Hey, thanks for the how to play hint, I came back and tried it again, and loved it! I said 'oh, god, this is painful' out loud at one point - really felt the whole tongue tied on a date thing.

There's no real end - and for what it's worth, 9 is a really good score, I think 6 is my own top sccore

Yeah, welcome to game jam - guess the blow animation was hard. and yes, it's laggy, the back end server has to work really hard.
Thanks for the playthough @jake-marks ! Yes, our front end is a bit of a crude Snap! game. Sorry you had trouble, I think you popped it into dev mode.
You're right about the many rough edges - the house is moved and resized to match the drawing (wasn't actually that hard). If we work on the game more we'll move away from the Snap! front end.
Great visuals and audio. Playing on a laptop, the instructions were below the screen and I didn't see. so first game I was clueless

Pretty fun game. The jumping could be a bit higher so you have a bit more control over the words you take, but overall good game design.
Needs some narrative dressup, but it's a fun mechanic. Booster points from me for making a board game.
Thanks - yes, funny part is, that was actually part of the old systems. There's lots of issues with it, but we had fun making it.
what browser? cross browser testing was minimal. ctrl-+ makes things larger
re the minimap - the idea was to mix interactive fiction and minesweeper.
autoscrolling was on the to-do list when we hit time constraints.
