Very nice! The only thing I would change would be to widen the screen a bit more so you can see what obstacles are approaching in time.

I beat it! I really liked this game. The moving rooms thing was really cool. I actually like how there is no tutorial, the discovery of what does what is half the fun!
@Cryptoporticus: Hmm, that's weird. I think it has something to do with the static compilation I did instead of using the VS2010 Redistributable Package.
Wow, this game appears to be pretty glitchy. I think it still might be some compiler setting, since the same game engine was used in other games and I never got a single complaint. It seems to be a hit/miss thing. Strange.
Thanks for the feedback! I probably should have tested it to make sure it runs on different systems. I believe the problems arising with the lighting system have to do with the render textures that SFML uses (OpenGL frame buffer objects/Pbuffers). It appears that their OpenGL states are getting messed up somehow. I am still working on a good fix.
@ Mr. Wonko - Go right ahead. If you are interested, the light system can be downloaded separately on the SFML forums. I made it compatible with the normal SFML rendering.
I like the idea, but it seems to be too luck based. Make sure you cannot lose in the first move, and make it clear multiple blocks at a time (as in the original). Then you would only need some sort of climbing mechanic to allow you to get around after large spaces have been cleared.
I really like this game. Finish it! I want to know what happens :)
Cool game! The only problem was that it was very difficult to watch the speech bubbles and the phone at the same time. I ended up looking just at the phone.
My game has the same name :)
Nice game, but very difficult because some platforms have no deceleration time so they just sling you right off when you try to jump.
Nice game! It would be nice if changing the resolution would result in some sort of change in game play though :)
Nice idea, but very glitchy. I keep dying from touching walls for some reason. Also, the rats are often upside-down.
Really nice, I like the artwork. However, the physics were super glitchy.
Fun game, I like the puzzles except for the hunt-the-pixel keys.
Nice game! The buggy sound is a kind of obnoxious though.
Nice game! It would have been nice if you were told what your objective is though :) I assume flying out of the map means I won
Like the others, I was unfortunately not able to play, and therefore cannot rate it :(
There seems to be a problem with the frame independence timer that makes it unplayable on some machines. I hope it is OK if I fix it.
@RadthorDax: That probably means it is erroring out on something specific to your machine. Check the java console, it should say what is wrong. Sorry about that, I shouldn't have gone overboard with the shaders...
Wow, I am not doing LWJGL applets again! Now I myself cannot run it, randomly! It worked fine when it wasn't an applet. Well, thanks for trying guys!
Nice game! Fits the theme well. I think it would be better if the aiming were not inverted though (just a crosshair on the screen).
On my first attempt, the burglar was floating in the air. The second time I was able to play. Fun game!
Nice game! The footprints were a bit difficult to see though.
Fun game! I noticed that I cannot seem to buy items if I have exactly the right amount of gold though.
Well done! I rage quit before I got to the end though! I think it would be nice if there were some sort of visual indicator for when the next control-change will occur. That, or shorter levels, since having to restart the entire level because a control change came by surprise is a bit annoying. Still, it was quite fun! Lots of content for only 48 hours!
A fun puzzle game! It took me a while to figure out that those gray things destroy the bots!
I like the concept! The death particle effects look very nice. The controls were awfully slippery though. Also, are you supposed to be able to wall jump? I was able to skip large portions of levels by hugging a wall and pressing jump in order to float to the top.
I got so many goats that the sign changed!
Nice game! I like the chat going on while you play. The only issues I have with it are that the controls and physics are a bit awkward. Fake ASCII art where the player can move in increments lower than 1 character could aid jumping. Also, bumping into a wall seems to cancel a jump. Still, it was quite fun!
Love the music!
My favorite LD game so far! Nice graphics, and of course awesome physics! However, it would be nice if the bottom-most layer would always be indestructible, since the TNT makes me fall through the floor otherwise.
Keeps freezing after about 2 seconds for me :(
Nice idea, but it needs a threat of some sort.
I like the controls, it is fun to fly around like a drunkard!
Fun game! It needs an incentive for leaving a safe room, since you can just keep pissing without worry. Perhaps more humans?
