Haha I played this with my wife and she now hates me because I became so good at it :) Love the graphics, simple gameplay... Loved the music at first but kinda got bored after a while :)

Haha I played this with my wife and she now hates me because I became so good at it :) Love the graphics, simple gameplay... Loved the music at first but kinda got bored after a while :)
Nice puzzle game! I enjoyed each room's increasing difficulty. It's fun to play and quite easy to grasp. Lacks some music and I felt like keeping the controls restrained to a grid might have been easier. (instead of smooth movement accross the entire map) Great game though!
I've got mixed feelings for this game! I think the idea of the magnifying glass is awesome! However the size of it limited the view too much and made it hard to play. I'm a huge Asterix/Obelix fan so I loved the atmosphere! However I felt a bit underpowered compared to the romans! Maybe I forgot to drink some potion :) Good game
Great game! I loved the humor and the game design. Juggling between panels was tough at first but I loved the idea of email spamming :) Good job
Interesting take on how to drive a car, I was basically slowing down most of the time :) Also those cars in the way can become really hard to pass! What's next? Scoreboard? Ennemies? Love the graphics, it's a good start for a bigger car game!
Amazing atmosphere. Everything feels dark and heavy. Not quite sure how it fits the theme but that was a great, great game. Thanks!!
Great game! I love the way the 4 world times played together. Game #2 often finished itself without me ever touching it. Music was nice, graphics could have used to work. Good entry :)
Good game, I loved the progression. Add a bit of sound, decrased the size of the player health bar and the game is golden :)
Fun cartoon graphics, I loved the background layers. The music felt a bit repetitive.
Great entry. Nice twist of gameplay mechanics by adding diagonal movement. I loved the music and sound as well. Very soothing! Overall it feels very well executed and polished. Contrats
Great game! I loved being able to fight the other helis, very fun gameplay! Not a fan of the music but I loved the rest of the game. Good job!
Probably one of the best music of this LD. Fits perfectly to the game. Love the intro/tutorial. The Ice golem bug was a bit annoying. Liked the concept a lot :)
Just played SimBrain :) Great simulation. One thing that was missing was the incentive to work on the different brain areas.
Nice little puzzle! I felt like the character could have moved a little bit faster but the puzzles were great.
Can you give more explanation on how to play? Doesn't seem to work for me
Fun little game! Only wish there was just a bit more content to it. Also bigger scores seemed to be the result of luck from where the car was coming from? Otherwise, it's very original and well executed. Great job!
I think I broke my mouse buttons lol
Great game :)
Very very cool animations. I love the overall visual style as much as I would hate being chased by a zombie-snowman :)
I was hoping for an ending after a while. Good job :)
Solid combat game! Controls sometimes get in your way but I loved the AI for each boss and discovering new ways to beat them. Loved the player animation. Great game!
Nice little puzzle! I had to watch the youtube video to get the mecanics at first but it was very clever. Loved the art and the music as well. Good job
I loved this one! The only thing that threw me off was that the Keep / Kick presentation feels backwards (you see those that you need to keep on the right) so I always have a hard time remembering who to keep. Other than that, wonderful game :)
Nice game with fun graphics and a great soundtrack that reminded me of Lotus 3 (the car race game)! Otherwise the balance could have used some work. After a quick while the player is overpowered and the game gets a bit boring. Good job though!
Very fun concept! Reminded me of Frozen Synapse, but in 3D :)
Perfect game, my favorite so far amongst all the LD entries. Polished, fun! I loved it. I was so impressed to see you did this by yourself. You sir have a lot of talent. Kudos!
This is so hard lol It took me 5 times to not drown while getting the 2 left-most capsules! I love the blob animation, it feels sticky and heavy. No music though?
Hmm.. I was hoping for a different ending after having finally more than 20 points!! :)
Felt like I was on ice! Pretty hard to control movements. Otherwise it was a pretty entertaining top-down shooter, congrats!
By far one of the very best entries I've seen on LD. I'm blown away by your talent.
An incredible entry. Extremely polished, love the tutorials, amazing graphics, wonderful audio.. Not much to add here, it was merely perfect.
I was a huge fan of chipset-0 and I was excited to see you got into LD31. That entry is absolutely stunning. Wonderful effects, great AI, great sound, lovely gameplay.. Can't describe how impressed I am with this. Perfect controls to bring a bit of Pacman in. Just outstanding...
This was one of the better surprise of this LD for me. Everything was top-notch. Congrats
Cool game. The bike could have gone a bit faster. Reminds me of paperboy, except you can't get killed by cars :)
I love the art style, everything is very cute and blends well together. The gameplay could have been more researched but the theme is respected.
The only thing I would fix is that I used E to bring up the menu as a way to pause the game, bug my score was reseted to 0 after the menu was closed.
Good entry :)
That's a great entry! The game has this hockey feel to it... I enjoyed it quite a bit :)
Some memory issues make it laggy pretty fast. It's a great attempt for a first LD! Good job!
Such a great concept! Gets quite tricky to keep track of everyone on the screen at once. Great use of the theme. Great audio. Beautiful entry overall.
I enjoyed playing this game. I enjoyed listening to the intro music even more lol. Great FX. The maze felt a little slow. Good job! :)
Nice job, very cute graphics and lively colors. The sound was nice as well, though the tune was bit short and ended up being repetitive after multiple loops. The gameplay was fine but I got stuck twice by pushing a block against a wall.
Dear God what did I just play lol
I tried to put 6 stars in Humor but couldn't
I loved this so much! Very polished, stressful and fun!
I quite enjoyed your game! I loved the little stories about the objects you find. Nice adventure. I would have liked to see one of those stories go a bit deeper but yeah... 48h :)
Nice game! Hope you won't get sued by Candy Crush lol
I liked the graphics! Moving organs around was pretty funny, I kinda felt like a surgeon :)
I loved the concept of the game within a TV that you can interact with. 5 stars for the theme! The game itself was a bit repetitive and I would have loved to see some explosions lol. Good entry overall!
Loved this! Very polished and fun to play! Throwing the snowball's head somehow feels so rewarding lol.
Wasn't too bad but could have been much better with some decent controls! I just couldn't attack, dodge, move naturally without having to think hard about how to do it, even after a couple of plays! Loved the inventory/levelling up. Background was a bit too light and made it hard to see the bullets.
This was a wonderful find. A mix of tetris/bejeweled with the perfect soothing music. And it's a perfect mobile game as well. I hope you guys publish this before someone else does! Great job
Good breakout! Nice art! The ball sometimes got stuck making horizontal lines as the angle was almost 0. Loved the music.
Very interesting and original idea!
Great entry. I love the atmosphere of the game. Made me think a bit of FTL. Didn't have much luck with the planets I visited, but I'll give it another spin.
Interesting take on the theme. Some glitches (I keep my green torchlight even though my body disappears when I die) but otherwise I liked it :)
Great game! A little frustrating because there is not a lot of feedback for clickable areas which are really small. In the end I lost a lot of time by just trying to click the exact pixels even though I knew what you were supposed to do. I love the music / atmosphere which built a great sense of urgency without the need of fancy 3d graphics.
Great job overall!
This is pretty good game... once you understand how to play it :) I like the strategy aspect of it, it's starts off being pretty hard but then evens out once you know which buildings to place first. A couple of things that could have been improved: the sound effects were too loud compared to the music and the music was kind of difficult to listen to. The gameplay became a bit repetitive as the # of buildings is really limited. Some UI tweaks would have been nice, such as a way to pause the game, the restart button not overlapping the expanded help. Why make every unit 10$ and not 1$? It adds unnecessary complexity. Also I don't quite see how it fits the theme? Anyways, I thought you did a pretty good job overall! Cheers!
I love the art style. I enjoyed the music a bit less, even though it brought back memories from the old days :)
The gameplay was a bit repetitive but I ended up playing a full game through. Nice entry.
Lovely watercolor art! I just loved the music. Reminded me of Hearthstone music. The gameplay was good but became a bit tedious with 2 characters at once. Great job overall
Gosh I almost loved this game, if it wasn't for the aweful destruction that came randomly from the wizard... It seemed like any strategy that I put forth was either amazing or sucked depending purely upon luck: where do the fireballs hit... Great audio, lovely graphics. Tough controls, I wish we could control the dwarves a bit more so that they never pack and get destroyed in one shot.
One of my favorites! Just had a blast playing with my wife :) Excellent job!
Simple game, but pretty effective. No need to read 5 pages of rules to understand the concept. A couple of things could have been added (without going into the lack of graphics / audio): a randomized maze for multiple levels, different types of ennemies, some powerups to go faster / through walls / etc... One thing that I would fix is the collisions with the corners who could be smoothed a bit.
This was nice. Congrats on delivering a full game under 48h.
Very polished game. Original and fun to play. Thanks!
@benmcnelly haha yes, you guessed right! They had 3 purple pixels indeed :)
Great job. Thanks for the checkpoints. Awesome visuals! :)
Loved the ability to create my own ship. Controls were very tough. Nice music :)
Great little car game. I absolutely love the graphics. Controlling the car was a bit tough, I was constantly crashing as soon as I tried to pick up speed.
Fun little game! I had to play a couple of times to figure out what all the collectibles were and if they were good or not :) Controls felt great!
I love what you did with the theme. It was a long walk before I could get all the gems, wish there would have been a bit of music as well! :) Good entry!
Nice game. I loved the dark art style. Couldn't make it to the 7th day, too bad for my family lol
Nice puzzler. The control mechanics were sometimes hard (manipulating multiple robots) but I quite enjoyed it :)
5 games on 1 screen! I had trouble keeping up with one at a time! Fun to play at 2 though! :)
The controls are what make this game so complex but it could be so much more fun with regular RTS controls! I like the graphics and the action of the game. It can get confusing at times. Good entry overall.
