Fun little game! Ice sometimes hard to navigate on but really.....it's Ice.
Nice game! Really neat idea compressing the map all into one Screen. Good stuff! Lots of content for 3 days!
Nice concept. Was fun! Got tough when the help lines kept taking up line space but really nice idea.
Really neat how all the UI was destructible. Not fair that the enemy could shoot diagonal and I couldn't :P Good Job!
Hahah that was a challenge. Nice dexterity game idea for sure. The hitbox on the ball felt very unforgiving. A lot of time we want to err on the side of the player UNLESS you're really trying to create a VERY difficult game. If you err on the side of client, you could play around with making the click hitbox bigger than the ball.
Nice Job!
Great entry! As others said, very original and innovative. Well done!
Neat idea making it get sharper and sharper. Fun game. Thanks!
Nice and simple. Does lack the depth to keep playing but still good game!
Simple, fun, challenging, rage inducing, squary, great music. Well Done!
That was a lot of fun. Well done! Some awesome mid air sword swipe kills!
Great Game! Lots of fun. Animations were top notch and action was fun. Thanks!
Amazing work. That was hella fun.
That was pretty cool....although I had like 5 pirates answer my distress call in a row :) Nice game.
Loved the top down and side scrolling at the same time. I managed to pick up a few enemies at the same time that way.....and die.
Definitely one of the best games I've played! Well Done indeed!!
Definitely a good start! Great job!
Difficult is a good word :) I think there needed to be a better signal that you died. Possibly just a sound that you died. I found I was trying to jump but I had already missed the landing and actually jumped from the starting area. So really just got lost. Some collision issues but overall nice work!
Nice game! Weapon variations were fun. Blew myself up good with some fireball staff... :)
Definitely adds to the challenge not being able to strafe. Although that is a skill to shoot, turn, run, turn, shoot again. that would take some practice. Overall nice work!
Like others said, the bullets need to stand out more and possibly a health bar on the enemies to know how close they are to dying.
Fun game! Puzzles that were there had a nice difficulty curve. Animations on Kevin were great.
Definitely a good start. The physics feel good. Reminds me of the old NES Ice Hockey game.
Definitely a good start for such a small time frame. I beat it by trial and error on a few spots. Bone animations looked good. Nice Job!
Great Entry! That was a neat new idea. Well done!
Great atmosphere! Interesting survival game. Had some crates blow up as they spawned because a bomb also spawned at the same location. Had some fun with some close dodges of falling bombs. Great job!
I think moving between the different characters with different abilities is a cool mechanic. Could definitely see more happening with that.
Amazing entry! That was a lot of fun. Couldn't stop playing it :P
Thanks everyone!
@digibody For sure! Feedback will improve. Thanks for your comments!
@Caspila Unfortunately I didn't make the audio or graphics so that's why those categories were removed :(
@Muush Definitely agree! Balancing will probably go on for awhile with this one!
@cdwaddell I could definitely see this going a little further with a possible stage by stage mechanic where I could put a little story in. Thanks for the thoughts!
The balance definitely needs some tweaking. I put up a new HARD mode for anyone in the "Web (post-compo - hard mode)" link. :)
I spent soooo much time with this kind of game in Mario Paint! Nice entry. Flies got hard to predict though so the randomness kinda got me. Could be cool to make different types of bugs each with their own predictive AI that you could learn and get better at. I really liked it. Good job!
Great atmosphere. Controls were pretty tight. Graphics top notch. Good job!
The desktop theme is pretty awesome. Really challenging dexterity trying to move the mouse and type the viruses. Good game!
Interesting idea. Very Hard. Spent too much on people i think and couldn't upgrade anything.
Fun idea. Got a little repetitive and my cat seemed to pipe up to the notes a little after hearing them for 205 seconds :P Great job!
Neat idea! Jumping to platforms that were right above each other got a little hard. Nice mind bender for remembering where each screen edge goes to. :)
Great idea! Lots of fun. If I were a dog peeing everywhere, that is the type of music I would be hearing in my head. Nice work!
