Beautiful graphics and animation, but experienced some lag.
They are some good ideas (gameplay, shoot to move, score tab...) but the game is a bit difficult and redundant.
Good idea but too much tilting and we need to spam the keys to move.

Nice graphics(explosions, tank, houses) but too hard, 6 seconds is the maximum I could hang on. I can see the bomb too late.

I really like this game! My computer shut down while trying so I restarted the game to continue playing! The graphics and audio fit perfectly (exept the firt guy when he takes damage is a bit stressful). I would like the battle animation a bit quicker too, but nice gameplay

It wasnt very fun, and we dont really know what choices have impacts on the end.
Perfect gameplay, and I enjoyed unlock all the characters. It should be good too in multiplayer. But the game isnt so optimized for pc. It is hard to play the goblin with the keyboard and please dont choose shift for a key that is supposed to be spammed ! (sticky keys each 30 seconds)

The sounds were cool, as the idea. But I didn't understand that I should hit the frog. I tried once but not long enough so I wandered why I was failing. Else the controls were embarassing because I dont have a qwerty keyboard.

I miss some sounds. The theme is originally applied but it could be more fun to play. Maybe by increasing the speed.

It is a relaxing game. I experimented some troubles with the bird that didnt want to fly sometimes.
There were too much and too quick information for my eyes. My head is turning, really. Good job on the pixel art and music.

I made 6510. Congrats for your first game, it is such a great work. I really loved switching between shaped because they are perfectly balanced. The sounds, font, lazer speed are amazing.

To make the game less difficult (hard to jump through walls, rolling off platform) you could add visual indications like shadows, lights...
I liked to hear the music it made. At the beginning I thought I could never associate which color go with which arrow but finally it came very quickly ! Maybe put score when loosing could make it more interesting for sharing

Hi, this game is really enjoyable, I like to discover all the combos I can do. My robot broke so easily though! But one of my favorite games, and work of a pro.

I was hoping to play a dynamic game like this on LD 37. Very enjoyable to play with power ups and different waves. I put you very good notes.
I liked the idea of controlling one character that controls another, it reminds me of my LD34 entry. Controls, sound grpahics are well done together. The sad point is that it seems that there is no end point, or I havent been far enough ?

We had fun playing this game! Good use of the perspective for a 3D scroller. It was funny to block the ennemie's shot. We would love to get some powerups like multiple shots / high speed / bulletproof...

The fact that you are on a tiny platform makes the game difficult when you try to flee from the ennemy. I found it a bit difficult because I died too quicky so many times! Maybe I am noob or maybe the character has too few health. I appreciate the graphics and sounds. The models are awesome.
The visual is pretty astonishing (in WebGL in addition !). For the next time as an advice, think firstly of the scenario and gameplay before to start the dev. A game with good gameplay but ugly graphics worths more than a polish game with no gameplay. I didn't want to be rude of course :)

I put the volume at maximum, then I lost my ears :dizzy_face: but you warned :laughing:! Beautiful graphics and enjoyable gameplay ! I won on my first try. The kind of 2D space is strange but does the trick. It would be a better challenge I think if the color of planet would change slowly with the color of the team that controls. At the end, the team that has the highest percentage of control of the planet wins.
To finish, the game would be soooooo funny in multiplayer :rofl: Please do it !

Special mention on the graphics and effects. The athmosphere is really sweet, I appreciate being in this world. Congratulations for the idea of moving the planet, out of the box! I really like this idea of tower defense of a planet :) A lot of fun. You should put very low the sound of missiles (or shut it down) because it is quite redundant.
The goal was not clear, I was wondering if the game will finish or not. Very nice graphics and sound. You should add the story inside the game. For exemple "I need to repair my ship" , "I have got to find the spare parts" , "I will destroy this to repair my ship".
Very astonishing graphics and ambiance! The effects are extremely beautiful even on WebGL. You found a original gameplay with the rotating light that opens doors. But you could have gone further with that (I'd liked to see new mechanics come in following levels).
Real like this game! I feel the universe of the description while playing. The theme is respected and used in the gameplay in a original way (tourning round). When you are upside down it is not easy to direct my self but I take it as a challenge. The powers are well thought (used the shield while the dash was charging it often saved my life :thumbsup:).I noticed deep efforts on the graphics (deformations / glitch) that makes the universe unic.
This is a nice take of the theme, and an unseen gameplay. The music is well adapted with the ambiance. It was not clear what actions were right and what were wrong : I didnt understand why I died. Maybe you could add a tutorial ingame? The next step can be add more variety to levels. Good job!
Hi, what an amazing mood, graphics and take of the theme. But I had some trouble to apprehend the controls.
Fun game. You were ambitious (a whole district, mini map, several objectives).
The graphics are a little too minimalists. Try to move away from the template.
I think the significiance of this game is high because it looks like a scientific game. It is well executed and you make the player create something, which is great. What misses is a music, and you chose the perfect one in the post version. This addition of moons is my second favourite feature. Looking at my small world operating was quite enchanting :baby:

