One of the more innovated entries I've seen from a pure gameplay perspective. Solid puzzle solving action that I'm pretty sure will cause more than a few sibling fistfights. Well done!
Very much extremely terrifying. A perfect score for mood from me!
Really cool defense game, and quite challenging trying to keep up with your harpoon and enemy movements. I had fun!
Solid entry all around, great work in every category!
Very funny use of the theme! Reminds me of the games that shipped with early versions of windows back in the day, and of myself after eating Chipotle, lol! Great work!
Well done all around! Props!
Insanely fun!
Seriously one of the most fun and innovative boss fight mechanics I've seen in a while. The squire is pure brilliance. This needs to be a fully realized game. Like, right now. :)
Very entertaining, and what a nice interpretation of the theme!
Love the art-style! I'm currently obsessing over the same sort of thing myself, so this game goes straight to the reference folder! Fun game, and very well polished, great work!
That train! LOL! Cool graphics, and it was fun using the physics to really get some speed up. Great work!
Really dug that old-school PSX N64 style! Nothing quite like tossing a 100 knives and then dumbly walking right into them, lol!
So much feels! Simply phenomenal work here, congrats!
Solid concept and super-fun to play. I had a bit of trouble telling when the blues were on the hill or not (maybe a color change or angry face animation? I loved how the gui was part of the landscape.
Controls were tight and responsive, and what a catchy tune you selected there! I had fun playing this one!
Great use of the theme! Wish there were crosshairs, I was too scared to shoot sometime.
Oh man, my face when the cube hit the first time... I just knew I had lost instantly, and was prepared to be aggravated... instead I was blown away! Loved the music and the lighting effects.
Very smooth and nice to look at. Great gameplay, tons of replayability. The music was an odd choice for the frantic pace. I would love to see this as a full game.
One of the most pleasingly "complete" games I've played so far! I absolutely adore this game, fantastic job!
Certainly seems to payoff better if you drill with a singular focus, rather than dredging the seabed, haha! Loved the graphics! A nice concept that was well executed, just need some sound and marine life to fill out the space.
Simple, but fun! Loved the dirt particle when starting the tank.
Didn't have any issues running the game on my windows 8.1 machine. I did find that maximizing the window made pressing the buttons impossible. A bit frustrating because I kept over-shooting and hiding the window by clicking on my browser, haha. Played for around 25 rounds or so, shockingly addictive.
Extremely well drawn and animated, simply a joy to look at! Wish I could see when/where the rigs were firing back
Wow! Extremely innovative! I've never seen anything quite like it. Great work!
Love the concept, but I guess I'm not smart since I couldn't win a single time. Still, I kept trying over and over, so there's something magic going on here!
Really great idea, and the mechanic was fairly well executed. Would have liked some sound to go with it.
Really cool main play mechanic, but the overblown sound effect at the start was extremely jarring.
Beautiful art, sound, and presentation (I for one adored the CRT effect)! I had trouble seeing the dropped cookies until my third play-through, maybe some extra sparkle on those so players will know they can follow the crumb trail? The fireplace was an inspired addition, really sets the... mood! :)
What a solid tiny-little throw back to the "good ol' days" of 3d gaming! I had a really hard time believing this was Unity, the movement, graphics, and feel are so perfectly old-school. Well done!
Also, thank you so much for the comment on my game. Duke3D was the bombshell event in my life that led me to game development; so it's beyond amazing to know you played something I made. :)
So much action and drama just from a single low-fi 'console.' Really love this entry.
Best I could manage was screen 9 after two tries. Really cool procedural design; my 2nd play was radically different from the first. Felt like it missed out on the theme, even if it all really happens on one "screen" we needed to see it change I feel.
Is there a negative to hitting the walls? The sound and blinking scared me away from them.
Jumped right in without reading the how-to, so it was quite confusing when the buttons on the side didn't work. Might want to make the key-commands more easily understood in-game. Movement was confusing, but I slowly started to understand that different platforms did different things to the player. Recommend some kind of juicy feedback to let the player know something's changed. What does the slow motion gain for you? Great first effort!
Once I caught on to the flight mechanics, the game went from rage-quit hard, to really quite fun and humorous. Got pretty good and sliding those buggers off, just as they were jumping on. :D
Mesmerizing! Amazing mood, lovely graphics. Could not get 2/3 for the life of me... Must keep trying!
