kinda reminded me of osmos. controls are a little hard to use, perhaps keeping the window more central might make aim eaiser. not sure how it fits the theme.

Weblink is broken :(
Oh I loved this. Most fun killing scientists yet. Tons of fun. Great job.
weblink is broken, goes to twitter account.
I ran into some kind of bug early on where it didn't matter what I did I couldn't destroy the buildings or do anything ... just kept on gathering up points. As for when it was working, I found that once you saw the pikes and moving too fast you couldn't slow down in time.
Weblink didn't work :(
Great game.
Nice idea. Kids got in too early before for I was was able to shake him down for all his money.
I didn't rate this, and only wanted to mention you might have difficulty finding 4 players at a time to try it out.
I had fun with this, but it was hard to keep your head above water early on, perhaps a few enemies at time that are generally increasing in frequency later might have been better, but that's a minor point.
Neat idea, there could be a speed up button to make it run a bit faster.
Overall a good game. Interesting concept, perhaps there is a larger game with multiple elevator banks, and trying to be a huge pain when you know one of the passengers is late for a meeting. Few odd bugs here and there; mostly where floors that should have been activated for me to go to were not available. Had fun. Loved the music, was very creepy.
Loved it. Hated it. Well, I hated when it said Game Over; scary sound effects.
I couldn't get it to work. To me it was just random food flying into monsters ... is there a way to move the monsters around?
fun idea, had difficulty related my location to the mini map.
Nice job. As others have said, a faster respawn rate would be an improvement. Loved the audio. Creepy. Good job for the theme.
Couldn't get it to work, the web link points to twitter, not to the game.
It's a good idea, but I couldn't get it to work past the first level. was there more?
Loved the concept. Made me hungry ... had difficulty getting over the gaps. Had a bug were the high score wasn't reset. Mmmmm ice cream. Sugar rush. okay ... good idea. Had fun with it. Made me laugh.
Fun time. Love the mood created by the music. Cool concept. The only issue I had was that sometimes I could get behind a building and couldn't see what was going on.
For those trying to get it to work, try refreshing the page a few times. Perhaps a browser cashing issue?
Anyway, good idea ... I found it too easy to KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! ... err wait, feed ... feed ... :)
I couldn't figure out how to kill humans. I killed the airplanes, which I assume had humans in them.
Good idea, just needs some bug fixes. I liked the 3D effect.
(spoiler alert!) 57 million points and lasted almost 6 minutes. Could have gone on for hours. How'd I do it. I hung out in the corner ... almost the perfect defensible location. Could fix it by making it wrap around. Fit the theme really well. Good job.
It was good, my only issue was that the space bar was used to advance the screen and scare, so at games end you moved through so much if you were mashing the space bar. Maybe ENTER instead?
good idea. making the start game and fire the same button made it hard to see the score when I finally got smucked.
It has a bug in it where there is no way to know how long you last after the first round. The second round I lasted 3-4 minutes for sure but then it said, it was 62 seconds. :( Thought it fit the theme well, but the bugs made it hard to give a better score.
Surprisingly addictive. Great concept. Awesome job.
I wasn't able to start the EXE on windows 8.1 pro. Could have been security related; not sure. Ran the installer, that worked fine.
Wasn't sure how well it fit the theme.
not sure how it fit the theme. Liked how the graphics worked, but had difficulty with the controls.
it was fun, big download. Not sure how well it fit the theme. liked the humor in the opening part.
Nice. Strange way to attack ... you must have have laughed throughout the development. It would have nice to have be able to sneeze more.
Great job. it's only fault was it took too long to recharge, but other than that. Was fun. Good theme entry.
@bigbuggames ... I thought about changing the entire points mechanism to be more about how many levels you can get the cat through ... a special power would have a cool down, rather than points. But I hear what you are saying; I noticed that around level 12-14 it was almost impossible to keep a positive score.
Fun game. Reminded me of younger days.
wow, that was fun :) loved it
Bit hard to get started, but it was fun once you go into it.
Wasn't sure what was going on.
Reminded me of Osmos, but still loved it.
I laughed at that ... could have worked for LD33 too Be the monster. Great job. Good fun. Great audio. Great intro too.
Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at dev1.sdngames.com.
