LD33 — You are the Monster

Lavalantula Demolisher Mech by juaxix 2015-08-25T00:02:00

Loved the art and the animation. The way the missiles behaved was a little strange in how they start inside the mech and launch backwards then forwards and it seemed like they would only fire in one direction unless locked on. Aiming where ever I wanted would have been nice. I liked the music and the sound effects were pretty good too.

The Red Planet by Zccc 2015-08-24T10:31:00

Nice! Great presentation and gameplay. Originally I didn't like the controls but once I got the hang of using X to strafe it reminded me of back when I used to play DOOM without a mouse. Some music would have been great but overall a great submission.

The Werewolf Among Others by arzi 2015-08-26T09:25:00

This is a very well-made game. All the art is great and consistent. It has a simple and fun mechanic and the sound effects and music really wrap it up into a nice complete package. I did find that villagers sprites could be completely hidden behind buildings which was annoying sometimes but overall it was a great game! Great work!

Milky Helps People by reheated 2015-08-24T02:06:00

Brilliant! I especially love the music.

Ovipositor by DMinsky 2015-08-24T23:54:00

Very impressive art assets for such a short amount of time. The game itself was pretty fun, though I think some more sound effects would have really added to the experience.

Only a Monster Would Pop Children's Balloons! by mustaine 2015-08-24T10:21:00

This game is great! Love the idea, the art was nice and consistent and the children dropping to the ground crying was hilarious.

It's a shame there was no audio and from the screenshot I was hoping you could move around and avoid parent's vision but the gameplay was still enjoyable while stationary.

4/5 :)

NotZilla: Ice Cream Vendor by RisingPixel 2015-08-24T23:40:00

Great entry! I love the idea and the controls were frustrating in a good way because that's how Notzilla must feel haha. Love the music and especially the reversing noise and look on his face when you try to go backwards!

Found Bigfootage by BluShine 2015-08-28T07:04:00

Interesting game. I really like the idea. The dynamic sountrack was great as well, I found myself using it to gauge distance from cameramen.

Moonlight by amy742 2015-08-24T00:11:00

This is awesome haha. Simple idea but well polished and I love the art!

City Steak by FunCakes 2015-08-26T09:19:00

This game didn't really work very well and I think the first person shooter graphic as the thumbnail was a very cheap way of trying to get people to click on your game.

Monstrous Spiral of Silence by V_V 2015-08-25T09:02:00

Well that was interesting. I didn't find the game that fun but the theme and the mood set by the music was well done. A nice spin on the theme so, well done.

Tentacle Smash by BoxedMeatRevolution 2015-08-25T09:12:00

Very addictive gameplay. Not the greatest visuals but they were mostly consistent which is nice. I haven't really played a game like this before and managing both tentacles on each side of the screen was actually quite hectic and fun. Well done!

Law of Nature by Louspirit 2015-08-25T09:19:00

Nice game! I really like the concept of working your way up the food chain until you're big enough to be on top. The graphics were also refreshingly different. I would have liked some more functionality like different abilities when you got bigger but overall it was pretty fun.

Sly Slime - Revenge On All Players by reckhou 2015-08-28T07:45:00

Great artwork and fantastic sound effects. The music and gameplay were really well done too. A very impressive game especially for the amount of time it was made in.

Excremonsters! by Ninja Garage 2015-08-28T08:33:00

I love the animations and the music. Quite a fun game mechanic and I love that it is local multiplayer as those sorts of games are far too few these days. That being said a highscore based single player mode would have been appreciated as well as some sound effects. Great work!

Dude, Stop by Patomkin 2015-08-26T23:05:00

This is definitely one of my favourites. Great concept. I laughed out loud when the browser icons came up. I'd love to see this expanded on.

iMonster by chkkll 2015-08-25T01:45:00

This is great! I love the art, especially how the groups of heroes have different classes as the old 4 party member dungeon crawlers had. The sound and music was pretty nice too. I would have liked to see a bit more variety in the scenery and enemies but overall it was really well presented.

bloody tentacles by zuurr 2015-08-25T00:14:00

Great game! I love the sound effects and music. The gameplay was pretty solid too. I got frustrated with the spikes but it reminded me of how unforgiving older games used to be which suits the art style. Great job!

The Stowaway by BuffaloPhil 2015-08-24T07:34:00

This game is sick! Love the style and the music really adds to the atmosphere. Well Done!

LD35 — Shapeshift

Spooky, Scary Shapes by Tater_hater 2016-04-18T03:03:00

Very simple but solid. The graphics and gameplay weren't fantastic but the sound design was great.

Subject 74 by chobrah 2016-04-18T03:47:00

A comedy masterpiece.

Pursuit of Vengeance by Markus Brand 2016-04-19T00:06:00

Wow! We almost have identical games hah. I really loved the music in this and mapping shapeshifting to just two buttons was a really good design choice. Good work.

IT Ninja by Brian Mayberry 2016-04-19T00:17:00

Good mechanics and solid gameplay. The props and environment looked so great, it's a shame the characters were simple capsules and didn't fit with the low poly flat hard surface environment. Overall a solid idea and well executed game.

LD37 — One room

Undermind by Mark Smith 2016-12-12T05:22:00

Thank you to anyone who plays my game. I hope you have as much fin playing it as I did making it. I apologize for the annoying clicking in the audio, it appears to be an issue with looped audio tracks in the WebGL build only.

Undermind by Mark Smith 2016-12-21T05:02:00

There is a bug I only just descoved, if you press any key during the quote, it freezes. Just leave the keyboard and mouse a long after the main menu and it should start. Sorry about that.

Secret of Momo by wzl 2016-12-12T04:52:00

Love the sound effects.