Visuals were great! Nice job! Excellent take on an idle clicker game!
Hahah funny idea. I liked how the different weapons were so different. BUT that leads to some balancing issues. Also being able to move in diagonals (all 8 directions in the construct behavior) would have helped the control.
Solid entry. Well done.
Great entry! Graphics are great. Gameplay is simple and awesome. The choice of songs fit it well. Great Job!
Overall a really solid entry! I had some issues with my xbox controller where I ended up playing with both the controller and my mouse. The unity launcher set all the controls to the controller but you couldn't aim with the controller.
Music and graphics were awesome. Well Done!
Great job! Lots of content there for such a short time. Fun game! Well done!
Really neat idea. Loved the sending your minions out to eat the carrots. I agree with above though that the enemy bullets were really hard to see. Great Job!
Nice entry! I had a little trouble in the web version where the words would shrink down and be very difficult to read. Nice idea though and a great start!
This is a really cool concept for multiplayer. The words on the traps got a little muddled as they overlapped.
The platforming felt really good! Good solid base here and the async idea is really good. Well Done!
The targeting system made this feel like a rail shooter in open space! That is really cool. Neat execution.
Control felt really good too. Hard to see bullets coming in from behind you but overall everything felt really tight.
Great Job!
Well Done! I really like Typing of the dead like games. Solid entry for a weekends work!
Good job!
Super neat idea here. Had big problems visually figuring out when to release the blocks but you only have little time to tighten that up.
Cool idea for a physics puzzler here. Well done!
Solid entry! Liked the concept. Was a little tough getting the aiming as it was a little off from the mouse depending on the angle you're facing.
Really well done! Good Job!
This was great! Amazing job for 48 hours! Great job! Voices were incredible! Deeper love story than Twilight.
Neat concept. Super hard to land but all around a really polished experience. Well Done!
Really great start here. Mood is fantastic. Looking good! Great job!
Really great entry. Well done. Super fun and fairly tight controls. Good job!
Super interesting concept. The bullets felt a little too random for being skill shot projectiles but super solid idea. Polish was excellent! Well done!
Given a demo on your stream! Some really cool elements and cool use of worker placement.
Well done for 48 hours!
Really cool idea! Gameplay was pretty solid. Great job!
Really nice entry! the different weapons were fun and it was great to have a unique feel for all of them.
Not being able to jump through the platforms (except in those little holes) was a little hard but for a single screen, you only have so much room. Well Done!
I had a lot of fun with the game. Cool concept. Made me want to just keep going. Controls were not too bad and I got better at them the more I played. That shows some skill gained in the controls.
Great job!
I loved this idea. well executed. One suggestion would be to have the camera zoom out based on your height from the ground so you can still keep track of a target to spear.
Well done!
Neat take on the time management genre. Since all upgrades are available to you at the start, it was a little hard to find what I should upgrade. Although that usually comes later on anyways with tutorials and such.
Nice concept and implementation. Well Done.
Interesting idea. Mood was fantastic albeit a little sad :) Great job!
Really great start here! Taking on an online MP game over a weekend is no easy chore! Even though that part wasn't complete, it's still a cool concept for a co-op game.
The assets (music and graphics were really solid. Well done!
I would recommend quite a bit more feedback like ammo pickups, stats boosts. Just make those more clear when and what was happening. Also the Ammo count needs to be more prevalent and/or have an audible *click* when you can't shoot anymore. More feedback when you take damage too.
Well Done!
I can see some good starting ideas here but they definitely need to be fleshed out a bit more. The building blocks to get places is a good start but I agree with others that switching from keyboard to mouse was a pain.
Good start but needs a bit to flesh out some of the ideas.
Neat concept. I think some cooldown indicators on the attacks would help a bit. I think there were some visual bugs with the aiming reticles.
Solid idea and decent implementation. Well done!
