The most polished game I've played so far, and the opening transition was quite impressive. Nice work!

Audio comments were funny. I tried to play the game several times on normal and then easy mode, but as far as I could tell the game is unwinnable, to the point that anything you do is futile. With a little more work into balancing it could have been a lot better, I think.
Congrats on completing your first game jam! =)
Definitely greater than the sum of its parts. I had fun with it. =)
Looked really cool, but unfortunately crashes on startup on my x64 Windows 7 laptop. Any suggestions?
The Windows link seems to be broken.
Cool cursor, but I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do, and there were no instructions. Any chance we could get some instructions?
Easily the best game I've played so far (out of three). It's well rounded and complete, if a little easy and out of balance. Enjoyed playing, thanks!
Pretty simple game, seems like the game would be over as soon as you level up to the point that you can't outrun your bombs any more. (I screwed up before that.) A few enemies, or even just some randomly spawning bombs to avoid would have kicked it up a notch.
Thanks for sharing it!
Best game I've played so far (played 4 others). It's very simple but effective as a game. Reminded me for some reason of Robotron.
Pretty solid effort, well done.
Best game design of anything I've played so far. Clever, minimalistic stuff.
@ Eric and wibbly:
The first puzzle starts with all tiles placed, just the animal tokens to put down. Seems like that's confusing people. Oops. =(
You can click on any of the red puzzle numbers to switch to a different setup.
@ Skully:
Thanks for the encouragement!
@ Kimau:
Yeah, I ran out of time before converting most of the text-based events produced by the simulation into visual cues in the game. Sounds like I would have done better to just show all that info on the screen. Live and learn, I guess. =) I'll do better next time.
Interesting concept (similar to my game, in fact!). Would have liked to play more but couldn't get past 4 culture points because of game crashes. =(
Playing the windows version, and based on the above comments I'm not sure I'm playing the same game. There's a big grid with only one other arrow on it, you kill it and win. Is that what everyone else is seeing?
Abstaining to vote until I know I'm playing the final version. =)
So, was the first guy immune to me? I seemed pretty deadly.
Very funny game! I had this idea half way through the competition and thought it would be genius to make a game about running out of space on the computer. I especially love the cutscene at the beginning. But I would personally change the trail to make it distinct from the cursor and make it get harder much faster.
Extremely well done I would have never have had half the ideas your did for the aesthetics. Some unfair deaths The part where they lock on I had no idea where it was coming then it was a different one! and then it was the boss! and some of the enemy attacks blend in too much with the particles. But in all it was really fun mastering each stage of the boss the most fun I've had playing a Ludum Dare game so far.
Very simple but it does it's job very well. Very professional, I could see this as the type of game everyone would install on school computers. I liked the game start and end sounds that's what the ball hitting sound should have been, the little static sound didn't sound too good to me. Very innovative and fun take on the theme though!
Very impressive, worked perfect. Good music and atmosphere. Although it was really annoying because I kept accidentally lifting the blocks to high.
Not really a game... interesting concept and I liked the aesthetic. But didn't catch my attention at all nothing to involve the player is in it at all.
It was extremely confusing at first and I had no idea what to do or what existed in the playable space. It was fun learning the controls but I always seemed to die no matter how slow I was going and it took way to long to get slow. Also I really didn't like the sound effects they sounded like someone making gross noises into my discord call. But it was still really funny, fun to play, and had nice looking graphics.
Well polished and fun during the entire playthrough. A little bit annoying how you can't talk to someone again unless you walk away first though.
Very nice music, but the collision is very glitchy. Also not much gameplay just trial and error
Very well done, very polished, nice sound, nice graphics, fun gameplay. My only complaint is I had no idea what was going on for a while.
It was really fun! I really like the near miss system, it promotes being dangerous so and cleverly makes it so a very good player won't get bored and a bad one won't be frustrated. I really like the planets too, although the asteroids clip glitchy with them and it's kinda annoying. The controls could be smoother (Even on gamepad it seems to snap between not moving and moving a lot) but other than that great game!
Gamepad support is a nice touch. I liked the sound and design of the party above you a lot, maybe some beeps and boops would have been nice when picking up the dropping crates. The crates got put into a position where I couldn't pick any of them up a couple times.
Very well done! The most polished Ludum Dare game I have played so far. No only problem I had was it was boringly easy for the first couple minutes and after the big pirate ship spawned I was overwhelmed I guess because I hadn't played properly up until the point but I couldn't tell because it was too easy until then
Yay another Godot user!
I was confused at first by the brace and duct tape it wasn't clear what they do. You move really slow, I personally would make the player faster and make the space bigger. The challenge doesn't seem to ramp up fast enough, I got bored after a minute or so.
Why the installer???? very annoying.
"My mom scored well on this one"
Music is a bit annoying although you did have an option to mute it props for that
There is no tutorial (at least as far as I could tell) so I didn't know what to do for a while and didn't know why I was dying (or even taking damage for that matter)
I would be nice for a sound effect when your recharged and the movement seemed way to slippery hard to stay on the white tiles. Other than that I had fun playing it and it had nice music.
Very nice. Very polished and fun. How to music cuts out between levels is a bit sudden and how when you die its cuts instantly to the main menu was a bit jarring.