Nice, tight controls!
I love it!
Nice concept and music! Makes it tense!
I like the idea! The controls are a bit difficult, especially since I keep bouncing off the bottom of the rockets.
Nice art style! The "Run from the developers" part was a bit too difficult for me though :(
Interesting control scheme. The random image flickering was a bit annoying though. Once is enough :)
Funny game, but I couldn't understand why I kept dying!
I like the fighting mechanic. The dialogue was a bit finicky at times.
Nice concept! It doesn't seem to get more difficult though (or maybe not quickly enough?)
I keep blowing myself up accidentally when I tractor buildings XD. Fun game!
Fun game! The controls were tight, and the sound effects were very nice. Some barriers between ladders might spice it up a bit more though!
I fell out of the map when shrinking! Still, it was quite fun.
Solid entry! The goat at the end was rapidly flipping around, I assume this is a glitch.
I like the idea, but the game is a bit slow. I think the creep should expand either super fast or instantly, since I spent most of the time just waiting.
I like the stealth aspect to it. Great entry!
Nice game, but a bit slow and you don't get a lot of feedback. Also: it seems you fire the WHOLE bullet. That's 65% more bullet, per bullet.
Nice! I like the clothe physics. I don't know much about Unity, but it would be nice if I could look the mouse somehow. Also, a mouse sensitivity adjustment slider would be nice.
Pretty difficult but fun!
Fun game, very polished! It was difficult until I figured out that I can spawn trees with space!
Simple but fun! Also, I like the graphics style! Attacking the guards seems a little pointless though, since you can just walk by them out of their agro range.
This would be a great game for tablets and smartphones!
Nice game! The hit boxes are way too large though!
Very crisp graphics!
Nice graphics style! There were a lot of leaps of faith though.
The game stopped when I cut down the tree. It run very smoothly for a flash game though!
The boss was easy until the flying hearts came!
I like the idea! I know you are not supposed to, but I couldn't help just going on a rampage running over other cars!
Wow, great job with the graphics! I might have to look into WebGL myself! Keep working on it, turn it into a real game!
Nice graphics, very polished! One of the best games I have played from this LD so far. It would be nice if the line laser could be moved in a certain direction. It often doesn't choose the most destructive path. Also, the context menu is a bit annoying.
Great graphics! The turrets are very difficult to avoid, it is hard to see the rockets coming.
Nice visual style!
Great entry! I think it could be improved if the boundaries of the map were marked a bit more clearly. I was confused when the plane kept turning around automatically.
I like the hiding animation. Also, the artwork is quite nice. The game is pretty repetitive though, it seems that I can just alternate between hiding and digging forever.
Great physics and graphics! It would be nice if there were a way to lose though.
Great game! A lot of content for such a short time.
Mashing 3 buttons at once, where one must be timed properly, isn't so easy!
It would be nice if the choice were accompanied by some sort of puzzle.
Fantastic game! Fun idea, great execution.
Funny game! The arm sometimes spins such that the camera clips the polygons though.
Great puzzle game!
Pretty fun, kind of moody! The collision detection for the backstabbing seemed a little bit off though.
Pretty fun! It would be nice if you could jump upwards through platforms though.
Crashed on Chrome :(
Impressive! I think the goat needs a buff though.
Nice concept, although things move a bit slowly.
Fun mechanic, reminds me of VVVVVV. I think the particle emitter should emit particles a but faster though, but that is only a minor complaint (very minor).
A nice Gish-like platformer! Pretty tough though, I couldn't get past level 2. Minor complaint: I was able to float off of walls sometimes, allowing me to fly a short distance. Not a useful glitch, but it looks a bit weird.
Very nice graphics and atmosphere! You should continue this project.
When I planted the bomb(s), nothing happened. Is there more than one site? Can I detonate the bombs?
Fun game, I like how it kind of forms chain reactions. It would be nice if you could leave the mouse clicked though.
Funny game! Nice graphics and physics too. Sometimes it stops moving for some reason though.
Nice, but I think it could be improved if the enemies moved in a pattern and not just randomly.
