LD42 — Running out of space

Ghost Cleaner by akai_0okami 2018-08-18T20:35:45Z

This is really cool! A bigger screen/house would make this game a lot better. Maybe a difficulty setting could determine how big the house is and how many people are in the house. The music and sound effects all fit together very nicely, and it's so cool to see what people can do in GameMaker (I used it too)! Well done :)

Your PC run out of space by Listonos 2018-08-12T21:34:49Z

Haha that was pretty funny :)

Dark Forest by Tero Pulkkinen 2018-08-13T02:04:24Z

Now that is some trippy stuff! But the cool kind of trippy. Cool stuff :)

Runnink out of Space by Aurel300 2018-08-18T20:30:39Z

This is an incredible game! Very puzzling and thought provoking, definitely something I will return to later. The art, music, sound fx, it was all really good! Extremely polished, and it's incredible that this was made in less than 72 hours!

Welcome to BURELAND by eptwalabha 2018-08-19T22:54:05Z

I made it to the 12th basement! This is great. With improved art, I could see this game as a real success! It would be cool if there were other ways to attack, like maybe the player had the ability to do damage to a tile from farther away. Well done :)

Throwing Science Out The Window! by SimplePotential 2018-08-13T01:56:25Z

You commented on one of my posts a while back, so the name of your game is in my game. I knew I had to try it! Accurately named, I'd say, and a pretty cool soundtrack, too. One thing I noticed was that I couldn't exit the game I was in. Is there even a lose state? I had like -30% science. But that's okay, who would want to leave your game anyways :)

Slaughter House by masterkrepta 2018-08-19T21:44:44Z

I scored 62! My strategy was to kill all of the animals except for the last one, and then use the free time to push all of the other animals in. I also killed most animals while standing in the grinder. Something that slaughtered the fun (pun intended), however, was the collisions. I felt as if I was taking damage for no reason, and I had to keep myself positioned extremely far away from anything; the dead animals seemed to be hurting me too! Good collisions are essential for a top down shooter game, but I think when that is fixed, this game will be amazing. Great entry!

by Peredom 2018-08-13T15:28:35Z

I thought it was pretty cool, and the concept can definitely be expanded upon. This is a great prototype of a game, and that's amazing that you made it in three hours :)

Platform One by UnlikelyNomad 2018-08-13T01:50:26Z

Whelp, I definitely ran out of space! In space! Funny game with goofy characters :)

Super Crate Hoarder by neipo13 2018-08-13T14:57:02Z

This is great! There were a lot of cool guns to try out. I like that the score was based on boxes rather than enemies, because it encouraged me to try out all the new guns. I experienced a couple of random crashes, but other than that it was a great experience :)

Final Push by Rik_Thunder 2018-08-22T17:21:25Z

Awesome game! I'm glad I was able to beat all of it. It took me a while to figure out all of the mechanics. The music really isn't bad. The ending scene was really cool! One bug I found was that the sprites would freak out when you push a gray box onto a floor box. The sprites would flicker between the black box and the floor box. Overall, well done :)

Final Push by Rik_Thunder 2018-09-03T21:57:55Z

@rik-thunder Of course! Great entry :)

The Not Very Golden Age of Piracy by nuclearfriend 2018-08-13T15:40:55Z

What isn't to like about this game? The dialogue is hilarious, the game-play is fun, the art-style blew me away.. Great game, and one I definitely won't be uninstalling after the jam :)

Space Escape by paulhocker 2018-08-17T23:14:13Z

This is cool! It liked the audio and visuals. A simple, easy game done well :)

Literally by batmanasb 2018-08-19T22:09:59Z

I was never able to figure this out, but it is interesting! I like how the level never restarts, so all the corpses remain on the planet. I think that there should be a way to skip the intro, or the intro should be made more interesting with music, sound fx, ect. Good job :)

Too Many Boxes by jasperarmstrong 2018-08-13T02:40:00Z

After serving a couple of prison sentences for littering, I scored 6! This game has hilariously bad physics, but they're good, like in a Goat Simulator sort of way. So it was fun to figure out how to store boxes in this wacky world were boxes are heavier than steel but can go through walls :)

Test Subject 42 by nihilaleph 2018-08-27T00:32:42Z

That was rough! I had fun throwing stuff all over the place. Very fun physics. The objective of the game was sort of confusing, like sometimes I'd do something and hear a sound that sounded the same as the electrocution sound. Something to indicate health would be useful. Overall, very good mood and fits the theme well :)

The Infinite Hotel by mikethewayne 2018-08-26T23:57:04Z

This is a really cool game! I had to reread the instructions a couple of times and play for 15 minutes before I really understood what I had to do. For me, when the instructions are given through a paragraph of text, it can confuse me more than if the game was just intuitive enough to teach me how to play through game play. I really like the art and the mechanics. It's definitely not what I expected. Also, this game is a bit difficult to get up and running. If it's not extracted the right way, none of the images show up, but I was able to figure that out quickly. Overall, well done :)

Stop breathing pls by Djack D Donovan 2018-08-18T19:15:37Z

This is a cool concept! The art and music is done very well. I'd love to see where this project goes if you choose to continue it, which you should :)

Kingdom Brunel in the Temple of Teacakes by Temmy 2018-08-13T14:27:50Z

That was awesome! I got 46 points. When a game has funny dialogue, that's always bonus points from me. The character movement was also very fun, and this game definitely seems like it would be good to speed run. It was a smart addition to remind the player about the jet-pack on death, because I didn't know I had one in my first play through, and after learning the new mechanic, the game became a lot more fun :)

EVOLUTION by Noa Calice 2018-08-22T18:06:37Z

I won! Or lost.. There isn't much that I can say that hasn't already been said, and the art amazes me as always. Well done :)

Crates by Solrun 2018-08-18T19:26:44Z

That was... WOW! I'm not going to spoil anything for people who haven't played, but what I will say is that this game is done incredibly well, and could very well win the entire jam! And you made this alone? The mood is incredible! The audio is amazing! I might have to have another play through! Good job! Seriously, this is incredible :)

Memory.exe by Squidly 2018-08-13T02:11:33Z

Wow. I don't know what I was expecting, but that was better! And the soundtrack was great, I hope it won't be your last track. Only made it pass the tutorial in my play-through, but I hope I will get back to this game soon :)

City2048 by shrekshao 2018-08-19T22:40:20Z

Cool game! I played it for quite a while, it's definitely addicting. It's impressive how many different building models you were able to create in such a short time. It would be nice if there was an option to speed up the game. Great job :)