Nice game! Very unique! Loved the atmosphere and the story disconnected from reality. Felt like reading a nice horror book :)
Great game! Nice twist on the classic pong theme! Loved the graphics and music. Lots of fun at 2 players
Nice and challenging, if not frustrating... if not infuriating!!! lol loved it good job :)
Nice little game! At one point I was like: "wee I got this I shoot faster then anything" and then 5 super fat opponents spawned on me lol! Very fun to play, a bit repetitive. good job!
Nice game, I like the controls which feel very smooth and easy to play. It gets very hard fast but it's enjoyable. I felt like there was a bit too much on the screen after a while, it became hard to see.
Amazing visuals! Very hard until you remember who can kill whom after a couple of runs. No sounds / music?
Nice entry even though I encountered a few bugs. Reminded me of Blackthorne from the old days of Blizzard
Really tough game but the beautiful music builds the atmosphere and makes you want to find those hearts! The only downside I could see is that I would often get stuck while trying to fit through small corridors. A bit frustrating when you're running after your one true love lol! Great game though!
Perfect score for the mood. Nice and soothing music. The little games get a little repetitive but the quotes are always nice to read. Good job.
I find the idea very interesting. However I'm not sure that a fisheye effect has its best place in a space game where most of the gameplay rotates around a large space to be discovered. The narrowed field of view made it a bit hard to see where you were going. Anyways, perfect score on innovation. A little more gameplay would have been nice! Great job! :)
Amazing graphics and audio for 48h. The controls still need some work but it was funny nonetheless
I loved the concept! Became hard pretty quick as soon as the red cube was too high. Nice entry!
I think I broke my mouse buttons :)
Nice idea, lacks a bit of balance after a few minutes into the game where it becomes really easy to overpower the AI. Fun game!
In this kind of game / art, one really has to nail the narrative, which you did extremely well! The music was great, the characters very nice as well. Too bad you didn't go through with the entire story, it feels unfinished. Wonderful job though!
Interesting game.. I guess you kill people with your farts and end up canceling the meeting that way? It's missing some key elements to make it a fun game, but at least you produced something in less than 48h. One thing though, don't use your "YOU WON" screen as the game screenshot, we always love a surprise :)
Nice and polished. Super hard to kill the snowman. A few collision bugs (I got stuck in the ground quite a few times). Not very forgiving with 5 lives total :) but I actually enjoyed the challenge quite a bit! Nice audio. Pleasant graphics and good controls make it a nice platformer. Couldn't quite see how the theme fit though. Great job nevertheless!
One of the best music of this LD by far! Great song, goes perfectly with the bird game. The game is fairly simple, catchy and fun. I see how it could definetely be adapted to a tablet/phone. A couple of things could be improved: the font for score comes out really weird. Also a way to pause or read the instructions without having the game play would be a huge plus :) Great job
I wasn't able to create a snowman even though I had multiple snow balls. I tried just about everything lol.
Amazing game. Top theme contender for me. You nailed every category. Congratz!
Pretty good game. I liked the tile set you created. Couldn't beat the boss!
Took me a little while to get the grisp of it but I had a good laugh playing it with my wife. She hated the falling tetris blocks :) Great job :)
Loved the art! This could have really used some music!! I actually had fun going through a bunch of garbage lol. Great job
What a beautiful game! It's fast, dynamic, it's got punch and rhythm! You need to go rate some games and get some more feedback! This is a great game! I love the music, I love the art. Kudos to you!
Solid game. Wish there was a bit more management than crew disposal. I loved the graphics & audio.
Love the humor / audio :)
Controls were... a bit stiff... But hey, in case of a zombie attack, why get off the chair we're sitting on? :)
The game became pretty easy if you just stay in a corner and kill the entire world population that comes through :)
Made me smile, thanks! :)
Loved this game! Mixing TD with DonkeyKong type games is a wonderful idea. Music was fun! Graphics could have used a little polishing. Good job :)
Very fun and original. Loved the artwork. Too bad there wasn't some good tropico music :)
A nice game, quite difficult but with a very forgiving death. I was able to stay behind the last boss and just kill him easily. Missing some music!
Wonderful pinball game. I loved the graphics, even though I found the palette to be a bit shallow and I thought the big black box in the middle of the screen to display the score was kind of in the way... Simple sounds but the atmostphere of an old amiga pinball just came back to me within seconds of playing this :) Cheers
Nice entry, Mr. Molyneux!! :)
Loved the powers, the cute graphics and the sound. The UI could have used a bit more work as it was tough to have feedback to know who you were clicking on.
Great job!
Very cute! in the mood for xmas :)
Gets hard very fast, but I love the graphics and the music!
Excellent job
Very fun, fast-moving and dynamic little shooter. Well done. Very hard, couldn't get passed wave 3!
Wow I had a blast playing this! Reminded me of an old game called "Die By The Sword". I love the sound / music. Graphics were very fun and the chaos created by the controls made it just very fun to play. Nice work
This was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the audio feedback from my actions. Felt like a DJ for 2 min 04 secs :)
Fun little game. I loved the graphics and the music. A bit frustrated by the fact that you can't control your jump mid-air, but I guess it's that way in reality too lol :)
Good job
First of all, I really enjoed the music. Seemed oriental enough to go with the mood. Graphics were minimalist but nice looking. I didn't like the controls, movement was harsh and I died a lot in a dumb way... Otherwise nice atmosphere and puzzle :)
Loved the controls, animations and gameplay! Feels very polished. It gets hard fast enough to not feel repetitive. Some background music would have added a lot to the atmosphere. Very cool entry!
This is a pure gem. Ship it on the app store / android store before someone else does! Lovely animations, simple yet clever puzzles, great execution. I hope you end up in the top 20 so that more people can play this. Congrats!
Just wow...
This is a great idea, loved the pinball mechanism. The game had a bit of an rubberband lag which sometimes made it hard to hit the ball. Great entry overall!
Very cool little FPS, can't believe you guys did this in only 72 hours. Very impressive animations and graphics. Would have loved some music!
I just loved the sounds on this. Very fun to play even if it was a bit too easy. Great job
Cool physics for 3h. You should keep going and work on some gameplay, I think this has potential.
That was interesting! I loved the audio, was that generated? Great mood, missing some elements of fun.
I just loved this game. Missing a highscore to give it some replay perspective. I love the art style and the way that the plant is handled. Beautiful job!
Was it GladOs behind that game? Loved the humor and the concept. Very cool!
Super hard! Loved it!! My only complaint was that the keys were so far from each other in each game (which I assume was done on purpose!!) Great usage of the theme, very fun!!
There are a couple of things that I loved about this game. First, the music is just plain awesome!! Then the actual story with the personages.. So tricky to get right in 2-3 days but I loved what you guys did with the kids who grow up, the arcade getting old, etc. there's some sort of very familiar warm feeling about playing those old games :) The game with the dog in itself felt like it was a bit too simple and repetitive. Other than that, I just loved this. Thanks!
Super original concept mixed with very fun action! The fact that you can kill your own units is genius and makes the game very fun and challenging. Great job!
This is such a brilliant concept, I just wished you had time to do a bit more as there is only so much you can do with the 3 available tools. Perfect for the theme. Missing music and sound.
Perfect score on the mood, graphics and audio for me. The controls made the game tough to enjoy fully, which is a shame because the rest was just awesome!
Most polished game I have seen so far! Amazing sound and graphics. Great usage of the theme, very fun. Could have used a bit more indications on how to play. Cheers!
Very fun game!! Hard to juggle between shooting and turning, but it makes a great usage of the theme to have a fun gameplay!! Simple but effective graphics, music loop a bit too short. Great game overall
Why does this have no comment/reviews yet?? This has some of the best music of this LD. I loved the concept, though it's a bit hard to master the rotation speed when the light suddenly pops on another side and you have to rotate really fast. Also the controls seemed backwards for me, it would be nice to have the option to switch them. Graphics were simple but effective and smooth. I thought this was a great game!
This looks awesome, do you have a web build by any chance?
This was such an impressive game for a compo!! Lovd the graphics, amazing music, quite challenging as soon as you have multipl flowers. Great job!!
I only had a single "Upgrade the stockpile question"
One of my favorite entries so far. Simple and addictive. The 2 mechanics and power work wonders. Love the graphics, the FX and the sound. Great job!!
This is a cool puzzle idea, great use of the theme! It was kind of hard to figure out how the key binding worked. Some soothing music would have been cool as well :) Great job
Great graphics! The sound loop was a bit short! Very challenging! I hated that cactus at more than one moment lol!! Also a bit of an issue with stuttering? Otherwise it's a really fun little platformer. Good job!
This was amazing, perfect across the board.
Loved 2048. Loved this.
I think I just filled the entire universe with my bullets lol! Loved the game, animations and FX were super fluid even though I had so many things on screen. Music was pretty good!! Bonus points for the background story and usage of the theme. My only concern is that things start to get hard to distinguish after a while. Wonderful job otherwise!
That was pretty cool! I loved the backstory though the intro seemed a tiny bit long! Some music would have helped! The soccer mechanic work great with 2 buttons once figured out :)
Very cool concept with some very fun gameplay potential. I died a couple of times because there was no possible match, but with some nice music, a timer that reduces the amount of time you can pick the "right" enzyme amongst 2 as you go, this can make for a very cool entry. Nice job
Very fun arcade game! The intro was a big plus. Best part was the difficulty. Not too easy, very challenging but not impossible or frustrating. Very cool!
By far one of the best games of this competition. Love the soothing mood, the amazing music and the great graphics. Very cool!!
