The Sky in the Room by Porpentine 2012-09-02T21:14:00

Wow, very interesting, slightly disturbing, must be willing to put up with a little confusion/not understanding what is going on to play, for others wondering if they should take the time to play this, it is definitely worth a spin!

I will admit that I haven't taken the time to rate most games, and I only checked this one out because I noticed you wrote it in Twine (I had planned to do a Ludum Dare in Twine as well).

While I am not going to continue to play it until I explore every possible path (sorry :( ) I want to thank you for making this interesting game!

The Sky in the Room by Porpentine 2012-09-02T21:39:00

Also, I think there is something wrong with your source download. I thought I'd have a look ;) and when I downloaded the source, I got an .rtf with all the text and twine won't open it. My version of Twine (1.3.5, which seems to be the latest) wants a .tws file.

I am not sure this is how you wanted to distribute your source file.

Robot wars by laaph 2012-08-29T00:28:00

Nate: Actually the non random bits aren't working, and I had meant to fix them and submit them in time for the jam. I burned out and didn't pull it off.

Robot wars by laaph 2012-12-09T05:43:00

I moved things on my server, and now if you really want to download it, go here: http://laaph.com/?page_id=29

I'm not sure how to change the download locations in the links above.

The Crown Jewels Job by Will Edwards 2012-12-18T05:57:00

Works now. Beautiful! Lovely background music! It says HTML5 Audio is not supported on my browser, so no sound effects, but I still get background music.

Fun and cute! Did not manage to upload anything. :(

The Vault by mrfreire 2013-01-04T22:31:00

Would be awesome, but the collision detection is such that it makes it very hard to go down the narrow tunnels. It would be nice if there was some snapping to the grid or just something that would make it easier to so I didn't bonk in to walls every time I tried to go down a hallway.

Otherwise very nice.

RoboChicken Pooper by canary40 2012-12-30T20:57:00

Cool art, and now you have a running start on the next Ludum Dare/other game jam! Better luck next time! I didn't rate anything, or at least I don't think I did.

Rise of S**tler (NSFW) by drakaru 2013-01-04T22:55:00

Well done! Love the audio. Not an easy game.

TWIRL - THE HAIRY HEIST by mtrc 2013-01-03T01:25:00

This game is awesome! Better than some of the so-called "finished" games out there.

Cute, loved the skull that looks like an audio cassette from back in the day.

Trina of The Depths by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2012-12-18T06:23:00

This is awesome! Interesting controls, strange game play, not exactly theme-keeping but awesome nonetheless.

Trolls: Where the Sun Don't Shine by Starspell 2012-12-19T01:37:00

Not working for me (Tuesday 17:36 PST). All I get is a white box where a game should be :( tested in Firefox and Chrome, both on OSX 10.7.

Trolls: Where the Sun Don't Shine by Starspell 2012-12-19T01:40:00

My bad! It's just the loading takes so long that I thought it wasn't loading. As someone above said, a loading screen would have helped.

Universal Destroyer.jar by Thepattybeast 2012-12-18T06:05:00

It's not working on my machine :( OSX, default Java install for 10.7.

praporomsk by praporomsk 2013-01-04T22:47:00

I downloaded the source, compiled it, and played it on the iPad Simulator. Interesting, to say the least. Using the simulator instead of a real iPad (I don't own an iPad) made for a little trickiness as I couldn't move and shoot at the same time, but I still managed to wander around houses and eventually get enough money to buy the weed.

Cool game.

Crime Scene by saulotti 2012-12-19T01:18:00

Very interesting idea. Kind of hard. Took a few plays to understand what I was doing (the ingame explanations don't quite make sense, the directions for input are only put on this webpage).

Awesome entry! Despite the short loop, I loved the music! The puzzle mechanics were tricky but I made it through all 8 levels (though it tells me there was an easier solution on level 8)! Strange and odd feel and look, but well done!

