs a little bit more variation * I think it can be made a little harded, make it so a user just can't spam his left & right arror. (Only realised that at the end tho lol * I felt like the enemies hit me to fast, I always thought I still had time left to hit them
But awesome entry man! I'd love for this to see a follow up. Please also do checkout my submission! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Damn the skeleton scared me! It started well but the game started glitching a little bit for me until it completely froze like @brendan-toy said.
I'd love for you to checkout my submission as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Game wasn't responsive for me. π https://imgur.com/a/fAQWkbo
I'm here from the ElysiaGriffin livestream! I love what you did with the genre. A whole other take on it from mine! Cool to see different approaches.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
The game requires you to be fully focussed and that makes the whole thing really immersive.
What I loved * The whole vibe & atmosphere * What you did with the theme
What I disliked * I couldn't really see the bullets on the screen * I think the monster should just die upon touching the player
Overal nice entry. I'd also would like you to checkout mine as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Congratulations on first submission! π
What I loved * Combination of both the platform & click aspect worked wonders * the aesthetic!!
What could be improved * The price increase was a little meh since it caused me to just wait * A way to remove already placed objects * Couldnβt figure out how to move the camera at first. * Become a little repetitive after a while, maybe add some more objectives to the game?
Thanks for sharing. Iβd love for you to try out my game as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Genuinely interesting game! I enjoyed it.
What I loved * Well thought out game * The music & sound effects fit together with the overal game
What could be improved * The text generator * I was confused at the start but the video helped me out! * Make the bullies a little slower * Add a little more animation to the characters
Thanks for sharing. Iβd love for you to try out my game as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
I see what you were trying to do with this game!
What I loved * Nostalgic music * Once you get the hang of it, itβs fun but still challenging * I love what you did with the theme!
What could be improved * Controls need some work which would improve the overal experience * Aiming feature
Thanks for sharing. Iβd love for you to try out my game as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Got a highscore of 250!
What I loved * Really easy to get into * The graphics, sounds, the overall feel, ambience & vibe * The credits song lol
What could be improved * Too much luck based * Can get frustrating when you have no up keys * Decrease cooldown of the cards? * Maybe a way to get rid of the cards?
Thanks for sharing. Iβd love for you to try out my game as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Almost pooped my pants lol. Donβt really like horror games but decided to give this one a go.
What I loved * The memes lol * Funny interpretation of the theme * The overall feel, ambience & vibe
What could be improved * The controls felt a little inconvenient * Some directional movement was weird * Not very clear what youβre supposed to do in the game
Thanks for sharing. Iβd love for you to try out my game as well!
I bookmarked this game earlier because the links werenβt working & I loved the artwork above.
What I loved * The Music * Flow * Concept, theme & artwork
What could be improved * Game is a little bit confusing at the start * A little more polish overal, but I feel like this has potential to be a full game! * The weapons & their sound effects * Glitchy under water
I recommend everyone to checkout the windows version. WebGL doesnβt do justice for this!
I think itβs a well thought-out game with a good sense of humor. Iβd love for you to try out my game as well!
damn those graphics for 2 days of work! Checkout my submission if you have some time on your hands!
I reached school! https://i.imgur.com/TTJY9Ws.png I loved the general vibe and how immersive it was. Controls were a little weird, you choose those for keyboard layout reasons? π Please checkout my submission as well!
why was there no humor category? this genuinely made me laugh!
Holy moly. This game gave me that No Man's Sky feeling! The whole vibe was just right. Please elaborate on this game, because I'd love to play a final version! Please checkout my submission!
Game was a little easy I felt like, but those are the struggles of a game jam. No time to polish or adjust any gameplay. With some minor adjustments you can have a really great game. Nice entry! I loved the detail in the grass. idk why π Please checkout my submission as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
wow this is really impressive for a jam game! Loved the atmosphere of the game, engaging audio and aesthetic concept! There were a couple of bugs which made me refresh the game but that was well worth it! Let me know what you think about my submission! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
I felt like the the dimensions of the game were a little to big (as I had to zoom out in order to play on my laptop π ) but overal great submission!
