Fun to play. Surprisingly hard after a couple of levels. Maybe I have to choose easier difficulty next time...

Fun to play. Surprisingly hard after a couple of levels. Maybe I have to choose easier difficulty next time...
Awesome. Simple controls, but hard to master.
This was fun. But honestly I had no idea what to do and where to go...
Nice art style. Becomes repetitive quite fast. I'd like to see this expanded.
Fun! Definitely try again to find what lies down there.
Collision checking was too strict. Occasionally the submarine got stuck to the wall as well.
I liked the graphics and the filtered soundtrack.
I liked the graphics. Framerate dropped a lot after playing a while and game became unplayable.
Died before I got the sentry gun. :( Nice concept. The help page was confusing: small list of the used keys would have been enough.
Fun. Graphics and sound are good. I liked especially the second level. The first level was too hard, probably due the randomization of platforms. And you can kind of cheat your way through it: I ended up finishing the first level by just traveling on the most leftmost platform. Whenever another platform reached me I just simply hopped back to sewer floor to wait for the next platform.
Quite an accomplishment for a 19-hour crunch! Cool game, with a lot of surprise attacks. :)
I died too many times on my first jump -> frustration and ragequit. I liked the concept a lot, reminded me of the old classic SkyRoads.
Thanks for the feedback everybody! I had a blast doing this and I'll definitely want to explore the mechanics and gameplay further. And of course it might be a good idea to invest some time to learn drawing some nice pixels...
Funny concept.
Works well in my Firefox on Win7. Otherwise fun little game but the levels became too hard too fast. I ragequitted on 4th level when I constantly catched sharks. In that particular level there is only a small time frame to do a succesful treasure grab. I liked more of the puzzle style second level.
Fits the theme and can be played through. This game is far from the worst I've seen here. This fits the theme and the controls work well and are intuitive. Visuals are standard programmer graphics, meaning they are representative enough. :)
If you ever decide to expand this, some kind of progression could be implemented: For example the guy comes fishing another day, but the fishes move in different patterns and there are more and more sharks until it's impossible to continue without catching a shark. And when you catch a shark, the game ends but your score is what you have collected.
I found one bug: I could not replay again without closing the game and then starting (the game got stuck on a black screen saying "press space to continue").
The concept was good but the game itself turned quite fast to be nothing more than pointless clicking.
Loved the assault shotgun! Great game.
Hilariously funny. Jump could have been W instead of space, at least for people who use mouse with their left hand. :)
Not much a game here. This is more like a piece of beautiful art with some game elements. Still I liked it a lot.
Idea was nice. The game itself became quite repeating and boring after a while.
The music was indeed terrible. :) The game was quite sluggish in my computer. Otherwise this is quite nice result for 6 hour work.
I lasted 53 seconds. The could be more fun with little tweaks. Currently enemies spawn randomly to the playing area, at times they spawn directly on top of the player and take instantly one life. Adding sounds and background music would be cool also. Bullets and enemies should not go through obstacles. However, this is a good start.
I love tower defense games. First I thought this was too easy it nicely progressed more harder. I survived 7:26.
This game gave me real WTF moments. Masterpiece!
Very fun and very boring at the same time. Bravo!
I tried to press H at the title screen and nothing happened. Then I tried to play the game but I didn't understand the controls. Is there any way to go back to help screen once you are in the game?
Bit confusing at the start. After understanding the idea the game became quite dull.
Nice one screen retro platformer with difficult controls.
The game is optimized for right handed people. As a leftie this was quite a challenge.
It never ceases to amaze what kind of bizarre gems one can find when going through LD entries. This has been one of the funniest games I've played. I loved the music and the use of slow-mo. It would have been nice to have more control over the character, though.
Loved the gore. If you ever plan to do post-LD version, set the aiming to be separate action from moving. For example put the movement to WASD and aiming to mouse. I also liked the progression element - do I heal myself now or increase my attack/defense for future?
I wasn't swag enough.
I killed the snowman. :(
This was original and amusing.
I think this is my first adventure game experience in LD. Hopefully you finish this so it can be solved!
Nice little physics toy.
Grand Theft Pacman. Nice.
Well, this was original. I liked the card mechanics, but moving and shooting with the keyboard was quite cumbersome. I still have mixed feelings from this game.
Looks cute but is too damn hard. The enemies are really fast and strong. I always seem to die in round 3...
Fun, stylish and super smooth puzzle game. Looks and sounds fantastic. You know your stuff. :)
The game is quite easy because the enemies slow down when they get closer to the player. :) I played through several waves before surrendering myself to death.
Some improvement notes if you plan to develop this further: There is no option to quit the game, which is a bit annoying if you are playing in full screen. If I cleared a wave quickly I was left wandering around for a long time before next wave appeared. Some kind of cooldown period for the weapon could be nice so the player would not be able just to keep the space down.