Adventure by laaph 2013-05-02T19:14:00

The Twine section is a big cheat. I took screenshots and used them as textures. Then I did

Ray ray = Camera.mainCamera.ScreenPointToRay(Input.mousePosition);
if(Physics.Raycast(ray, out hit, 250f))

to figure out where on the wall the mouse was clicked. Then I just checked to see if they were within the bounds of the blue text (manually figured out the coordinates).

I should bung my game in to github, but Unity and source control never play nice, but with the promo code I got from Ludum Dare I should have the checkbox that says "play nice with source control".

Adventure by laaph 2013-08-26T03:41:00

I don't know where you can edit old entries here, but you can find this and more here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59395735/GameJams/gamejams.html - but the thing I wanted to add was linux builds and source files to the entry.

RogueOut by badlydrawnrod 2013-05-13T17:34:00

I too had to do java -jar RogueOut.jar, but I love it!

One comment, I am so used to breakout games where if you hit the ball (er, adventurer) on the side of the paddle, it changes the angle of bounce. With it being constant, I assume you can determine the order of things you will hit? (Deaths and potions not withstanding, of course)

Another comment, once potions start falling, I can collect them so fast that I have no idea what they are doing and what's going on.

But still awesome.

I am entirely unclear on what I was supposed to do in this game.

Dungeon Crawling Simulator 2013 by MrBlade 2013-09-04T06:54:00

Interesting, but fell in to the trap of old adventure games where I have to guess what to type to get it to do what I want (I got stuck on the "corner door").

Ephemeral by Delca 2013-09-04T06:25:00

Very nice. I got stuck on level 2. :( The controls are a bit difficult; I would hit jump, and then hit forward, but he would forward and then jump. Went through all sorts of contortions to get the effects I was looking for; gave up.

Long Live the Queen by turnip 2013-12-16T20:15:00

One at a Time by Elforama 2013-12-16T06:57:00

I didn't think much of this game... until I started playing it! Awesome game. Takes a little getting in to. The controls are a bit odd - I find for best results, to do a run-and-jump, I run first, and before I completely slow down, I just, otherwise the jump doesn't occur.

This game is rather awesome!

Very impressive. I can't decide if I love this game or hate this game, which must be a good thing, I guess.

I played the submitted version, and then I played the post-compo version. The addition of the animations and fixed up text make all the difference in the world with regards to playability.

The levers on the top floor open the crates. There is indeed a way to get to the layer with the jewelry. It took a lot of testing to verify this. :)

Multitask Dancing by buddhaman 2015-12-21T07:27:00

Yay a dancing game! Awesome awesome awesome! I scored 180 on the hardest mode!

My only complaint is that it was hard to determine what counted as a success or not! Maybe some better feedback for a sense of timing. It seemed that hitting arrows on the beat wasn't exactly it, but maybe I was supposed to be hitting on the next beat? It wasn't clear to me.

naïade by Pol 2016-01-01T23:41:00

It's too bad you caught me on holiday, I have a leap motion at home but I couldn't bring it with me! I can't try it until I get home after the ratings are done. (Actually I get home Sunday night, which might be just enough time to squeeze it in.)

Life of the Party by laaph 2015-12-16T23:47:00

I had some issues because my version didn't have a "Build for windows" button. It turned out that if you do a default install on newer versions of Unity, it won't build for windows! Anyway, I reinstalled and made a Windows build.

Cheers!

Life of the Party by laaph 2015-12-23T04:44:00

Eingya, thank you for making the video! I finally watched it! I always appreciate watching people playing and commenting because I can see how they react to it.

Life of the Party by laaph 2016-01-02T06:38:00

You can blame all the frustrating controls on me. mcfearless999 was with me until the end, but the rest of the group made their assets and left; I'm not even sure if they've played the game!

I had been thinking about an iphone version of this game; in that you would have arrows or something indicating what the next move will be. Would that clear up some frustration if you had a visual indicator indicating what direction the buttons would do?

(I think I'm the only person who doesn't find the controls too frustrating; but then again I'm the one to blame for them.)

