Awesome game! The core game mechanic was really fun and got me hooked enough to play the whole game. It would have been interesting to add more elements to the game mechanic, however, the puzzles were still complex enough. I ran into a bug twice where some of the "lights" would'nt appear at all (I tried rotating all 4 directions all the way through) and I was forced to reset, but it wasn't a huge deal. My only real knock on this game would be that some of the sound effects were a bit too much; like jumping on the bridge and the clanky sounds at the very start of the game. Overall, awesome job! Maybe the best game I've played so far.

In the last stage (I believe it is the fourth), the one with the moving planets and moving asteroids, the level is beat by going through the black hole. It was just an oversight we didn't get to correct as the black hole sends you out of a white hole, into a wormhole (end of the level). However, since our camera doesn't transition instantly, you go from the white hole into the wormhole (which brings you back to the first level since you have won) before the camera can even shift to the wormhole position to show you. So if by "being sent back to the beginning" you mean you the first level, then yes you completed the level/game.

Yeah, I need to streamline it. I will try and do so tonight. Right it is the sound files taking up so much room, so I will probably reupload it or provide an optional link with the same content but with only 2 music tracks instead of the 6.

Thanks! We appreciate the feedback =]. I have just uploaded a new download link that is only 20 MB.

The Lump World by Kralle 2012-04-25T00:27:00

I like the concept and core mechanic of the game. The controls could have been stated a little more clearly (I didn't know to click the planet while holding Q/W). But the game concept is solid, I'm sure you could polish it up with time. The music was creepy, I think it would fit in a horror game.

Also the game bugged out for me and all of my attacker went off the screen into nowhere after I told them to go to a planet. After that It wouldn't let me buy any more units and my miners were mining a planet forever without ever returning.

Fun game! The music is charming, hilarious, and really gives the game a lot of personality. The core mechanic works great and is fun, but collecting particle life is a little too challenging imo. Overall and awesome game =]

I really like the art style and concept. The sound played when text was drawn was a bit too loud and annoying. Other than that, great game, would like to see what you could do with the 3 state mechanic.

Good Job! The graphics are charming and so are the sound effects. I really like the concept of playing against yourself as well.

Combat Cubes by bigbadwofl 2012-04-24T20:43:00

I like the overall concept and feel of the game.
-The sprites were charming in their simplicity.
-The music while not bad, got annoying with such a short loop.
-I like the party members, but it was lame to spend points buying a party member and upgrading them only to have them die because they like to run into the middle of enemies rather than using their ranged spells (priest).

An Hell Of A Kitchen by brus46 2012-04-24T23:22:00

I like the game mechanics and theme. Overall, it was a good game, it just was annoying to have to scroll to see the whole screen, the looping music was a bit annoying, and having to replace each bacteria one by one was tedious. However, these were all kinda minor (other than the scrolling maybe) and the core mechanics kept me playing =]. Though from the thumbnail I thought the game was going to be a game where you played a woman in her small world (the kitchen). Little sad, cause damn that would be an awesome theme.