6 K by pataya 2018-08-17T23:29:06Z

My high score is 98848! In easy mode... This game is so fun and addicting! Additionally, it is incredibly polished for a game jam game, or even any game! This is something I would expect to find on the steam store! The music, art, game play, it's all incredible :)

ForestDefence by lunarDust 2018-08-22T17:27:05Z

This is really cool! Definitely not what I expected. This works great with the theme. It would be awesome if the stages were bigger or there were different levels. The art style and audio fit perfectly! Well done :)

Cache_ by Gamescalation 2018-08-13T15:06:24Z

Great graphics, mechanics, and artwork. A pretty cool challenge :)

Nose Picker by gimbalock 2018-08-19T21:55:08Z

I'm a Goob Noob.. The sound effects were perfectly disgusting! Nice job :)

Pop it! by LJay 2018-08-17T23:08:23Z

I had fun with this one! The sounds were good, and the graphics were nicely done. I am not sure that a timer really fits in this type of game, though, especially in "don't press" mode. Also, I'm unsure why the button is named that. I originally thought it was a quit game button, so when I went to quit, I was surprised to see it start. That was the best mode in my opinion. I believe that you should remove the timer and change the button to say "endless mode." Overall, this is a good entry :)

We Haul by Swordfish 2018-08-18T01:21:47Z

I got 32237! Something like this seems like it would be better if it was level based. Maybe the player could go from house to house cleaning them out. The music could be a little less harsh on the ears, or the game could just have the option to mute sound. Overall, this is a cool game for a game jam :)

Edge Runner by Johnny Turbo 2018-08-18T21:00:45Z

This is great! The line movement was incredibly satisfying, and the highlight of the game for me. The invisibility mode was amazing, and kind of made me wish that the entire game was faster. Maybe the planets could move at the same speed, but I think the game would feel a lot better if the base background speed was faster (+ then you could make the invincible mode go at HYPERSPEED!). The menu screen seemed extremely convoluted with text. I'd recommend making some different buttons to go to different parts of the menu, like one to go to your YouTube channel, ect. There were some dialogue typos, but that's no big deal. The line about space expanding was hilarious! Great job!

Running out of Platforms by Fork0 2018-08-18T00:41:20Z

I scored 1130! Awesome concept for a game! The music and sound effects work nicely. It would be cool if the platforms fit in more with the space background. Also, some power ups would be cool and add to the replay value of this game. Overall, this is a cool game for only 48 hours :)

Satellites by Bewelge 2018-08-12T23:47:43Z

Great music and art made the experience enjoyable. Even if I had no idea what to do :)

Bee-rilliant Farm by Noxbuds 2018-08-27T00:15:00Z

This is great! The artwork and sounds are very well done. I played this for a while, and still I didn't get to see all of the content. Well done :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T00:43:49Z

@cr0w Haha, thanks. That gave me a laugh reading that :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T00:44:24Z

@jelbre Noted. Thanks for the feedback!

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T01:27:26Z

@liven Oh no! Yes please, I've never heard of such an error..

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T01:28:26Z

@doey That's not the first time I've heard that about the key, I guess I definitely have to make it more clear. Thanks for playing my game and leaving feedback :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T02:26:38Z

@jasperarmstrong 250 seconds? Not bad! As for the password: it's programmed a little bit weirdly, so it will only accept the password if you type it with ALL CAPITALS or all lowercase. When I first implemented them, there was a lot of times when I'd capitalize the first letter of the password on instinct, but then I'd have to retype it. Maybe this isn't communicated well in the game, but every time you complete a password ad, the spawn rate of the ads decrease, meaning it would get harder slower and you can make it much longer. My personal best is about 500 :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T14:05:10Z

@coldfire83 Yeah, haha, I'll try to find a better way to communicate that mechanic. Thanks for the feedback!

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T14:07:14Z

@simplepotential LOL! I took a risk with the audio because I didn't know how people would react, but I'm glad that it seems to have paid off. Sorry about your antivirus, maybe my game shouldn't be named like a virus. Thanks for playing :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T19:21:02Z

@sharks I can't wait for you to play it :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T19:30:19Z

@mertios I'm glad that you enjoyed the game (and figured out the key mechanic)! Of course, I'm still going to make it more clear for people who don't understand. Also, I'm impressed that you sat through 240 seconds of me making random sounds, haha. The desktop apps don't really do much besides pay homage to some other games and talk to you, but they also act as your health when the game starts. When the app is faded in the GUI, it is covered. When all apps are covered, the ads have full control and swarm your computer to make it crash! Adding power-ups is a great idea! Thanks for rating & giving feedback :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-13T19:32:23Z

@gamebuilder I've actually never heard of her until your comment! That's some pretty crazy stuff. Accidental inspiration? Also, "A nightmarish cacophony of insidious marketing" - can I use that? That's such an amazing quote for this game! Thanks for your review :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-14T17:18:48Z

@teelin Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-15T21:13:04Z

@jimbly So a zip file with one executable in it? LOL! 317 seconds is the highest time anyone has reported so far, so your strategy is very good! Thanks for the suggestion :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-15T21:14:52Z

@elfcirynn That's an easy fix, thanks for suggesting it :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-15T21:15:46Z

@awix I definitely will :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T00:03:35Z

@jimbly Oops! You were right, haha. I created a .zip download :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T19:04:19Z

@balance686 Thank you! Haha, I was so tired just after the second day of the jam that I decided to just turn in what I had, so I could just relax on the third. Also, I thought I was being really clever with my take on the theme, but it seems like there are desktops everywhere! Maybe I should've taken it a step further by making a SPACE computer background :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T19:06:34Z

@greenbluebit Thanks!

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T19:07:29Z

@fork0 290 is an awesome score, thanks for playing! Also, I think you mean local grills ;)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T19:08:06Z

@danny-sun Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T21:23:32Z

@johnny-turbo Haha, I'm glad my voice ad(d)s to the experience ;) A lot of people had that strategy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it has shown me that there needs to be an incentive to complete the password ads. Maybe I'll ad(d) a multiplier that increases when the player completes one. Thanks for playing!