I played with mouse and keyboard and I had some trouble to get used to the controls (move in 3d space). The athmosphere was magical, and we really sense that the world is huge.
I am impressed by the quality of the game. The best points are the characters / animation and the gameplay. I think the level design could have been improved despite the visible efforts. I think I found a bug because I unfortunatly killed all my units and I could'nt get any other until the end. The "to improve" point is the sound design, the music was too few noticable and the fire noice a bit annoying after some time. Overall, I enjoyed to fight for the safety of my precious burger :)
Fun game with original scenario and good map to play in. I liked to fire with the gun but was frustrated of having so few ammos. You need so much farming to get one bullet. Well done for the hat animation on death :sunglasses:

I am a big fan of Age of Empire, Galactic Battleground, Dawn of War so I really liked your game ! The music is perflectly epic for the game and the graphics are powerful :smile: So sad I can't resist any longer, maybe it would be better if we can have a farmer after some time when we havnt enough money. I would have liked the feature of fighters having the possiblity to focus on ennemies.
It is really impressive that just pixels can make us feel emotion! I firstly was shocked that the game ended without "actions" needed. But then I realized that I really enjoyed the walk in the snow, and it did the trick for a nice experience. Well done on this.

@candlesan Yeah the beetle uses its back paws to push its dung. We hesitated for the grab feature but the gameplay is based on not letting your ball fall, so it should'n be too easy.

Very nice graphics and effects. The movable zone to defend is a innovative idea. The controls were not enough comfortable in my opinion. The ia was not smart enough to make the game challenging...
Very beautiful and complete game. It is nonetheless quite hard to master, you should add a tutorial in game next time. Very appreciate the sounds and light effects !
The art is clearly your strongest point. The intro is staggering. The characters are high-detailed and funny. Same for the scenery. I really loughed with the Trump head too :laughing:. A possible way of improvment may be several weapons. Also it was a little laggy on my computer.
Very nice cinematics (and scenario)! You shoud focus on that for your next games. The jump is not usual but we are in space, aren't we :) ? Great job to have the time to code IA of ennemies + turrets and make cinematics in a game jam. The runner / plateformer is a perfect combo. The piano was funny, maybe you can think about taking lessons ;)
30 days at last! It is a very innovative gameplay. I didn't understand what I need to do at first (I was eating the panet) but after I remember how and I launch the game and it was pretty logical :smile: Maybe you can add some text "You burnt your planet" and "an asteroïd kill your planet"*

The game is a good idea but you could have pushed the gameplay further. (by making it more reactive, bringing more interesting powers) Next time, try to fine modelers in order to show your own universe.

This game gave me sea sick :confounded: The controls were hard to master. On the other hand, the graphics are astonishing, the physics effective. I particularly appreciated the slow motion when you punch a ball :astonished:
Good die and retry game. I had to retry at least 50 times to win the first level. JUMP BEFORE GOING FORWARD :smile:! In the second one I was thrown away when trying to catch the keys, not understanding really why. The multiple camera views are unsual but a positive point because it suited with the gameplay. The main point is the mood, with coherent music and graphics.
Great job on your game! I wonder how you've been able to do this in 48h. It is really fun to play and the controls is easy to take in hand. I appreciate the randomness of world and musics. The fact to destroy really increase the interest of the runner - the effects are so nice.
I think you slighty changed the theme from "A small world" to "Small worlds" but it is ok :smile:
I had fun playing this game! Firstly, it is really beautiful: the models, the colors and the effects are really nice altogether. I enjoy to FIGHTTT with my different powers, felt high-powered!! I could say that adding mana would be more challenging but... It is so good to feel like Palpatine Emperor "No limits to my... powa!!!!!"

