This game is fun as but I kinda don't get it because it says congratulations when you die
I hope your game will be as good as youre desccription!
Thanks Bungalow! It was meant to be an joke and a reference to GladOS.
The helpful AI is congratulating you because by being vaporized you met your weightloss goals, by being vaporized. Glad you enjoyed the gameplay though! Sorry if the reference was vague.
It is a good idea, but I was disappointed I couldn't win some rounds because the game generated a non-win scenario. Could call it the "kobayashi maru" lab ... laughs. Please review my game too :)
Hah yeah, the original version started with a safe path but the maze was so slow to generate I had to scrap it. I should fix that though because it's annoying. Thanks for the Suggestion Elenesski!
Sounds like a ton of fun! Can't wait to play!!!
Added difficulty modes and a safe route variable based on feedback from @Bungalow. Thanks for the great feedback! It should be very rare to be trapped in initially now.

Thanks!
Added scaling to the canvas on the title screen to prevent the buttons from being scattered all over the place. Oops!
Fun little game, managed to escape when I have slowed down little bit. Good obstacle generation, at least on the easier difficulties, makes it engaging.
I like it! Remembered my childhood days where I used to draw countless maps like that on pad papers.
Ok, so... The idea is good but the execution is not so great. I'm sorry to say that. There are some things you weren't paying attention to. For example, in the main menu, if you hover over the buttons the hover sound starts to loop. Another problem is that the game is not challenging enough. The pieces that "collapse" can be basically ignored because they don't bring any challenge. Having to smash the keys to move is not making the game "turn-based" and... a "Congratulations" message when you die is kinda weird. Better luck next time and keep working to get good results!
fun game!
Very Nice! Beat it in 228 moves.
nice
Very cool and so much fun to play! Nice styling and concept
I didn't know what to do for a bit but it very polished and is a fun game.
fun game and a good aesthetic
Loved the game! its very intuitive!
Nice! Beat the game in 73 moves. Having to mash the movement keys seem kinda weird at first, but then it makes sense when you see it counts your moves. Other than that, great job!
I love the game! For some reason I cant rate it though
My fingers are now the strongest part of my body. Thank you for this. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. NICE AND ALSO GOOD!
It's pretty good but I got lucky and beat the improbable mode 1st try right after the beginner
Visually this game looks good. On harder difficulties this game is a labyrinth crawler. There is not much variety to the gameplay. Dying in one turn and flying out of the lab as a bunch of particles seems like the only true ending!)
Interesting idea, and I like the visuals. I wish I could hold the arrow keys to move, as I'm very impatient and will destroy my wrists playing this. :-P
The atmosphere is pretty good, presentation decent for a bunch of text, but the game itself is lacking in several respects:
1. The maze is actually completely random - at easier levels it's all just a matter of time, while at harder levels knowing that you couldn't win due to no mistake of your own is not very satisfying. 2. Without a repeating function on movement, tapping the direction endlessly is just not very pleasant. 3. Not sure what anything does - spinning block? I wouldn't dare testing it out by walking near it so... There are variations which doesn't mean very much. 4. Without any signs towards the exit (doesn't even have to super obvious, just have to be able to be worked out), how many moves you make to get to the end is completely arbitrary luck.
Despite the limited scope of the game, it's really quite well polished in terms of visual effects.
Sorry to be harsh but I hope that it helps you with future game designs!
Cool game, really nice graphics, a little hard to see in the small screen but not really an issue..
Cool idea with the labyrint. Difficult. Different modes make it hard:)Worth playing. Good job
Cool little game, visuals are nice, my main complaint is that I can't hold the movement buttons to keep going, it got pretty unpleasant after a while. It also could have done with a bit more explanation to what each block does.
Nice game! Great presentation and feeling. I would have liked to have an alternate goal other than just walking for as long as possible, though.
Concept and gameplay is fun, but there are some improvements to be made:
- The way the red blocks spawn is too predictable, they never spawn right above/below/beside you, they always have an offset on both axis. 050cc8ce274d2a2369e7fef85b13676e.png This was done by walking up and down over and over again as an example.
- The looks of the game are cool and have a nice vibe, I just wish the text was more readable.
Overall nice game :D
Once dead, if you hit "Play Again", footstep audio can no longer be heard, you can also move after dying.
Other than that, the game is challenging, at the start I was confused but got the hang of it quickly.
Nice! I think you did a great job. I love the funny comment when you die! I am able to keep playing once i have bee vaporised (not sure if it is a bug)
Thanks to everyone who tried my first LD entry! I appreciate all the great feedback. Thank you for all the great suggestions and observations!
Interesting concept, and the atmosphere of the game is awesome. I did have a couple of problems with it: There is no way to tell where the exit may be, so most games start out going the wrong direction then loosing because of it; moving in a straight line is kind of annoying because you have to tab the key over and over, although I do understand that this is so that a wall doesn’t pop up in the player’s way; finally it is completely random if you win or not, whether or not you do go the right direction right off the bat. It could also benefit from sound during the game, the silent lab is kind of boring to move around in. I do like your sounds in the menu, even just including something like that each time the player moved would have been good. Great submission!
I like the claustrophobic atmosphere. I won a few times on different difficulty levels, and it's not an unfair game, but for me it's mostly about whether I guessed the right direction to start.
why is this rated so wel, dont see anything thats too good??????
No even kidding, I really enjoyed this game. Simple, straightforward, and hard. All the best qualities of all the best games. I did probably die! lol
The coolest is to play in super hard mode
I really enjoyed your entry!
Super hard mode is all matter of luck, it should be super hard but winnable.
It's a pretty solid entry, polished and funny.
Thanks for your work!
Great fun. Like the minimalist style.
I loved the idea of the game, congratulations <3 Obs: the sound effects are on point :)
I liked it a lot! The randomness of the game really fit the setting, you don't know if you'll be able to finish it just like the guy you play doesn't know if he could survive what he's going through. Nice.
liked it !
Nice minimalist game :)
when you die, you can still move, i don't like the fact that win doesn't depend on you because the red and yellow squares appear randomly.
congrats and hope it help.
Nice! :) I liked the visuals :)
