LD22 — Alone

Never Alone Hotline by Pierrec 2011-12-20T05:16:00

Being a fan of point and click and visual novels, i loved this game.
Not only was it longer than i expected (which is good), it also dealt with serious problems and non serious problems.
Plus, seeing as i have social phobia, the topic really interested me till the end. Would read again/more :D

Companion by roBurky 2011-12-20T18:26:00

The game would be really good if there were any objectives (which i can see a lot with this), but just wandering around doing nothing just doesn't cut out for me :\.
A restart button (dunno if there's any) after you "die" would be nice too.
The graphics looked nice and fitted the mood.

Mad Trolls by Frugle 2011-12-19T17:41:00

It was a ok game, but the lack of instructions/history/objedctives put me down a bit early on (didn't knew what to do early on, didn't knew how to "craft things", etc). While most of the sounds were quiet, the "death" sound was really loud and spammy.

No Longer Alone by Nightmare 2011-12-20T18:09:00

There were some issues, like having no way to recharge the bullets if you used and picked them all and you got spotted, and the game way too hard, but i guess the game was ok...

Incomitat by Hempuli 2011-12-19T18:17:00

For a game made in 48 hours, its really well made with nice graphics and features. However, while its fun to explore and find out stuff by yourself, i just didn't knew what to do with most of the things...and the hunger didn't help much either (too quick).

My other complain would be the inventory screen, not only is a bit of a pain to switch out items, but from the 3 times i played the game, i managed to break the inventory, having 2 items in 1 slot, having a item on the cursor with the inventory full, unable to switch or drop, etc, so i couldn't finish the game, if there's a end that is.

The Lonely Electron by spiral 2011-12-20T04:30:00

The game was too short and a bit frustrating at times, but it was still a ok game.

A.L.O.N.E. by KunoNoOni 2011-12-20T04:44:00

Gameplay was way too basic for the goal, not to mention the jump mechanics could had been much better. Having said that, had a few chuckles with this game and the title was clever.

YAE! You Against Everyone by Per 2011-12-19T17:51:00

Its was a nice game, however its really hard to hit the enemies (almost based on luck) and the song, while it was decent, didn't looped unless i went back to the menu. Oh, and some of the keys on the "how to play" menu didn't worked.

You wake up alone by nili 2011-12-20T04:35:00

It started out great, even if the gameplay was simple.
Too bad the game was too short :\. Was expecting something from those "ghosts?".

Party Quest: Never Go It Alone by ScreamRawr 2011-12-20T04:18:00

The game looked interesting to play with nice graphics by the screenshots, but i just can't install it, always gives me an error saying i need Microsoft XNA Framework Content Pipeline V4 installed on GAC (Note, i do have XNA framework V4.0 installed). Another thing worth mentioning, installers aren't really recommended unless they're really needed (dunno in this case).

Party Quest: Never Go It Alone by ScreamRawr 2011-12-20T17:59:00

Well, i got it to install and work properly now (redownloaded), but the game just keeps crashing whenever i talk to someone after the merchant (to ask where to get coins).
Because of that, i was unable to progress any further than that, tried 3 times.
Aside from that, the presentation and graphics are really good and the gameplay, although i didn't had a chance to try it out much, looked fun. Really wished i could continue to play the game, but that crash just didn't let me.

Co-op Alone by Zer0XoL 2011-12-20T05:00:00

I had a lot of difficulty with this games, for the wrong reasons :\.
For one, i couldn't open the "controls" menu, so i was lost at how to do stuff (like the C ball things...i don't even know if i missed something else.
Most of the times you're searching for blocks you can move since some of them have the same sprite of the walls (and some are "pretending" to be walls), thats usually a bad move, too much trial and error.
Finally, i got stuck on a room once i used the C ball to open a door.
Still, for a 48 hour game, its decent, but the lack of instructions kind of ruined the game a bit.

The Secluded Cave by Stargoat 2011-12-20T18:17:00

The graphical style was really nice and the gameplay, while it was easy and simple, was fun to play. Would had liked a circle of lightning around your player since most of the times i had troubles checking my surrounding, especially on corridor-like spots.
Another thing i could mention is that its a little short, and you have no indication that the game has an end (looked like a survive till the end game to me, but with no score).

LD23 — Tiny World

Tiny Ferrets by MattDubuc 2012-04-23T13:51:00

Some instructions would be nice, i don't have the slightest idea of what to do or what's happening.

The Underground Court by caranha 2012-04-28T01:43:00

The game suffers from some issues, like the speed the queen starves and frustrating and somewhat unresponsive controls. The cats are also too fast and its hard to run away from them while carrying food.
Aside from all that, it was a decent game and i had fun once i got the hang of it. Didn't beat it though since it was too hard for me.

Thanks for the feedback :).
Glad you guys are enjoying it.

Affinity World by Jilius 2012-04-25T17:51:00

@devwil, @demonpants and @mikolalysenko
Sorry but, from what i know, Game Maker Standard only creates a windows version :(. There is a HTML5 version, but i don't own it at the moment.
Hopefully this will change when Game maker Studio releases, but until then i can only make windows versions, sorry.