Exceptional level design and idea! I finished the game, not whithout hard try. Foot sound suited the ambiance. One of my favorite LDs entry!
Wow, you made a technical prowess with this game. It works .. I mean it is rendering so well (speaking of moving inside the world and perspective)! The music and so models are very cute. We are taken in the universe from the first second that we play! Congratz on that! :bug:
Good gameplay mechanics, I liked that there were bloc to hide from the lasers. I like the shadows. You could improve the character and design graphics. I miss some music and sounds. Also I collected the 7 gems and nothing happened. I found another bug : if you try to move the world where you are, it is red, and if I move to another zone, the previous one is still red. You need to move the cursor back and forth to unlock it.

This game looks really great, awesome work for only one person. The theme choice and the gameplay are innovative. I restarted a lot because I liked the game but I was also frustrated because it was really hard! I noticed that I had to jump to kill the ennemies (otherwise my bullets were stopped by the ground). The musics and fire sounds are much enjoyable.
You came out with a original idea here ! I appreciated the way of moving that is quite new to me. The game would be better with differents design on your planete to look more like planets. The sound is a bit annoying after some time. Good job for only one person.
Very good work for your first game. I was at 825 and could not finish the last level (too much rage :japanese_goblin:). I loved the mechanics, it was quite addictive. You made me use 'I am one with the force, and the force is with me' to pass the levels :smile:. I like the destroy effect, but you should have added some music to better the experience. You should not name you game just 'Ludum dare'.
It is a very beautiful game, with many feature implemented ! Congrats! Sadly it was quite hard to target the ennemies (there is no feedback of where you are targeting until you fire). We tried to connect together with a friend on the same network but it didnt work...
I Made a challenge with a friend of who gets the highest and we had fun. He won with a score of 22:trophy:!

It is peaceful. I think it would be perfect as a sceen saver. I think you should put the default volume up a little.
Very polished game that has its own universe. I enjoyed playing this little robot on his little planet. Maybe you could develop a little scenario (we dont know why there is such battle). It is clear that you focused on the visual and mood. Maybe you could improve the gameplay a little more.
We notice many efforts on the visual of the game. The AI is working well. You could have put some efforts in the sound design, I had to turn down the volume. Amazing result for two people !

Whoa, very frightening game! The titling torch is very effective ! The ennemies as well.
The mouvement disturbed me a little : the camera is blurry and the character still walk a bit before stopping. The gun seems to dont hurt the ennemies (if it does a return would be nice).

A game hard as the old Nes game!I was never as proud as I was to finish a first level. Second level killed my soul. At the start you aren't at a fire and you have to do the perfect timing to get to the first one. There are jumps where you don't see the next platform.

Nice game, at the beginning I wandered -it seems to have no goal. But after your realize you could build an empire of civilization. Are the world procedurally generated ? Also the graphics and audio fits well the mystical mood.
Thank you everybody for testing our game or your interest :) Yeah first game (of many) that we've developed in VR. It was longer that we thought to get one up and running.

@png You are right, it is not challenging enough, originally we wanted to implement a fire next to the nest that you need to supply in wood constantly or the egg would freeze. That would force you to go grab some logs further. Hopefully we will implement this in a post-jam version!

Very fun concept, you reproduced well the old Windows OS. Maybe a meow when the attack begins and some SFX could add more immersion. I think I will send it to my family to trick them :)
Very good graphics and music. Combat are interesting, earning a new spell can keep interest through time. I experimented serious lags even with Windows version. When all cultists were dead, ennemies were running around fast and it was very long to kill them as the character stops to attack. I really wanted to see what great Cthulhu look like!

Very hard game that I managed to finish, after many retries! The mood change, with music, weather, monster was suprising and add depth and emotion to the game! Congratualtion
Nice environment in which we dive easily in! What I missed is *feedback*. Feedback when a task is done, feedback when the interaction worked or not we people/objects. I was doing the mission and suddenly I lost my jobs, I did't understand why.
Hey! Good game, appreciate the mood and graphic style (especially the flash and blur). Funny that we basically had the same game idea (but us in VR). I can notice that the highscore in your game gives it more fun and replayability.