Very simple and yet so fun I wish I had thought if that mechanic. Perfect usage if the theme, amazing artwork... A score almost full of stars for me!!
Felt like an unfinished product with some nice potential. I was hoping things would get faster and more interesting after a few minutes of gameplay.
I just loved the music and the art. You are very talented!! The gameplay was really fun, though in my game the cooks seemed to be stuck near the top... Perfect for me to get fat!!! :) Great job!!
Very cool game! Loved the graphics and sound, loved the xmas mood! Very cool usage of the theme! I kept dying when there was a single platform in the middle, but I was still able to get some nice scores. Great game!
Fun little game!! Awesome graphics and animations! Gets quite tricky to pick up every item, ended up running into other pigs a lot of the time. Very cool!
Loved the simple graphics and gameplay. Nice level generation as well. I scored 37K. Great usage of the theme! My only concern is that once you go fast enough, you realize that the 5 different placeholders are a bit too close to each other and it can be hard to know if you're going to hit a leaf or if you are on the right lane to avoid it. Great job overall
Very cool and tough game! Lovely art and level concepts
Wow this is like the perfect mix of Doodle Jump and Awesome MeatBoy!! Super hard, I love the mechanics! I love the effect when the laser is shot. Sometimes I can get stuck in a corner, not sure if it's a feature or a bug? :) Really misses some good old arcade sound and music. Great job!
Loved the mood, really nice graphics and sound. Innovative gameplay (though there are a couple of other games in this LD that use the same concept!). Missing an end or some sort of score for progression. Great job overall!
On my first gameplay I just started killing as many aliens as possible... And then I read the instructions :) Congrats on making a one-button game lol. Pretty fun!! and challenging once I actually tried to preserve the little men! Very original entry. Nice job
omg that lady is so well done I hated getting caught by her!! :) I wasn't sure what the button to stop was for, as I always tried to jump and go full boost to prevent dying from dusty grandma! :) Nice game!
I liked this entry. A nice variation of flappy bird which ended up being super challenging! The hitboxes are pretty unforgiving but this actually gets to be super fun when competing with someone to get as many points as possible. I was able to go through 11 candy bars :) Great game!
This was a really cool idea. Loved the pixel art, just wished there was a 3rd key to turn right... but then again I wouldn't put 5 stars in theme lol. Great job, love the grahpics. Missing some music!!
Amazing graphics and fx. Very fun game mechanics, nice usage of the theme. Great job overall
I didn't think it was possible to get a good jumping and moving mechanism but your take on it was super smart! It makes the game quite unique and super challenging (those purple monsters are super hard to pass!). Perfect for the themes. My only issue was the sound made when a seed was collected. You might want to decrease its volume by a bit :)
Awesome job!
Well I actually really liked the concept of gliding that you brought in. Made the game really fun, even though there were a few bugs here and there (I only played the 48h version). Nice simple graphics, too bad you didn't get enough time to polish it a bit more. Good job though!!
Very fun and solid game. My 6 year old loved it as well! :)
This is very impressive if you only did it in a fraction of the time! The character animations are flawless and the gameplay is quite polished. The music went well with the mood. I did fall a bunch of times because it was sometimes hard to see where I would land. Great job otherwise!
Very cool game, gets pretty hard as you climb up and the view gets reduced. A bug allows you to just stay in place while preparing to jump, making you invincible while the ennemies go up. Animations were amazing. Music would have been nice :)
Hilarious! :)
8 hours only? wow this is purely amazing! Great music, superb animations, wonderful gameboy feel, super challenging.. everything is there, I can't wait to see what you come up with when you have more time! Cheers
As a huge fan of NES Punch Out, I couldn't help but smile when I saw your entry! I think you did a great job with only 2 buttons!! It took me some time to get used to it but once I got it down, it was pretty cool to dodge and supercharge hit the opponent. Overall very fun with great graphics. Good job!
Nice game! Loved the star wars reference! Very fun to play
I had a hard time with the music, I thought that the loop was too short for a puzzle game. Other than that, the game is really awesome. Simple puzzles added with the stress of darkness and monsters make a great combo. Cheers!
This is just awesome!!
Perfect usage of the themes. Loved the particle effects, gameplay was very fun though it sometimes had bugs with collision boxes I think? Great job overall
Great game! Very unforgiving hit boxes :) lived the artwork. Great job
Thanks for the checkpoints, it was a nice addition which made the hard hitbox issues much more pleasant. Pretty cool guitar sound but the loop was a bit short. The rest was pretty good for a first entry!
That was pretty spooky!! Loved the mood, wished there was a bit more depth or some sort of ending.
Very cool gameplay. Wish the game was a bit longer and had other obstacles than the lava. Great entry!!
max points for humor, very cool arcade game. ctrl wasn't the best key to shoot as ctrl+arrow switches desktop on mac :) awesome gameplay though
Really awesome game!! Nice to see a successful html5 export using unreal engine. The sound/music was great, the graphics/animations were awesome. A bit repetitive but isn't made to be played for hours either :) I got to 31K points
Very fun little game which uses the 2 button theme perfectly. Gets super hard quickly as the balloon doesn't move very fast. Love it!
Well that was plain awesome! Loved the graphics, the music even more! It's a cloned idea but the execution is really original. My only concern was that it was a bit too hard to swallow other companies.
Well that was quite unique! :) God do I hate growing old lol
Great job!
lol when launching the game I thought: wtf are those controls... and then I played with my wife and we laughed for a good 15 mins. In the end we had more fun hammering those 2 keys than anything else. Awesome! Music would have been cool. Single player lacked a bit of depth IMO. Great job overall
As a huge fan of prison architect I instantly loved the intro. Great humor, loved the pixel art. Missing music and sound :( But then I started playing and after a minute got a good hold of the controls. Love what you did with the theme. Fun little game, impressive for 48h! :)
I feel like this could have been the best game of this LD if you guys had a little bit more time to fix the bugs!! Graphics were amazing. Loved the music, sounds and animations. Issues with the player sprite. Wonderful gameplay.
This is a lot of fun! I love the physics and the take on the theme. Reminded me of those arcade machines where you lose 95% of the time!! (God that whale was so hard to grab lol). Also good job on making it non-repetitive as the crane changes throughout the gameplay. Great job!
I had no issue running the game! (firefox on macos) Very fun strategic gameplay mixed with very cute graphics and awesome music. Great job!
I loved the graphics and the minimalist approach. Speeding up on each flower made it really fun after a couple of flowers in a row. My main concern was that the sensitivity on the keys was too high and it made it hard to avoid the obstacle. Also, a nice soothing harp music would have been awesome! :) Great job overall
Loved the mood and the music. Perfect usage of the theme, very cool game!!
As I started playing and becoming overtaken by the ennemies I just loved the mood a la FTL. It becomes super hard quite quickly but I actually thought it played a good part in feeling invaded by the ennemy :) What I thought was lacking was some particle effects and music... Great job!
Couldn't stop playing this game until I finished it! Awesome concept, very fun to play! Great job and great use of the theme! :)
Very cool and addictive!! Great graphics! A bit long to get started, but once you have a couple of stuff in the farm it's hard to keep up!! :) Great job
Very cool and very hard!! Loved the music and gameplay concept!! Couldn't get passed medium. Would work wonders as a mobile game! Great job
First playthrough: let's put it on easy to see what this is about... Meh simple enough, let's start again in Hard... OMG this is crazy why can't I do this!?!?! I finally got it after 20 mins of gameplay!! It was either that or going crazy lol!! Great job, simple and very addictive! :) Missing music and good sound. Simple graphics were really cool though maybe some particle effects could have given a nice effect. Great job! :)
Amazing mood. I loved the idea. Simple graphics but very fun gameplay! Felt a bit slow at times, loved the upgrades and game progression. Great job!
Very nice minimalist game that blends perfectly two game types together to fit the theme. Love the retro art style.
Really nice looking exit-the-room game. Stressful to find the last remaining keycard, but I finlly found it after my 3rd try :) Ticking sound didn't bother me. Having the remaining time at different places made it really cool. Nice entry!
Got my chocolate :)
Great entry, I really loved reading through the setting. That crisp font and those bright colors make each level transition a pleasure to see. The gameplay was a bit repetitive and sometimes it was taking a long time to push a wall against another last-survivor. Otherwise, loved the humor, nice graphics, lovely music. Great game overall :)
Is there any way you could do a windows or macos build? I'd love to try it out
Wonderful take on the Tetris theme. Loved the music and the graphics. Initially, moving up and down floors was pretty tedious but I ended up getting the hang of it after a while. Wish there was some sort of ending after a certain score. Great job :)
This game is so good in so many ways... It's challenging and rewarding, it's fun and engaging with an awesome soundtrack. Graphics are good, gameplay is super original and very well crafter. Bravo
Just loved the concept and audio of your game. It quickly becomes super hard especially when the path changes shape and messes up your mind! I lasted for 1m14s and got lucky at some point. Became nearly impossible towards the end, but I think that's the idea :) Great job
haha well it's a good first entry! it'll be nice to compare with your future entries to come! nice smooth scrolling, I had fun pestering the guy's face until I realized I wasn't actually good, but actually invincible :)
Great job on your first entry!
Nice entry! I like how the game is set up and the stress provoked by a horde of zombies slamming doors. Sounds were a bit repetitive, but the animation and graphics were quite good. The turret was a bit overpowered, but perhaps it's because I got it early in the game...