The graphics and sound are amazingly impressive. The gameplay is really unique too but I it was hard to tell if it was ever working right.
It was pretty fun when it was working. Everyone likes to walk off screen and it seems impossible to find the person your looking for (I even tried clicking on every single person and couldn't find the right one). I liked the start menu a lot. Also it was really easy to understand how to play right from the start. Music was a bit repetitive though (maybe that's just me).
@sundancekid Wow I had no idea you could walk lol I thought I was missing something
I got an error

I tried installing the dll then I got this
error2.png
You graphics looked really good shame I can't play it
@notime4name unfortunately that wasn't the problem I already had it installed and re-installing didn't do anything
@notime4name I'm definitely x64
Very polished! looks very good and nice intro cutscene! It was hard to tell where the player was at first.
Very nice and well polished. Would be nice if the main gameplay mechanic had more of a reason to exist (perhaps make it so the buildings cant should through eachother so you have to think more carefully). But it was a fun time nonetheless!
It doesn't make any sense to me (maybe I just don't get it) and the music was really loud for me
Nice, something is just extremely satisfying about destroying a bunch of villagers. Music and sound design was pretty good for a LD game. The only major complaint I have is the controls didn't feel that intuitive to me often it was pointing to somewhere I didn't want it too.
Very nice aesthetics! I love the neon look. It was also very fun and introduces mechanics very nicely and subconsciously teaches you. I did get a crash a little bit through the web version though.
Wow, good everything, brilliant concept and well done. Could use adjustable jump based on how much you hold it down for tighter controls.
Very unique and genuinely fun! I was really confused at first but a really interesting game once I figured it out.
Beautiful graphics, nice presentation. Very fun to play through it and pretty challenging too. Nice job!
Wow first multiplayer game I've seen! Played well and was fun to play although I don't understand the win condition. And the game doesn't scale to the window (Very easy fix in Godot just enable it in project settings). The sound was loud but I liked it a lot, very neat concept!
Well made, I got bored of the gameplay pretty fast because it was too easy for me though. Nice game.
Very well done! It has great graphics and good gameplay, at least at first, tt gets very repetitive after a big because its too easy the only times I lost health were because I didn't know a coffin was low (You should make the seconds more red or something the closer it is to zero). Also some creepy atmospheric music would have been cool.
@ittinop Nice!
Fun and well made. The camera shakes everytime you fire so the screen is just constantly shaking and it's pretty annoying (You should just have camera shake whenever you hit an enemy). Sound was very well done and the difficulty didn't curve too sharply, although the spawners seemed extremely tanky and not worth attacking at all.
Wow very good game! I love the unique mechanics! Good music and art as well. Only downside is the length but thats to be expected in a game jam.
It doesn't seem to work for me
@call-me-nutty Yeah a lot of people seemed to be confused on what happens when you eat a shape, so I changed my game page to say **Everytime you eat a shape you go back to your base size and change shape, the kind of shape you can eat depends on the shape you are**
I really love the art! how the aesthetics are portrayed are really nice and you can somehow make a likable character I care about in seconds. The gameplay was a little too simple for me didn't seem to be anything to do after a minute (maybe make it faster or less turn based?).
Very funny game! I especially love how Despacito is just out of reach. but it seems to run at an extremely low frame rate for me for some reason. I thought the character was just slow but he seemed to sometimes speed up when in certain rooms. It bothered me how the text was in front of the player. It would have been fun to explore and play if it was running smoothly. The art is really well done (The player could have used some sort of jumping animation though seemed a bit strange) and the music was good albeit a little repetitive.
Really well done. Very fun, very polished, good music. The only criticisms I have are their doesn't seem to be an escape button (Not that I could tell), and not having invincibility frames after getting hit is really annoying, especially if their are a bunch of enemy bullets right on top of each other.
Very impressive not many 3D games on Ludum Dare cool concept with dimension switching nice take on the theme. Collision is really glitchy in 3D. It is impossible to tell which way anything is in 2D because I have no frame of reference, is going right going forward in 3D? Apparently not seeing as I'm back at the beginning. I don't know if their is supposed to be sound but any kind of sound would be nice. I liked the style of the game a lot and the atmosphere.
I like the cute animations and the game worked for what it was trying to do, shame their isn't much content after the first couple seconds. The music was a bit too repetitive for my tastes.
Fun, unique, polished. I have nothing negative to say
Very funny dialog!
The red battery gave me anxiety lol
The gameplay is actually fun unlike most of these games and it had a story which is very nice.
The only problem I had was the UI being really small (I'm using Google Pixel)
I love the aesthetic, the title screen and the intractable environment were amazing. The sound was really repetitive to me and the controls seemed a little bit strange and unnatural to me but it was fun to play!
