If we try to make a scary game. The pictures are really really scary. I really enjoyed this game. Initially it starts slow of at a not so good phase but after sometime this becomes reaally good. Great game-play. Great effort.

Really cool game idea! I haven't seen anything quite like this. Cool entry!

Well, I don't even know if I finished this game, or if the game have finished me, or if I played this game, or maybe was it a nightmare? … Where's my gun? WHERE'S MY GU… Oh… Wait… I never had any gun. Well done and good job!

wish i had this option during the ludum dare lolol

cool idea and made me laugh sometimes ... this is obviously very challenging to make though and I commend for your courage on it

it would be cool to have some possibly random interactions with this pen helper

mrstari 2019-10-14 15:23

i cant stop laughing - great job :D

I really liked this game. I must admit that I spent way too much time drawing things, but it was enjoyable. I liked feeling scared with very few images and the gloomy background sound. Pen helper is cute. There was just a black screen with him at the end so I don't know if that was the ending or something else. Other than that, nice job!

Really great job! I kind of wanted something more at the end. But very clever overall.

Hilarious entry! Loved every bit of it, thanks for not having a jump scare at the end!! Really fun to play through, loved the audio! :)

Really nice idea. Very good realization, and very smooth to play!

Wow pretty innovative idea! Love it! At the point of the images it was a bit scary hahaha, really good work!

rhymar 2019-10-26 22:59

cool idea, but i dont have a microphone^^

pkenney 2019-10-26 23:27

:~(

I was all in on this and eager to see where it went.

But my computer does not have a microphone, and the game is stuck at the sound recording part and I cannot proceed.

Bummer, because this is a wildly different experience than many other entries and with this content I'm putting in, I am wondering whether there's some comic payoff at the end where it all gets thrown back in my face or something.

manomeu 2019-10-27 02:51

Nice game, but i got scared and kite when recording the audio ;-;

adhesion 2019-10-27 14:24

@rhymar @pkenney just curious - what browser are you on? Wondering if there's any difference between browsers when there's no microphone.

pkenney 2019-10-27 14:58

@adhesion chrome on windows. Experience was I would click the record button and the button's state would change, then I'd click done. But after that, the clippy guy wouldn't proceed. I tried this 20 times or so. Then I tried playing something audio through another tab (Youtube vid) in case that somehow got picked up, but no dice.

rhymar 2019-10-28 04:55

@adhesion iam on google chrome but its not the browser but the fact that my headset micro isnt working for months^^ so its not your game

aj-jones 2019-10-28 23:40

Definitely a new take on the theme, really enjoyed that. Only small bug I encountered was if you deny the help at the beginning it takes quite a while before it can reset and allow the game to progress.

I like it. I believe that game design should be bright and unusual. In general, I love games that you immerse yourself in and everything happens like in real life. It's really addictive. Where do you draw inspiration from? Personally, I am on [Master Bundles](https://masterbundles.com/templates/mockups/) Here I find a lot of creative ideas for creating any design. Have you heard of mockups? I noticed that they are very unusual on this site. But most of all I liked that I was able to read useful information for myself, namely why mockups are needed and how to use them.
