Hey, glad you guys took part in Ludum Dare and good luck on future ones! As for the game, it was pretty simple, nothing too flashy or innovative and it's fun as a short game but there definitely are spots you could improve in like having some form of feedback when enemies get hit, even a small particle will do. Another thing that I think would have been good is to have more enemies but a higher firing rate too, would have made things more fun in my opinion but other than those, well done on the entry and good luck in the future ones! Also please include instructions on top part, I couldn't figure out how to shoot until I saw it tucked on the very bottom :D

This was a nice entry! I really liked the visuals, pretty consistent and the audio design was also really great (Doors closing made me laugh though, that was amazing, did you slam your hand on the table to record it?). Really great entry! I really liked the visuals, very lovely. Sound design for the most part was really good, I just think footsteps were a little too loud and... weird. I did have a bit of a trouble at first and preferred to avoid combat but after I got the fireball it was actually really fun. The level design visually could be better I feel like? More landmark spots or whatever but this is a gamejam so I'm asking for too much there. All in all a really solid entry, well done!

Has the sequel to one of the finest games been released? Blimey, it was time to live again, remember why I was born in the first place, NibbaQuest offers highest caliber gameplay of any genre! Are you a fan of stealth? Sure go play stealthy, are you a fan of action games? just run around and alert all guards, are you a fan of battle royale? you get the loot gathering aspect of it, it's almost as if the clouds split wide open as i stood open in the stormy weather, god reached his hand down from the heavens and handed me the game himself.

10/10 the game managed the "Keep It Alive" aspect and I am the "It".

Very interesting concept! I love the idea of hurting enemies with non-player bullets. I did find an exploit that makes the game kinda easy. Enemy tanks don't have collision which means you can just get inside those tanks and bullet will hit the other tank instantly. I obviously played properly which was pretty fun! I think there are too many details on the map and it makes it feel weird to try and see bullets that are small but damn if those details don't look nice.. you did an amazing job with art! Looks super pretty. I think all in all its a very great concept that you can definitely expand on in the future :) Keep it up!

I actually had quite some fun with this one! The controls are quite close to Speedrunners at least from my memory, wall jumping works very well and its very fun to try and run around trying to beat your score. I think you can fix getting stuck on wall by making walls frictionless, that's what i used in my game and i never got stuck on a wall again after it :) Pretty fun entry! I think even doing a goofy quick asset of player drawn in paint would've been better than just a rectangle but that's just me hahah, hope you'll have more time for next jam!

I like the concept of upgrading your arsenal as you beat rounds but sadly there are only 3 weapons but time constraints exist in Ludum Dare so no judge on that. As for those 3 weapons they feel very weird to use, sword has a huge windup and you get bombarded by others if you try swinging it, i finally found a way i wouldn't just take damage while attacking but yeah, kinda weird to use. Ranged weapons also felt weird to use as you had to aim based on where you are going. I guess adding mouse control would make things easier but you could also have ramped up the challenge by adding enemies that also have projectile weapons and maybe have the ring evolve into something with obstacles. Empty ring could work IF the gameplay supports it :) Take Devil Daggers for example, pure flat map but because of how varied enemies behaviors are the game is very replayable and fun, here sadly enemies just walk up to you and whack you until you die, which is why i think obstacles could spice it up a tad bit :) Also there's no progression system sadly, every time i win the map just restarts. This might sound like i'm bashing but hope it doesn't come off like that, i can see you have potential, just trying tell you what i would prefer, that is all :) All in all i still ended up playing several times messing around with weapons so i definitely can't say i didn't have fun with it, well done! Visuals were also pretty cool!

Sound design is also very nice but i think gun shot could use a slight variation with every shot to not be super repetitive as its sound you hear the most. The game is incredibly difficult as bandits spawn behind too but the gameplay itself is very fun so very impressive job on that :)

This game was so damn fun, one of my most favorite entries! The trident guy is one hell of a challenge but it was fun figuring out how to beat him. After that it kind of got easier but still super fun. Bow and arrow was very powerful but i still loved the armor+sword combo the most, very manly. Loved the last bit where game threw everything at once, caught me off guard and definitely made me try my best to stand victorious. Had this one hilarious moment where a man spawned after i killed lion as if he was hiding inside a lion (Played it second time to make sure i wasn't going crazy, it happened again, seems to be either an intentional thing or a bug, love it either way), definitely gave me a good laugh.