FRED kicks ass ... damn you ENTER TEXT. I had fun. I might have helped to know the stats of the other players I was battling rather than my own. Wasn't sure how it met the theme ... loosely I suppose with the grown in points.
Good game. Reminded me of my Tigiy game from LD33. Nice concept. Found the controls a little hard. It would have been cool to blow up the enemies.
Loved the deep moody music and the mood it created for the game ... would have loved a score. Great job.
Had difficulty deciding what to do was more a demo than game.
Neat idea. I found it difficult to control the veins.
That was cool. Nice idea. Fun to play.
Worked for me. Great concept. Really different game idea in comparison to the 100+ I evaluated. Liked it. I also liked the little touches, like being able to not shoot, etc.
Managed to play golf just like the real world, where I'd put the ball into the trees or the water ... or in your case, over a cliff ... never to be found again. HAHAHA.
Sighs, I couldn't get it to start.
I really liked the 2D graphic in a 3D environment; thought it was great. But two controls really made it hard to control the animal at a signpost. Perhaps they could stop at a signpost, pick a direction with the two keys, then both buttons to continue in that direction.
Game has potential. I'd keep trying to develop the concept.
Nice idea. Like the jumping ability. Had good fun. Simple idea, but well executed.
Could have been the story of my life; but the greatest thing you ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
Wasn't sure what to do. There was no score or a way to lose. Got lots of green things. Good sound.
I had trouble with the game too. Had weird graphics issues ... I think the souls where JPG instead of PNG that supports transparency. that's why they appeared as blocks.
Web version wouldn't start.
That was great fun!
Very Osmos like. Web version was very laggy on my machine. Good idea though it's been done before. Good use of both themes.
Nice idea. I found that I wasn't sure what the right mix of heat and ice with rain was to kick start the forest growth. I had hoped to get pulled into the concept more.
I didn't know what I was doing. Too much was happening to quickly understand.
That was fun ... 3D even.
Liked how the game works and when the souls left the vases and entered the lamps. Good Pixel graphics. I had fun with this. Good Job.
Interesting idea, wasn't sure of the challenge. Has potential.
Wow loved it. A game within a game. 3D too. Great job. Loved the audio. Awesome idea. A timer would have good too, but I was happy to get to the end.
Really liked the mood this created and the horde. Perhaps some numbers might have helped with the sizes of each group. That way you know how big to grow your side before engaging the enemy. Fun to play. Liked the graphics. Worked well for me on the web; no lag that I could sense.
Liked the game, but it got too hard too quickly at level 3, good idea though.
Interesting idea. Played both endings. I liked the happier ending.
On the WebGL one I get unknown compress method as an error... but the WEB version seemed to work fine.
Wasn't sure where the game was, I could drag the mouse over the scene, but couldn't interact with it.
It's so hard to hit the right keys when you are laughing so hard; and like there is two and their right next to each other, and I still couldn't hit them. Loved the game. Good use of both themes. Well done. Calgary Game Developers ROCK!
I'm with veverichka, I couldn't figure out how to not die. Made it frustrating.
Fun game, really a challenge. Worked fine for me.
Hey, loved it. Fun to play. Would have called it shoot the stars. wasn't sure where the moon was ... I know it's not there. Neat idea.
overall fun idea.
I don't why, but as soon as I invested in Google my net worth plummeted and when I got out, it went back up again. I cry foul. Fun though, using somebody elses money.
Neat idea. Took a few tries to get used to the idea ... was fun to play.
couldn't get past the first level. I must be lame. good idea. Needed to start easier and draw you into the game.
Great game. I really like the way the mouse used to jump. Great audio. Fun times. Thanks.
Good game. Would have liked more play area to plan my moves better. Minor point.
Good music and idea. I agree with dinomode that it is a little hard to control with little friction.
OH MY GOD SANTA ... we must save Christmas.
HAHAHA ... how can you make fun of beer like that ... *frowns*
Wasn't sure where the game was. How do I win? How do I lose?
@vicious_br, tried your game again upon your request and still don't know how to win or lose. For example I was able to blast through the defenses and hit the black player, I thought and couldn't win, and then let myself lose to their onslaught and couldn't die ... so I don't know the conditions for a win or lose and as such, don't know the strategy I should employ to guarantee a win. El
That was really fun to play. Nice animations and there is depth to this. I'd keep developing the idea, add new keys for new moves.
