Happy Little Demons by zirconcode 2024-04-14T11:48:55Z

I saw your blog posts already and wow, this is really a nice game to play.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

FRUIT-TYPE by voxel 2018-05-13T11:49:09Z

Ok, I needed some tries to get used to it, but then this is a really nice game! It's very hard that one hit can kill you. Also I wish there were background music. :musical_note: :grinning:

Rhythm Rogue by vilcans 2018-05-13T19:27:53Z

I think this is one of the best LD entires I played! I really like the idea and the style. :grinning: There were just one annoying thing: After a rotation I very often miss the beat. Maybe I'm just too bad at rhythm games but as soon as I hit the button the right time it works out for me. It's just the rotation. But anyway, it's a great game!

Dungeon of Amplidi by godsboss 2018-05-13T12:15:32Z

Overall, the game is a nice idea. This concept of level building is very interesting. What I missed was a small tutorial or even a description with a short manual. Maybe just on this LD page. That would helped a lot. Also I didn't get used to the right panel. I always placed these goblins on islands so they never attacked the knight.

Forest Groove by eott 2018-05-13T11:03:33Z

I like the idea of the game, but I had problems playing it. Maybe my rhythm is just too bad :joy: My eyes were just starring at the line at the bottom to get the timing right. But then I didn't have time to look where I'm going. That makes it hard to place buildings right.

As an idea, let the player character jump in the rhythm so I don't need to look to down.

Lunar Lander Lunacy by JoshyOshKenoshi 2018-05-13T19:35:55Z

Ok, either this is a very hard game or I'm just very bad at space questions. Even when I'm answering as fast as I can, without many mistakes a crash into the moon  But the idea is nice, maybe add a option for difficulty that changes the thrusters force.

The website is down, so I can't play :scream:

Type2Flap by Cedric Fey 2018-04-26T12:12:41Z

This is a really nice idea with a very good implementation, but it is indeed very hard! I like it, but I'm too bad at it :grinning:

Point-defense Hell by PolyHatSteve 2018-04-24T07:50:31Z

I really like it! This game is simple but it works and makes fun. But it's also very hard. I've died at wave 7 I think. Any win strategies out there?

Fire Duck Football by Yohoho Games 2 2018-04-24T07:28:53Z

Wow, thats a really nice game! I like the simple but fitting sound design  But I found a small problem. On my 13-inch MacBook (2560x1600 pixels) the image of the HTML5 version in Safari is cropped at the left and right side in fullscreen. It's good in windowed mode. I don't know if this is only a problem with the web version.

CardPG by CeeJap 2018-05-13T11:16:34Z

Looks like a cool idea. What I most missed was a short introduction or maybe just a little bit of filler story to make it more "RPG-ish". Also, you shouldn't scale up graphics, especially pixel-graphics. The enemies looks really weird because of there different blur. Scale them up in GIMP or Photoshop and make sure that filtering is disabled.

Crystal Wars by Nico H. 2018-04-24T07:14:06Z

@Zimmer Hi and thank you for your feedback! I must admit that we knew about this and forgot to fix it :scream: It is more a complete user input design flaw than a bug. It should be the expected behavior that you must hold the RMB to unload the crystals after you must hold it to collect them. But at the Moment you should __single-click__ to unload. As I encountered that misbehavior I didn't fixed it because it was really handy to just click the HQ short and go along. Saves time to do other stuff, right? Out of sight, out of mind. And now it's too late. :timer:

@tthe Thank you for your feedback. We totally forgot a setting for mouse sensitivity. Now where you wrote it, it's seems so obviously. @klintwood told me that there is already a variable for mouse sensitivity in the FPS Controller but it's unused and acts like a constant.

DeadBeat by Grace Woolson 2018-05-13T20:48:12Z

Nice game! But I encountered a very big bug! On Windows 10 (x64) with Chrome 66.0.3359.139 there is no sound! Because I have no other (self-installed) browsers on this system I played it with MS Edge. There it worked. I don't know the reason for this bug, other games with sound worked and I even tried fullscreen mode. Silence. Thanks god that Edge could handle it, didn't think I would ever use it ^^

Another idea: I like the idea of the intro but it's very long so it would be nice if there were an "skip" button. That annoyed me when I tried it multiple times.

Apart from that it makes fun to play!

Town Warfare (RTS Shooting!) by magicera 2018-05-13T11:29:14Z

From this prototype you could build a really nice game! There were some annoying things: * The sound of the zombies (I think) is playing to often. Maybe add 2 or 3 more sounds and play them at random intervals. * I don't see a good use of the RTS Mode. You can move all the policemen but that's it. Maybe some things like buildings or factories (for example a barrack for more policemen) would make the game more interesting. * Single selecting a policeman is very hard, especially if you moved them all once to a position so they are almost at the same position. Just use the selection box only when the mouse is moved over a threshold. If not, select the entity under the cursor directly.

If you're interested, we also made a RTS FPS mix: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/placeholder-game Maybe you want to check it out. In our case, the game is completely first person and also lacks some RTS features but I'm interested about whats your opinion about our game.