STEEL GEAR CHAOS by FireSlash 2017-05-16T23:53:53Z

It took me longer than I should admit to learn that I need to save some movement for attacking after moving everywhere. Once I figured that out, it was pretty simple.

Interesting idea! Definitely could be fleshed out more! Lovely implementation!

Toy Run by TimBeaudet 2017-05-17T03:42:40Z

Woo fun! I learned the controls the hard way (I should have read comments first!). I didn't figure out sliding until the last level. Background audio is excellent, squeaking bunny is annoying but actually fits with the theme. Art is lovely.

PS: TimBeaudet, you haven't been playing any games? Is that what the statistics tell me?

Earth Quest by Jiri_One 2017-05-14T21:06:20Z

Like everyone else, I'm confused on what I should be doing. Maybe graphics of people getting squished by trees, or snorting oil, or some other way to provide feedback of what I'm doing is or isn't working.

Also it took me a long time before I realized I was trying to buy stuff but didn't have the money to do so. It sounded like a click!

Interesting ideas, first time I've seen a "clicker" type game in LD!

Thank you for playing our game Jupiter! Too bad you didn't get past the first level! (there are three)

Finding your loved one by Laaph 2017-05-16T20:56:48Z

@kate-kligman, I wrote that on a bottom end 2014 Macbook pro (tested on firefox though)! I'm surprised the difference in stuttering!

@g12345 I was thinking the controls on your entry were so solid and so smooth that I could never pull that off, and here you are saying you can't think of how to make things I did! (Unity does make it easy, I just scaled it, and I don't think I did anything else, leading to the oddities of jumps get bigger and movement feels faster when small.)

Finding your loved one by Laaph 2017-05-16T23:33:55Z

In another thought for performance, you might want to download the executable. I know that web based stuff can sometimes bog my computer.

Finding your loved one by Laaph 2017-05-18T06:04:25Z

@megabrutal sorry about the keyboard difficulties. I sometimes type on a Turkish keyboard; I should know better. I actually jumped around the possible inputs for larger and smaller; they are mapped to standard Unity fire1 and fire2 (alt and control), and those buttons should still work if you want to use them, but I found them painful to use. If you use the downloadable executable you should also be able remap them via the standard Unity launch screen.

Space Brawls by jcsirron 2017-05-09T20:35:45Z

This is an interesting game, the controls are not what I'd expect (right to shoot, up/down to strengthen power of shot), but still pretty cool!

The random obstacles seemed to win me more games than actually shooting the other guy out of the sky did.

Inside Inc. by OWC 2017-05-14T20:56:39Z

Over all I'm very impressed! In another age, this was my favorite kind of game! The controls are awesome, though I couldn't manage with my trackpad, but when I plugged in my mouse it was very smooth and lovely to play with. The other thing I note is you have multiple types of enemies, something I always plan to do during my game jams and never manage to find time for!

The Tipping Point by foolmoron 2017-05-17T03:57:06Z

Definitely an interesting game, but it was hard to follow everyone in the whole game and I certainly did not play until I made 1000 friends. Quite impressive!

No One's Planet by Kate Kligman 2017-05-14T22:01:11Z

This was a fun cute thing! As others have said, I've played telnet based games in the past but it's been a long time. The game itself seemed like there was no game (unless I played so perfectly I didn't even see obstacles?). I did wonder if the space time tears were just bugs you decided not to fix :p

I loved the humor.

Very cute, very cute ending. I tried collecting all the dots after I got to the ending screen, and I'm not sure if the effect I saw was supposed to happen or a happy accident or a not so happy accident. Either way this is a very nice little work!

Smalltrek by impbox 2017-04-24T06:13:45Z

This is a lovely well done game!

It appears I've hit a bug on the mac version where I can only play the first level.

Font is slightly hard to read, but sound and graphics and even retro text is really cute. Lovely game!

Edit: I've played a bit more after the bug fix, and it's still an awesome game. I got to level 8 or 10 or something before realizing it's midnight on a day before work.

Good job! Sorry I haven't gotten to the end yet though.

