I'm afraid your link is dead....

@royocup: Sorry, I forgot to make my itch.io page public. I've just done it now.

Did I miss something? I saw a lot of text/story, and a lot of press any key to continue, but not any choices or gameplay.

martintristan 2018-08-14 00:57

Is there a web build? Can't download right now.

predominant 2018-08-14 02:35

A little confusing, is there some interaction other than continuing? Feels more like a story.

jimmyc 2018-08-14 06:30

The game feels more like a e-book.....

truc-e 2018-08-14 09:00

Not really a game... interesting concept and I liked the aesthetic. But didn't catch my attention at all nothing to involve the player is in it at all.

martintristan 2018-08-15 05:35

this would have been great if there was player interaction but i understand that this is a kinetic novel. the writing is good and tight, albeit a little too ordinary. Maybe a fantasy or scifi story? :D

Anyways, I'll go check out parts 1 and 2 of this!

I was expecting a text adventure but I got no choices. Did I miss something or is this just a "press space to read the next part of the story" game? Other than that I find the idea intresting, no a lot of games here which are console only!

catbutt 2018-08-15 11:17

hm... story didn't catch my attention

antonsem 2018-08-15 19:27

Nice idea but I wish there was some interactivity. I did like the idea of sequels for each ludum. Hope to see a text adventure next time :)

greenbluebit 2018-08-16 09:06

Good idea and I like that you're doing a connection to a previous entry. When I do jams I also do a similar thing, with titles at least :D But the story is not very gripping and it's a bit too much straight forward

julien-foucher 2018-08-16 09:27

It's original, but i'm not sure we can call that a game. The only interaction is to press any key to continue reading. That would have been great to have some sort of interraction, like choices that impact the story, stuff like that. I was reading and pressing space bar hopping for the game to start, but it did not happend :'(

By the way, making a game using only the console is a great idea.

if you make these just to be able to review, that's pretty fuckin clever

dodoita 2018-08-17 10:12

I'm not sure you can call it a game, but it's surely well screenplayed xD

matt-tuttle 2018-08-18 04:10

I was expecting something a bit more interactive. Nice story, but I was hoping for a branching story or choice of some kind.

eric-kulbiej 2018-08-25 17:32

Great art style and sound. Good job. I like the mechanics as well. Keep it up!

Please do check my game maybe you’ll like it and leave some feedback.

toadietechnika 2018-08-27 02:28

I'll commend the portability of this game. Not much interaction for a gameplay (where you can just press any button on the keyboard), but the story is well written and can also be up for more potential in a bigger picture.

erikkire 2018-09-01 19:27

There are surprisingly very few text-based games here so I had high hopes when I saw this. However, there should be more player interactions and not just reading a text. I hope you could add some options for a future jam!