I got stuck on lvl 8 as one of the zombies outside was stuck.. Couldn't do much, other than go outside and die... alone... lol
Great job
Very cool little game. Tough to keep a manageable size, I really like the concept of discovering the color at the last moment. It would be really interesting to see what you come up with with more than 2 colors, maybe some bonus spheres or something. Good job
Amazing art, I loved the idea of making a breaking bad themed game. Great story and really good idea on playing with a mini-game key-presses + clickathon as well. My only feedback is that sometimes you don't get feedback on how well you did your actions. Like I could press the wrong keys I wouldn't even know. Anyhow, it was super fun to play :)
Pretty cool game! I loved the top-down view and the fast-paced action which reminded me of Hotline Miami. The game is pretty easy once you get the gun... Somehow my fists were more accurate than the chainsaw :) My only real complaint is the main music composed of just a loop of 8-9 notes... The loop is too short and the sound gets on your nerves, or drives you crazy to the extent that you become a zombie... Wait....... :)
Great job overall!
Cool concept, I quite enjoyed going back and forth trying to maximize the amount of people that could fit into the elevator, hoping people would stack up like a chinese subway on rushhour. Wasn't able to see a score so I couldn't quite know how well I did in my second run. Great little concept, you should take it further with some smooth jazz music :)
Really awesome entry, I love the story and the graphics. Music was very nice as well. You are super talented in all domains of game making: great story, superb graphics, etc. Well done!
Nice game, very original mechanics! The controls were a bit tough but whenever I was able to connect when and where I wanted, it was very satisfactory :) If you had more time you could add some impact effect, perhaps some particles to make that moment a bit more crisp. Nice game overall :)
Really neat entry!! The concept is very simple and yet it's super fun and enjoyable. Loved the fact that you implemented a shop and powerups, sometimes I wish the cubes could move a little faster into my visor so that they can be thrown correctly. Simple sounds and music but effective. Great job!
Really fun entry, it felt like I was playing the Sims from back in the day. Too bad you can't go back in the catalogue to plan your purchases better. I love the contept of putting everything that you bought in one room. Would have loved some music!
haha well 5 stars for innovation, I've never seen so many different unrelated things combined into one game. That was actually quite an enjoyable little arcade/platformer game. Loved the music and fast gameplay.
One of the best entries I've played so far. Being a huge tetris fan growing up, I just loved this entry. Everything is just really good... Graphics, music, the stressful atmosphere and challenging gameplay. Just really really good overall. Cheers!
Loved the art style in this. I too was stuck at the night sky, I literally tried the clock on every hour... Finally ended up exiting by clicking the painting. Really nice atmosphere. Good job
Nice little arcade game that would be a lot of fun on a mobile device! I like the concept of chaining exposiong with multiplier combos for more points, that's very innovative. Gameplay becomes super hard very fast and it's pretty unforgiving, but overall I thought it was a great small action game. Good job!
Really fun little arcade game! I often wished that I could jump with the Up arrow, making it easier to jump/attack at the same time. Loved the graphics, addictive music and original idea. Game became a bit repetitive after 150 points, was hoping to see more monsters. Very solid entry otherwise! :)
Pretty cool little arcade game! I quickly realized on my first run that I better save my bullets and grenades lol
Game becomes super hard quickly in the second level, but I like the idea of powerups, leveling, etc. Well executed. The only thing that really bothered me was to not have a mouse cursor to show me where I was aiming... Other than that it was quite well executed. Cheers
Pretty cool game, I like the variety in the rooms. It was pretty fun to explore as many things as possible. Too bad you didn't get to finish it with all the rooms!
Well, I just wish there were more levels to play :) Because this has a lot of potential! I love the animations and the concept of using fans to navigate through the puzzle. Begs to be continued after this jam :)
My wife would really hate that game :) Really liked the execution, especially the graphics and spider animations as they come crawling from everywhere. Also the idea of making the lights dim throughout time makes it even spookier. I guess the game just needs a bit more content, perhaps an ending, or maybe levels (night 1, night 2, etc.) or different strategies to make it a bit less repetitive.
Really cool job for 48h though
Really cool concept. Loved the fact that objects were destructible when moved with a lot of force, loved also the concept with rewindable time. Graphics were pretty simple but very straightforward for the game. One thing I would have done is limit the # of bombs the player can place so that there is a bit more strategy involved in making the highest score. Cheers
Pretty unforgiving platformer, I like hardcore :) Nice selection of levels, they all made me want to kill myself lol. Simple sounds, very good controls. I wasn't quite sure when I could get out, seems like I didn't always have to pick up all the loot to get free. Really fun overall
Really cool entry! I absolutely loved the graphics, the music and the level loading where parts are shuffled together. Gameplay was pretty fun at 3 coop, it's super rare in LD. My suggestion would be to get some feedback on when it's your turn (I got skipped a couple of times while looking at some game details) and also making sure the text is rotated to the player's view to make it easier to read. Other than that, top notch :)
As a huge fan of Papers Please!, I really enjoyed your game! Love the twist on editing the paper to make the dystopian government look good. Great music, wonderful mood as well.
My only downside was that it was hard to get feedback on whether I did something right or wrong when shipping the papers throughout the game (though the score at the end gives you that). Also some of the options were blue on transparent background and it was hard to read what I was picking. Too bad you can't change a choice either.
Overall, I really loved your game and the narrative it came with it.
Great job.
(this post was NOT edited by a journalist of Oceania... Or was it... :)
Super nice painting, I actually quite enjoyed the dialogues and was wondering if I was actually going to make it or not... Would have loved a bit of music to go with it, but actually the beeping of the machine just makes the whole atmosphere on its own so it's probably better that way. Good job
Really solid entry in the TD world. Loved the fact that you had to deal with the resource management by getting the right item to produce music while thinking about which towers to build and where.
Small downside is that all my towers would usually fire up at the same time at the same target, wasting lots of ammo. Lovely graphics and music.
Great job
really cool game for 5-6h. Not sure if you composed the music within that timeframe as well, but if you did it's completely amazing!! Otherwise simple gameplay, impressive for 6h of programming. It just takes a very long time to start: I could just jump over the ennemies as soon as they fell until I reached about 20 points (4-5 min into the game) so the challenge only started late.
Great job otherwise!
Pretty good game! Felt like a tamagochi on coke where I had to constantly move between the objects to stay alive. It took me a couple of tries to figure out where all the elements were, but once I got the hang of it, it was actually quite fun! Great little concept
@PeachTreeOath: Thanks!!
@Moritz: I had a couple of people test it on Mac/Chrome... However it's pretty big so it takes a while to load...
@TrampolineTales: Thanks for the feedback! I should probably reduce the head movement. Otherwise clues are pretty easy to find, they're all pretty big objects scattered throughout the apartment. [spoiler alert]: But there's a twist... Just look for clues in the bathroom once you have about 7-8 clues...
Awesome short little game, loved the humor and graphics! Still not sure how I can wipe myself without using all the toilet paper but I did manage to not crap my pants and look presentable. I like the adrenaline caused by the timing bar coming down real fast. Dialogs were funny and big oscar-winning sound for the ultimate moment when it all goes down like a bad case of expired guacamole!
Cheers
super fun action-platformer, reminded me of the original mario games where you'd play 1v1 in a similar room with turtle shells and ennemies. Loved the fluid animations and difficulty. Got to 17 :) Well done!
Nice mood and melancolic atmosphere. I like the setting of the story, being stuck in the prison and just facing your own memories. Sometimes the grammar was a bit off, but it wasn't unsettling. Pretty good textual game overall, backed by some simple nice art. Cheers
SUCCSS!! :)
well I really like the take on the TD theme. I think your pathfinding algos are quite amazing. Everything was very fluid and I think the only thing I missed was some clarity on the units as I had a tendency to kinda put them all together and shoot at whatever was the strongest. Nice graphics, sounds were a bit repetitive when too many units were shooting. Great entry!
Such an awesome game.. Love the subtle details like the screen shake on death/impact, the way that rooms shift from one shape to another. Everything is very fluid, the player is handled just as well as in super meat boy. Levels are challenging and rewarding. Nice twist at the end. Amazing job overall.
Very solid entry. Loved the simple character animations and everyone was distinct enough that it made it easy to remember who was what and what they were going to do. I wasn't able to get more than 5 survivors though! I'm probably missing something...
Great use of the theme, love the werewolves card game reference. Really good job overall
Wow I loved your entry!! I'm a huge fan of Hotline Miami and this brought me right back, along with a super "funny" and original storyboard. Top notch graphics, hate the shotgun dad, super fun to complete :)
Awesome job
Hey by the way, how did you do all those cartoonish drawings during the intro? Are you using a tablet and/or any other tool?
I just loved the cartoony graphics/style, thanks for providing a timelapse as well. Nice little puzzle! I was stuck at one point until I figured out I just needed to sleep again :) I thought the rope would be the end of me lol
Really great job
I just love the polish of the animations and the way that things shift from one shape to another. I love the concept of infinite repetitive items and the feedback you get when you solve one piece of the puzzle.
Everything ran fine on my machine, but I have a good video card so I can't speak for others. Otherwise, I also loved the mood and while the music was a bit repetitive, everything felt very cohesive and super polished.
On the downside, I had a bunch of collision issues and sometimes things were a bit odd...
Otherwise, full stars ahead, Cheers :)
Amazing game on all levels, I had thought of doing something similar as well. The execution was perfect. Loved the audio and the graphics. Can't believe you did this in 48h, such an awesome entry!
FREEDOM!! Wow I loved this little game. Made me think of a perfect mix of Lemmings and Castlevania :) Initially thought the concept was quite simple, until it evolved with the moving platform, and then the final boss. Really well executed, cute little graphics, sounds were a bit ennoying in the long run and I miss some music. The rest was very well crafted. A small bug allowing to jump multiple times, but the ennemies were fun to kill, lots of action and the platformer worked really well. Really good entry!
