The gameidea is pretty nice, aswell as the overall look of the game. But its horribly balanced, right after starting the game i immediatly got the game over screen. Because the missiles are way too fast the average lenght of a run was around 2 seconds if not less. I think it would be pretty fun you could play it longer then that.

This is cool, I like the art and it's pretty unique, needs sound but it's still good.

Nice graphics, but very unbalanced, is really difficult to play, although nice possible mobile game with more polishment, good luck guys.

It's totally unplayable for me. The game is too fast (like 5* the speed). Is it possible you used frame update and didn't factor properly delta time? No sounds, no music. Also the theme? It's not there.

On the plus side. The graphic is neat, and the mood of it is nice. Keep up!

Thanks for the review. We will slow it down a bit. I did use delta time. But we didn't have time to design the main menu so we didn't have one. This is our first jam so our time management skill was poor. So it felt like if happened all of a sudden. We agree and we will work on it. The theme is that the tank Nitchs(our player) has nothing offensive or defensive. We need to work on purchase item. Which will help him upgrade the tank. This will help to increase the tank's defense.

my feedback missiles can destroy each other if they collide and soundfx nice game graphics and control and i like the idea note at level 3 i destroyed all the tanks but nothing happen is that the end of the game or idk let me know

@optus23 We are working on that. We thought of slowing the time and speeding up the player when the bullet is near the player to give him a nice chance to escape. Plus we thought of giving the player 3 seconds before the enemy tank starts shooting, so that the player can go to a save/convinient place so that it will be advantage for him. Further we are also thinking about adding more graphic elements, blasts, camera shakes,etc. Sos stay tuned :)

Unique take on the theme! Unfortunately I got stuck in level 3 with all the tanks destroyed. I love the simplicity while still being interesting. Could use some sound though ;)

Idea is great, but gameplay design kills it. You need to escape fast-moving HOMING missiles? Let us also hide them behind the trees so you won't know what got you lol. I can see great potential, it just needs polish.

Nice game and idea, but the game is so unfair when you respawn and instantly reaped by a tank. Concept was good but missiles are so fast

I really like the premise, of a tank who can't shoot but wants to still join in, it's super cute. Fits with the cute art style too! I have to agree with some of the other comments, those bullets are too fast compared to the tank. The tank really needs to be faster, or maybe have a boost button to be able to get out of the way last second.

I managed to find a tactic that worked, which was get behind the bullet to give me some time, and then go find the tank and just sit inside the other tank until the bullet caught up. Seemed like cheating, but otherwise I was dying within seconds of spawning. Sometimes I would die in less than half a second after spawning too, which wasn't great, maybe having an initial few seconds before the first bullets are shot could help?

Really cool idea, just needs a bit of balancing.

Funny concept, I like the idea of cycling planet and the beautiful trees. The control of the missiles seemed more depend on luck than my skills. My tank got until level 3 and destroyed the two other tanks, then nothing happend anymore ;-)

@goodzilla Thanks for the review and sorry about the bug we will fix it in our next build. We do think that the missile seems to be luck so we are.planning on some improvements like slowing the time down when the missile is near us and speeding up the player a little bit so that it will be easy to evade and give a 3 seconds head start before the enemy tank starts shooting to get to be better place.

@sibi Thanks for the review. As we have mentioned there is a bug which is preventing the players from going beyond level 3 will work on it. This will be a major update on our side including many changes so it is taking a bit more time. Sorry about that.

@koge Yes, we do understand. We are thinking about giving 3 seconds buffer time when the game starts before the tanks will start shooting missiles so that the player can go to a better position to counter those missiles.

@joeshanahan Thanks for the idea. We where thinking about the same. And for doudging the bullet we thought of slowing the time down when the bullte is near us and giving a small boost to the player so that he can escape. We wanted to make a casual mobile game so we want the game with as simple controls as possible which is easy to understand by seeing a screenshot that's where it got complicated. We will definitely improve with the update and thanks for the review.

Very interesting concept! I love the idea of hurting enemies with non-player bullets. I did find an exploit that makes the game kinda easy. Enemy tanks don't have collision which means you can just get inside those tanks and bullet will hit the other tank instantly. I obviously played properly which was pretty fun! I think there are too many details on the map and it makes it feel weird to try and see bullets that are small but damn if those details don't look nice.. you did an amazing job with art! Looks super pretty. I think all in all its a very great concept that you can definitely expand on in the future :) Keep it up!

For people having trouble with the game running too fast: Switching my desktop resolution from 4k to 1080p seems to make it run properly. I tried this since I wanted to record the game running too fast using OBS, but recording with OBS in 4k slows the game down to a proper level as well :p

As for rating: Fun concept, artwork/visual style looks super polished, and the orbital controls work really well. I know it can be super easy to get bogged down in maths doing that sort of thing, and end up not finishing a gamejam, so good job on that.

Collision on the rocks/trees and enemies would add a lot IMO.

@wheybags Seriously you took the words right out of my heart. This was our first gamejam and thought of doing something great/ which was not done by others/me(especially). So we setteled with this round planet. You could argue that we got inspired from the video @quoc mentioned. But if we did see that before the jam it would made our work much easier or we would have improved our graphics and animation atleast. and for those words. We serously thought of giving up when we got stuch with following missile and tank on a round sphere since non of the unity defaults would work and we should come up with our own solution. We tried our best. With review like yours we can now feel somewhat proud of our work.

And for collisions Tank to tank collision is ignored because of the shpere cause we cannot set default gravity nor how the tank should react depending upon its posision on the sphere. This at that time was too complex to think at that time. We will try to think about to again and come with a good solution(We hope).

We thought of adding reaction animation when the environment objects(rocks, trees, etc) are hit with bullet/tanks.

Great concept, I loved it! A tank that can not shoot. Nice graphics, too. I wish the tanks could be a bit faster though, and it would be great to have some collisions with rocks and trees to make the game more challenging.

This game is ridiculous hard xD But I managed to come to level 3 but after I defeated all the tanks there nothing happend... I didn't level up and I was stuck on lvl 3. But other than that... Great Job! :D

I have to say I agree with most of the reviewers. The looks nice and the idea is interesting. You need to balance the game, but you already know that and it's nice that you are adressing people's problems :D