All in all a superb game! Also loved the attack sound, state of the art effects right there.

Very fun game! I love the way bots move and i love how they randomly appear as if another player joined. Boss was very unexpected but caught me off guard with that asthmatic laughter. Sadly i wanted to beat the game but as i was beating that boss the game crashed :( Overall a very fun entry but one thing i found annoying is that perspective is hard to get used to, i have no idea where i or enemy will land. Adding shadows to the very bottom of the object would've been infinitely more better :) But other than that no issues, controls felt very fluid. Well done!

The game seems very promising but i feel like the beginning is a little too slow, there are a lot of things you can do to make early phase fun :) Even player controller feels very slow and floaty (maybe it was just my FPS but it felt like it was going at good framearate) but that aside, art is very pretty and animations are very fluid, music is pretty relaxing but the sound effects overpowered music sometimes. All in all i think its a pretty great entry but it definitely has a huge room for improvement! Keep it up :)

Very interesting idea, love narrator talking to the player but the difficulty is a little too much for me as i'm not a platformer player :) It was a bit simple when you just had to see where you were but gravity switching and platforming made my brain shut down with windows XP sound. I feel like there could be a better way to implement the limbo switching but maybe i just need to git gud. Very interesting concept but once again, i just suck. Well done!

This game was probably one that i played the longest out of all the games i tried so far, it was extremely engaging! Music and art is just absolutely top notch, reeeeeeally adds to the feel of the game. The game itself was as i said, extremely engaging, building a story and probably on every playthrough, you will get a different story, i definitely want to try beating this game some day as its extremely entertaining and relaxing, well done! Really love the smooth and simple animations as well, very splendid. I did die with this one weird bug where i ate and next thing i know it says i skipped a meal and died but i'll think of it as a special, exclusive story that i got hahah. Overall insanely great entry, definitely try to rate other peoples games, this game needs to be seen by more :)

Pretty fun game :) It's nice that everyone moves at different speeds, makes it pretty intense when you are about to pickpocket and you are close to leaving the shadows. It's pretty interesting that you don't necessarily lose after being caught but if you aren't fast enough you lose in the long run. Overall pretty fun entry but i think there's more that can be done with this mechanic, keep it up :)

Really interesting entry! Visuals were top notch and it felt very nice to ominously float around with my keytar but DAMN i had a hard time figuring out how spells worked. There was a solid 5 minute of me trying to damage a pumpkin and corgi to no avail, trying every existing combination, had to refer to guide several times and still made no sense, did i break the game? :'^) Sounds played after spell casting really interfered with music playing which was kind of sad but in general the concept was very interesting and nicely made, i just kinda sucked with spell casting hahah

Pretty nice entry :) It was fun for what it is. I do wish turrets were a little bit stronger as they felt somewhat useless when players attacks were so much stronger. Enemy variety (at least from my gameplay, not sure if more come later, tried several times and only saw first aliens and slightly different colored alien) is very short, it would definitely increase the depth a lot more :) You could have aliens being distracted by towers but another alien type that just goes for you so turrets don't feel completely useless hahah. It was also hard to tell when i took damage as there was no indicator at all but the pixel art was fantastic and i didn't face any bugs, pretty polished :) All in all a pretty nice entry! Good job!

I love the simple take on strategy formula :) I even managed to find the "Zerg Rush" equivalent in this game (Spamming Sexy bois). It's definitely very simple and fits the theme perfectly too :) loved the concept of having to move your trash to enemy teams side as well, pretty hilarious. I had one issue but mostly because i don't have a 16:9 monitor, i couldn't see bottom UI (if there was supposed to be one) nor the bases with turrets and stuff :) Very fun entry in general, well done!

