Interesting idea, sort of like a survival wave themed game. Good implementation

:D Nice idea, would be great to see it in html5 or on a phone. Though I understand it's a hassle, been putting mine on my phone and it's a bit of an issue to handle the ui and sound.
Good idea and I like that you're doing a connection to a previous entry. When I do jams I also do a similar thing, with titles at least :D But the story is not very gripping and it's a bit too much straight forward
Great work on the graphics, really caught my eye. It's obvious you put a lot of work into it.
Oh wow, this is so old style, gave me quite the retro feel, thanks for that :D
I agree with the other people, link the games in .rar files and put them maybe on gamejolt or itch.io, feels more comfortable for us. As for the game, nice idea, there are confusions with the different types of mushrooms, but I think you guys did good for the time constraints.
I like the idea but as it was said before, if it was actually multiplayer, it would be more accessible. Regardless, I'll try it with a friend today and see how it actually feels with other people.
Hey, the game itself is complex and at first I was just sitting there wandering what I got myself into. But I love what you accomplished. Has a nice god-game feel to it. And hey, I recognize catlikecoding :D I find that site as one of the best sources for learning. Very impressed with what you got to in such a limited time frame. I bookmarked it, will play some more and show friends :D
Hey @meatpudding thanks for checking it out. To answer you, no there's no other button :D it's just a simple relaxing game. I agree and a lot of people have suggested to maybe remove destroyed factories or on hit remove them. But yes, I was jumping on the theme wagon :)
hey @void-productions thanks :D I completely missed that, will fix it and put it as a POST-jam build. Glad you liked it, I was really aiming to bring that in the game :)
@nikasxirtla thanks. I'll see if I can polish it a bit more, at the moment it feels like the user could use more feedback. Or maybe change the colors of the broken factories.
@skyc not sure what you mean by that. But first of all, factories die after a random amount of time of working. Did you mean that you shot a new pod(pre-landed factory) and you didn't hit another factory but it just died instantly?
Oh man, that's odd, could be hardware, but ok good point, I'll limit the click to once, it's just odd because I already have a delay on it. Thanks
@walnoot do you have any ideas of some mechanics I could work on? Anything you might like to see if you were to play it?
@superendeg I guess I have to give more feedback to the user, I agree. Thanks a lot for checking it out.
@kokonaught totally agreed, I also noticed the music can be broken by the notes when firing. I just couldn't figure out how to make it work and liked the idea of adding to the song so much that I went with it anyway. If you have some thoughts on maybe how to handle it, I'd love to hear.
I often seem to see these kind of games with having your own desktop in game jams. And here you did your own spin based on the theme, which is interesting. Good job.
Really nice premise for a game. Having something like ammo affect the world you play in sets a lot of limitations on the player. But I really don't like the fire background, should have been as minimalistic as the rest of the design. Oh and I love loosing sides as you loose health.
At first I was confused and took all the garbage, but once I figured it out, it made a lot more sense. Maybe enforce on the first ship to have a type of resource, after I saw the colored ones on the next ship, it made far more sense.
Hah! awesome! really simple and really well planned.
The game had it's luls with the size being far too big and it slows down a lot. But a very interesting concept :D
Interesting idea but I agree, it's theme is not clear and the design itself is not very clean. Maybe some better introduction, or difference in the types of "cards" other than the color matches.. I really don't know.
@skyc Completely understood, it was just my feedback as to why I at least, had trouble getting into it. Regardless, good work.
Oh wow, completely blew me away. I did not expect this from just the screens.
Cool idea to make for a stacker :) I think you did a great job. I do agree with everyone else, the visuals need a bit more work, but for what it is and the time spend on it, it has a good fun and I enjoyed it
Love the style :D, that table cracks me up.