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
I've played this with a colleague and he was impressed by how well this is made, especially over the course over the weekend! This is easily one of the best looking entries iβve seen so far! Its relaxing, immersive and the sound design is extremely well done!
I initially clicked on this game because I also used the typing genre but stayed longer then I expected due to the really difficult levels. Great entry!
Fun little mini-game!
Congratulations on your first submission! Game could use a little polishing as it felt a little awkward to to control the player from time to time, but great concept!
I feel like a tutorial at the beginning would be really helpful as it took some time for me to figure out (time limit wasn't helping) π Solid entry overal once I realised what I was doing! I see you really put effort into the concept
Game felt a little clumsy but the artwork made up for it! Thanks for adding the hint btw π
Haha funny concept and name. I disliked that I had to go in fullscreen mode in order to play the game though. Solid entry if you could fix that π
Wow you actually caught my attention by making this game really hard π I'll have to come back to finish this since I've got to continue working but oh boy this game has potential! As another user said, this might be the dark souls of golfing games π
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
I loved that you've build a racing horror game. Sound effects are really good, game actually felt scary. I canβt shout much in my office so I was not able to finish the game but I will do so later.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
The two genres you've combined make for a very challenging game. It took a few tries to figure out the controls as it was pretty confusing at first. It would have been nice to have some way to quickly select the action for the cat (for example by hovering over it and using your keyboard?). Graphics and the idea behind it where cute!
Overall great entry and Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
This was great except for the fact that nobody loved me π All jokes aside, it was a great mini-game. Felt good & matching music made the whole experience really nice!
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Congratulations on your first submission! I actually enjoyed it. With some extra time on your hands, a little bit of artwork and polishing it a bit better the game would feel way better. But the lack of time is relatable π Check out my game if you have some time on your hands! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Well done! The graphics were quite nice and I felt like the background music fit in perfectly with the game. The background can get a little flooded, but I like it that way and it gives it that arcady feel.
I made a similar type of game, feel free to check it out!
I love the idea, but what kept me from playing it over & over again was the fact that I had to refresh in order for a new game to start.
Congratulations on your first entry! Overall, game felt great but I feel like there should be an option to speed things up a little bit π
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
The artwork is wow. Great job but sometimes the controls frustrated me a little bit.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
I must admit, I clicked on this game because of te funny and outstanding thumbnail and didn't leave dissapointed. Music & art style ware great but the game lacked in terms of gameplay. Easy fix, just add more to it! I'd love to revisit it :) If you have some time, make sure to checkout my submission!
Not sure what you meant with 3D style art but you can't go wrong with a classic like this π had over 100 points! Let me know what you think of my submission!! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
I was totally creeped out by the thumbnail of this game. Made me want to try it! Great mood but felt a little laggy at times. I'd love for you to checkout my submission as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Loved the curos / hand mechanic. II had to zoom out a bit in order for the game to fit and I'd love for you to make so you don't have to refresh & have to go through the full dialog again when you die π wanna check out my game as well? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Dudeeee, what a bummer. I got so hyped scrolling down over the artwork but it appears the file is not available :(
Wow, I wasn't expecting this kind of game in the zero category! I've played over 30 games right now and this is most definitely one of the best games of the whole jam I've seen so far. The polish, artwork, the overall feel and music fit so well together. You guys form a great team! Good luck! edit: Iβd love for you to try out my game as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
I was extremely impressed by how well thought out this is. Only thing I disliked is the fact that you could destroy your own structures, but I guess that's how you replace stuff :)
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
I loved it. Couldn't beat the last level so I decided to come write a review. While scrolling through the comments I noticed people talking about keeping your phone in front of you, but since I'm using an azerty keyboard that was a little bit hard π Maybe add a keyboard layout switcher? Game felt polished, loved the overall feel and I'd love to see you creating some more levels!