Not too bad of a start here for the time put in! The dynamic levels kept it fresh even though the collision had a few issues.
Also I got a good chuckle from the "Constructing" text....because this was made with Construct :) ......i think i am too tired.....
Good Job!
Graphics are super good! Neat concept. Well done!
Overall a great game. Lots of polish. Well thought out. Great entry!
Cool Idea. The lane mechanic works pretty well in real-time although it took time running across the screen when wave was complete. Solid idea. Nice execution.
That was really good! Really satisfying killing multiple enemies. Lots of level design there too. Great job!
So I really liked this concept. The execution was really well done. My only gripe with it is the randomness worked against you a lot. Sometimes I would re-roll a die and it would get the same number as the previous. This ended up just looking unresponsive as the number didn't change in the background. Accidentally rolling past the number you wanted hurt you a lot.
Also, I had it times where the number of the enemy just didn't show up so that enemy got across the screen. Nothing I could do about that.
I think this is a really cool interpretation of the theme. The presentation was 6 stars top notch.
I almost think the dice should just be used to add to an attack instead of being the whole attack with exact numbers.
But none the less great job!!
Nice entry. I liked the mix between an endless runner and attacking. Good job.
Really nice style here. Mood is fantastic too. Great start here.
@All Thanks so much for the feedback!
@guigrillo13 I am using the built in lighting features of the Construct 2 engine: https://www.scirra.com/manual/178/shadow-light
@Mathieu Muller Yeah I had to decide on a few traps that stayed around and some that didn't. So the Pits stay around and the fire goes away when you close your eyes :)
I think you have a good idea here but I believe the implementation needs a little work. The color system I think is intriguing as a design direction. Take a look at a game called Color Zen. You might be able to get some inspiration there to apply to your platformer.
Haha really satisfying herding the people into a corner and pie'ing them all. Really fun start here. Good job!
Really great start here. Controls need a little more work but overall great job! Art is sweet.
Pretty solid start here. Simple but effective especially for 3 hours of work :)
Really great start here. It was nice to see that I was getting better with the controls the more play through's I did. The catching mechanic is a neat idea although need some sort of penalty for just throwing the hammer and then dodging it on it's way back :) Great job!
I really like this premise. Kinda has a cool puzzle game feel to it. If you were to give a little more feedback to how long they are eating for, the player could then line up a few more combos. Combo's being the timing on getting food to the customers. Could even do a more open floor plan kinda like Diner Dash and make a neat puzzler out of it.
Great start!
Hahah yeah great twist on the crossy road take. Good job on mimicking the art style! Great job!
Haha I really liked this. Funny. Neat little strategy game. Well done!
Really unique idea. Just like others, I had a little issue jumping in on the camera but I see what you were going for. I managed to spam click the next red circle to jump around instead of learning the sequence but that is a good skill to learn :)
Solid particles and feedback. Good job!
Amazingly solid entry. Some tiny aiming angle might help a little to see the general starting direction of the grenade. And then some feedback if the grenade is being blocked by the radar things.
Overall amazing job! Great work!
Pretty good start here! I think the controls need to be tightened up a little bit. Maybe allow you to move with the arrows might speed up the experience. Neat concept on the area control for your damage.
Good start! Keep at it!
Incredibly polished and tight control. Very fun game. Cool mechanic using the guns to actually help you dodge around. Well Done!
That was a lot of fun. Ran into an issue where I threw one of the small guys into the bigger pill guy and the bigger guy then became un-hitable. Overall great job though. Fun gameplay!
Really neat start here. Given that it's a sort of trial an error, I think it's a cool concept. Trial and error can be frustrating but because death has no consequence, that works in it's favor.
Nice entry! Well done!
Really cool idea and use of the theme. Super hard game. Not being able to reuse the words is insanely difficult but cool idea. Well Done!
Really neat concept. Got pretty hectic later on. Great Job!
Excellent entry! Was fun and rewarding to get the timing down. Was hard at the beginning as the key up timing felt delayed but you learned to compensate for that.
