I like this game alot.
Those two red birds were tough.
The instant respawn and transition are great.
Locked Away definitely stirred up some nostalgia for me.
I'm having 3 issues with this.
1. I don't hear the music.
2. I can't make the the first jump.
3. When I die I don't respawn.
Is there a button to respawn the player?
I've restarted the game 10 times and never made it passed the first jump.
Any tips?
I figured it out.
You can jump mid air while falling.
'R' to restart.
I think I finished it. I'm not sure.
Either I beat the game or was tricked into committing suicide.
I liked it. Some parts were tricky and those sawblades with the square hitbox convinced me to leave a couple log boxes unread.
I had a great time. Thanks.
'E' at the computer terminal.
To Raptor85, yeah the moon was supposed to be the beginning of the second stage, but became the ending.
To caranha, in my panicked rush I told myself Half-life controls would be everyone's default go to control style for first person games. Really I think it's just mine. This mistake will definitely be corrected on re-release and won't be repeated for future entries.
Not bad. Reminded me of Atari days playing Robotron.
It could have greatly benefited from some sound effects.
I ended up making my own sound effects with my mouth while playing.
The mouse sensitivity is a bit high and the arrow is visible on screen and gets locked when it hits the side forcing you to unwind it by spinning the opposite direction.
I liked the in game obstacle construction and the helpless feeling of being overwhelmed.
Overall I enjoyed it.
Take that you non functioning fiend!
Graphics are great and the sound fit.
Controls are a little awkward. The jump was on key release instead of on key down. Also I wasn't sure if the if the mines were hurting me. If they were I didn't have enough of an indication.
The ending is funny.
The audio didn't load for me so I put the music on loop in an external player and I'm glad I did because it's amazing.
I was singing along while gunning down cubemen.
I like Descension alot.
Doesn't run on the iPhone 3GS.
Yup, that did it. It works fine. Testflight was just giving me bad messages. Instead of saying "Hey you gotta wait until you're approved." it said "This device is incompatible."
Anyways, the game is great.
I really love the music and the art.
It is very tough. I couldn't seem to get passed the halfway point.
That paparazzi stun is a killer. Especially right after the lightpole jump.
Fits the theme perfect. Just want to be alone.
I like it.
Stair concept I actually really enjoyed. Got through the game all melee. Leaping down from the stairs mid climb was helpful.
Just one level, but it was one amazingly difficult level. Had fun watching my skill improve bit by bit until I finally beat it. Great music too.
There's some great gameplay when you load up Ratatat.
I really love this game. Music is amazing. Still can't beat the last stage. I'll have to come back to it later.
Runs fine for me. That man's scream is going to haunt my dreams.
This game has charm. I love the animation when you get attacked by goats. It's exactly the way I imagined monkeys react when they get attacked by goats in the wild. Enjoyed it.
Love the art. Dr. Goat has the most villainous leap I've ever witnessed.
I broke it and the game yelled at me. Pretty brutal, even for a Christmas game. Though I enjoyed it. Thanks Joe.
Still haven't broken 100k. Great game.
Really like this game. Art is top notch. 170 is the max in 30 seconds. I want more. Great job.
Jiggawatt you don't use the mouse. I made the mouse cursor disappear so people wouldn't use it, but then I was afraid they wouldn't be able to see it when they needed it, mainly for browsers, so I made it visible when moved. You gotta use the arrow keys and enter. About the installer, last time I gave someone an exe without an installer from GM studio this happened: http://vonzippenstein.com/imagelinks/gmstudioexe.png
Thanks for the feedback everyone. Haven't heard one thing I disagree with. Next challenge I'll try to do some better gameplay and design planning.