Well I've always wanted to be a mushroom grower :) After having read the comments I went through the help file to understand what to do. You should specify in the description the contents of Help.txt as it's not too long. The game was quite long once you understand the mechanics, but I like the concept of growing things to survive VS a shrinking screen trying to kill you :)
Good job overall
Really cool and cute little game! I love the graphics and the palette you used. The difficulty ramped up quickly, and I think I ended up using mostly the autoaim gun mode and I ended up running out of bullets and dying alone on my last remaining patch of slimy grass...
Controls are nifty and the difficulty ramps up nicely. I ended up surviving for 152 secs on my 2nd run through... Which is probably an awful score lol :)
Great job!
Cool environment, too bad I don't have a VR headset! :( This makes an awesome base for a survival/horror game though. I'd love to see what you make out of it!
Wow a full fledge FTL clone in 48h, I'm baffled! So many nice finishing touches this feels like a complete game that could be sold on Steam. Seriously this is so cool. I tried a couple of different strategies and made it almost to the last chapter. I kept losing my weapons at the end and not being able to do much without them.
I love the theme song, the whole atmosphere, the graphics and gameplay. One of my favorite entries so far.
What a fun little game! I love the take on the theme, and the execution is super well done. The AI is pretty smart and makes you think twice about your next move. I love the retro feel to the game as well.
Great execution, awesome job!
@tontonpizza: I am :)
@ian-kettlewell thanks for reporting the bug! I last-minute modified my code and broke the scene reset... duh!
@negativegeforce: fixed!
@ossi: fixed the restart bug...
@leave yeah the car needs to be stopped to be able to get out, but it's not very polished.
@vekstr yeah that's the main bug in the game. If you're too slow customers who have lined up ask you to park their cars after the current time. Didn't see it before I published it. Controls definitely need some tuning. I was aiming at some GTA 1 style but ran out of time to polish that part. Thanks for playing it though!
This is the best entry I've played so far. Flawless, could easily be a commercial game. From the voice acting to the graphics, music and gameplay... Just wow, awesome job guys! I'm baffled that this could be done during LD.
That was pretty cool! I love the diea and the graphics. The music was quite cute too. I did run into some issues while trying to move the food towards the table and it would rotate my phase 180 degrees in the other side. Made it a bit tricky to make the right hamburger. Other than that I really enjoyed your game!
Lol well that was super fun! I actually felt like I was reliving my real life inside this game (you're welcome amazon stocks!!) Loved the simple atmosphere, ordering a bunch of boxes of every size, and using my real-life technical hacking skills to perform the most challenging technical tasks :)
Great job!
Such an awesome and sweet little game! Loved the graphics and mood (Did you guys make that music as well?) Loved the concept and I had a lot of fun trying to triage things on shelves while surviving the customer rush. Super fun to play, great execution. Awesome job!
This was pretty cool! I had a few run throughs with different strategies and realized that usually it's not worth picking up the smaller cheaper items. I love the game progression and there was always the thrill of finding something to sell for 4K :)
Now I did find some interesting thing. It seems that everything is generated on the fly, and sometimes within the same planet you can buy and sell the same item and make free money out of it. I ended up making quite a bit by being a bit lucky.
I wish this game went a bit further in keeping track of what planets offer and demand to create a real space economy. This could be really awesome!
Great job
That was really cool! First of all hats off to an original setting, thanks for putting together a game intro (most games just jump right in). I love the concept, although I found it a bit repetitive towards the end while trying to get the painting. I also love the graphics and animations. The music was pretty nice and soothing, it went well with the game. Overall great job!!
@furiouswitch I'm so dumb... Sorry I must have been listening to Spotify at the same time, which I usually turn off when I play some LD games. Can't remember what I was listening to, (perhaps this): [https://open.spotify.com/user/spotify/playlist/37i9dQZF1DX3PIPIT6lEg5?si=s4aPXmvASCCI6AKVvhBDKQ]
I did beat the genie though (against all odds!) :)
I think that the repetitive aspect probably came from the fact that I took too long in getting the painting, which you are right makes the pace much better if you get it early.
Anyways great job! :)
Loved the dodge to be able to escape bullets. I found it hard to know where I was using the vacuum. Some audio would have been a nice addition. Pretty cool game!
PS: I found a bug while trying to run the game at a native resolution full screen and had to lower the resolution to window 1024x768.
Neat entry!
Very cool little puzzle! The voice acting was a nice treat on top of well designed small levels which increase in difficulty really well. Those became quite challenging and rewarding when finished. Overall a really cool entry!
Holy crap what a tense mood!! WELL HOW THE HELL DO I GET OUT!!! AAAAH!!! It was like Stranger things meet StarWars Trash scene lol
Loved the audio, loved the raw atmosphere, and loved the gameplay. The walls closing in, the creepy writings on the wall... Maybe you should go see a psychiatrist? :)
Great job I loved it!!
Cool little space shooter with a nice take on the theme! The controls and graphics were fluid! I have to admit you had me a bit worried with your cover art work :) I really enjoyed the fact that there are multiple levels, a volume configuration screen and a nice progression. Would be awesome with some sort of storyline background. Music was pretty cool too (Was it generated?)
Great job overall!
Pretty cool and original tower building game! I went all the way to 150m, it looks like there is no end? I tried to get my gas elements to fall on the cars waaay down below which was super fun.
Made me think of SimCopter. Just missing some sort of objective.
Great job!
That was a fun little game, actually a lot more challenging than it appears as you end up having to try and remember how things have been stacked as you end up filling up your room with different stacks of boxes. It's a nice mix of memory and space management, which fits perfectly with the theme. The audio was OK, and the controls sometimes left me a bit frustrated... But overall this was a pretty solid entry!
First of all, hats off to your writing. I really enjoyed the fantasy setting and the dark mood that came with every action. I did a few run through to try different options and enjoyed talking to Lorena best :)
There were a few quacks (I think I could never have the phone do anything), but overall it was short and sweet, although quite depressing as I was hoping there was a way out of the Mow!
Great job!
I scored 18 points after a couple of run throughs! Got a bit lucky :)
I like the concept, brings me back to the days of Star Wars Compacting trash!
The music was a bit redundant and the player moved a bit fast, but overall I love the arcade feel to it and there's always the thrill of trying to go get that extra bullet near the wall that's already moving fast.
Great job!
When I started playing your game my initial thought was: "wow that's the 3rd person making a game about windows space running out." Then your theme music started playing and I was like: "OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING"
Loved the little shooter, very fluid and fun to play, although losing brought back the worst memories of windows 95 dying on me lol
Great entry, I loved it!
Very cool graphics and animations! Love the take on the theme, and the level progression. I didn't feel like I had to dodge much, but finding the briefcase was really a nice treat :)
Awesome job overall!
This was such an amazing and fun entry! Loved the concept, loved the graphics and sound. Execution was super good as well. I would sometimes get frustrated at the customers as I couldn't get some people out the bus lol
Super fun!
First of all, I think the graphics are awesome. I love this minimalist cubic world where the colors are well picked. Huge hats off to the background city atmosphere which really added to the mood of the frantic food truck kitchen. Awesome job on making all those models and code in such a small period of time.
I loved the concept of serving hotdogs in a limited space. It's a great take on the theme and the only thing I didn't understand at first was that I needed to hold the order in my hands so that it could be handed out. It took me a minute but after that I started again and made over $50. I started to get the hang of it and pre-prepared a bunch of dogs in advance, it was really fun :)
Perhaps 2 small things which could be improved: - Some background music would be awesome! A little New York theme or something :) - The sound when putting things down is way too loud compared to the other sounds... I felt like my microwaves were exploding every time!
Overall a fantastic entry, great job!
A really cool concept which begs to be pursued in depth: very original concept where we have to either grow or shrink to fit inside places and go through the puzzle. I would have loved snappier controls as the intent is to barely go through specific areas.
Music and sound were OK, I'd love to see where you take this next.
Really cool little game! Awesome graphics and music. I would have loved to be able to play full screen as it was pretty small on my 4K monitor.
The game is quite hard! I was quickly overwhelmed from the first levels...
However I love the atmosphere and art style, reminds me of the oldschool battleaxe games I used to play on the arcade.
Really cool entry, great job!
Not too sure what to do here, but it kinda reminded me of this millionnaire tycoon click-game where you have to be strategic what you buy and it auto generates more income to then buy more things. I went up to the 4 digit income in your game but I still wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing...
Seems like this could be a fun game though!
Love the 3d puzzle dungeon style. Great art and it ran smoothly on my computer. Controls were a bit rough as I often ended up walking on an extra step in front of the switch and had to restart the level.
Great concept, would have loved to hear some audio on top of that.
Great job!
Super original! I did 32K before losing. Love the mood with the really cool music. I feel like a bit more feedback whenever you hit a node would have made it perfect. Awesome little gem here!
While playing your game I felt like I was playing those arcade games with the Claw where you have to pixel-perfect aim your shot so that things come down perfectly! Really original concept, I did feel a bit godlike building a city the way my 1 year old would! Somehow I tried different strategies and couldn't get passed 5m of height, but was able to get 72 adults so that's something seeing they had about 14 skyscrapers to share :)
The music was OK but a bit redundant. I was a bit confused by which buildings I was supposed to invest in... And really sad when I was about to place the perfect building but it bounced off a little edge and ended up in the nether...
Really cool entry, great job!
This is quite an original concept! At first I'll admit I was lost because I thought we had to make real english words and I couldn't figure out how to make words with any path leading to the space bar...