Simple, but fun! The acceleration and deceleration made it a bit unpredictable though.
Great stuff! 5 for humor!
Last city on hard is very difficult to destroy! Fun game though!
Fear the ink!
Very polished looking, but as previously mentioned, the gameplay is quite repetitive. I really like the star field effect!
Damn that boss is hard!
Fun game, I like the money vacuum! I think it would be good if you added an invincibility period after you are put in jail, since often you immediately get thrown in jail again with no chance to escape. Also, the reporters hang on to you while you are in jail!
I like the pencil hand-drawn graphics! The gameplay was pretty fun, but a minimap would definitely have been useful. I was sometimes not sure if whether or not he went up or down, or if the direction you choose matters. Also, the villagers tended to twitch around a lot. Overall though, nice entry!
@OU GDA and @xandy: Hmmm, that's very strange. Could you try updating your graphics drivers?
@tumoxep: Thanks for playing! How were you able to cheat? The last level can be done with only one item, since I made the spikes a bit too wide accidentally. But, it can also be beaten the way it was intended :)
@Swolf: He dies if you make him hit the spikes! Sometimes they will evolve to just give up though.
@Sim: The neural networks have 27 inputs. 2 of them are the x and y distances from the goal (signed), and the remaining 25 form a 5 by 5 grid around the bot that tell it what the tile types are (sort of like vision). There are 3 outputs: move left, move right, and jump. They are all boolean (true if neuron output > 0.5, false otherwise). The networks are recurrent. The structure is evolved as well, so it varies depending on the task. The weights are perturbed by a random amount in a random direction. The bots are evaluated based on how close they got to the princess. Death is not a cost. The version I uploaded ran for only 30 generations, although I should have probably made it go for longer. I was at first concerned about performance, but when I took it out of the IDE it ended up being pretty fast anyways. I chose a average species populations size of 40.
@ethankennerly That's really weird, I thought I fixed this problem. I will have to look into it further I guess.
@Norgg Yup, I found this one too after I submitted the game! The hit box for the spikes are a bit too large, and the AI has no sense of velocity, leading it to die there. Both of these things are fixed in the post-compo version though, check it out!
I like the concept! It would be nice if you could go diagonally and the camera turned with the character though.
Noooo! I ran out of ammo! Nice game, simple but addictive.
Fun game, pretty addictive! Perhaps a bit too luck-based though.
Nice game! It seems that the best strategy was to just twirl like nuts though!
Very well made! The graphics, sound, and gameplay were all quite nice. I liked the voice acting too. I really need to "git gud" though!
Interesting mechanic! Could using some pathfinding though. My minions often get stuck behind walls. Would be a nice multiplayer game!
Very well made! The graphics were very nice! The AI could use some improvement though, the enemies would usually just mindless run into the lasers.
Very nice! But we need to go deeper :)
Funny! I like the voice acting! The controls are a bit wonky; the vertical sensitivity is way less than the horizontal sensitivity. Well done though!
Well made! I like the music and graphics. The main character moves quite slowly though. How short is it supposed to be? I ended with a black screen. Is this intentional?
I really like the mechanic, seems a bit underused though. I mostly just avoided enemies instead of destroying theme. This would make a great multiplayer party game though!
Well made! The controls were a bit awkward though, the need to pick up the poetry with the mouse and not being able to use WASD to move means I have to move a hand every time I pick something up. Still, good job!
Very nice art, I also like the way the eyes of the main character google around. It would be nice if there were an auto-fire though, and one that isn't dependent on your tapping speed.
Very cool physics-based game. Nice music too!
I beat it! Nice game. The collision detection was a bit wonky though, I kept getting stuck on walls, which was a bit frustrating.
Funny game! Seems a bit unbalanced though, I never had problems keeping the barking noises down but just kept getting swarmed. Still, nice game!
@armas0000 you need to install the x64 VS2013 runtime. Usually it is already installed. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
I had some difficulty figuring out what to do, I sort of just walked around aimlessly for around 5 minutes and then died. I couldn't find the caches. But that's probably my own fault. Well done though!
