I really like this concept. I had been thinking about doing something similar at a later date. It seemed tough to catch criminals, but easy to jack up your score at the same time. Not sure if this is a design problem or feature :)
The only game I've seen thus far that gets 5 stars for "Mood". Sorta reminds me of the The Binding of Isaac.
I like this game. The point & click interface was well done, although I'm not sure I figured out how to make much progress. Night seemed to come rather quickly.
This game is pretty cool, although I had some trouble figuring out what to do. I did get bigger if I walked into the fire though :). I also threw many sticks into the fire. The graphics and music are well done. I didn't see any rabbits so I eventually starved.
This game is pretty awesome. I somehow skipped 2 areas, but I had fun playing. If you were to expand on it, I might make the side-to-side movement more refined than jumping, so you could set up your jumps for carefully & then have more complex levels. It sort of plays itself once you decide which direction to jump. Either way, I thought it was great. Awesome job!
I enjoyed the art & music. I'm not sure it's possible to actually get the stone in the bucket?
Pretty impressive! The first strategy game I've played on here. It was a bit hard to see, but was still pretty fully featured for the time constraints. Good job.
A well done title, but there instructions were lot to take in initially. It would be cool if there was an on-demand key to see if the matchups would be favorable or not, rather than just the info screen at the beginning.
Cool entry! I like the idea & the aesthetic of the game, but you can get pretty overpowered pretty quickly as long as you don't die immediately.
*player leaves the room* - I most certainly did not! Fun concept, but the platforming was a bit wonky. Still, I like the meta aspect.
I enjoyed this game, but I eventually had to quit because the gravity change room was making me nauseous. I liked most of the mechanics indvidually (bridge building, bouncy platforms, etc.), but using them all at once felt sorta jumbled. I think that there could be more focus on the theme, besides the subversion with the TV.
Unzips to 121MB! Eek. I enjoyed the soundtrack & skybox.
Cool entry! I like the take on the theme. I also really dig the characters and animation.
The approach was pretty simple, but I liked it. It would be cool if there was any indication that a hit had registered, or maybe if the bullets stopped on contact.
Interesting concept. I haven't seen something quite like this! Although after losing once, I restarted and just spammed turrets and won pretty much instantaneously. If there was more strategy need in placing those, it would be a cool tug of war concept.
This is a great entry, but it feels lacking. The zoom is so tight that you can't even see the platforms next to you. It would be cool if you could toggle the zoom on or off. Also, you the spikes don't seem to penalize you, and you can jump infintely. Still, I think this entry shows a lot of promise.
I really like the style of this! I love anything that is "floating in spacey". I found it hard to play, though.
Had fun! I love the semi-3d-kinda-isometric view.
I really like this idea! I happened to suck at it, but I could see this really hooking some players.
It seems like there is a good idea here, but I had a lot of trouble grasping what was going on. It seemed like you could walk into all the enemies with no penalty (regarding death anyway). Anyway, you seem to have a solid idea on your hands, but it could possibly use some streamlining.
I really enjoyed this, although my clicking finger got tired quickly. It would be cool if there was some type of indicator saying which powerup you had at the time. It was also kinda hard to keep track of enemy health with it all displaying at once. Maybe their models could change color when hit? Either way, great job!
I enjoyed this game. Remniscent of a Meatboy/IWBTG type game. I would have enjoyed analog controls though, I personally hate playing platformers with a keyboard. Overall I thought it was well done, and the level transitions were cool. Although, as others have mentioned, the hit detection was a bit wonky.
This game is pretty great. Clever & grim take on the theme. Wish it was longer, though.
Fun game, if not a little derivative. I thought the organ theme was really cool, but got frustrated trying to actually complete the objective :)
Seems pretty easy, if you just spam a bunch of turrets & upgrade them, you can't really lose. It also seemed like the music cut out after a bit.
Although, it seems like there is potential! You've got a solid base, and it would be great with maze building & whatnot.
I enjoyed playing, but it did seem like there was a lot of time spent crafting the theme, which left the actual gameplay kind of lackluster. Well done on the models.
This game is pretty great. I love the art style and the mix of the 3D with the bullets & obstacles. My only complaint is the problems don't play by the same rules and also get stuck on the obstacles. Such is life, I guess!
I like the item buying concept, it sorta reminded me of a tower defense! However, it was a lot to manage very quickly (for instance, reloading appeared to come out of nowhere, as well as the guys who could actually shoot). I think if the enemies scaled up more slowly, I'd enjoy it more. Good work.
I enjoyed the soothing nature. It would be cool if there was some soothing music as well.
I really enjoy the art. The flying dude creeps me out. He globs on to you in a funny way if he gets close. Aiming seemd a bit wonky, though.
Great mood & presentaiton, although there wasn't a ton of player feedback from what I could gleam, I just appeared to be assigning safety to rooms. It eventually ended and just restarted very quickly, and I'm not sure how I died.
It reminded me a lot of Chip's Challenge with the key concept! It would be cool if there were more levels, or additional enemies. I liked the art for the player :)
This game is awesome! I love the concept. Not entirely on theme though, imo.
I love that no cars ever leave. I've just been watching it for a while now. Actually, when I tabbed back over, everyone had stopped a few trucks were in the grass :) Keep workin on it!
I was hoping there would be a game featuring cat-tossing. I was somewhat disappointed that I couldn't seem to toss anything out the window.
I enjoyed myself while playing, but I did find it to be a bit repetetive. Once I learned that I could kite all of the enemies, it was pretty much just down to running around in circles. A different pathfinding mechanism is needed perhaps? I did really like the song though - it sounded like something out of an N64 Rare game. Shame you have opted out of Audio!
Cool game. I liked the song, and that you went with both themes. The accelerated maze concept it cool, but more levels would be nice :)
Hilarious. I immidiately messed up and had to restart, but I like it. Plus, I really enjoy Breakout!
Good points GAFBlizzard.. everything you mentioned was planned, but time ran out on me :)
I love games with jetpacks, orbiting stuff is cool too. It can be counter intuitive the way A and D work, though
I think this a pretty cool game. Simple, but fun mechanics. My one complaint is that that dying sets you all the way back at the beginning - it would be cool if it was the previous portal or something.
I love this idea! However, there doesn't seem to be a downside to letting two of your ships die (as it's hard to focus on them all at once). Controller support is awesome though! I'd love to play a more refined version.
Interesting concept! It would be cool if there was a bit more perspective in the Z direction. Opening cinematic was cool as well.
Cool game! Got hard to play quickly, but I still enjoyed it for what it was. I could see it as a mobile game.
I really like the feel and mood of this game. The sound was excellent, and the fact that you had a story was cool too. I found the controls to be a bit frustrating, though. Not having any influence over your character in the air leaves you a sitting duck on the second section as well.
I really like the aesthetic, but I was sort of confused on what to do. It also bugged out on me a few times, but it seems like you could be on to something pretty awesome with your frame buffer technique!
A cool idea with the ever descending platforming. However, the spikes and obstacles were really hard to see, so I had trouble telling what kiled me.
The building mechanic was neat and well done. It would be cool if the Fire Things spawned at a lower rate but also knocked pieces off of your house they collided with it. I appreciated the option for co-op and we had a lot of fun playing. Great work!
Great game. Love the idea & the bgm, you can't beat the Wombo Combo inclusion. I did feel like I had to stop playing after a few minutes though, I felt like my brain was rumbling.
Fun! Nice take on a classic type of game. I really enjoyed when I shot the city myself :)