Little hard to get going, but did get it to go. Fun to play. Suggestion might be to use A and D work independently, where A tilts the left panel, D the right ... that way you can better control the direction of the balls.
Neat idea. However, the tutorial didn't cover all the cards so it was kinda sad that I didn't know what I was doing after the tutorial.
Good concept though. Wasn't sure how it fit the theme.
fun times.
Good job on the game. Felt like Osmos at times. Game had minor issues with screen edges. But still fun.
Good idea. I was initially not sure what to do but, eventually got it. I think 2-3 more players are needed save the house. Maybe a timer for how long I kept the house healthy could have helped.
Neat idea. A different take. Wasn't sure how to manipulate the game other through drag and drop. Perhaps the goal could be 2/3 red 1/3 blue, or something like that.
I think the idea has potential.
Interesting idea. But it didn't work for me, clicking the colored words didn't add to my score. Neat idea with the text.
Simple fun game. Controls are easy. I couldn't think of what could have inspired you ... lol ... just kidding. Great job overall.
Simple game. Hard to master. I found it hard when the balls started to move. Perhaps they could move but start out slower then speed up.
Great idea. Grow slow :) Minimalistic graphics, but still looks good.
What a cool/great idea. Loved how the intro pulled me into the game. Loved the feel. Great monochromatic art style. Good music too.
Interesting idea, had difficulty making the jump work well. Good audio.
Good Game. Found it was hard to keep up once all my bees figured out they had better things to do. Good use of theme, good graphics. Fun to play.
it is really hard to play, really hard to not hit the top or bottom of the tank. Good theme though and the graphics are good.
It's a great idea, but I found jumping for the food a bit more random than skillful.
Fun game. At first it looked like just two button controls but then there was growing too. well done.
What can I say, this game was really slimy. Wasn't sure what caused growth or being absorbed. Good graphics, interesting growth mechanics. I had initial problems getting the game to start in Windows 8.1 .. "More Info" revealed the run anyway button (thanks BN).
Loved the audio ... good idea. Had fun. and a great laugh too.
Neat idea. Hard to get going at first. Wasn't sure how protect my source. Liked the game. Fun to play.
hahha ... that was funny ...
The graphics were a little small for me. Maybe allow me to make whatever and give me an innovative name
that was fun. was good graphics and theme. felt polished.
Weird, I couldn't get it to load. :(
Radzilla is RAD. Loved it. Great game. Reminded me of LD33.
Good game. Was fun with just one player. Maybe in a revised version you might try that?
Love the mood and the cats. Purrs. Simple art. Good Game.
Good idea.
FIRED? Me. But but ... there were too many of them. Great game ... surprisingly hard to do. Throwing stars, grenades, omg, is it really like that. Good sound. I can imagine going postal if this was real life.
This game has such potential, but I had difficulty controlling it in a browser. really great idea. loved the graphics. I had difficulty with depth perception, wasn't sure how close the coins were to me. Minor issue with graphics. Still rated it highly.
nice idea, but I think it gets too hard too quickly.
I couldn't get the web version to start.
Good looking game. Wished there was a score.
Works fine for me in Firefox, not sure why it doesn't work for you. If it's windows, sometimes I find that the audio gets messed up.
Space bar is useful level 6 and above, otherwise, you're right, not much good before hand.
@ambi, that's why I added the ability to just jump to the start. Thanks.
@numesbarbosa, get to level 8 and you'll know what the space bar does
Good idea. Had fun.
graphics and gameplay are good. Wasn't sure how the gameplay met the overview of the game.
Great job, you could have submitted this for LD33 (be the monster). would have liked different music each level, but ok.
Good Job. I gave it 5 stars for humor, mostly because this is is exactly the game I need in real life for my room.
Good graphics. Really fun game. Liked how the audio evolved as the game progressed. I also liked that the player didn't just stop when I released the key, that made it a bit harder too. Great game.
I found the thing to be rather sad. People are far more resilient than a Yes/No question system.
Good game. Fun to play. I found it hard to line up and take a shot. Perhaps we could turn faster? minor point. Good Audio too.