Cool game! Lot's of stuff going on. Maybe make it so the player has to manually shoot? I feel like there is no incentive for people to move except for the projectiles coming at them. I loved the music and overal feel of the project! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Fun mini-game! Why was there a difference in the moving mechanic between using the arrows on keyboard vs on screen? Curious π I'd also recommend putting some HP bars over the towers. I wasn't sure if I had to hit them! An HP bar gives that insentive I guess.
Should've read the title & description better before I started playing π I was like what has this to do with "Hanover"? Game was hard at first and maybe the speed of the band should be turned down a bit(?) but I got the hang of it pretty fast. I loved the artwork.
I love the idea. The whole thing fit really well together. Only thing I can complain about that the pushing felt a little glitchy (maybe add a longer cooldown to it?) and that it wasn't longer. Great entry!
Hahaha this is a great mini-game! Graphics & sounds we're on point! The actual hitboxes were a bit iffy but that doesn't change the fact that this is an awesome, well-thought out game.
I really loved what you did with the theme and the genres you've combined. I think if you make it so you can't hold J the game would be fairer π Not sure if the boost when you jump on platforms is intended, because it feels a bit glitchy. On the other hand it gives it much more of a booster / arcady feel.
Great implementation of genres! I was pretty confused about how to shoot at first because I thought the green bullets where ghosts. Any plans for a html5 version?
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
No words, this game is awesome. Maybe for a future version add some incentive to not spam the cards as it is the most effective way to complete a level π This would make a great mobile game as well.
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
I checked out this game yesterday but decided to come back today as I was to tired to be programming after putting 30+ hours into my submission π First off all, this mini-game is a solid 10/10 for me. Itβs well-executed, unique and polished game. Next version could be binary or something π
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Overall well-constructed. The RPG system is a little bit weak as there is much repetition. It also feels like the jump speed is might be a bit too high? I messed up plenty of jumps π Is there any reasoning behind respawning the enemies after you've killed (when you fuck up a jump for example)?
Gotta say the twitter videos don't do justice! Impressive level design, good artwork, great tunes, responsive controls and most of all insane polish. The lava felt a little strange from time to time as I couldn't figure out what spawns it. I also glitched through a wall once but that doesn't even matter π Overal one of my favorite entries!
Felt a little to tricky on azerty keyboard but loved the concept!
I bookmarked this. Game feels, looks and sounds great! In my top 5 :)
Everything felt good except for the jumping. I got stuck in the walls a couple of times while trying to get up.
I loved it! The graphics are top 5 from what I've played so far. Jumping felt a little clunky but doesn't change anything about how great it actually was. Quick side note: Game took a while to load however, not sure if it's only on my end. Maybe upload to itch?
Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
That was a funny concept! Took a while to figure out who was who though. I feel like the gameplay could be expanded to multiple locations and be sped up a little bit.
Wow this is great. Felt really pollished. Very undervalued and could rank really high. Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Had to zoom out a bit and couldn't figure out how to rotate the blocks. Maybe speed up the tempo a bit too?
Wow that was pretty hard. As Ismael said above, I feel like controlling the paddle & the cat with the keyboard is a bit too much for 1 person but it could definitely work with 2 people! I like how you did the tutorial but limit it to showing only once. It felt like it took way to long to restart a game once I died. Good work!
Took me a while to figure some stuff out but I really enjoyed the audio and music! Iβd love for you to review my submission as well.
Really strong entry. Loved the art style :)

Beautiful art (you had my attention from the thumbnail). Controls felt a bit sloppy but overall great submission to the team! Hope to see a post-mortem of this.
Planet Z33 by LanaLux 2019-10-17T10:08:19Z ♥ 0
Very impressive work for such a short time! Atmosphere and overal aesthetics felt great in combination with the ambiant sound / music. Surface of the planet felt a bit boring, but I do realise it was made in a very short time! Great Submission @lanalux !