Tiny Battlehex by meisterfuu 2017-05-10T00:17:32Z

Well done! I thought a lot of the things Scriptorum also thought, but this was a nice job in the LD time!

I agree with Scriptorum, slow down spawn rate, "send half" should be something else, and audio feedback when sending troops would be really nice.

You Are World. by amras0000 2017-05-02T18:10:50Z

This is a beautiful game! You didn't provide a mac download, so I downloaded the Unity source and hit "play" in the editor. When I got to the "Destroy it. Press space", pressing space caused a spinning beach ball and I had to force quit Unity.

I suppose running from source might lead to unexpected bugs! Also, I don't know how the guys with fancy video cards are getting on, but with my onboard graphics, this game runs pretty slow.

Having mentioned all that, this is lovely! I love the concept, the art is awesome, I didn't notice until much later that you can zoom in and out to peer at the "life", and I love all the ideas contained within! Beautiful!

Timmy and the Snowflake by C0nst4ntin 2017-05-14T20:33:27Z

I just wrote a game with bad controls, so I can't complain too much, but controls definitely need some work.

The story/background was quite nice.

While jumping around is definitely something used for challenge in some games, I found this not challenging at all. But without some better controls I would not want to attempt more challenging jumps.

Nice work!

Newbie God by nuria-fl 2017-05-16T23:39:29Z

The game play is simple and short, but hilarious and sweet. The audio is awful and I notice you didn't have it in your scoring section. The exaggerated emotions of the characters plus the ridiculous god powers (when at first only "Wrath of God" seems to be what you can use) really make the game. I love it.

Djinn Duel by Corco 2017-05-11T17:36:55Z

Quite a cute game! As others have said it does seem to be a guessing game of what your opponent will do. It might be more fun against humans when you can try bluffing or hinting where you might or might not go, or giving squares bonuses or penalties or both so that there are places you might guess where they can go or not go.

Lovely work!

Globe Trot by Richard Michael Smith 2017-05-09T20:07:38Z

This game is awesome! I love the idea. The camera is very difficult. The controls are very difficult too, but I figured it out, you are trying to have a relative to the ship control, which means if I go down, then I'll turn around again and again. I know this is a normal control scheme (I've used it many times myself!) but I found it a little difficult in this game.

As someone else said, I was really wishing the score was still on the screen when the "Game Over" sign came up.

This is an awesome work and although the flaws are big it is still very impressive for a weekend!

Snowglobe by Wati888 2017-05-17T00:10:39Z

Lovely game, though a bit easy in its current form I think! It also took me forever to figure out what stone was for (I had to quit/restart the game to be able to read the directions again, and then I realized my tower had never taken damage!). (I did not keep playing to level 15, reading comments, perhaps it gets harder.)

Very nice work!

Every Man's Sky by blaster391 2017-05-09T19:58:28Z

I will try it if you make the "more versions coming soon" as advertised!

Every Man's Sky by blaster391 2017-05-14T21:17:19Z

@blaster391 notifications still don't work, so I didn't see this!

I'm on a mac, so if you make a mac build I'll play it.

Sticky Keys by thevaber 2017-05-17T04:03:02Z

Excellent presentation, the graphics and visuals work well together, the clickings of the keyboard work well with that. Very well done!

Cosmic Cleaner by Burgee 2017-04-25T23:10:31Z

This is a lovely game and well polished for 48 hours! I am quite impressed!

Cosmic Cleaner by Burgee 2017-05-02T17:38:31Z

Rating this game is difficult because this game is so well polished and my expectations from a Ludum Dare games is normally so low.

My World by ciderWrath 2017-05-18T07:12:46Z

I loved the art! I played through once, I'm not sure if there are multiple endings or not but when I went to play again to see other options... well I played through once... 🙄 Hopefully that's enough to give a review.

I slightly disagree with OccultOne, although you are blatant with the "drug use" concept, a violent/druggie father can be very over-the-top.

Lovely work!