Took a bit of tooling around, but I figured it out and got to the end! The in-game clues were plenty for me. Wasn't sure what the angry crab awarded me, but he gave me the will to carry on, and find the exit.
Dodged 10 Oni and Destroyed 20 blocks once I got the hang of the basics. Not a bad start, needs a good helping of juice to help with the feel. (Camera shakes, more vfx). Wish I could see the score during the gameplay screen. No crashes or weirdness on my end, good work!
Really nice to look at, love the style. It's hard to tell when the train is jumping, and it just feels weird that it still follows the tracks. With all the crazy twist and turns, it might be more fun to jump the tracks, so to speak.
Really solid puzzle game you have here. That final level was a real mind job, but I finally got it after an embarrassing number of replays.
I just adore this art style! The music sets to mood perfectly. Great take on this type of game, like you said it is similar to my entry, but yours has a lot more depth with the mechanic. On Level 2 I was able to complete it by simply out running the monsters, once I knew where the exit was.
Loved the style, did not love the control layout. Dinos had a habit of walking of the ledges making for a lot of playground for the fights.
Absolutely nailed this overall; felt lacking on the shape-shifting theme, but otherwise a superbly done game.
LOL! You know you have something special when it's fun to DIE in a game, and just watch the AI push your body around. Loved it!
LOL, the ending(s), so much to love. There's a really solid foundation here, just a shame it's so short. Audio, mood, graphics, and humor are all top shelf.
I really enjoyed this concept! With a few tweaks and a bit more complexity (shadow to help open/unlock rooms, etc) this would make a fine full game.
This oozes with style and potential. Extremely well presented, progression with new doorways in a central hub was just so well done. Fantastic concept, really hope you expand on this one!
Thank you so much everyone! I've copied down all of your feedback, and will be using it to expand IT Ninja into a full project.
Bird is OP! :D As the knight, he moves a bit too awkwardly and has too little HP to be helpful. I just waited until bird mode before flying across the levels as fast as possible, pecking eyeballs as needed. Wizard fight was awesome, however.
Gorgeous, adorable, easily one of my favorites in this jam. Wonderful style and mood.
This was trippy as hell, great use of the theme! Could be used as pure nightmare fuel with VR support. :)
Really awesome throwback style game. I could really see myself having played this for hours as a kid on the old monochrome Toshiba satellite. The perfect blend of hard as hell, and forgiving.
Really clever puzzle game, wonderful art direction. One of those you can't imagine getting made in just 48hrs!
Reminds me a great deal of the endless clicker games, but with a heck of a lot less clicking! Really neat idea, well executed, and fits the theme perfectly.
Great story, awesome core mechanics!
Game looks very nice. I took personal issue with the transformation meter keeping me from transforming as much as I would like. :P
Such a wonderful game! After much experimenting with the "parts," I finally found the objective.
Great design and progression, expertly executed. Not much to add aside wanting to have offensive and defensive controls while airborne.
Just about the perfect entry. Nailed all the categories, and there's really only nit-picks to make about the details, solid entry.
This was like a crazy acid trip, I have no idea what was going on, but I kinda liked it. :D
Nailed the presentation, absolutely killed it. Unfortunately I'm joining the choir on having no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, but it sure was fun running around making a mess!
Solid graphics, sweet animation, hard as hell! :)
With some juicing, this could be a really great beat'em up! I got 57 and died on a mountain of bodies like a champion. It was awesome.
Had some slight issues with the camera, but otherwise this was really fun. ESC to quit made me really sad. With the style of the game, I didn't mind the slightly larger download size. Nailed the mood for me.
I was able to start the game and get beyond the menu. However, I was not able to collect the bones no matter how much I tried. It was very difficult to move around the world, too many invisible walls. Loved the ghosts and villagers, and the overall concept is solid.
Took me a while to learn how to aim, and it's not clear what turning into a bear does other than be completely hilarious. With some more polish, this could be a really solid hockey brawler! Good work!
Everything about this rules! Pure chaos and an awesome concept, well done!
Score: 115.
I enjoyed the graphics and animations, the music was a bit too relaxing for how intense the stealth action was, but it's a nice tune. I really enjoyed the change of pace in each level (got to the over head level, but it was too hard)
The look, sound, and feel of this game are ON POINT. Didn't feel like the theme was well represented (Werewolf is a shapeshifter, I supposed). Mad props for having such a complete project, that's also a blast to play.
