LD25 — You are the Villain

You are the Dragon by wallmasterr 2012-12-16T23:27:00

Nice.
VERY nice.

LD26 — Minimalism

Pix Lore by HacksawUnit 2013-04-30T10:41:00

Thanks for all the reviews and such. Thanks for the bit.ly tip, Lianne! Pressing "K" near an enemy is supposed to kill them. The bug is exactly what you said ddionisio.

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Puzzle Dash! by Fireblend 2013-08-26T04:33:00

Very nice! PC seemed pretty easy but I guess phones and such would be more suited to this game.

10 seconds to save the day by Volute 2013-08-26T06:15:00

Not working

Ochre by ben 2013-08-26T03:43:00

Great game! The entire work immersed me in the world you created.

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-08-26T02:41:00

@Steve Yeah, about the small window: That shouldn't be happening. Sorry!

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-08-26T21:07:00

@Gremlin It's not too hard once you get the rhythm of when to jump! I made sure it's quick to respawn, so it shouldn't eat up too much time. :-)

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-08-26T23:52:00

@BrainSlugs83 If you have Windows, search for "Magnifier" in the Start bar.

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-08-28T01:59:00

Thanks to everyone for all the positive-and negative-criticism! It means a lot that you've played the game and taken the time to give me some feedback. :-)

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-09-02T02:36:00

@xhunterko Interesting that you didn't like the music. Cool to get another opinion. What didn't you like about it?

Ten Seconds of Thrust by flarb 2013-08-26T04:03:00

Pressing the list controls did nothing. However, pressing the arrow keys did! Very fun little game.

MegaPunch by Nick Weihs 2013-08-27T02:59:00

Solid gameplay, great feel, and ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!? Great work!

Crazy Teleporter: Zombie Edition by internetpaulicy 2013-08-26T04:04:00

Your "web" link goes to a zip. :(

Rebound Recon by TheHermit 2013-08-26T04:48:00

Very nice game! Very fresh take on the theme.

King Craftsman by ravine 2013-08-26T03:02:00

Great interpretation of the theme! Visuals were very polished, and the gameplay was solid. You could easily make a full mobile app out of this!

10 Seconds In 10 Seconds by Jishenaz 2013-08-26T03:39:00

It could have been a lot of fun-everything seemed very well put together-but laggy controls made it hard to enjoy. Still a good effort!

Hack It All! by noom 2013-08-26T04:13:00

A good game, but the difficulty was relentlessness nearing the end.

The Lonely Sentry by namrog84 2013-08-26T03:31:00

Very cute game. Solid mechanics! I encountered an audio glitch where the "thrusting" noise looped forever once I passed a certain level.

Astronomical Odds by Toby Pinder 2013-08-26T03:05:00

The game was fun, but floaty controls made it very difficult to enjoy. Still a solid game.

Pro Crastinator by Jedi 2013-09-17T00:19:00

Neat idea, it's a pity you missed the deadline. :-(

Aftur by Filth 2013-08-26T04:28:00

The game seemed really fun. It did. But the controls were like butter, covered in soap, greased up with vegetable oil, covered in Vaseline. I think this game would have benefited from tighter controls, which is a shame, since it seems like it has a lot of potential.

The Thief by N0_Named_Guy 2013-08-26T04:00:00

Very fun game with great mechanics. The only thing I would add would be "line of sight" graphics for the guards.

Mahayana by devwil 2013-08-26T04:40:00

Very interesting take on the theme!

Mahayana by devwil 2013-08-26T04:41:00

A hard game to rate, but not because of a lack of quality. Very well done.

Time Gate by wolfadex 2013-08-26T03:35:00

Great game! Very solid gameplay, fits the theme perfectly, and looks pretty good. That being said, some more audio would have been nice, and sometimes the depth of the rings was hard to distinguish.

Time Flies Straight by mrspeaker 2013-08-26T20:43:00

Great game!