Desktop Adventure by Gama Croma 2017-05-18T06:38:16Z

Very cute! Fun little game. I found the controls a little frustrating but I'd say you did much better than I did with making a platformer! I found the "Help" and "Team" buttons not working after I had started playing, at a couple points when I got stuck I started clicking around things and desktop widgets did not behave as expected. Another random suggestion I'd make is to have more variety in file names.

Very nice!

LD39 — Running out of Power

Escapade ! by Togimaro 2017-08-01T17:22:33Z

Very fun game! Very hard! Like others I was confused as to which way to go, and where I respawned. I think I had a bug when I changed a screen, and then (I think) I was stuck off screen and I couldn't do anything, though the jump noise happened when I jumped, and when the clock timed out I went back to normal mode.

Hamster Wheel Simulator by Laaph 2017-08-01T17:32:37Z

I tried to calibrate it so that the 1st level is too easy, the second level is appropriately difficult, and the third level would be very challenging. Clearly my fingers move too slow for everyone else.

Going too fast was supposed to affect the progression, but like many other features (including the hamster dance song), it didn't quite go in on time. Look for that in the post compo version.

Hamster Wheel Simulator by Laaph 2017-08-03T00:03:45Z

I uploaded a new linux version which is universal, hope that helps.

I noticed for both windows and linux, the 32 bit versions were default. Why not universal?

Hamster Wheel Simulator by Laaph 2017-08-04T17:40:50Z

@Cosmo-LC I hadn't thought of opening the source, there isn't any magic in that, but I could put it on github. It was planned to have an android version until I bumbled over finding velocity in Unity. I can do that manually (well I did do it manually, but I didn't average it enough to make it useful - can you give any pointers with working with a GPS in Unity? I get lat/long no problem, but the updates are chunky, and it doesn't automatically give velocity, compared to working with iOS.

But I did write the code to use the GPS instead of the arrows, and it does run on my phone. If I can get the velocity to behave smoothly I'll release the apk.

Power Grid Graph Nightmare by ultrarat 2017-08-02T18:45:06Z

Very nice! As someone who also tried to use SDL and remember the lazyfoo SDL tutorials, I'm impressed! It's the pipe game all over again. For those struggling with not many choices, remember you can zigzag back and forth. Sure it will cost more pipes but it might be fewer than leaving pipes all over the map.

Battery Life by justinooncx 2017-08-03T19:23:19Z

I spent longer on your game than any other so far (2000 seconds). I very challenging game. I would almost complain about the unfair challenge but it actually works, the only unfairness I could possibly state is the red boxes give no warning and the timing such that I can't tell when they will change or if its random or if I've spent too long on red boxes.

Very cool game! Very well done!

Hamster Habits by Rongo Matane 2017-08-03T20:06:03Z

I found a bug where after the night hit, morning came and we had another shoot the sperm scene, except I was standing and she was sleeping in bed. After that happened, it ticked another year.

Interesting game, excellent graphics, excellent idea. I think making the hamster walk faster (or perhaps as a powerup?) would make the game more fun, he walks slow!

Power Tower by AncientEntity 2017-08-01T06:53:34Z

Simple fun frustrating controls but not so frustrating as to distract. The randomness is random, and the first game I played I got maybe a score of 8 without seeing a single banana.

Temple of Illumination by Johngun 2017-08-01T17:52:42Z

Very beautiful game, the music is impressive, the art is impressive, the controls are very impressive.

It is also a very unforgiving game! Still very fun.

Run Meatbag Run by mcfearless999 2017-08-03T18:24:32Z

It seems the bug where all shelves are knocked over still exists in the game!

Exponential Maintenance Engineer by nintendoeats 2017-08-02T04:53:29Z

A very interesting game! Took me a second try to wrap my brain around what I was supposed to do, but once I got it, it wasn't hard. I found that determining what the rockets would hit wasn't exactly clear, I just moved the planet so stuff was over there and hoped for the best.

Kind of like a 3D tetris?

Power Plant by Autumnotopia 2017-08-02T18:22:08Z

Beautifully done! I loved the art, the background music was lovely, and the game play is nice.

