beautiful sprites, but i found the mechanics and controls off-putting.
i love minimalism, but just a *little* more context would have been nice. i didn't have any clue what to do for a good few seconds. having the controls on this ludum dare page would've been nice.
all that said, i LOVE the concept and minimalism of it. it would've been nice to be able to reset a level, because i'm not sure i didn't drive my organism out of the view and i didn't want to completely start over.

When hundreds of people make non-browser games, that means that, to play all of the entries, I would need to download hundreds of games to my computer. I typically use OS X, so Windows-only entries are particularly inconvenient.

really, really cool. it would've been nice if i didn't have to launch a probe *again* to colonize a planet i'd found earlier. if that stuff had been saved, it'd have been a little less frustrating when i lost :)

i read the How To Play, then clicked Play and it didn't go (macbook pro trying to run it in google chrome)
Hm. I'm interested, but I'm also having trouble completing the first level.
Small thing, but pressing ESC should really give players their cursor back.
Big thing: got to the lava level and unlocked the door... but saw no door.
does the game have to be so tall? my macbook pro is at max resolution and i can't fit the whole game into a chrome window.
and how do i win? or is there just a score counter that i can't see?
