I wish there was a score so I could see how (not) well I was doing. My heuristic: hold up + right + fire. Maybe have a penalty for doing this?

I choose to interpret vent as screen! Very nice aliens-twist on tempest, although I am missing the superzapper and other associated oddities. Overall, very fun (good job!)
Lots of fun! A little sad that once you lose your balls you're all gone.
I don't quite get it, but I don't have to -- it's fun!
Snowman!! With a Fez!!!
But actually sort of fun tower defense.
Wow, I really like this one. Excellent interaction mechanics and fun puzzles.
In unity web player, right click pops up a menu (thats okay... space works). On levels with more than one world, it becomes quickly impossible to deliver without a pizza getting cold. I like the aesthetic, though.
Let's play a game of thermonuclear war. I'm not sure how I was supposed to guess the password for the first launch computer, the TODO file lied...
Your description is like a direct shot at my game--and I love it! Lots of fun, but the melee combat is difficult. Would be nice if the chests had powerups sometimes, maybe increased range would be useful?
Fun puzzler!
The difficulty ramps really quickly after level 4, but nevertheless fun :)
The collisions are a little wonky
I like the sepia theme, and the 'low-rez' style graphics and audio work really well together.
Dangerously addictive. I could definitely see myself dropping this on my phone and playing from time to time. It seemed like there was a point where I couldn't recover my losses, though... that was a bit frustrating.
Must... keep... clicking...
Bravo! I love the space-bending puzzle.
I wish it either 1) wasn't the same pattern every time or 2) I could resume from a checkpoint
Fun, but missing something
I fixed the bug! It took me a bit to get oriented, but it once I did, it was really fun to play through. If the text and stuff in the walls was constantly changing that would be even cooler! :)
You're my role model! Work it gurrrl!
You'll need to put the SWF file as well, I'd love to play it but can't!
Sometimes frustrating when the death walls crush in what should be a tie, but one person "wins"
Hey, it's another text-based roguelike. Me gusta. Too bad about the snowman.
Really, really fun. A little unbalanced (those blue guys are evil).
BRAVO!
Cookie clicker * snow = fun!
Nice entry, great music, nice graphics, cool concept. Not very deep, but meh whatever!
Don't jump when the level is changing or the enemy bits fly off into space!
I think with some small changes (A* instead of dead reckoning for enemies), different kinds of enemies, some physics alterations) this could be a very fun puzzle game. As it is, it's an enjoyable snowman-the-hedgehog game :)
I love it. Totally dig the music, and the game I eventually figured out. Note: You can shoot after you die...
I am digging the squigglevision. Shame that it's so short!
Not much to like I'm afraid, dumped into a huge variety of barely legible buttons, sliders, etc, all mish-mashed on the screen. The music loop is short. I guess I don't like idle games.
I can't move with any keys :(
Kongregate broken :(
Great! I like the theme, and the parrot was excellent.
Cool mash-up idea!
I wish there was more to do... losing is fun, though :)
I liked it, but I would have liked it more if it had progressive difficulty or set waves of enemies. It was a bit too random--anyone, good one!
It took me a bit to understand what to do (the instructions opening in a new window did not help). I read some of the comments, and then it was better--oh, it's dota ;). Cool idea, and cool that you could pull it off in the time allotted.
Really really cool! I like the gameplay, and the graphics are top-notch. Well done!
I've added a slight patch to make the game nicer for non-us keyboards. the ? on a QWERTYZ keyboard should work, as should ; instead of . for AZERTY.
@ken
One of my biggest regrets in not having as much time as I wanted was in filling out the beastiary and items. There's definitely room to make the dungeon a WHOLE lot bigger, and put a bunch of crazy stuff in there. Sadly, it was not to be... I am pleased to have a complete, sparse as it is, game. :)
@drludos:
The cave actually randomly generates every time you play...it's different every time! :)
Also, in the beginning it tells you to use ? to see what keys do what :). With a resolution of 80x24 every character counts... :)
@tiagolingalexandre:
I think it's a problem with the embedding in the ld48 site; if you use it standalone it doesn't do that (but also, that is why enter and space are aliased, and HJKL are available instead of arrow keys)
Sounds were actually painful! I like the game concept, and I think it could have potential
Nice advent kalendar.
Great entry! Is it always the same? The ending was somehow not a surprise--but funny all the same.
No se puede cambiar a la carpeta de destino? (Testplatformer error when trying to run)
Uploaded at http://kraln.com/tlg for anyone who wants to play without messing around with chrome.
Also fixed some unicode file naming issues.
Once I fixed the loading issues, a fun little platformer with a good difficulty ramping.
Fractal! I love it!
Kinky.