Pandorama by CrazyHomeboys 2019-10-17T10:03:51Z ♥ 2
Wow that is a super cool artstyle for a topdown shooter! Overall mood was great, but mostly felt like the floor was really slippery throughought the game. Ammo was also a bit scarce (or I just suck at managing it) π
Great submission, and I'd like to see more of this!
When Nothing Came by velvetlobster 2019-10-17T09:58:28Z ♥ 2
This is a very unique demo of how interactive poetry should be done!
π Things I really liked and stood out for me: - The soundtrack fits perfectly - The rewind capability impressed me - Overall mood (wind blowing through the trees)
Really nice demo and I'm looking forward to more.
Carnival Mayhem by TomekS 2019-10-17T09:56:14Z ♥ 2
Hey, @tomeks, @t8kk !
π Things I liked about you guys's submission: - General vibe is on point (from graphics to small little vfx)! (I dont generally like clowns though lol) - Game felt really polished (controls and small effects) - Great music choice!
Levels felt like they took a little too long, I missed an "ending", and I kept using scroll to switch weapons π
Overall great submission!
HEARTSCAPE by ZakAmana 2019-10-17T09:53:44Z ♥ 1
Hey, @zakamana !
π Things I liked about your submission: - General vibe is on point (from graphics to small little vfx)! - Polished game wtf - Web version π
There aren't a whole lot of cards atm, so once you figured out the mechanics, it was pretty easy to beat. But overal a top 10 submission in my book!
I only now realised this was a COMPO submission!! I'm expecting a post mortem!!
Colour Shot by HumphreysMedia 2019-10-17T09:47:50Z ♥ 2
Hey @humphreysmedia, It might've been me but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to consistently shoot. Was there some sort of reloading mechanism that I missed? I'll come back and try again π Enemies would just run me over consistantly!

Haha that was so random! Could not manage to find the secret ending though. I might've been doing something wrong. Audio was funny and I truly laughed multiple times. Great submission!
Redbeard's Return by civmaniac 2019-10-17T09:22:36Z ♥ 2
Cool little demo! I realised only after writing this comment I could beat the game using fighting mechanic, but never used that / required it π Overal aesthetics were cute and it reminded me of an old game I used to play (captain redbeard or something, can't recall)!
ChopChop by jkniest 2019-10-17T09:15:51Z ♥ 1
Wow damn. Great submission. Idk why but reminded me of the first rust release (that was playable in the browser). Especially sick considering this was done in less than 72 hours! Had some problems with the controls and the mouse felt a litle to sensitive! Keep it going guys!!
A Phony Incarnation by JLV 2019-10-17T09:13:59Z ♥ 2

Find the Controls by NunoRibeiro 2019-10-13T09:59:48Z ♥ 1
Great theme integration into a classic paltformer. Flickering background was a bit distracting. I also made a platformer and didnt want to add checkpoints because it would make it too easy. I now see that people are quitting the game because it's to hard. I like how you spaced them around, didnt feel like I had too much to replay if I had to restart. Great submission!!

Monolith by Kalucifer 2019-10-13T07:45:00Z ♥ 3

I recognise the difficulty being all of the place from my submission as well. I build out a fully working level editor, only to realise I had 2 hours left to do level creation & submission. Ended up with 4 rushed levels! Super unique vibe mixed with the puzzle aspect made for a cool demo! Great submission π
UFO Escape by DAVidus 2019-10-12T13:44:06Z ♥ 2
Hey man. Fun little puzzle game. Only thing I can complain about is the drag and drop feature causing my browser to lose focus of the game. Every time I'd press an arrow key, my browser would scroll down. Great submission either way! π

π Things I liked about your submission: - Perfect theme match - Great artstyle (low poly-ish minimalistic)
π Things that could be improved: - Controls felt a bit cluncky / unusual - but I always feel like that with isometric games - Lights slowed down the pace of the game