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T21:29:42Z

@haberworks Sounds like fun, LOL! You can be the DJ :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-18T21:49:12Z

@negativegeforce A lot of games in this jam were using RAM meters, so if I do decide to continue this game, that may be something that I continue to stray away from. Maybe I could make this mechanic more obvious or prominent by changing the GUI a little bit, or I could add an audio queue for when an app is covered. You're right about the art & kill codes. In the future, I might make the password.txt pop-out of the ad as its own thing. Thanks for the feedback :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-19T22:01:24Z

@masterkrepta That's more or less what I was going for, LOL! I've heard the kill code issue come up a lot, so I may re-implement the idea in a different way. Thanks for playing :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-22T17:05:33Z

@reax Thanks :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-08-22T18:08:20Z

@cristihkj Thank you for playing :)

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-09-03T22:00:29Z

@zombie-virals Thanks - I'm glad to hear that I nailed the feel of actual adware, LOL!

Adware Attack by AdonisDevs 2018-09-03T22:06:15Z

@nihilaleph Thank you for playing! I'm glad that my low-effort assets worked with the game, haha. And a side-note: 300 is one of the highest scores recorded on here, so maybe you're just an adware clickin' pro (or I've got some balancing to do!) Nonetheless, I appreciate the feedback!

Spacebars by The Triumvirate 2018-08-18T01:28:58Z

I think I won, or the game crashed! This happened when I finished level 2 with 0 jumps left. I like the concept of typing to interact with buttons, but it does become a little bit tedious, especially typing "retry" every time. Maybe you should allow the player to click it, too, and the typing could be an alternative method. What I played before the crash seemed very good, nice job :)

Recycling frenzy by Sharks 2018-08-13T15:12:19Z

The GUI didn't appear on my screen for some reason. Other than that, the game seemed pretty good. Especially good job on the music :)

Inventory Apocalypse by Naruvan 2018-08-22T17:46:55Z

I won! There's actually a surprisingly large amount of content compacted into this. This game is extremely fast paced because of the decreasing hunger and thirst, and I think that it's good because it prevented me from becoming bored. The graphics fit very nicely into this, too. Some music and sound effects would be great. Very good job :)

Beater by Velocity7 2018-08-22T17:10:41Z

Interesting. Very good choice of songs :)

Screen Space Defender by Balance686 2018-08-17T23:38:48Z

This is very hard! This is a good challenge. The visuals are done well. Good entry :)

cargOS by tigerj 2018-08-22T17:56:34Z

This is very cool! The art work and audio are amazing. I found this incredibly difficult; this is a great challenge! Well done :)

Gretchen's Head by gamebuilder 2018-08-13T14:02:37Z

I got 8 memories! Some of the later level layouts are very interesting and cleverly designed. With some better art and music, I can see myself playing that for hours :)

Alchemist's Apprentice by zachw136 2018-08-12T23:17:42Z

The music was good, and the dialogue was funny! However, I can never be bothered to read a box of text :)

Deep Decent by DanielEFisher 2018-08-13T14:17:33Z

Great graphics and animations! The game is pretty hard, too. Well done!

Eggstra Space by thegreentofu 2018-08-18T20:50:14Z

I made it to level 3! I had to quit, however, as the game just became too tedious and repetitive. The second level is a prime example of this, in my opinion. The level could've been shorter, long enough to introduce the concept, but not too long as to bore the player. The music was good, I just wish it was longer and the loop was less obvious. Also, to remove the virus message, you can compress all of the game files into a .zip. Great jam entry :)

Death Remains by DuckyDaniel 2018-08-12T23:59:19Z

Really neat! Thank you for not putting a paragraph of information in the "help" page, it's always nice when the game just flows nicely and is really intuitive. Cool pixel art, epic music, and an amazing concept. Well done :)

Give Me Space by annoyedCactus 2018-08-13T02:01:11Z

Hehe, space puns are the best! For some reason the game wasn't working quite right, or maybe I was doing it wrong, but the soundtrack kept me entertained, as well as the little descriptions for each of the planets :)

Rumble Trouble by alexkarate 2018-08-18T00:50:49Z

I've seen this type of concept done before in the past, but this one is done very well! The level design is simple but fun, and I would love to see more levels from this game in the future, as well as some better art. Great job :)

The City Of Forgotten Toys by dk5000p 2018-08-13T02:18:52Z

Thaaaaaat's a song that is never going to be out of my head, haha. I made it to the mayor, but I think I got the bad ending. Congrats on your first Ludum Dare :)

Classic Snake (Made by 12 yr old) by James51332 2018-08-19T21:51:05Z

This is very cool! I'm 14, and this was also my first Ludum Dare. This is, as the title implies, "Classic Snake," so there isn't a lot to say about the game play: it's classic. This is a very cool take on it though! The controls were mostly responsive and the game felt good to play. The simple art style was also very appealing. I was making NOTHING like this when I was 12, and I've heard Java isn't the easiest language to learn, so well done :)

Insufficient Storage by Doey 2018-08-13T00:39:50Z

Woah! The art was telling me to smile and laugh, but the music was telling me that I was about to get jump-scared by squid creatures! I didn't even feel safe in my bubble thingy! Okay, I'm calm. Great atmosphere, lots of content, but the game almost seems anti-theme, which is totally cool. Good work :)

Desktop Clout! by James Shipp 2018-08-18T01:08:06Z

Interesting! The game definitely appears as a computer (and a little better than mine, haha). Some sound would make this game a lot better. Great entry :)

Doom Tower by Bensbuff 2018-08-12T23:12:32Z

Very interesting... I had no idea what was happening the first few times, but I eventually figured it out. By running in a random pattern, I was able to stay alive endlessly. I think that the game would be better if the kill streaks were not a full heal, maybe a heart or so, because I survived so long that I eventually just quit the game.

Nonetheless, very nice job! The pixel art was pretty cool too :)

The Pit by jelbre 2018-08-13T00:05:51Z

THE CHARACTER MOVEMENT FELT SO NICE. Sorry, but I really liked it! Anyways, this was a really simple game with a lot of potential. Solid game :)

How to please a Dragon by Kruemelkatze 2018-08-18T20:00:20Z

After a few tries, I scored 19720! I'm going to continue playing this game, because it has interesting mechanics that I still need to learn, and maybe I can increase my score. Cool entry, great audio and art :)

Greenie Goes Right by quicklyer 2018-08-13T00:25:25Z

I've probably seen games with 4k graphics today. But I have not had as much fun on those as I did this. This has huge potential on mobile :)

Memory Leak by cr0w 2018-08-13T00:51:28Z

That dog gave me the chills! Fluid animations on the character though. I like the idea, but I reached the end of the questions too quickly. That, or the character has a lot of childhood memories to forget. The character's artwork is nice, too :)

Memory Leak by cr0w 2018-08-13T01:23:59Z

@cr0w You had a Memory Leak?