My only nitpick is that the puzzles are two easy! Once I figured out how the various items behaved it was really easy to get through all the levels.

Escape Velocity by Bonelazy 2017-08-01T06:55:20Z

Here is says there is a mac build, but on itch.io I didn't see it?

Wave by logiraffe_shawn 2017-08-02T05:24:18Z

This is a beautiful game with a beautiful ambiance. I kept wanting to be able to do something, to be able to move my light over darkened fish and wake them up again.

When It Counts by http404error 2017-08-02T20:11:19Z

I don't know how to rate the fun, it always makes me 😢

Otherwise it's lovely! I like the fading effect and the dialog and everything.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Maze Crawler by Hilvon 2017-12-18T11:11:49Z

The weird lack of camera movement both makes keeping track of the maze easier (I always get confused when the camera turns around in a maze) but definitely leads to odd things (I get to see through walls and running backwards I don't see what I'm running in to).

Very nice!

Maze Crawler by Hilvon 2017-12-18T11:23:53Z

@Hilvon nothing is broken, I'm just silly enough that I never thought to move the mouse. :p

Maze Crawler by Hilvon 2017-12-18T12:23:04Z

@Hilvon nope, was using the keyboard, just didn't occur to me to see what the mouse did. I don't own a game controller either, I keep thinking I should pick one up but haven't done so yet either. And I always find myself asking other people if the game works as expected when I try to add controller support.

LD42 — Running out of space

Immortals (and Mr Pickles) by voxel 2020-05-01T14:12:05Z

I came here to rate a game, and after I played, I find it was made for LD42, not LD46. Ah well. :)

This game was... depressing, I would say.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Tiger Zoo by headchant 2020-04-25T14:32:59Z

Very fun cute game! I did not find the "surprising depth and strategy", I just was working on getting the few combinations that I understood working together.

The faces reminded of the characters from Duolingo! Was that intentional?

I also struggled with no zookeepers when I had tigers, no tigers when I had zookeepers, or no meat when I had both. By the time that was all sorted out, the customers left!

Protect It by Laaph 2020-04-21T14:12:24Z

I made a post-jam edit! I added "space" and "enter" as keys that are considered for restarting the level/game. As this is just a quality-of-life enhancement, I don't think I'm breaking the spirit of LD by doing so.

Interstellar Connection by celia14 2020-05-10T20:02:38Z

Beautifully done! The design is lovely, the story keeps you going, it all works together well! Everything is balanced and smooth! Lovely!

Pig For Slaughter by PotatoAndTaco 2020-04-22T21:02:37Z

I strangely like the "Please don't leave the game" message.

Tower Defence of the Heart by terry 2020-04-23T16:21:40Z

Very nicely done! I could not figure out how to restart the game without just reloading the webpage after I lost :( which I did more often than I'd like to admit.

Evergreen by RAFFE 2020-04-22T20:50:32Z

This is quite beautiful! I also didn't play until the third year, and it took me quite some time before I realized I could zoom underground and chase those bugs away too!

Hope by Darylsteak 2020-04-22T14:49:24Z

It's lovely! I didn't play enough to feel I could honestly give a review, unfortunately. I got inside the building, and as I did everything/die and restart the level/as things go on, the game got slower and slower. I'm playing on a mac so downloading a win exe won't work for me.

Also, it would be nice if I could hit a button to skip the opening scenes, since I restarted a few times to see if it I could get the original speed going.

What I saw was very nice though!

Hamorigami by bitbrain 2020-05-04T21:52:13Z

I also didn't understand what was happening to make me lose. Having said that, this is a beautiful game, and the music was lovely.

Buzz the Fly Gardener by Flying Dog Fish 2020-04-26T11:11:56Z

Lovely game! My only complaint is that I got stuck under the flower pot before the snails came, and I eventually reloaded the webpage rather than wait for the plant to die.

Keep it Lit! by mharring 2020-05-04T22:35:41Z

Very nicely done! I loved the extra sound effects (like when you put the duck on the fire). The animations, sounds, and art all work well together!