Lovely concept, but it does need a bit more polish. The overhead navigation had too many areas that were blocked that just didn't look like they should be blocked. I love how you really do need to ready and study each room before moving on.
Spooky! I love games where you really need to study, sit, and wait to plot your next nefarious move. The mood in this is MAXED.
Great overall design, got stuck on the puzzle just after the maze. The lack of shading/light/gradients made navigation more difficult than necessary.
This was amazing! Solid puzzle shapeshifting, great humor, but a bit on the buggy side. Had a character pass out, and their body flew across the world on level 2.
Fantastic game overall, loved the style and gameplay. Didn't quite make the connection to the theme, but I admit that I was unable to finish the entire game.
Ok, you win, "Uncle!" This game is a certain kind of genius that makes me brain no work gud. Extremely well executed, fantastic work!
Simple in concept, difficult to master, and just enough goofy physics to keep you giggling. Amazing job on this one, I'm super impressed!
Wonderful use of theme, and I adore this concept. It was really hard to learn the controls, but I kind of dig that about this type of game. Nice graphics too; overall a fantastic job!
Spoooky game you got here! Took a while to get the controls down. It was awkward having reach so far across for my blanket and boots. Puzzles were simple, but fun. I enjoyed it!
Deep, dark, creepy, and hard as hell! Good job!
I love that we had similar ideas on settings, and made such different games! Great exploration, graphics, and audio. The 3D/2D effect is amazing. Presentation was so solid, great game!
Unfortunately I was unable to install/run on Windows 10 64bit.
Rigged controls and animations, but the characters look so amazing. I jumped in blind and missed that I could block with alt :P
Fantastic entry! Everything is really solid, from presentation down to core mechanics. Only bit I didn't enjoy was the control scheme.
Fun little maze game, the graphics were serviceable and I only found one little bug that wasn't a great big deal with placing walls too close to the characters. Kids would really get a big kick out of this game.
Absolute top marks for mood, audio, and humor, but man this game is HARD! I admit that I got completely stuck in the room with the boxes; I managed to secure the orb, but there was no way for me to proceed that I could find. Chairomancer is probably the funniest/coolest villain I've seen in a while. :)
This game is a lot harder than it looks, in a great way. Took me all of 10 seconds to wedge myself in a ditch and pop out of the world. Killed my first few passengers on accident, took a few off the edge of the map. Graphics are really nicely done. Penalty system for bad driving works well. Great work!
Man, this entry was really solid... once you figured out the mechanic! That ending... stunning!
So true, it hurts! Hard to navigate, but who cares, just make'em suffer! Loved the music.
Aw man, this game is really cool! I loved puzzling out the story, figuring out each move to make following the clues. Needs a bit more "forgiveness" with interactions in general, should be able to look at interactive items and have them highlight/be clickable from a wider range.
I think that if the controls were a bit smoother, and the locations more interesting, this could be a really great idea for a casual FPS game. My time was 1:38
Like some of the other comments mentioned, the controls handicapped an otherwise impressively complete game. Guest left too fast for me to hobble over and feed them.
I really enjoyed the emotional manipulation in this game, it sneaks up on you! Graphics in wide-screen mode can be seen in the edges, waiting in the wings as it were. Progression of difficulty was extremely well done.
Overall this is an extremely solid entry. Graphics and sound are really nice, and the gameplay is fun, if a bit hard.
Extremely well rounded production overall. The learning curve is a bit too steep, but it's not impossible. Loved the art and presentation, would translate to mobile quite well I think. Great work!
LOL what an amazing idea! Wish I could have played, but the replay video tells the story pretty well. Great work!
Top notch presentation and style. The game does suffer from a bit of lag when there's more objects on the screen, and the ending sequence stuttered so much it looked abrupt, and I'm not sure if that was by design. Overall, it's really impressive work, oozing with delicious minimalism style that I adore.
Love the humor, love the PDF manual. I would totally buy a scaled up version of this with lots of buttons to press. Great game!
Wow, that don't quit puzzle was quite good. Fantastic concept, and it was fun to play. Only problem I had was using the wads to control the text, as I was expecting mouse input.
Creepy, weird, and frankly it stumped me completely. XD One day I'll open this back up and try again. Excellent mood and audio!
This game has kept me playing longer than any other so-far. Challenging, but the mechanics are simple and familiar, and that tutorial, lol! Wonderful entry, congratulations!