Would probably need a few more timing mechanics to stop the line one from getting repetitive but wicked for the weekend of work.
Great job!
Great mood! Neat concept. Monster moved a little slow and I got caught by a camper when he was barely visible on the screen so that detection zone might need some tweaking. Great entry! Nice job!
Art and sound create a really unique experience. Neat concept. Executed well!
Cute idea. Fun use of the theme :)
Very awesome mood with the tv camera effect and audio. Nice mechanic switching back and fourth between the two distinct modes.
Great entry!
Really neat concept. As others said, it's a little confusing sometimes when you have multiple passengers why certain floors could not be reached.
Great art and sound. Well done!
208! That was fun! Nice job. Simple concept but effective.
Good job!
Nice upgrade progression! Gameplay was fun! Might want to add an aiming reticle when the guns come out as I kept losing my mouse.
Great job!
Really nice entry! That was a lot of fun. Only criticism would be that progression was pretty slow but that can always be tweaked!
Great job!
Really nice game! Well done. Great, mood look and feel. Neat use of the replay concept.
Tons of work in there for the Compo time frame! Pretty solid start. Well Done!
Pretty stellar Art as usually! Mood and atmosphere is pretty awesome. I don't think the two button controls really do this justice.
Nice job overall!
Amazing job! Really loved this entry. I think making the player go up and down was a neat progression on the level that could be exploited more for mazes. Great idea. Graphics were awesome. Pretty tight control.
Loved it.
Wowzer. Amazing job! Definitely one of the top games I've played. Super great job!
All Star entry. Well done! The mood, controls, theme. Super awesome.
I'm at a loss though on where to take this game but what you have here now is pretty great.
Nicely done.
Nice mechanics to keep pinball fresh. The ball sometimes went above the screen with the camera catching up and it was at times hard to tell where a teleporter was in order to activate the right color in time.
All in all this is a great entry! Lots of polish!
Definitely a really neat technical demo of something I have not thought of trying with Construct 2. Overall there is definitely a good start here.
Great job for a weekend of work!!
Haha music got so loud near the radios. Control are tight when using the right mouse button. Island shapes were really interesting.
Great entry!
Nice art style. It's a good start but the camera and sliding of the character definitely needs a little tweaking. The camera was sometimes not following me anymore. Keep working at it! It's coming along!
Haha very moody and character development is pretty amazing. Animation was great. Gameplay is a little lacking but still a funny entry!
Nice work!
As always, Brilliant art. The beard growing is a neat mechanic if not a little frustrating like some physics is :P Great job!
Definitely nice overall entry here! I think the two button controls hold this idea back though. Was hard to deal with the worms when they were moving in between the tesla coils and there was nothing I could do about it.
Definitely neat idea and presentation was really good.
The zoom feature was really neat. Made it quite a bit harder. Failure just kept making the game harder! Neat idea. Well done!
Neat idea! Almost started turning into a music rhythm game with the combinations of buttons being pressed.
Nice job!
Pretty great entry! Art was sweet. Control was really good except it was very unforgiving when you missed. Like getting hit caused you to lose your timing in the hit animation and didn't know when it was complete. Mis-clicking sorta did the same thing where you wouldn't know when the click was ready again.
Overall though super great job. Really liked it.
Haha neat idea for the 2 button theme. Lob-sided balancing act with the ship. Nicely done!
Definitely a good start here! I agree with others where seeing a level indicator on your units would be good. Could maybe do some powerups with an ability cooldown and definitely limit the spamming unit building. I managed to finish it by just going 1-2 and forget the third lane entirely.
Overall pretty nice Job!!
That was really fun. Pretty tight control and was easy to feel if you made a mistake.
Well done!!
That was really neat! There were times when the numbers just wouldn't come close to matching so I would definitely have to take damage but overall a really neat mechanic for combat.
I liked how it was a sort of puzzle game mixed in with the combat. More thinky than the bejeweled like combat systems. Nicely done.