No More Space in Space by Liven 2018-08-13T00:30:16Z

I'm so glad someone made this because I was going to make this, haha. Eventually, I got to the point where it was just a sandbox of objects. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but mayyyybe it happens too soon. Until then, I had fun :)

ChromeSmasher by Mexzter 2018-08-18T18:59:42Z

This is cool! I like the concept, it is a very unique take on the theme. Good effort making music and all of the art! This concept can, and should be, definitely expanded upon. Well done :)

No More Space by _Kassjak_ 2018-08-18T19:46:49Z

This game is really cool! One suggestion I would make is that you should change the difficulty curve. I found all the difficulties way too easy and the game seemed to be going on forever without any action. The fake anti-virus is the only way I lost, and that was because I was curios what it would do to the computer, haha. Overall, this is a solid entry for Ludum Dare - and a fun one at that :)

High Tide [html5] by SuperQGS 2018-08-18T01:14:35Z

This is pretty neat! The controls don't feel quite right. Maybe they would be better if I could hold down a direction and keep moving instead of having to continuously spamming it. Also, the music doesn't loop well. A fade out on the laser could make a big difference, too. Overall, this game has a lot of potential. Some new levels could add to the experience. Well done :)

Aperature XP by Johan Vischer 2018-08-18T01:38:23Z

This is great! It seems we have similar concepts. I guess great minds think alike! Your game really looks like a computer screen, and it's amazing! A lot of attention to detail and polishing went into this. The game is very easy though, and I had to intentionally allow the screen to fill up. Great entry :)

The Climb by Laughertes 2018-08-19T22:16:50Z

I scored 36! Interesting game. This concept seems like it would work good with levels. Nice job :)

Snek by dylanbr 2018-08-13T14:32:00Z

I really like how you did the controls! It was an interesting twist on this classic game. Nice job :)

Fluffy Tile World by sylvie 2018-08-13T15:18:36Z

This is great! Even though I couldn't make it past the first real puzzle, I enjoyed trying. I like that the tile concept plays throughout the entire world. The art style is very nice, and overall the game was very much worth playing :)

LD46 — Keep it alive

Back Four Seconds by madalaski 2020-04-25T23:26:23Z

This is great! The dialogue makes it so much better, too. I really liked how you did the tutorial :D

Bait by Jcourt 2020-04-21T22:12:42Z

This is such a unique idea! My only recommendation would be to make the enemies die when they hit you. It was very frustrating to get cornered by them with no way out. Other than that, great game :)

Keep the King Alive by Noxalus 2020-04-21T20:52:03Z

This is very interesting. I like the idea of this and can only see it being better if you add more structures to build. My only complaint would be the music - it was too short of a loop. Great game :)

Lunch or die! by Juhani Koskinen 2020-04-23T00:10:44Z

LOOOL I can't believe they just light you up as soon as you grab the food  This was very fun and challenging!

Space Engine Janitor by kschmidt 2020-04-26T05:12:24Z

This is pretty cool! It definitely needs better graphics and maybe a tutorial level would work better instead of a block of text. Nonetheless, this is awesome :D

Algernon's Flower by bentglasstube 2020-04-25T23:19:50Z

This is really cool! I do think that there was way too much to read and remember though. Certain things like "the plant needs water to live" are pretty intuitive, so you don't have to mention it in the list of directions. I did really like the idea and art :D

Prototype Towers by marbles 2020-04-25T22:54:46Z

I had a couple of weird bugged games, but afterwards I thought it was really fun! I made it to round 10 and then got destroyed lol. I think that besides balancing issues (I think the turrets should break down waaaaay less often) this would be basically perfect :D

A Letter To Ed by zoglu 2020-04-26T17:50:59Z

This is very good! The atmosphere and environment are perfect! My only recommendation would be to have an option to read the letters in a clearer font :)

Bubby by dnp 2020-04-20T02:33:13Z

This is really cool. I'm surprised that you had time for good level design! The player felt bouncy and he was fun to play as :)

Life of the Party by jelch 2020-04-22T22:29:41Z

This was a good experience! I actually enjoyed the writing because there was never too much text on the screen at one time, and it was very well written. I think I got the good ending lol :)

Pizza with a Pulse by slimabob 2020-04-25T22:39:15Z

This was pretty cool haha :D

Extreme Gardening by lilwavep 2020-04-22T22:45:00Z

I really enjoyed the game play! My only feedback is that it didn't feel too polished, and some of the assets didn't work well together - like the watering can wasn't the same style as the plants. However, this is still a lot of fun :)

Dragon Eggs: Greatest Hits Edition by Shaolin Dave 2020-04-25T23:13:14Z

I really enjoyed this! It surprisingly plays a lot differently than chess or checkers. I did get a bug where the enemy landed on me but my player disappeared. I also would recommend making the dice roll much faster or an option to roll them instantly. Nice :D

Keep the fire going by crazygamingfab 2020-04-23T20:33:37Z

This is cool :) You made a functional game that plays all the way through, which not a lot of other people can say. If you do plan to continue working on this game, I'd recommend making the player pick up the sticks and carry them back to the campfire before time gets added. Also, maybe some enemies would make it harder! I will say, you do get a few bonus points for not having obnoxiously loud bad music, which a lot of non-musician game developers seem to do haha (including me). Nice!

MR YELLOW by p-r 2020-04-26T17:20:54Z

This was a very interesting concept! Well done :)

Canyon Rush by Draklaw 2020-04-26T17:27:12Z

This is very cool! It is really clear that a lot of thought, effort, and polish went into this game, as it is loads of fun. Nice :D

Omiga Daycare by Wheffle 2020-04-26T17:36:50Z

I made around $2000 haha! This is very creative and fun. It really gets crazy later on. If you plan to continue development on this game (which you should), I would recommend having a shop where the user can spend the money on stuff that makes the work easier, such as an automatic feeder or something. But, for jam purposes, this is one of the better ones I've played :D

The Lumberjack by Howard Duong 2020-04-25T22:43:37Z

This was pretty cool. One thing I found weird, probably unintentional, is that pressing SPACE does damage to all of the enemies. Other than that, well done!

Heart Break by gnx 2020-04-22T22:50:02Z

I really liked the simplistic style :D Very challenging too. Interesting game!

"Covid Conundrum" Civil Policy Simulator by merrak 2020-04-25T19:24:22Z

This was very interesting! It had a lot of different things to manage, and it was really cool to see how opening and closing different places effected the curve :D

Keep It Alive by mhykah 2020-04-23T22:12:16Z

I guess I'm too good of a pet owner because it always died of happiness lol. I enjoyed this and the fourth wall breaks :D

Pretty impressive! I really like the art :D

HAHA! Wow the ending got me good. This is awesome.