Then I finally got the concept and started typing as fast as I could :)
A few things I really liked: - The game has a nice progression, it starts off slow to teach the player how to play. Then it gains a great rhythm and adds some pressure to type letters correctly. At the end, things seemed to slow down a bit until the last letters. - I like the attention to detail: the words that make a cool message on the right handside, the final screen with the space bars appearing on top of each other, etc. - I found it challenging but rewarding as I was able to sometimes type my way through a bunch of letters super fast and get a bunch of blocks out of the way.
A few things which I think would have added even more: - Some background music would definitely make it more relaxing or stressful :) - Keeping the pace steady and increasing until the end. I found the game a bit too easy and finished it on the first try.
And if you have more time... POWER UPS :D
Great job!
Super fun little platformer, actually a lot more challenging than I initially thought. I wonder if the leg animation doesn't come in the way of being able to correctly predict where the player will land.
Anyhow, loved the simplistic art and controls were really great! Music was redundant...
Great job!
Hey I was able to download the game but it gets stuck on the title screen. Let me know when you fix it, I'd love to try it again.
That was pretty cool, I don't think I ever played a game like this before, although I love to discover how rare items are when playing RPGs. I guess I wasn't sure if there was any value in taking some of the cheap books? I ended up taking blues and greens most of the time to get the best high scores and it usually worked even through a couple of run throughs. I really loved some of the book titles.
I feel like this could have been much more with a bit more time! Good job
Would you be able to post a link to the deployed game? All I see is a github repo and I'm not sure how to get this started. Thanks!
Great story-telling game! I really got into it! I loved the parts when I had to hurry to make choices with countdowns which actually had an impact (like getting in the car crash, etc.) I sometimes wish that there were different options than the ones proposed but I really really loved the ending.
Great job!
Really cool little game shooter with a nice progression between levels! I love how fluid the whole game is, and it was super fun to upgrade my ship and go after the treasures of space. I would have loved to be able to shop in peace without being shot at but that added to the fun of the game.
Overall a little music would have made it even more awesomer. Great job!
Love the tetris twist with this take on the theme. Really clever idea, and I felt like the game was fun and challenging! Loved the added powerups, and felt pretty good when clearing a bunch of lines at the same time. Overall it was really cool! Would have loved a defrag-tetris music theme!
This is like South Park meets Grave Tycoon! I love the concept and the take on the theme. Graphics were simple but charming, the sounds could have been better. I was hoping to run into someone who ended up still being alive as I threw him in a grave but it never happened :) I had a couple of play through to try to upgrade graves, I guess it's a bit hard to really undersatnd the incentives of one grave compared to the other.
Pretty fun little game overall!
@carlos-giraldo are we the only 2 parking games in this JAM? :) That's surprisingly low!!
Anyways I love what you did, controlling the cars is so smooth and realistic. The gameplay is super fun and I love the graphics, the objectives are super clear. Man, this is really great!
Awesome job (Except for originality lol)
Man do I love the graphics and animations in this game! The jumping part was quite tricky, and it got quite stressful towards the end!!
Perfect usage of the theme. Music was a bit redundant. The water, props and player were just so awesome.
One of the best entries out there!
A little slow to start but gets pretty fun trying to upgrade the right things, and seeing all this poop disappear. I kinda felt bad the first time I went from 4 cats to 3 cats but I've always been a terrible pet sitter lol. I did end up with something like 15 huge cats who pooped all over the place and I felt overwhelmed until I upgraded to the Roomba 5000 and then felt at peace again.
Pretty fun overall! :)
Nice little platformer, I didn't run into issues until the very end with the red key. Otherwise the only complaint is that I had to keep another tab with the instructions to remember how to use the newly gained abilities. Would have been awesome to also add that inline in the game. Good job!
This was by far one of my favorite compo entries this entire jam. Also loving the fact that you just plain wrote to the canvas without using a library like phaser. There's such a huge amount of content for 48h, all the audio that improves over time, all the graphics that get better. Love the gameplay, love the screenshake making it harder. Played it twice fully and paid off debt within 12 days the second run through. Really mindblowing entry altogether!
That's a pretty cool demo! Love the smoothness in the 3d animation! Gameplay was quite minimalist but definitely fits the theme well :) Great job!
Such an awesome little game. I loved the controls and gameplay. I made the mistake several times to eject when I didn't mean to and lost my main ship, it's too bad that it disappears. Lovely little music and great graphics. Overall a very cool entry, great job!!
Very cool game and super hard, I loved it!! Butter smooth animations and you can definitely feel the custom engine behind it. Really awesome to see so much work done in just 48h. Awesome job!
@benjamin I was hoping to see another entry from you and once again I was not disappointed! I'm amazed at what you can accomplish in PICO-8. The game is super fluid and really fun to play! It has a nice balance of difficulty and fits the theme perfectly. Love the graphics, particle and screen effects. Awesome job overall once again!
All 5s from me. A mindblowing game for a compo entry. I'm just amazed at the game you created. Everything is so perfect, polished and fun!! I'm expecting you to finish in the top 5.
Really cool demo / concept! Is it possible to get to the very top of the church's highest tower? Loved to glide all over and find new items. Awesome art for a game jam, pretty moody music as well! The only thing I would work on is the camera rotation limits, making it sometimes hard to properly orient the character. Awesome job otherwise!
@lomt1k thanks!
@walaber @ixchow thanks for the info, I must have mistyped the URL :\
@bootygangdisciple yeah that was on my todo-list and I didn't get enough time to fix it. Note that you can also use A and D to move to make this a bit easier. Thanks for the feedback!
@bobothegreat thank you so much, super glad you liked it :)
@justinooncx congrats! I'm super happy to see it's beatable. I tend to always make my games too hard...
I completely agree with your statement, pixel art isn't really the best option for point/click adventures. I unfortunately only learned the lesson throughout the jam and it was too late to go back... Lesson learned though! :) Thanks for playing!
@tasakasama yeah I wish I was a better artist to make those pixels smaller :) Thanks for playing!
@eranot for sure :) thanks for playing!
@locomule glad you liked it!!
@heartclaw Thanks!! I'm glad it didn't turn out too cheesy :)
@thevideogamester It is :) good catch!
@daniiln that's ok I'm a terrible artist :)
@amastryukov that's an awesome feedback! The answer is quite simple, the scope of the game was reduced by a factor of 3 Midway towards the comp as I realized I didn't have enough time! If you look at the Time lapse you'll see that I had a very logical and elaborate storyline planned out within the first few hours of the jam. Then at the middle of the second/last day I still hadn't started on the inventory and only had 3 rooms done, so I had to take a bunch of shortcuts for the user to get/use the objects... The theme is mostly around the fact that for the investigation you start with no clue and have to figure out the murder mystery. Not a great use of the theme but I wanted to try this new genre for this LD and couldn't think of anything better.
Thanks for playing!!
@jake-marks thanks for playing, it was super fun to watch you guys go through it :)
@maxdmg yeah the very low resolution definitely made it easier to draw things, and unfortunately the hitboxes were not pixel-perfect so it came with some drawbacks. I'm definitely not a great pixel-artist and it was the most time-consuming item (see timelapse). Thanks for playing, happy you enjoyed it!
@stasm oh wow I've never met someone else wHo had played coktel vision's gobliiins series before!! (It was fairly big in Europe but quite unknown in the US). I just loved those games so much alongside the amazing titles from Lucas Arts. Thanks for playing!
It just blows my mind what you were able to accomplish in 48h. The music is just astounding by itself, the theme is addressed with perfection, the gameplay is super fun and smooth. Love the graphics, awesome tribute to megaman. Perfect entry, awesome job!
Really loved this little puzzle game! Graphics were super cute (actually pretty awesome before/after levels) and the levels were very well thought through! Really cool entry, I loved it!!
Such an awesome entry! Loved every bit of it. Graphics were outstanding, the music was super chill and soothing. Took me about half an hour to collect everything and have a glorious 5 star raft. Very addicting gameplay. The only thing I would add is made some storyline, like a quick slide of intro to explain what happened to Bob and then some sort of end (I didn't reach one so not sure if there is one?) to the game. Love the use of the theme and super fun to play. Definitely in the top 3 entries that I have played this LD!
What an awesome concept! Love the universe and game premise. Love the mood and space atmosphere! Also love the challenging puzzles and little music. This was just so good overall!
As I was about to complain about the character movement (and sometimes being propulsed into the lava when building a mine where the character is...) I'm seeing a lot of other comments about this so I won't go into details.
A really really cool entry, love it!
Hilarious entry! Loved every bit of it, thanks for not having a jump scare at the end!! Really fun to play through, loved the audio! :)
Very cool entry, I really love how you used the theme! This is also the first time that I'm seeing someone take the concept of missile command in reverse (basically you place the bases strategically so that they don't get hit by the projectiles going in a straight line), super ingenious! Loved the simple graphics and the palette of colors that you used. I did find the spark sound a bit too loud compared to the flower placement sound but it's very minor compared to the overall entry. I think this could make an awesome little mobile game, you could even have different types of flowers that have different properties, etc. Great work!
Capture.PNG
Such an awesome and unique puzzle concept! I love the graphics, you could have played a known tune backwards to engage with the mood. Levels are well balanced and some are quite tricky to get right. Still can't get used to the character facing backwards from where it's walking after playing for 15 minutes lol.
Awesome entry!
Pretty much a perfect game for me. Everything from the visuals to the music, the polish in the animations, the fun gameplay... What an incredible little game for just 72h, I'm blown away...
Awesome, awesome entry!! Especially considering this was your first LD??! Just wow...
Just saw your game being streamed and I had to try it. Wow, the level of polish is just so amazing... The screen transitions, the graphics, the animtations, FX, and music are just all-around outstanding! I loved the gameplay and am a huge fan of word games! The only drawback I could see is that I couldn't reach any ending and was just playing for like 30 mins without seeing any end in sight...
