I tried this on three different browsers, all 64 bit and I couldn't get it to work :(
The line-of-sight shader is top-notch on this. The game is great fun, and a fantastic entry to the competition on it's own, but that shader man. Great work!
Great atmosphere on this!
You seemed to launch off when you got to the top of a ladder, which was sort of odd. Fun game though!
Sort of gets easier as you go, but interesting game. I didnt hear any music or audio.
I love the theme. I don't think I've seen a post-4x game, especially not one in made 72 hours. I think if you had made the trade interactions a bit more visual it would have packed more punch (hit "Trade" and it immidiately shows the effect it has on both systems).
Also, I love that you used d3.js, very clever!
Played quite well, once I got used to the control scheme and how the game operated. Couldn't find a way of killing the double-wide/tall blocks, even if I hit them with lasers 5 or 6 times back-to-back. The text was also extremely hard to read, and the "Blast" bar didn't seem to do anything?
Great entry, though!
Dropbox seems to have crapped out on the web version
Seems to be some issues with the performance and overall gameplay and resolution, the goal is also unclear.
Little bit on the simple side, but nice shader, textures, controls, music, and self-explanatory mechanics. Great entry!
Ha, interesting game. Ends somewhat abruptly, but good fun :)
No strafing makes the game a lot about quick mouse movements if thats what you were going for. Bullets are indeed hard to see.
Ha, clever use of the theme. The player seemed to float a bit much, which made landing accurately awkward.
Wow, this is great! Are you sure you made it in only a couple days?
Really interesting concept and the graphics and voice work totally fit the mood you were going for. But it was a bit frustrating dodging the circles. Maybe have a reticule that takes of half the screen that you have to have avoid the circles? That way you get some notification that a circle is coming and that you can avoid it without it just popping up and you taking damage.
Great entry!
I thought it was worth having a humor vote!
Ha, nice job at distilling a clicker game to it's very basics. Great entry!
Yeah, thanks for the feedback. Like dungeo said, we were going to have a more subtle song for the game, but didn't get around to it. Also balance (and a few small rule changes) are the number one thing we identified as necessary to make it more fun and replayable.
@Germanunkol, we'll get a Linux version up soon!
Thanks for all the positive feedback and criticism! I had no real idea what to expect and was a little worried, but these responses are very encouraging.
A bit unpolished, and sometimes the physics seemed a bit odd, but a really clever concept! Plays really well for 72 hours :)
Haha, this is great!
My one complaint is that jumping seemed a bit hit or miss. I'd hit the jump key and not move at least half the time. Even with that happening, it was a great game!
Game would be a bit funner if you could shoot a bit faster, didn't tend to get stuck on enemies, or moved a bit swifter.
That being said, the fog of war mechanic was awesome. I know it's only one component of the game, but having the "giant pixel" fog of war system totally made the game for me. Great entry!
Pretty fun, but the mechanic of being pushed back when being shot seems to play against how slow your character moves. Maybe upping the character move speed, while also causing the pushback effect to be larger might offset it?
Great entry though :)
Ha, "Murder points" :D
Hard to understand the mechanics at play in this.
Couldn't play in web either. It just sat on the main screen no matter what I did. Great music, though :)
Fun little game. Probably should add some bounding boxes on the edge of the screen so the trampoline doesn't fly off the edge :)
Haha, it hurts to even look at this game. Well done!
I love that you put the snowman as the background :D
Interesting concept. I think that if you shrunk the region of the sky in which the screen clear effect happens, it would have a better impact. As is, the majority of the time it's almost impossible to play with how much of the screen is distorted.
That being said, it was definitely an effective spritemare :)