My Game Jam Experience by RickSquanchez 2020-04-21T00:45:00Z

I made a game lol. This is very accurate, only wish I could throw the "art" box in the garbage too :P Good take on the theme!

Firelighter by WoooWooo 2020-04-25T18:16:00Z

I really liked this game both aesthetically and conceptually! My only recommendation would be to speed up the pacing :D

Courier of Fire by Balgorode 2020-04-21T00:39:30Z

SUCH GOOD LEVEL DESIGNS. Really polished puzzles were fun to play and rewarding to figure out, nice :D

Feed The Furnace by Frozedon 2020-04-21T02:41:29Z

sc_temp.PNG

Played this for a lot longer than I'm willing to admit, haha. This is very fun and polished :)

Vaccinator by niterich 2020-04-30T03:52:19Z

The flying was super fun! I think if you just added a high score and better assets, this would be so addicting to play :D

Shrodinger's Cat by Lex 2020-04-25T19:17:19Z

I thought this was great! Very simple and creative, and good for a quick play through :)

Mother Hen by beepyeah 2020-04-30T01:44:49Z

I really liked this game! I thought the levels were neat and the mechanics were interesting, but I never found any situation where I needed to roost. Also, I thought the flashing lights were way way to much, so maybe add an option to remove them. Nice game :)

Disco Lets's Go! by ariake81 2020-04-20T23:55:53Z

100% discooo! This is so creative yet easy to understand, that I'm amazed that someone could come up with this idea and execute it in such a short amount of time. This would make a great mobile app :)

Sunflower Strife by Sami 2020-04-20T23:52:07Z

This is so cool :D Something about the water droplets bouncing off of the fire just made me laugh lol. I think this idea is great and I enjoyed playing it :)

VampySitter by MacDoom 2020-04-30T02:45:06Z

This is really cool, I especially liked the graphics. It's a very dark game and the atmosphere was near perfect, but for some reason I didn't think the in game music fit too well - not that the music was bad, but it isn't the music I think of when I think of vampire. The music to the opening sequence and the sequence in general was a perfect opening to the game though. The game play doesn't have a lot to it and I think that the cross and garlic are too similar (unless I misunderstood how to use them). I enjoyed this :D

Bringing Home the Bacon by RubixNoob13 2020-04-26T04:50:26Z

This is very neat! My game is made in Godot too and plays very similar (because it's just buttons), so it was cool to see a different idea. One thing I would recommend that is very quick but makes everything look a lot better is using textured buttons instead of the default ones. My other piece of advice would be to keep the font consistent Also, 60 days is pretty extreme lol. As for the positives, the art was amazing and the game was very intuitive. I could see something like this becoming really addictive to play, and it would make a great mobile game. Really good way to tackle the theme, nice :)

Meltdown by TheFoppian 2020-04-21T00:21:05Z

This is actually awesome. I played this for about 30 mins trying to understand it and skimming through the manual, and it is actually very interesting. Unfortunately, I think that there is too much to learn and understand in order to enjoy this game, that I don't think everyone will play it all the way through. I would recommend playing an audio of someone reading the manual to the player so that they don't have to read it. For example, add a radio to the desk that when clicked will read it for you while you play. I'd be interested in seeing a video on how this game is intended to be played, because my strategy didn't get me very far, haha. Awesome entry :)

Panda Smash by rumor 2020-04-20T23:13:54Z

As frustrated as I'd imagine trying to breed pandas in real life is, haha! Great game, and I really liked the atmosphere :)

Inanis by FabiGhindaru 2020-04-20T23:46:49Z

Wow. Wow. I was getting ready to stop playing and then it said my name, and I'm glad I kept playing! This is really great, and so much content for something made in such a short amount of time. It was hilarious too. No complaints, great game.

Strazy Dazy by B. Golda 2020-04-26T05:04:56Z

I was really surprised with how much content this had - nice job adding so many levels! This was honestly a pretty surreal experience. The graphics made me nostalgic for some reason. My only complaint is that you used the arrow keys instead of ASDF or QWER. Nice :)

Savior❤ by ShreyasRao_TS 2020-04-20T23:17:43Z

Very interesting. Simple and easy to understand, and overall a good idea for a game! I don't think there was enough game play, but the game play that you did finish was pretty fun :)

Medically Inaccurate by Emperor Eagle 2020-04-30T02:59:46Z

I scored 14,400! This was a very strong entry. My only feedback would be that the pacing is slightly too slow, which is understandable because pacing is near impossible to get right in such a short amount of time to playtest. It felt like nothing really happened until 4 minutes in, but after the 4 minutes it was really fun! Because difficulty in a game like this really differs person to person, I recommend just adding an option to change the difficulty. The mechanics are perfect, the shooting and movement felt really fun, and I liked that the bullets stuck to the enemy hahaha! Great game :D

Operation Trepidation by Rolodophone 2020-04-22T19:41:01Z

Played on my phone :) The actions that are already done should go away, and I didn't feel like the waiting was necessary, but other than that, this was pretty interesting! Nice :)

Space Exodus by Kaish 2020-05-02T02:44:37Z

This is very interesting. I liked the sound design, which is important for a game like this, and the atmosphere was good too. For some reason, it seemed like I could manually drag on the meters to increase or decrease them, but I'm not sure if maybe that was a visual bug. Overall, great game!

KOGOSEI by Benjouille 2020-04-22T19:22:45Z

This is such a great concept, that I don't think I've ever seen it in a game before. Even though you didn't make everything, it was still put together very nicely and it resulted in a great atmosphere. Well done :)

Virus Simulator by Sli 2020-04-22T23:27:37Z

I actually really enjoyed this! I won with only 5 people dying but it took a couple of tries haha. This game definitely needs sound. Thanks for making this :D

CHARGER! by Symphonia 2020-04-22T19:00:16Z

This was neat! I liked the intro and that the charger location randomized each time. Well done :)

It's About Slime by Silas the Dev 2020-04-22T18:13:42Z

I got 1771! I really enjoyed this game and I thought it was cool that each character has a different play style. I think that making the characters unlockable would be a good idea. I also think that the waves felt very inconsistent, with some spawning an insane amount of enemies whereas others spawned only a few. Personally, I really liked when it was chaotic - and I think increasing the spawn rate while also increase the players power is always a good idea to give the feeling of progression. This was super fun and addictive, good game :)

platformEGG by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2020-04-23T22:22:43Z

I liked the art, sounds, and mechanic, but I didn't think the level design was that great. Like others have said, it was very frustrating! But, I still enjoyed it :)

> keep typing! by Yolziii 2020-04-22T19:17:35Z

This was pretty interesting. Unfortunately, the game crashed after I typed "login root" or "login guest," but after a couple of restarts I made it to the end. Well done!