Otherwise such an awesome entry, great job!!
Well hey another point and click adventure!! :) Lovely little story, I'm surprised you're not getting more reviews! Love the artstyle, I kept wondering if the ghost was reliving his own memories or if he used to be the boy on the fishing trip when he was alive (which would make it both sad and sweet). Would have loved some music / sound. Loved every other bit of it!
Capture.PNG
Love the graphics and pathfinding algorithm, especially level 2. Love the ability to have different types of ammo for towers which you need to switch depending on the ennemy wave. Really adds variety to the game. Wish you would have added some audio. Really cool little tower defense.
Aaah!! Finally another point and click game :) I think you really nailed the graphics and music, everything was super polished and perfect. Loved trying different combinations, although I think there might have been a small bug when selecting items from time to time, but closing the summon dialog and opening it up again fixed it. Awesome job both of you!
Played once and got a bunch of different parts but then was moving super slow. Went back and read your description / strategy guide and went back to play a bunch of times. Very cool entry, I love the original take on the theme! The music and the mood were spot on (albeit maybe a tiny bit repetitive) and the gameplay was suer fun. Loved the ability to sell stuff to the black market to get some health back, loved seeing enemies kill each other (you always hope that there's a double death lol). Great little game!
I just played your post-jam entry, what an awesome little game! nailed down every aspect of what could be a really solid platformer! With a bit more time it would have been awesome to see a bit more difficult platformer once you've unlocked all the abilities. Otherwise pretty much perfect in my book. Awesome job!
Awesome puzzler, really loved it the entire way through ("YOUUU WINNN!") I felt like the puzzles were really fun to solve and I really enjoyed the lighting effect (maybe sometimes a bit too bright?) Loved the music as well, I think this game has great potential to grow into something much bigger (2 player mode anyone??).
Awesome job!
Very cool concept! I quite enjoyed the camera animation / FX and sound when taking a selfie. It was fun to run around looking for stuff to photograph. The game felt a bit short, but overall it was quite enjoyable all around! Great job!
Great little game! I loved the graphics and audio! I'm curious what you used to compose the music? I had a hard time figuring out the box colliders (how close could I get to the ennemies without being killed) but completed the game after my second run by going back to the base only once. I think it could be fun to have additional levels with increasing levels of difficulty. Great job overall!
Very cool entry! There was a really nice progression in difficulty and the last level was quite challenging to complete! Love the platformer aspect with different abilities that you learn to master, and also really love the art style! The only little caveat I would find is that when you have slopes the hitbox is still a rectangle so it makes it look like the character is floating. Also the music is a bit too short and the loop gets repetitive. Other than that it's an awesome little game, I'm surprised you guys don't have more ratings!!
Loved the audio and mood that you set in the game. Very cool entry! I did run into the same zooming issue as some other folks but was able to zoom back in. Neverthelees, it'd be a nice limit to set in the game directly. Nice touch on the pausing (who does that anyways??) :) Great job!
Didn't see the timer on my first play through, and really enjoyed my second run. Time flies really fast which takes away from the redundancy of the idle-game type. I love the mix with the 48h compo "gamedev story" inspiration.
Awesome graphics, Pachelbel's Canon is always a nice addition and the sounds were pretty cute.
Overall a very solid entry, congrats!
Really loved the lighting effect and 3d models, I think it's always impressive to do this in a short amount of time!! I'm not going to repeat the other comments about the dash issues, I do think that this could have made an awesome platformer if there was a little bit more control over the ability to pass obstacles / pits. I did appreciate the ability to quickly restart with R whenever I miserably failed at properly aiming for my dash lol. Good job for 24h!
Awesome graphics and mood! Really enjoyed the story and the dialogues. Only little concern was with opening the notebook but otherwise a pretty flawless entry in my book. Awesome job!
13333 with the new version! Amazing graphics for a combo!! I really loved the atmosphere, textures and 3d models. The only drawback I would say is that making a bad move didn't have any effect other than a special sound. A bit of screenshake or additional graphics could have helped conveyed the notion that there was an impact.
Awesome entry, great job!
Lol that was hilarious!! I'm glad I skipped leg day otherwise it would have looked a bit weird having big arms :D Awesome music, loved the crude graphics and sense of humor. Really fun entry to play!
Loved the music on this entry! Really fits in well with the puzzles. Also I love this puzzle game, it's very soothing and yet quite challenging on some of the advanced levels. I really wish I didn't have to validate with SPACE whenever I complete something, I think at one point it just reset when I thought for sure I had completed it (must have made a mistake..)
Anyways really solid entry, great job!
Lol did not expect the town at the end. Really fun to play, reminded me of this old Windows 95 game called FreeSki! I was hoping to gain more speed throughout time but it always felt a bit slow even though the slopes were really steep. Loved to be able to knock those trees down (suckers!!) Really fun entry!
What an awesome entry!! Probably one of the most polished games I've seen on LD. Everything from the storyline (we don't see enough LD games with proper intro / end!!) to the graphics, animations, mood, controls, music, etc. is just so smooth and well made.
Pretty much the perfect LD entry in my book, well done!
Well that was really unique! Love the voice acting, but I had to turn the volume down because the footstep sounds were killing me lol Love the atmosphere, nice little entry!
Really awesome graphics! Happy I read the description before starting to play, was able to gather a bunch of resources. Footstep noises were a bit repetitive, but it was fun to go through the progress. I built all the tools but couldn't find a way to finish the game.
Very fun little platformer with an interesting grind. I wish the game would speed up a bit towards the middle so that it makes for a more challenging run. Great graphics, lovely controls. Overall an awesome little entry, great job!!
Looove the South Park inspiration in all the details, from the graphics to the character animations. Lovely atmosphere sounds as well (did you record those in your backyard?) I thought I'd reach the cup screenshot you showed in the game description at the end but I guess it would have been after the race? Anyways really cool little entry, would love to see it finished. South Park Stick of Truth is one of my favorite games ever :)
Cheers!
Fun little game, I was really hoping for an alternate ending (went through 3 different universes lol)! Cute little music although it got a bit repetitive. Overall your game kinda reminded me of the first Diablo when I destroyed my mouse with frenetic left clicking lol. Great job!
Looks like the first 30 secs of a multi-million dollar game :) Mind-blowing graphics and awesome music/mood overall! Wish there was more content on the computer. (I'm a huge Commodore fan!)
Very fun little tycoon management game! Took me 2 attempts to become a millionaire. Really good balance over time, was able to become a millionaire in 11 months (is it possible to do it in less than that?)
Some nice little music would have been a great addition. Awesome entry!
Really loved so many things about this game: the impact effects, the music and the arcade gameplay. Loved the boss and the polish put in the game. Awesome job!
Lol that was super fun to play :) love the art style and audio! I wish the game lasted a bit longer but I thought it was really enjoyable to avoid those flesh eating pigs! Good thing there are a bunch of limbs on the road in that area of the world! :D
Capture.PNG
Love the art style and gameplay. Music was perfectly spooky and I loved the fact that there was a proper scenario and ending. Great job!
Love this little PICO-8 entry! Fun little concept, I actually had to get my notebook out to win the game :) Love the execution and simplicity, I think you can game the system by just checking if 2 people are giving the same (item/color) combo to know if it's the truth, but I may be wrong?
One of my favorite entries so far!
Super fun little game! Awesome graphics / 3d modeling / animation / texturing, super impressive for a jam. Colliders were sometimes a bit funky but otherwise just a lot of fun altogether :) Oh and awesome job on the elevator music!
Lovely little puzzle game! I loved the fact that each new level came with a new brain twist, super fun to actually solve! Note that at one point I got stuck in the flowers and had to restart the entire game. Otherwise a little audio would have really added to the mood. Really enjoyed finishing this!
Very cool little game! Quite simple and I have to say I cheated by looking at the console logs to help me find the canister, but was able to properly set the explosive. Lovely animations and graphics. Great job overall!
Fun little game, I was able to raise more than 200K, which seemed pretty good considering I knew nothing to start with :)
It's too bad the game is sometimes unforgiving when 2 bubbles were triggered at different speed on the same track, making it pretty much impossible to yell out the 2 words to not lose a heart.
Otherwise I loved the little graphics and simple gameplay. Great job!
Very cool entry! The web version played fine from the first time, and I loved the new mechanics that came with each new object. Very nice little mood, made me feel a bit claustrophobic! Great music, controls/collisions were a bit on the rough side but the gameplay was quite effective.
Great job overall!
Man do I hate that helicopter lol! So stressful, why can't I just get candy!?!? Really fun little game, loved the progression of difficulty (although maybe a bit too slow on my 4th run, I wish there woudl have been a way to start where the difficulty is a bit higher). Simple but effective graphics, awesome music and great little concept!
Love the mood you set in this game. I played it about 6-7 times and I don't think I've emptied out all of the options yet. Really enjoyed the sense of humor and the different endings. Awesome job!
Great game! loved the progression and character animation a la prince of persia! Great audio as well!
ROCK PAPER SCISSORS !!
Very cool entry! Absolutely love the art, mood and humor! The crafting is a really nice touch, made it very fun to play!! Great job!
Amazing graphics and awesome polish on the animations / audio. I couldn't get passed the treant (died every time during my 3 attempts) so unfortunately I didn't go further than the forest :( Wish I could have played this some more. This could be a great tablet game! Awesome job!
Looooved every second of the voice acting, that was so hilarious! loved the puzzles although some were very hard to control! Really fun overall!
That was such an awesome entry! Very clever use of the theme, and being a huge fan of overcooked I had a blast playing this! Love the graphics and music. I do agree with a lot of other comments that the main culprit here would be the controls, but other than that a really flawless entry! I love the game progression and the way that the game teaches you how to play throughout the first levels. Awesome job team!