Absolutely love these style of games. Really well done! Was really neat seeing the paper rock scissor fighting mechanic mixed in there. Nice sounds and end song!
Great job!
Super fun idea! There is definitely tons you can do with this idea! Great Job!
Pretty nice start here! Cool infection spreading like concept for growing your Slimedom (tm) :)
I really liked this idea. The time management aspect was a little tough at times with the bottom abilities being so far away from the shields.
Neat idea! well done!
Chat room chatter is so good. Really neat way to convey a story. I liked the world that was created here.
Awesome Job!
Really great atmosphere. Control was pretty tight. Upgrade system added a lot. Great entry. Lots of fun!
Fun watching the inhabitants wander around. Neat use of a tetris like placement problem. Nice work for a weekend!!
haha that explosion sound scared me. Also, I kept shooting the bombs before I realized I could collect them.
Great start here! Lots of fun.
Definitely a really cool implementation. Works really well as a sort of puzzle metroidvania.
Well done.
I'm not fired. I quit.
Great job! Fantastic entry!
Really neat sort of tug of war tower defense like mechanics. Art style was great. set a neat mood.
Overall pretty good job!!
Really great entry for 2 days! That's a pretty big task for that short of time. Was some performance issues around 30 villagers at faster speeds but still great job!
Really neat timing concept. The idea of fake sounds is really cool too. Syncing the music notes with the visual cues is tough. Not sure if there needs to be an audio sync like in guitar hero but I found the notes to be pretty close to what I saw.
Good job!
That was really fun! Like really like these side scrolling strategy games. The placement of the soldier was pretty key and was i felt I really needed to micro manage each soldier. That made it quite difficult to be all over the map.
Great entry overall!
Really challenging. I think the two button control does actually hurt the game as it can still be super fun being a puzzle adventure game. The delay when you hit a switch really throws your mojo off of knowing where your timing it on turning.
Overall great entry. Play with the controls and that timer to make a pretty sweet game!
Gameplay was great. Audio was awesome. Art was pixely wicked. Nice entry! Great job!
Really nice Atmosphere. Concept was solid. I think it could be a lot more with more than 2 buttons.
Great entry!
Nice start here. The bullets were near impossible to dodge though as the movement was a little slidy.
The upgrades were nice and overall a pretty sweet entry.
Good job!
Super neat puzzle game. I Cool concept and executed well.
Really cool concept here! Most of the time I did just try to find where the shape merged back into a square and then wiggled my mouse around there to find the right spot. The instructions to memorize the shape covered the shape as well which is probably not what you want.
Nice tech demo and looks great for 48 hours! Good job!
Really nice start here. I do agree that the controls kinda work against you but the whole physics behavior difference for each shape was really neat. Could definitely see more shapes with different properties being fun as long as the controls could be nailed down.
Nice work overall!
Really liked this game! The shapeshifting was done really well and was a blast to play!
Great job!!
Definitely really cool making an infinite runner metroidvania mash up. The controls were a little difficult as the second movement animation almost kept you moving when you let go of the controls. That threw me off a little. An indicator on the screen of the state of your weapon upgrades would be nice. I arg'ed when I replaced my triple shot with the rapid fire! How come you didn't put gamepad support in? I gasped at that.
Super great start here though. Really liked it!
Neat concept here! It looked like the blocks were fairly randomly generated including the spiders that sorta hurt the gameplay. Some spiders were fully block a square i needed.
I think you have a good start here for a fun action puzzle game. Great job!
Cute graphics. Collision boxes on the static objects were a little sticky and could be a little smaller.
Cute game and nice start here for 48 hours! Nice job!
The ability upgrades were really fun! It was neat that you lost an ability when hit but after getting to the last level, that just made some parts un-beatable. I did get one spot where I lost an upgrade and the DNA's that showed up were out of my reach. So I had to reset.
Really great idea! The character changing art was great! Good job!