It gets quite hard at the end! The one time I thought I was going to make it, the character threw the things on the ground instead of in to the fire!

Keep Gannet alive by Monish Vyas 2020-05-05T00:13:19Z

The music fits the game very well! As do the simple faces! Gameplay, as it is, is not exciting... perhaps some variety or something (yes I know it might take more than 48 hours) could spice it up.

Pogo by Motley 2020-05-10T08:12:35Z

This definitely feels like an old arcade game I have forgotten. It's very difficult and yet fun in a strange way. Well done!

Oblivious Olivia by daichifob 2020-04-23T08:45:40Z

This is a cute lovely game! The art is very nice and reminded me of "Out of this world". This kind of low-res art is an inspiration to us who can't make art (or maybe a frustration, since I can't make low-res art look good either!).

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Tic-Tac-Run! by mvasko2 2021-05-09T14:53:47Z

I love the idea! The is cool but I am not the biggest fan of endless runners. The music is awesome! I think snappier controls could have made this game more fun.

Falling For Treasure by Laaph 2021-05-15T10:55:09Z

@peace-of-cake-games The phone camera actually sucks, it just comes out decent looking after post processing. I keep meaning to write up how I do it, since I think I have a method that works and should be applicable to anyone. Basically, I draw on graph paper (the lighter the graph paper the better, of course). I photo it. I put it in to Gimp, which has functionality to straighten out an image. I use the graph paper lines to straighten out the image. I then use the levels functionality to eliminate any of the non-dark lines, and then cast it to black-and-white, which become the line drawings you see in the game. I then use Gimp and a drawing pad to color in the hand drawn graphics.

Falling For Treasure by Laaph 2021-05-15T15:55:37Z

I should also comment the background was done by drawing some bricks, and then using gimp's tiling tool to make it fill a screen. I had no idea it would come looking that good.

Falling For Treasure by Laaph 2021-05-19T12:40:47Z

Next time there will indeed be more turtles. :turtle:

Now you see me by Haiyoooo 2021-05-15T14:21:35Z

I could not get the web version to run. :slight_frown:

Halt by Teto 2021-05-10T09:38:03Z

Excellent game! I could not figure out the grappling hook. I mean, I shot it a couple times, but it never seemed to shoot when I was trying to shoot it. But other than that, it was a fun game! Cute enemies, sound is better than you imply in the above text, most importantly cute cat! Not too hard, not too easy (pretty easy though :P ), quite well done!

Dreadnought Parlance & the Magic Pearl by DecrementedPalindrome 2021-05-15T22:35:35Z

I love the catchy music! This is a fun game!

Also love the "how to play" screens! Very nice!

Aftermath by Peace Of Cake Games 2021-05-15T14:18:35Z

I love this! It's not the greatest game but I love this sort of homemade feel. I love the music, as others said, it's very well creepy. I am curious what program you used to make the font - font-makers unite! :fist_tone2:

Run little one, run by Para_no_ 2021-05-09T15:06:09Z

I found the controls painful but I love the idea, excellent concept, as someone with a cat I know he is thinking these thoughts every so often. I managed to rack up the time survived by hiding under a table but did not get down the stairs.

Deeper & Deeper by Ironicnet 2021-05-09T15:01:24Z

I loved the whole package, but I could not get past the second level. I loved how the the remnants of the previous play (one or both characters) are still on the screen when you get to try again.

Jungle Navigator by lemonsaurus 2021-05-10T10:44:51Z

I also came here with the request to skip dialog you've already seen.

I love the "visual novel" style and the simple options, but I quickly lose patience to keep playing through to see to the end.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Snoodoku! by Laaph 2018-04-26T06:33:37Z

A thousand apologies, the game was uploaded with the "Mac" button pressed instead of the "HTML" button. That's fixed now.

I also want to change the game status to "Unfinished". Because, although almost everything works, it won't tell you that you won. Or, at least I feel it is unfinished. It also won't give the markers that you are doing well. Yep, it shouldn't be compo, it should be jam.

Thank you for trying to play my game!