Sitbot 5000 by James Beninger 2020-04-26T05:23:22Z

Hahaaaaaa this is great! The last level was so hard but also a great use of all the mechanics. I finished the game wishing that there was more content because everything in the game was so fun :D

7 Intelligence by twobitadder 2020-04-22T22:40:03Z

Woah you had a lot of cool mechanics! The whole idea is really unique. This was very fun, and the ending was pretty rewarding :)

Keep "IT" Alive by RoboDoig 2020-04-21T20:46:58Z

I got 38 rounds! I really like this. Great word play and interpretation of the theme :)

Not Clowning Around! by Wilson Taylor 2020-04-20T02:18:05Z

Woah! Very chaotic, but enjoyable. Probably pretty realistic too I'd imagine, haha.

Bloody Musician by Filip Volf 2020-04-22T18:28:53Z

Oh man this was very good! It felt so chaotic haha. I really liked how all the instruments sounded and how you blended a rhythm game with a strategy game. The art was great too, well done :)

Protect the Pup! by Maindric 2020-04-23T21:00:37Z

I love games like this. I don't know why, but there was something just so eerie about it - I felt like there was something more to the game or a dark secret - sort of like Petscop. I think it was the sounds haha! I tried something like this too, so it was cool to see how a different game came out. Great job :)

School is Canceled by Nick Rasmussen 2020-04-21T01:41:19Z

Good graphics and level design! This was a quick fun play through :)

The Sapling Sage by LukeBenkart 2020-04-30T03:31:18Z

This is interesting. It is a tower defense game mixed with an adventure type game, which is very unique. As others have said, the map is way too big. I think there could definitely be more added in the future, but this is a great start :D

Penguin Tower Defense by SomethingWithEd 2020-04-20T23:25:46Z

This was pretty enjoyable! My only two pieces of feedback would be to make the flamethrower feel more impactful. It felt like the fire wasn't really doing anything.. I think that adding a burning animation to the enemies would make a huge difference. Additionally, I think the game may be a bit too slow, but that is an easy fix. Balancing is a difficult thing to do, but I think you did a good job. Additionally, I was delighted to see camera controls, which you typically don't see in a game of this genre. Great game :)

DiscoPuzzle Flooring Inc. by Marxy 37 2020-04-25T19:41:52Z

This is very cool! I think that it needs more polish to be more user friendly, such as keeping the key accessible to the user while they play, but other than that I had a good time. I'll keep an eye on this and see if it goes anywhere :) Also, I got 2.83%

Movin' and Keepin' Alive by G.A.GameStudio 2020-04-25T19:58:04Z

I liked the idea, but I thought the execution of it wasn't great. It didn't really feel good to play as a platformer, mostly because of the jumping. I did like the tutorial though and level select, because it made it feel like a pretty polished game :)

DON`T DIE STAY ALIVE! by PenguinBob 2020-04-23T22:16:16Z

Very simple and clean! I really liked the simplistic style and the game play was great, too. This seems like a great time waster :D

The Given Path by Jvdwijk 2020-04-23T21:41:38Z

I really liked the drag mechanic, but it was very finicky and hard to get working correctly. Also, the ending wasn't too rewarding. I thought the combat was pretty strategic, which I liked! Well done :)

shopalypse by Keravon 2020-04-23T20:25:36Z

I always find card games pretty interesting. I don't think it was intentional that you could look at all the cards before choosing - or that you could press "keep" on two items at the same time, but if these were fixed I could see this game being even better. Very cool though!

Angry Aphid by scifi6546 2020-04-20T02:21:04Z

Very interesting. I'm impressed with how much you were able to portray in such a small amount of pixels. I think that it might be a little bit too easy, but great game nonetheless :)

What a horrible night... by chertkov 2020-04-22T19:54:46Z

I really liked the visuals! It felt super stylistic and it gave the game a vampire feel. I thought it was very frustrating getting stuck on the enemies, though, so I'd suggest allowing the player to walk through them. Their path finding did seem a bit funky at some points too. My biggest complaint would be with the biting. It would be much better if there was some sort of indication when an enemy has a low enough health to bite. Breaking the walls up with the special ability was really fun though, and I overall enjoyed this :)

Dungeon Farmer by TheQiwiBoy 2020-04-21T22:25:20Z

This is awesome! It does need sound and a high score, though, but I really like this idea :)

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-23T22:05:35Z

This was very entertaining in the late game, but there is a lot of waiting in the beginning. Overall, this was pretty fun, and I enjoyed the graphics! I got 16 :)

This is awesome! It feels very satisfying and fair despite the randomness. It seems very polished, too :)

Type or Die by pepperkep 2020-04-22T18:55:08Z

Wow that was tough.. I won't even dare try to beat HARD haha. I kinda liked this though for it's difficulty and simplicity. Great game :)

Patty & the Cannon by hiisileiri 2020-04-26T04:38:38Z

This is pretty cool! I think that it might be too hard though because the bullets shoot too fast, so it is almost impossible to dodge them. Getting coins is also very hard, but this game is still really neat :D

Pass it On by Ryan Jung 2020-04-21T01:50:28Z

This was very fun! I can see a lot of potential in this :)

Journey to the center of the body by Sanjana 2020-04-23T00:03:31Z

I really liked this! It actually felt like an adventure. I recommend adding a way to heal health, and also spawn enemies instead of moving them to the bottom :P But I made it to level 8, good game!