Loved the storyline and music, really set a nice mood. Awesome pixel art during the combat phase as well. The main drawback on my end wasn't so much the combat but that I skipped like 10 dialogues at the end of every combat having one of the direction key pressed. (fat finger!) Really cool entry, I wish you had the time to finish it!
This looks like a fun idle game but I'm having a hard time grasping how to play. I currently have 1 duck and 3 eggplants but not sure how to get more or what to click on (currently using a bruteforce approach). Could you add some explanation in your notes?
Love the chill music and UI though. Some of those tweets are pretty awesome :)
Really enjoyed this game! Reminded me of SimAnt! (yes I'm old lol) Only thing that bothered me was when the ants were going through the bottom right menu options and I couldn't kill them when I wanted as I had 2 pots top right. Loved the music and hated the spiders lol Great entry!!
the xbox controller made a huge difference. I love lunar-type games and this was an awesome take on it. I loved the mechanics and gameplay (thanks for adding some healthpacks!). A space-themed music would have been awesome as well. Really well done overall!
descent.png
Really awesome little game with great 8bit music and pixel art. I love the dash mechanic, it added a lot to the puzzle. Great animations and level design altogether, this was really fun to play!
@predominant @greybeetle thanks so much for playing!
@macdoom looks like you have the best score from all of LD48 so far :) thanks so much for playing to the end!
@ziggykac @lajbert thanks so much for playing!
@prodigalson thanks so much for playing until the end! Congrats on getting silver! :)
@sacredbacon thanks for the heads up on the HTML version. Are you using a specific browser? I tried with FF and Chrome w/o issues. Thanks for trying out the windows version and going all the way to the end several times! :)
@haztro thanks so much for playing until the end! hopefully the frustration of the game is balanced with some of those satisfying moments of getting the right jumps :)
@godknows @arancutter glad you liked it, thanks for playing it!
@last-angle I think I should have put less going-up obstacles to fit with the theme, thanks for trying it out!
@cogcomp I love JMJ, Oxygene FTW! thanks so much for playing it! :)
@lone-wolf thanks for the heads up, I don't know why firefox is having issues, that's unfortunate... Hopefully you were able to play the game still
@lone-wolf wow I can't believe you got gold and beat my score, that's awesome!! :) Thanks for the feedback on the bugs, I'll most likely fix them after the scoring period has ended since they're not too game-breaking. Thanks so much for playing all the way through and getting gold, you're amazing! :P
@javicoder thanks so much, I appreciate the feedback! :)
@octopoid thanks for the bug report! I'm still not sure why the webassembly build fails on firefox :( glad you were able to play it still.
@frenchie congrats for #1!! :)
@ismael-rodriguez great reference, I'll have to play that one through! thanks for playing my game!
@felo07 it's not trivial :P thanks for trying though!!
what an amazingly polished entry, such an awesome job on the graphics / gameplay / level design! I wish there were more levels! awesome level of details, and I love the torch mechanic. The only thing I would advise you to do (other than a full version of the game) is to make the death loop faster -- if the player dies, just bring him fast at the beginning of the level to keep going. Awesome job altogether, I had a blast going through all 8 levels
awesome little clicker game, I have no clue how some folks were able to go above 2Mil, but props to them! Lovely music and really fun to see the multiplayer competitive aspect to it. You've picked my curiosity with this new juicebox game engine! :) Hope to see more from your team!
what an awesome little game, it really plays like a finalized, well polished professional game you would find on the app store. Really tricky at first, I finally was able to get good coordination with the controls and the game turned out to be a really fun fast-action paced game. Outstanding graphics and music, really fun grapple mechanic, really great entry overall!
Really fun little puzzle/platformer! Thanks for providing the ability the undo a move, I loved the different challenges with the water/rock/box as I was going down the level. Nice addition of LD48 using the level tiles btw! Audio was quite funny :) Great take on the theme, awesome job!
Really awesome entry! I love how you created such a deep story, the mechanic of seeking clues, traveling left and right to make progress. Like others have mentioned, a medieval tune would have been outstanding, and perhaps a bit of sound effects when the player figures something out, giving a bit more rewarding feedback to signal that the player is making progress. Otherwise I really loved everything about this, I'm actually quite curious about how you pulled the light effect in the ruins, that was really cool!
run.png
I was able to pass 3K on my 3rd playthrough, this reminded me quite a bit about FTL, I would have loved to see the repair progress as well. Overall awesome entry, really well polished and fleshed out, perfect fit with the theme. Lovely graphics and mood, great gameplay with proper pathfinding/3d graphics etc. Really great job! The only thing I would fix is that the UI doesn't scale properly according to the screen size (I have an ultrawide screen) and the buttons overlapped some of the power management elements. Otherwise outstanding work!
This is awesome, I'm amazed at what you were able to pull off within just 48h! That's really crazy! Great job on the graphics, music and gameplay. I love the mechanic of having to properly place the blocks, it makes the whole game really interesting as you dig deeper.
fun little dodging game with a quirky music and sound (TAKE THIS, DEPRESSION!!) I must not be depressed since I kept guessing the wrong words :) anyhow I loved the take on the theme and I think we need more optimistic games like yours these days!! great job!
run.png
really loved that entry, got 198 after hitting the slicy metal twice in a row :( hats off to a theme really well respected, great graphics and audio, solid controls as well. Funny thing is that after playing your game for a few minutes, I looked at your game screenshot and my eyes were being tricked into seeing the character move even though the image was still :)
Awesome game!
Great little platformer, it was really fun to go and chase down all those coins, the timing was really well done to make it challenging yet fair. Lovely graphics, and I love the pickaxe boomerang effect. Overall the only thing I would improve would be to make the music loop a bit longer, otherwise awesome job!
Easy contender for top-10 games of this jam, amazing level of polish and attention to gameplay. Outstanding music / mood, and an original tether mechanic that was really fun to play with. Fives across the board, outstanding work!
Lovely game! I had a bit of a hard time when there were a lot of enemies but otherwise it was really fun to aim/kill enemies while chasing treasures downhill. Great execution and fun gameplay. Lovely entry!
run.png
It's absolutely mindblowing what you guys pulled off in just 72hours. What an awesome, wholesome game and universe. Really fun gameplay, music, art, voice acting and story. Having detailed such as having animated 3d characters, having their mouths speak in sync with the voice, all of that was just really really great. Awesome job altogether!
run.png
wow it's crazy to think you pulled off such a polished 3d platformer in only 48h, awesome job! Like the other comments said, I think the main challenge was working around that camera angle, but with a controller it was actually not too bad. Really awesome graphics / gameplay. Great content as well with 4 different world types / physics. I especially loved the rope jumps. Awesome job!
run.png
awesome story game, really heavy on several critical themes and I am sure it will resonate with a few folks that will play your game. Great mood, beautiful music and very smoothing gameplay that leans right into the story. Awesome job
wow I'm blown away by the quality of the visuals / shaders / music for a 48h solo jam. This is just so amazing, holy cow! awesome job, I loved it from start to finish, it was a blast playing with the torchlight, just swimming away and seeing all the visual artifacts come into life. I did feel bad about that leaking submarine but it didn't seem like there was much we could do :)
Awesome, awesome compo entry!
run.png
Almost reached 7K before 2 fast imps took me down! Really fun gameplay, awesome graphics and cute elevator music. Really strong entry!
run.png
loved the quirky humor and gameplay! mixing this with really great audio and really cute pixel art, this is such an awesome entry! Love the take on the theme, I really had no clue how far down those quests would go before coming back up. Loved the ending as well, especially given that I'm currently watching The Expense :)
great job!
my first playthrough I was too tempted to just let it go and see.. turns out I ended up like a panini but that was quite entertaining :) third playthrough I was able to beat it, mostly due to luck with a few clouds saving my butt towards the end :) great take on the theme and fun gameplay!
run.png
what an awesome/original take on the theme! I was confused at first because I felt like there was no way to properly repay folks I would be borring money from, until I realized that was the whole purpose of the game, using a ponzi scheme to get rich fast by accumulating the biggest debts possible, living the life and then trying to survive while having to face the reality of having to pay back folks. Awesome graphics and refreshing gameplay. I did find it a bit hard to judge where the folks I owned money to were located using just the arrow on their profile picture. Awesome game!
Like the others, I would have loved the ability to keep my last command rather than see it reset between all runs. I really loved the graphics / music / gameplay. It's just super polished for a 48h solo jam, awesome job!
run.png
I had no problem playing and loved the take you had on the theme. The enemies were all kamikazes and most of them died without having to face my amazing/deadly torpedo aim :) In the 3 runs I did I never saw a big treasure chest, are they only found really deep? Really fun to play!
run.png
I love what people pull off with PICO-8. This is such an awesome little idea and it was really fun to replay through a bunch of times to go above 300. Similar to old arcade racing games where you had to reach checkpoints to get more time, you could also add similar challenging checkpoints that could add more time to the bank.
The only thing I would change is that sometimes it was challenging to see the score I made given that you're using the same key for thrusters as the key to start the game. Very polished otherwise, great job!
run.png
What an awesome little rhythm game! Loved the catchy music, easy difficulty was a bit underwhelming so I went to hard mode and really loved it! The only issue I saw was that on an ultrawide screen the beat tends to fall really really close to the top of the screen, making it a bit challenging to see what's going on. Otherwise this is an awesome little gem!
this game reminded me of my tring to get my kids to find objects in the house while I yell cold/hot to get them to find it :) fun mechanic and dreamy atmosphere, I liked the story and mood a lot! great job!
