Fun game, enjoyed it, played it a few times. Harder than I thought it would be.

Fun mechanic, but it gets very hard very fast! The graphics could use some polish.
Pretty fun, but the mechanic of being pushed back when being shot seems to play against how slow your character moves. Maybe upping the character move speed, while also causing the pushback effect to be larger might offset it?

what do the arrows do? am i supposed to collect them? all i know is i got bombarded by a LOT of dudes.. then i moved to the other side of the screen and a guy spawned next to me.
The first time I played I was like "aw, that's easy".... Then i died, and died again and again. I really enjoyed the game, it's a good work. The music is a bit awkward, but it's good
Nice little game! At one point I was like: "wee I got this I shoot faster then anything" and then 5 super fat opponents spawned on me lol! Very fun to play, a bit repetitive. good job!
I wasn't able to figure out how to zoom out. :( The arrows didn't seem to do anything. I like the kick-back on the shooting though.
Clever use of the theme! I enjoyed playing. I wished the arrows would've grew too, so I could still see them.
A game where the camera zooms out as you progress -- that's a really cool idea. It can be annoying that your character gets pushed back by firing, but it certainly adds a new element of danger to games like this. Nice job!

Nice artwork, but holy carpal tunnel batman, please let me hold down arrow keys to fire. :P Diagonal shooting might be nice too.
I am not sure if the game has a goal or if it goes forever. I got to the huge black monsters but stopped after a while.
I forgot to mention, you might want to add some sort of loading message when you press escape. On Firefox escape freezes the game (presumably while loading) so some people might think the browser is frozen.
I keep dying, but then why do I keep playing. Very fun, and a good use of the theme.

This is a really cool interpretation of the theme. I like that a lot. The movement/shooting works, but I don't think the knockback really helps the game. Otherwise, I really liked this.
Cool concept based on the theme. I especially like blue arrows, but I wish the arrow drops were not random, because if I don't get a blue arrow for a while it guarantees certain death. I don't like that the enemies can spawn randomly ontop of you, or that you die with just one hit and then have to restart from scratch. I got to this bigger boss type monster after getting 3 blue arrows in a row on one run, and then he appeared right ontop of me and I died, doh! I like how the enemy eyes change colors to represent their health. I am not really a fan of using 4 buttons to shoot in 4 directions, it feels sort of like an unnecessary addition to the gameplay, and I wish I could just aim with the mouse. With some more work, I can see this being pretty fun though, because the base mechanic of the screen zoom being controlled by power-ups is pretty cool.
I liked it, it was pretty funny to grow so my face covered the whole screen. I think it would be a whole lot better if you could hold down the arrow keys though, right now it gets slightly annoying/painful
What a brilliant game! It was epic going from fighting a few enemies to battling massive armies of them!
Neat little game, simple but fun, I love how the enemies swarm to the player and how you try your best to hit the fire keys. Maybe you could try to make it funny for example, instead the enemies trying to kill you they try to take your ice cream or something :)
lol, the first time I played this, I thought the recoil from shooting was the only way to move, and thought the game sucked. Then I discovered walking with WASD and felt dumb for not reading the instructions, but the game got better.
health bar, rapid fire, and slower scaling would make this go to the top of my list.
The game is buggy.

Awesome game :) Reached 30,000 points and was so big I didn't fit in the screen top-bottom.
Really liked the way you used the theme, and the recoil added a fun twist to this kind of gameplay.

I got lucky and got the invincible bug, so I was able to play until I got the character to fill up nearly the entire screen, which was fun. The music is fine, but it gets repetitive rather quickly. The game mechanic of zooming out as you progress is very nice.
Very interesting control mechanic - real brain-f*ck to start out with. Think it'd be worth developing further :)

interesting gameplay - i love the idea of powering up the screen - nicely done