Rock. The Game. by jaschez 2020-04-21T00:02:31Z

Level 6 with 6 nuggets! This is great. Great intro. Great game play. And rock did something. Good interpretation of the theme :)

Task Manager by pele90 2020-04-21T22:20:16Z

This is neat! There were a lot of things to do but not enough pressure to get them done. Other than that, good game :)

Kakyuumari / カキュウマリ by studioNOKOI 2020-05-02T02:37:37Z

This is awesome! I really liked the intro, and the overall sound design of this game was perfect. Great take on the theme, too. Cool game :)

Flicker by sunday_driver 2020-04-25T22:34:45Z

This was awesome - probably one of the best I've played! The mechanic was very creative, level design was impressive, and the atmosphere was cool too. I thought the game had really good pacing and was intuitive. I would recommend making the rain particles and sounds slightly less intense, but other than that this was great :)

The Last Tree by RiceFarmerLenin 2020-04-21T00:49:43Z

This was pretty fun!.. until I ran out of ammo lol. The only thing this game really needs is sound, but other than that great game :)

MacGyval: Use What You've Got, Survive or Not! by CataclysmicKnight 2020-04-23T20:48:15Z

Well this is definitely a thing. I'll be back tomorrow :)

TimeEmergency by Edinaldo 2020-04-20T23:33:11Z

This was cool! I really liked the art, it felt very stylized. My main complaint is the gun. I could not tell when my bullets were doing damage to the enemy, so it made more sense for me to just run past them (which was still pretty hard because I couldn't get too good with the controls). Good game :)

I'm Coming To Get My Liver by phixnay 2020-04-25T19:10:45Z

BUBBLE BOY by NEKORUMA 2020-04-23T22:26:29Z

The graphics and sounds were super good and really made the game feel fun to play. The game play may be a bit too basic though, but I really liked this!

Very nice! I got an 80. I really enjoyed it :)

Outbreak Control by HammerCar 2020-04-21T01:26:16Z

This is awesome! Seeing how the game play changed in the different maps was very neat. I don't think much could be improved except maybe adding sound. This was very fun :)

Can Adequately Generate Charge, C.A.G.E. for short! by Izokia 2020-04-22T23:18:30Z

I really like the idea and the creativity of flipping the phone, but I didn't find the mini games that fun to play. For the amount of time you needed to play them to win the game, they felt more like chores at some points and the ending wasn't rewarding enough for the effort in my opinion. I also found the secret ending, AND IT WAS SO FUN and it's kinda disappointing that the best part of the game was hidden away.. but that was really great :) Overall I thought the whole game was very clever!

The Plant Shop by Conor Galvin 2020-04-22T19:06:00Z

Very relaxing, easy game! It would be cool if I could keep playing until all the plants died and there be a high score table, but other than that this was a quick fun experience :)

Keep Your Rage Alive! by cateye 2020-04-20T02:26:19Z

I got a memory out of bounds error lol. But before that, I was having a blast. My only recommendation would be to introduce the TNT and turrets and barrels way sooner, as most people won't get that far, so it might effect your rating. Good game though, very funny :)

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Slimefall by wilsk 2021-05-04T22:34:05Z

Interesting idea! I do think that there is a lot more than can be done to improve the experience. Specifically, the player controller needs some work (better gravity, coyote jump). Other than that, well done :)

Run Miner Joe by Rolle 2021-05-01T15:08:25Z

Got 6 audio tracks playing at once bahaha! Pretty funny game, though the controls are somewhat stiff and it definitely needs an epilepsy warning.

Cave Jumper by ThatRumme 2021-04-28T19:30:31Z

Well done! However, I felt that the controls were somewhat frustrating. Specifically, I did not like that being off the ground (even slightly) prevented a superjump. This was frustrating because there are many times where I thought I was on the ground, but I was a half second away from landing so the jump didn't execute. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the final level :)

World in Peril by Havok06 2021-04-29T19:48:29Z

I beat it once when the goal was development (seems to be the easiest goal). I really enjoyed playing around with this. My one bit of feedback would be to give science cards more effects. I could find no reason to buy the textless ones. Additionally, the text of the chosen cards should be bigger and easier to read. Other than that, I really enjoyed this concept :)

The Adventurer Guild by DeathStorm 2021-05-04T21:47:30Z

This is very neat, and pretty fun to play! I think the game was somewhat held back by the wait times (which were completely unnecessary in my opinion). I never got the the easy part of the game that you mentioned, but I did begin to have a lot of fun when I managed to send out multiple expeditions - even if it didn't work out in my favor. As such, my experience was incredibly difficult and the insta-kill and perma-death of the characters made the game devastatingly difficult. I understand that the game is designed to create decisions of risk and reward, but oftentimes the risk is so bad that it prevents any progress. Nonetheless, I did thoroughly enjoy my time playing, and may come back in the future to beat it :D

Depth Command by Baconinvader 2021-05-01T16:40:16Z

Great game - a bit slow paced, but pretty fun! I think the concept is great, and additional content such as enemy variation and more cards could only improve it :)

Craft, Code, Burnout by gamescodedogs 2021-05-08T15:43:11Z

This is super neat and impressive! I made it to the copper wire before the complexity of the recipes became too much lol. The burnout was pretty funny, too :)

L.D. Noire: Down the Rabbit Hole by testuser 2021-04-29T20:11:28Z

This is infact deep haha. Unfortunately, I could not go deep enough, but I had fun trying!

Gardner Lake by AdonisDevs 2021-04-27T01:41:40Z

@mausimus Thanks for making me aware of that issue, and I appreciate the feedback! I didn't have enough time to add everything I wanted, but it is nice to hear that the concept is sound :)

Gardner Lake by AdonisDevs 2021-04-29T00:00:27Z

@iaandrei @ayxh @scowling-pastry @mariszin Duly noted - the bubbles are definitely the appendix of this operation. But thank you for taking the time to leave feedback!

Fall Miner by MZA 2021-04-28T19:19:23Z

This is pretty neat - I particularly liked the aesthetic you went for! For me, the controls felt off and were difficult. I think the gravity may have been throwing me off. As others have mentioned, being able to quickly replay the game rather than watch a cutscene would have made the experience better. Nonetheless, very well done :)

Bloogy by Keppu 2021-05-01T15:25:53Z

This is a good idea! However, I think there could have been more to the gameplay, such as new types of blocks and tools. Nonetheless, this is incredibly polished and an interesting experience :)

The Botanist by Tezza48 2021-05-01T15:30:33Z

Very short, but an overall interesting experience. The ending is definitely surprising!