Nice artwork and concept! The lack of sound is the most biggest issue. Enchanted version fixes that and other problems as well, but I am still rating the compo version.
Well, it's a match 3 game with organs. Probably fun to play if you are into the genre.
Technically speaking you are playing on the same screen the whole time. Only the placement of tiles change from level to level. :)
Nice one Seppel! You are now currently the best Super Flummi player in the world! :)
These are the fastest dead pixels I've ever seen! Nice concept and it fits perfectly to the theme. I would have also liked to see some feedback when you kill an enemy. The controls had a bit lag, was it intended?
I had to play this through. This was fun! Loved the audio and the humor.
Reminds a bit of my game in this LD: Avoid the red ones! For a simple game this is surprisingly hard.
The funniest interpretation of the theme so far. The game taking place in one screen as well as on the virtual cinema screen gives this extra points. I would definitely like to play an improved version with goals and progression.
Good job considering your age! I could make a goal just by moving my player towards the ball repeatedly. Programming a good AI system is hard. I hope you continue developing this and learn a lot of new things while doing it.
Simple game and too hard for me (does the opponent have a snowball machinegun? :). However, from the theme you get 5 points. AwesomeNuclearMonkey already pointed out most of the things I would've complained so I don't repeat them here.
I played the Windows version. I must admit that the music is quite frankly horrible. The player blob is cool, I cannot really comment the game because I didn't really understand what I should do...
This was nice. Simple and well enough executed. There just is no challenge. Set the the elf balls to give some damage to Santa and you have a small, decent and challenging LD game in your hands.
Not sure what this is about. Some background explanation would be nice. :) I spent some time shaking rocks on the screen, though.
Grooviest music I've encountered in this LD so far. :)
Idea and art style were top-notch. First I was a bit confused what to do and how to play, even after reading the instructions. The UI wasn't intuitive for me. The game is intense and I'd really like to see this to be expanded to a full game.
I really didn't understand this until I re-read the instructions. There is not much to play, but I get the idea.
Too damn hard for me. Music is quite disturbing.
Pong where you control the ball instead of paddles. Nicely done, but quickly starts to repeat itself.
This is awesome. The 3D "secret" after dull button pushing is mind-blowing. :) Some dialogue lines are also very funny.
This must be the most frustrating LD game I've ever played. Congratulations, if that was you purpose.
I am not against hard games which need a lot of repetition to master but come on, has someone really got that maze through?
Frustrating and too fast for me. But this game has this strange "I must try again" even if it means repeating the level over and over again.
Confusing. Some kind of tutorial instead of long list of instructions would be nice.
I did not understand the rules, but I love hexagonal board games!
I'm stuck in the "Play Tutorial?" screen.
I wanted to like this game so much. However, the slippery controls and character which bounces off the walls were annoying. If the player movement had been grid based like the rest of the game, I definitely would have played this through.
This was simple and fun, but too easy. I haven't tried the post-jam version yet.
Cute and sweet. I loved it.
Nice artwork and music. Time limit was quite unforgiving, I did ragequit in level 4. I liked the slippery ice in level 3!
The dancer/fitness instructor on channel 4 gave me a big grin. Funny take on the theme and I would have wanted to see more channels.
Fun! I liked it a lot. I'd also like to see this becoming a full game.
Nice graphics and theme. However, the small hotspots with no visual assistance are quite annoying.
I loved the art style. Dynamically changing map is a cool idea. With sounds and music it would be more captivating.
Well, it's a memory game. I have also programmed a memory game for my niece a couple of years ago. I really like encounters like this in LD. The game itself is nothing special but sometimes its nice to make games like this if you know you have an audience for it.
The audio with beating techno music and loud explosion effects were obviously missing. Of course a game like this needs a crosshair-shaped cursor. I liked the concept progression. Waiting for the next upgrade kept me playing. What I didn't like was the constant mouse clicking, especially when you needed multiple hits to down one bomb.
Simple does not always mean easy. When I read the introduction I was thinking along the lines "not again, I've seen my share of generic platformers over the years". However, this entry was pleasantly different.
It has simple gameplay mechanics but man, it is addictive, hard and frustrating (but in a positive way).
The graphics, sound, gameplay and mood combine this game more than sum of its parts. I liked it a lot.
Nice idea, took me a couple of plays to understand how to play. Some kind of feedback of your button presses would be good.
My brain hurts!
Dark twisted Christmas shooter. Nice music and artwork, but gameplay-wise this was a little dull and unpolished.
Funny theme! However, I was having control issues with the web version. At times the dog became unresponsive and continued to keep running to the edge of screen. That being said, I have never before played a peeing dog. :)
42 points at first try. Because it is an ultimate answer to life, universe and everything, I won't try to get a better score. Nice concept and cool audio!
I really liked this game. Music is awesome and fits to game nicely. This is also hard, which is a good thing.