Wasn't sure what was going on.
Great idea. Simple. Good audio. I found random easier than classic. Easy to mess up, but easy to try again.
Wow, what a great concept. Suggestions: a way of restarting the level rather than starting from the beginning again.
WOOT! Made it to 8. Great idea. Loved it. Good Sound. Made me laugh.
Loved the feel of this game. Simple idea. Great use of both themes. Loved the music ... seemed very suited. Kind of reminded me of my lawn this year. laughs. At level 5 it was impossible keep all the buildings from not being engulfed by the encroaching weeds.
good idea. Found it hard to control. Perhaps the position of the mouse could help guide it's direction rather than the movement of the mouse. Overall I found it moved too quickly. Try it at 1/2 the speed then speed it up?
It was more a story in a tree with choices than a game.
Neat idea. Never seen the idea of tetris used this way. I found the randomness of the blocks hard to overcome, especially if you get trapped and cannot jump out. Good overall though. Fun to play when not trapped.
Good idea. Needed better graphics to let me know how many dudes I could create. Needed a score. Needs more work, but I liked the concept.
Nice idea. Good graphics and audio. That was fun to play. Simple.
I might suggest that when firing that you take a little bit away from the cube. That forces the player to absorb as many of the colors as possible rather than just blasting at anything that doesn't match the colors.
Nice Game.
Wasn't sure how to play.
Good idea. Wasn't sure how it met either theme. Took too long to get to the bad guys.
It's a good idea, but I wasn't exactly sure how it fit the theme. If you decide to carry on with the idea, then I would make the cost of death less intimidating.
Overall the concept is good, but I think there were bugs that prevented me from building houses to continue to build factories and science places. I think it is probably a little hard to get started.
I knew about the holding the mouse bit, and decided that that it was not a bug, but rather an undocumented game feature ... it is part of the game process, but it is not full-proof :)
@remco, you're right, I did make a mistake for compo, and for some reason read that if the sounds were public domain that was ok. My mistake, I'll record the sounds locally next time. I have the equipment to do that.
As for the game itself, I had a self-imposed 24 hour limit ... what could I make in a day. Just limitations on how much time I really had. A lot of things were a single pass, such as the ship, although for the ship. I could have done a much better job with the entire game. Honestly, I was surprised I got it working in about 8 hours, the rest of my time were bug fixes, music, audio and
The music I did in a few hours with just some midi loops and Omnisphere ... the repetitive nature is it is really 2 4-bar loops of drums, bass, chords and melody. Super simple, I spend 2-3 weeks on my regular tracks, but what could I do in 2 hours.
Great job :) at first wasn't sure what it was doing. Simple game, but fits the theme nicely. Please review my game. thanks.
Wasn't sure how it met the theme. I think maybe there weren't enough others to pull down your energy level.
I tend to agree with @mccarlp ... the intro levels gave a good intro, but the very next level, it was nearly impossible to do ... and not at all obvious. The average player will probably give up too quickly. Has potential though ... I'd explore a few iteration with friends.
first it was really great little game and neat spin on the theme ... i found it hard too hard to place the next level of city streets ... where I thought I was placing them was not where it ended up, and I found that to be kind of frustrating.
It's a cool game, but there are too many enemies at the start to really give you much of a chance to survive more than a few seconds. That resulted in experience that wasn't much fun.
for such a silly concept, it was actually pretty funny ... cannot believe how long I spent playing it.
I was able to run the game. It is a good attempt, but what would have made it more on theme is if there were more guys showing up over time ... truly running out of space and some kind of score, something as simple as number of seconds to survive. Good attempt. Good music too.
This was a great game ... love the music, mood and humor ... and great idea for a game. great job.
nice idea, but i didn't see how it met the theme ... it felt more like running out of time.
I'm really bad at the game ... I found the first level was a bit unforgiving for a new player. Maybe other players can tap the keys faster, but I found I just got whipped out really quickly. Keep going with this game or others ... it was really well done.
This is not a game ... do not use, it will crap out your computer causing it to run out of space.
Good job L. My only complaint is the popup boxes tended to result in me dropping the boxes into the sun. If they were replaced by a non-intrustive notification, that would have been better.