Deep Down 2 by Nyunesu 2021-04-29T19:27:55Z

This is a lot of fun - good level design and interesting ways to use the mechanics! I only wish there was more focus on speed. One way to do this could be to split the gameplay up into shorter levels (to cut down a lot of the time it takes to walk/fall from section to section) to make the game feel more fast paced. Other than that, awesome entry :)

Dig Straight Down! by Reispfannenfresser 2021-05-04T22:28:04Z

An interesting puzzle to be sure. I definitely would not have figured it out without the gifs and video, so a tutorial is definitely a necessary in-game feature. Additionally, because most of the game is played through trial-and-error, an undo (or at least a retry) button would be very useful. I had to refresh the page a couple of times, but at least that's good for your itch.io analytics! Jokes aside, this is a great game :)

To the Center of the Earth by oda 2021-05-08T14:33:09Z

I got to a depth of 115! Very interesting - I especially liked the aesthetic. My one bit of feedback would be to increase the base difficulty, because it takes a while for the game to pose any challenge (~60 depth). In all, very well made :)

Digtet by Sentmoraap 2021-05-01T15:03:07Z

I really like this concept, and it was quite fun to play around with. The one problem with this game is it's difficulty (I got one tetris clear and the game suddenly became expert mode). My highest score was an E- hahaha! Nonetheless, this is a truly unique idea and a good take on the theme :)

MENACING MINER by Divagated 2021-04-28T19:39:49Z

This is a great basis, but it definitely needs more. Overall, I would say this is great given the time - I particularly liked the enemy variation :)

Ole Gonna Goalscore! by scott.redrup 2021-05-01T15:13:56Z

Fun, short game - would have loved to see more content!

LD48 Deeper and deeper by GHubert 2021-05-01T16:19:54Z

I made it to level 47! As I'm reading the comments, I think most people are confused by the language of the instructions and the GUI in general. I, for example, was initially really confused by the gray overlay while shooting, because I assumed that shooting would destroy the gray blocks - maybe have this overlay also display which blocks will be broken. Also, the word "petrify" is somewhat confusing. Instead, you could simply explain that shooting the same color turns surrounding blocks gray and makes them indestructable. Then, make the game over screen explain that they lose because they are surrounded by unbreakable blocks. That being said, I think this idea is very interesting and fun :)

FALL GUY by matthewrobo 2021-05-16T23:43:19Z

I got 3m34 in frog mode! This is pretty neat, but sometimes frustrating - maybe add a jump meter that shows the force so it's easier to time. Nonetheless, well done :)

Zombie Movie Marathon : A Game Remotely about Zombies by Codeman1010 2021-05-04T22:56:28Z

I returned the remote! The idea is hilarious and I would definitely look forward to a fixed version. Though, I'd be lying if said the bugs weren't somewhat amusing - I was dying of laughter after falling out of the map ;)

ONI by Daniel Whittaker 2021-04-28T20:43:44Z

A neat atmosphere, but I could not figure out the password. Any chance I could see a walkthrough? Interesting concept, though :)

Digsite Simulator by PerfectSquare 2021-05-08T15:10:40Z

I found everything with $5828 left over! For the most part, digging was enjoyable, though trying to click the different layers could be tedious at times. I think that some SFX would be nice, too :)

Deep molatoes by leggy 2021-05-04T22:04:43Z

I managed to make it to the bottom after a couple of tries! The game gets significantly easier the less are alive, which may take away a bit of strategy since you can just focus on one to win. To circumvent this, it may be a good idea to release new Molatoes periodically instead of all at once and have the health of each diminish over time (do Molatoes age?). That way, there would be focus on creating a safe, sustainable mine for the future Molatoes to quickly navigate. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the silliness and concept overall :)

Deep Sweep by Dazrow 2021-05-01T15:55:43Z

Interesting puzzle! There is definitely a lot of polish and attention to detail. Well done :)

Tropical Singer by Kevin S 2021-05-17T00:39:37Z

Very interesting experience, and certainly the best sound I have heard during the jam (and procedurally generated? Wow). I do think that the game suffers from extremely slow pacing. I made it to the lung before giving up. A lot of cool features get introduced throughout the levels, so introduce them sooner! I understand that because of how the game is structured, it makes sense for there to be a lot of levels, so, because of this, it may be a good idea to either reduce the length of the levels or put multiple octaves into each level. But again, 48 hours is nothing, and you definitely went above and beyond for this :D

Dig It Out by Threaded Lama Digital 2021-05-08T16:19:14Z

I really liked this. The gameplay is not engaging, but it really doesn't need to be - the repetitive, pointless nature of it kinda connects to the trouble of paying off immense debt. I think that you made the right decision in dedicating time towards the minute details, such as the dialogue, music, and background. Each day, I saw something new or interesting. The last walk, wherein the debt doesn't matter and the dialogue becomes much more personal, was a nice finishing touch. In all, I think there is a lot of substance and ideas portrayed in such a small game :)

One More Lap! by Harrison Dunn 2021-05-17T00:07:46Z

Lol it got me to do 80 laps. Funny stuff, though the camera made me sick.

Miner Rescue by mausimus 2021-04-27T01:56:09Z

I got a score of 3546. I went fairly slowly, but I like that this game has mechanics that allow riskier play and other strategies. The game is also pretty straightforward, but may have benefited from a playable tutorial. Overall, this is very well polished :)

Deeper Fishing by Thoastbot 2021-05-04T22:43:21Z

Certainly an interesting concept - I like the idea of fishing with limited information! Though, I could not really find a use to "go deeper." Overall, well done :)

Deeper Inside LD48 by Ansh Mishra 2021-05-01T16:04:19Z

Very short, but interesting. It may be a good idea to shuffle (or at least re-word) the choices, because it is extremely obvious which choices will lead you to which ending. For example, C is always the positive choice and A is always the negative, so not much thinking is involved. Other than that, I think this is a solid entry and good take on the theme :)

Introspection by Zuwu 2021-05-16T23:52:18Z

This is awesome! I like the way that you manifested each disorder, though I wish there was more variation in strategy between each level. I think the last level is great because the monster has different attacks and changes throughout the battle, so it may be a good idea to give the other enemies more variety. Well done :)

BritaMiner by Junior Lima 2021-04-28T19:47:18Z

This is cool! Despite the grid movement, it feels like the player is given a lot of control, and mining while in mid-air was satisfying. I did end up dying to an impossible situation, wherein every block on the horizontal axis was stone. Other than that, there is a lot of polish and this is an excellent entry :)

Morse Caverns by LSK 2021-05-01T15:47:50Z

I got to the eyes (bats?) and got a score of 7. Definitely not a game for everyone, but I certainly enjoyed it. I'm not sure if I would add a tutorial, because that was part of the fun for me, but it may be nice to indicate the score as the player is playing. That way, they can at least know whether they are on the right track. Nonetheless, very creative and seems to fit the theme :)

Deep Breath by Saltysa 2021-04-28T20:09:08Z

I like the interpretation of the theme, and the it is well executed! However, I did encounter a lot of platforming weirdness (such as sliding off of platforms) that made the game a lot harder and I eventually gave up. Nonetheless, well done :)
