This is so cool :D Something about the water droplets bouncing off of the fire just made me laugh lol. I think this idea is great and I enjoyed playing it :)

i saved the flower !! , good game but sometimes the fire get stuck behind the flower and i cant shoot them
Ahahah, happy to see that we are not the only ones having thought of a plant with the theme :)
Since you are using Unity, you might want to export your game in HTML5 so that it can be played directly on a website such as Itch.io, that makes it more cross-platform ;)
Cool idea! Keep up the good work!
@lery is it allowed to edit the itch.io and upload the zip file for the HTML5?
Hello, fellow sunflower-ist! Nicely done! Easy, simple and fully developed.
Things that you can keep in mind in the future projects: - Background could be slightly less repetitive. You could have placed it on a larger grid
- You could use reference images to animate a growing flower (e.g. sunflower growth stadiums). Usually the buds are from the beginning of flower development.
Good luck in the future projects!
Nicely done
@sami You can add the HTML5 version now, it's not like modifying the game I think. Here's how: https://itch.io/docs/creators/html5
Very well done! I applaud you for making this entry with only two weeks of experience in game dev!
This was fun, you should have seen me bobbing my head to the beat of the music chiptunes were an awesome choice for this game. Love it, hope to see more updates in the future :D
Congrats! It's a fun little game. Given you just learned coding and Unity, it's impressive.
Hey that's a pretty cool little game, I really liked the physics of the water given you just started learning coding I think it's very clever. I did miss the challenge though it was really easy to win the game and the fire could have come more fast and more. Overall I quite enjoyed playing. Congrats!
The music is way too loud. I thought the water physics was done well, although water droplets could have looked better if they were round VS square. The game seemed to be missing sound fx, which would have added a bit more flare, but congrats on finishing your first game. I look forward to seeing your next entries.
Well done for your first game. Congratulations on finishing it. Very nice entry.
Congratulations on your first game! Beyond the fact that it works without any issues (bravo), Very good use of the theme, and the controls feel very smooth. Single interaction with double effects is also clever. Good work!
Good simple game, good job on your first jame, you did a great job. The game was fun but felt too easy for me, this made it a little bit boring after playing a while, as I was not feeling any challenge. Besides of that, congratulations on learning to code, unity and for your first game!
Very impressive for 2 weeks! well done!
The game fits the theme well, for a first time publishing a game like this I feel that this is a great effort. Impressive physics, job well done!
Great game! this is a great entry and it is very impressive. Great work!
i like simple shooting games, so I enjoyed this one! and a very nice work for a first entry!
For someone who just started to make games on Unity its very impressive, congrats! The game is simple, but efficient, its nice to play it.
Sweet idea :)
The game is nice to play, but I would have liked some form of scoring system for those who don't make it to save the flower - alternatively you could make it clearer when the flower is growing so you can feel the tension when you're about to win vs about to lose. Interesting physics and the sounds were not repetitive which is always nice, although I agree the volume could be reduced and sound effects be added.
Always good to see new programmers taking a crack at Ludum Dare. Not a bad first effort and a good take on the theme. Areas I'd improve are: the art (particularly the tiling of the background) and adding some sound effects (I didn't hear any when I played, at least. Good job.