As everyone has said, movement is really fluid and fun but i think the camera is too zoomed in, you kinda have to take it slow if you don't want to randomly crash into a damaging block because you were unable to see it quick enough. Had few bugs where i just died while no damaging blocks were in sight but once again, the controls felt really smooth and not once did i feel like it was clunky, well done :)

Really interesting idea! Execution was also done very nicely. Blocks falling feels very impactful, very nice choice of sound effects and screen shake. Soundtrack was hella lit especially when that tetris-like melody came along, very cool.

One downside is that moving around sometimes feels awkward but all in all still a really interesting entry!

Loved the items: Scythe was really fun to use, had fun trying to hit enemies with its returning mechanic but it was kinda annoying that i had to press 1 while aiming with mouse, thankfully i used my 3rd arm and all was well. W A T E R was truly a blessed item, saved me from dying to a boss and also was very refreshing. Big gay laser is truly a highlight, easily going up in ranks with likes of BFG from Doom and The Golden Gun from Goldeneye 007. The death screen was very hilarious, definitely caught me off guard. The art obviously is spectacular, if DaVinci was still alive I'm positive he would be weeping from jealousy.

All in all a fun little entry but i do wish that there were more enemy varieties and i didn't have to involve my 3rd arm in the gameplay.

Absolutely amazing, visuals were beautiful (characters looked a bit out of place with art compared to amazing world but its alright) and it felt nice exploring new things.. only thing i found something i had to fight back was controls themselves, sometimes i would see a person and just woosh past them at speed of light without able to brake... amazing entry nevertheless!

Really funny concept with great pixel art style! Don't want to sound like i'm bragging but as a fast typer game ended really quickly, having difficulty levels (higher the difficulty, faster the words would come) would really be great! Really cute entry nevertheless ❤️

Soo what can i say... idea is pretty good and deeefinitely has a potential.. however these were things i faced in beginning: Having no clue i could mine those walls by walking up to it and holding down right button... when i saw hand icon go up i was slightly confused... i was stuck in a maze trying to figure out what was going on... It would be great if level layout wasn't so confusing :) Killing drones was a fun way to get crystals, standing up a wall and holding down a button... not so much. Shooting was pretty simplistic and nice, throwing in more enemies to have something more to shoot at would be great. All in all... hopefully i didn't sound harsh but i really love idea and hope to see it improved in future!

Sadly i was alone when trying this but tried it 1v1 against myself. loved the idea of random events on arena! Looped music could use some polish but other than that... really smooth and great game. Nice entry!

Nice entry. would be glad if looking around was done via mouse rather than left and right mouse buttons! Losing piano sound thing gave me a near heart attack (had sound a little bit too loud i guess) but sound design in general was still good. Graphics while simplistically charming.. would be good if it had some models :) Also not sure if the loading screen is "fake loading screen" or not but if it is then i'd really recommend not having fake loading screen... its much better for everyone! not that those few seconds changes anything but still. all in all, pretty good entry!

I beat the game at 19 seconds left, loved the simplicity of it! pretty goofy little experience. nice job! what i would recommend for simplest physic optimization is having 1 huge sphere object attached to your player thats a trigger, give every physics object a script where if they are out of the sphere rigidbody turns kinematic.. great entry!

Really interesting concept, love the small backstory of the "warrior".

Things i really liked:

- Visuals looked really nice.

- Firing and hitting enemies is satisfying.

- Loved effect when you rotated your mouse and "ammunition" sort of just rotates around.. really cool looking thing!

What i would change:

- Instead of having buttons that you have to press next to character it would be nice to have it next to cursor so you don't have to pause for a moment to look at what button you have to press.

- Slightly more variety with enemies.

- Sound obviously.

All in all, great game!

Has a potential. Art is really nice. You could increase pacing of the game because its too slow. It doesn't feel like anything is being degraded when leveling up as i tried to degrade speed as much but i felt like i was becoming faster. You can add different enemy types for more fun :) for example you could have ninja that throws shurikens from random places, it would add a little depth to the game so you can focus on something. It lacks challenge a little bit but as i mentioned: has very big potential. good luck!

Thought Mortal Kombat would test my might, i was wrong. It is the most intense basketball game i've ever played. oddly fun honestly! you could make visuals a bit better. its metalic setting is raised to maximum which makes colors a bit weird to distinguish when on low settings. nevertheless pretty decent game!