LD28 — You Only Get One

One Button Computer by HacksawUnit 2014-01-07T02:48:00

Thanks to everyone who rated my game! I am very happy with how everything turned out. :-)

Fat the police by Zekyon 2013-12-17T02:23:00

The controls and gameplay were pretty hard to grasp, which is a real shame, since the game looks very nice and sounds even nicer. Despite this, I think the mechanic was pretty neat.

Spring Crate by torcado 2013-12-17T02:18:00

I feel like the mechanics were promising, but the gameplay was a bit lacking. I would really, really, REALLY like to see a fuller version of this game, seems like a great fit for smartphones! :-)

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

ScubaBear by _Rilem 2014-04-29T01:16:00

Amazing sound, amazing music, amazing gameplay. . . this is real quality!

Color Graphics Adventure by Eniko 2014-04-29T02:07:00

Really fun! It begs for a mobile port, I know I would play this for weeks if I could take it on the bus with me.

Deepeon by HacksawUnit 2014-04-28T02:49:00

@evilDan Could you tell me what browser you are using?

Deepeon by HacksawUnit 2014-04-29T03:21:00

*Note from the creator!*

There were two minor typos in the game when it first released that have been fixed:

◙ Originally, WASD/Arrow control was going to be toggle-able. This was never implemented and the variable that set control was set to WASD permanently. I intended to remove any reference to the toggle ability from the code and enable both methods of control, but overlooked it. Arrow control has been enabled by deleting any toggle code.
◙ The final level was supposed to take you to an ending screen, but due to a typo, it took the player to the game over screen. Nothing was added to the game; 2 words were changed and now the game works as intended.

If you would like to verify what changes have been made, download both version of the source above and compare them in Construct2. :-D

Deepeon by HacksawUnit 2014-05-07T21:17:00

@Jiggwatt Completely valid points! Having to restart from the beginning was not intentional, though. I wanted to put in checkpoints every 2 levels, but ran out of time.

Mole Position by Glint Games 2014-04-28T20:49:00

Got stuck under the first chest.

The Westport Independent by Double Zero One Zero 2014-05-03T17:02:00

I loved the multiple endings, and liked how the player had to be subtle when helping the rebels.

Beneath the Trolls by Dreauw 2014-04-28T02:10:00

I liked the music and the art! Gameplay was great as well.

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Sword Fishing by HacksawUnit 2015-04-21T22:46:00

@emmelineprufrock: Click the knight to begin the game.

Sword Fishing by HacksawUnit 2015-04-23T11:50:00

@micahcowan This was made in Construct2, not CoffeeScript.

LD33 — You are the Monster

Monster's Ball by anissen 2015-08-24T20:26:00

Crashed at one point. Up to that point, very fun.

Turtle Troubles by richardjs 2015-08-25T02:27:00

Great minds think alike! Heh.
Very cool take on the theme. The invincibility power keeps you on your toes!

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Enliven by Patacorow 2016-01-02T21:27:00

I love the world you've built: the art and music all feel very alive.

You only get one vote. by eigenbom 2015-12-14T03:36:00

Transformative experience. Really makes you consider what is and isn't a game.

Actually I just voted on a twitter poll.
Good effort though.

PISTIL PISTOL: BOTANY BLAST II by HacksawUnit 2015-12-14T19:02:00

This is a two button game- you can only hit two buttons!

PISTIL PISTOL: BOTANY BLAST II by HacksawUnit 2015-12-18T22:55:00

Yeah, I didn't want players to have to start over and over because they didn't have fast enough reaction times. I'm going to expand on it, with the main mode having a life bar.

PISTIL PISTOL: BOTANY BLAST II by HacksawUnit 2015-12-20T01:32:00

Thanks! There's actually three separate version of the song that kick in depending on how far you are.

Neo Oxygene by Jwatt 2015-12-15T02:49:00

Hard to understand at first glance, but once you comprehend it, the game is pretty fun! Liked the concept of having to earn power to do basic "game" things like movement and shooting.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Amyounition by HacksawUnit 2016-04-19T02:18:00

The eggplant was supposed to be an easter egg... it does nothing.
