Really nice premise for a game. Having something like ammo affect the world you play in sets a lot of limitations on the player. But I really don't like the fire background, should have been as minimalistic as the rest of the design. Oh and I love loosing sides as you loose health.
Thanks, @greenbluebit. The lava background gave us a lot of pain. Our original shader wasn't compatible with webGL build so we have to change it to more simplistic version.
Good game :) i really like the colors and graphics
Very well executed game ! I like the fact that you can make ennemies kill each other in order to keep your bullet  simple concept with still some kind of strategy !
nice
Quite a nice idea for the theme.
Very nice game. I making things like world size and ammo depend on each other is a very interesting idea.
Hey ! got through three plays of your game, I liked the idea ! What I really liked overall is how you used the minimalist graphism to give a feedback about health points : triangle have one, squares have two, etc. I believe this was a very cheap yet smart way to give an instant feedback to player. The idea of using ammo as a way to reduce the arena' size is good, but I think you could have made more interactions with it (I know, it's LudumDare, you probably didn't have time). I believe that if some enemies could have been able to push you instead of damaging you, making the use of your ammo even more interesting in some case ! The game plays good, the sound is quite tight and music makes the feet dance around. Good job !
seems like a shrinking arena is popular theme, nice spin though to link it to your ammo so it can grow in size. My favorite tactic was to let them shoot each other xD but sadly they seem to not want to shoot each other anymore when grouped together.. :\ liked the audio, fitted really wel
Hey, @demn, I wrote a blogpost about our development cycle. You are right, we didn't have time (and even more, we started only after 36 hours jam started).
Thank you for your nice ideas and useful feedback. I can't disagree about pushing enemies (you can push enemies too, but it's too dangerous).
I really like the idea of the stage shrinking with the use of ammo. It's a Battle Royale but using ammos instead of time and I think it's original and clever. Nice idea to change the shape to indicate the life, I like these kind of takes on the user interface, being more fluid and a part of the game instead of a simple health bar on top of everything. You did a great job!
Awesome game. I was pleasantly suprised with the overall mood of the game. Hope you develop a post jam version for this!
The only way to "win" is choosing "+5 Ammo", right? If you don't choose this you will run out of space very fast. I think recover some ammo automatically would be good, because doesn't matter if you take no damage, you have to shoot to win and when you do this you lose space, so for me there was no option, you can only choose the ammo if you want to play more.
@kogyblack,yeah, it was planned to give ammo if you cleared the wave without being hit. But somehow in overall hurry we forgot about that.
About the best tactic -- no, you can level up your speed and make enemies kill each others. It will be harder, but more reliable in a long run.
Very original idea. Art is lacking, but it doesn't look bad. Mechanics are good, though I would like an easier way to receive ammo. I saw someone suggesting automatic recovery, and I think that would be a good step. Otherwise, a very good game.