389400 and I'm now a Lindworm! That was great! Art style and shape shifting was done awesomely! Great Job!
Wow the difficulty stars at 11 :P. Cool concept. Those collision bounds were really tight! Challenging game. Nice entry!
2:12 seconds for me! You have a really nice start here! Lots of cool possibilities with different states! Some of the collision boxes were a little tight. Also not being able to end the current state earlier than it's timer just made the player wait for no reason.
Overall you have a really good entry here for 48 hours! Great job!
The vision limitation and revealing adds a pretty neat mechanic. Especially since you can fall off the roads :)
I found that the dash movement was pretty disorienting though. It almost seemed like it was warping instead of dashing. Either animating the movement and/or a warping visual cue could help with that.
Nice idea and good start for 14 hours of work!
Super neat Idea! Definitely innovative. I liked how it was a co-op puzzle game. Pretty difficult tackling something like this on a weekend project. Kudos for getting some going!
Keep it up!
Nice entry overall! The physics with the car being rear wheel drive was a little hard sometimes but was fun none the less.
Great job!
Nice! Really good start here! I can see quite a few possibilities with the gameplay in the Tower Defence genre. Was cool how you could turn the ship wreckage into some mines as well!
Fun game.
Laser puzzles are awesome! Lots of good polish. My only grip is that the vertical snapping of the "towers" was sometimes a little finicky depending on the camera angle.
Really great entry! nice work!
Innovative toy! Was fun to mess around on. Great job!
Pretty neat concept here. I think the gaps between the sections were really small and the strong gravity made this very difficult.
Nice start here though! Good Job!
Super great job! The movement bouncing sometimes was hard to deal with as it would not let you job if you were in the mid air part of the animation. I fell off a lot of edges that way.
Even with that one gripe, this is a great accomplishment! Great Job!
Lots of LOL moments when the physics would shoot you somewhere you didn't quite expect. Really neat idea.
I found the jumping a little floaty and the collision sometimes seemed a little off from what I expected but overall i really liked this.
Great job!
Sound effects were awesome. Neat survival game. The shapeshifting was a nice function and could totally be added to.
Great job.
The shape fitting games are super neat! I like how you made each piece be able to change shape which allowed for more combinations. Overall an awesome entry!
The proximity killing was really cool! The screenshake and sound effects really added to the experience and make it feel good.
Great job!
You have a nice start here! Could definitely expand the idea to having pellets doing a bunch of different effects. Cool to see the mashup of an old game :)
Nicely done in 48 hours!
Nice start of a matching game. Never seen one with such long line requirements before!
Great job! Was fun.
Pretty neat how you could actually fight the boss right away even if you weren't strong enough. Although super hard :)
I agree that it wasn't super clear that you should go find all your items in the random levels first but that can just be some UI stuff.
Good Job! Was fun!
Sweet entry! Lots of things you could do with this idea and building puzzles around tons of different shapes. Some collision boxes were a little unforgiving but great job none the less!
Insanely rewarding mechanic. Was really cool being able to pounce, warp to dodge bullets, pounce over a wall, pounce two more times then finish the level. So fun.
Great job!
Pretty good start here! Lots of different platforming possibilities when you combine the shapeshifting with the characters immunities. I did run into a few collision issues and oddly I sometimes couldn't jump. I believe it got in a state where it thought I was still falling.
Keep working at it! Good Job!
What an awesome entry! The mood really sold it. Pretty tight controls overall. Everything felt pretty tight. Very impressive for a COMPO entry!
Great job!
Tough little game here. Graphics are really nice! Great job!
Ran super super fast for me! Nice start here. Keep it up.
Was neat to be able to get some of the more weird and split shapes to fit in some seemingly impossible spots! Definitely a familiar feel compared to tetris which is a good thing! Rotating blocks would be neat but also would add even more crazyness to the placement puzzles.
Good start here!
Pretty nice concept here. Art style is nice. I was a little lost on how the controls worked but definitely a nice start.
