A nice change on the theme, and one many of us can probably relate to with continually moving to new projects being an issue for game devs! A tutorial of sorts might have been helpful to understand more of the correlation between the different parts of the game.
Really good core mechanic, a really great casual puzzle game. Should definitely be a Post LD release to phones.
Really clean and simple puzzler. A few more levels with a bit of a higher difficulty level would be a welcome addition! Slightly unsure if the SFX/Music are yours as I can't tell as you posted links to where you got some but you've kept yourself open to judgement on Audio? Let me know so I can adjust rating accordingly.
Feel like the perspective was a bit off in order to determine how high you were in comparison to the clothes lines etc, also as noted previously you can glide on the floor and won't hit anything. Good game overall though! I like the graphics and the flying obstacles.
Awesome idea, good fun but had a couple of game ending bugs.
Got a bit of a shock at the speed of the game when I first got in, but very quickly got used too it and kept moving/dodging. Played on the web build and had some lag like others have mentioned especially when getting to doorways as it loaded the new room, doors were also too small to easily run through without getting stuck. All in all a fun shooter with a futuristic vibe but also made me think of Death Stranding imagery.
Really enjoyed this, managed to get a score of 14,000. Is that good? :D I did notice at the end there was a very long wait between all my ducklings being kidnapped and the game over screen being loaded. All in all a very fun game and a nice take on the theme.
Took a while to get the hang of it, knowing how to fight rats would have been very helpful from the start. Very interesting take on the theme though :D
Interesting take on a Le Transperceneige/Snowpiercer type of world. I personally found the puzzles slightly too hard, but I am running on a slight lack of sleep given the LD just ended! Really impressed and liked the graphic style and audio SFX too. Will play again once I have a bit more sleep in me! :D
@Darylsteak There is also an english language version of the comic by Titan Comics, if you don't speak French! There's also one prequel and another coming in August.
Amazing graphic style, as mentioned above shortcuts really are a must later in the game. Really solid take on a tower defense game.
Love the imagery and mechanic of switching between love/hate.
@lery is it allowed to edit the itch.io and upload the zip file for the HTML5?
Graphics are highly impressive for a game jam but the method of showing info and the HUD really disrupted the effects of the nice graphics. Would love to see a post LD version where you work on the HUD and some polish.
Nice relaxing game. Something about the jumping felt slightly off. Also would have made it a bit tougher if you couldn't just jump through platforms. Having the clouds in view at all times would also add a dimension to be able to help you identify where the raindrops were going to come from perhaps?
Loved the game though! Music was great and as mentioned by someone else above a very much storybook style of graphics which was well suited to the game.
Ships are a bit slow as mentioned previously, Enjoyed the battles. Found the voiceovers amazingly hilarious!
Getting a 404 error.
Interesting take on the theme and a nice story line. A couple more SFX or animations would have been nice to spice it up a little bit. Really enjoyed it though and managed to get to the frozen mammoth! I did notice at one point I seemed to have 1 fuel left yet at the start of the day 10 fuel was taken but i was still able to play, might be a bug.
Really wanted to give this a go, any chance you can release it for an alternative platform?
Nice simple game, with a clear concept. Good fun but could do with some more animations.
Good concept, just needs a bit more polish I think. Camera flipping is quite honestly vomit-inducing! Had an issue with the tutorial where I needed to use arrow keys and WASD but it wouldnt let me move on despite having used all keys numerous times.
Tough game to figure out if I'm honest, fed the flame with twigs but didnt seem to make any difference! Would give it another go if some tips can be provided?
Fantastic take on a game I used to play endlessly as a child whilst running around the house causing chaos. Voiceovers are amazing and really make the game! I never managed to get it to hit the fan, but does it destroy the balloon if you do?
@1punnyguy44 Can you look at my game? I replied to your request on gamedevtv discord.
Enjoyed the game. Would have liked better sound effects on the weapons but I did laugh at his voice when talking. Quite a cool concept of trying to protect something that values ketchup more than it's own life!
Nice clean graphics. Felt that the turtle was too slow, but I guess that's the reality! Also everyone likes turtles...
Nice simple game fitting the theme. Some additional complexity in the form of additional dangers would improve it but overall solid game.
Really enjoyed the game! Shame I didn't have someone to play it with as I feel like that would open up a lot more options for strategy! Well done!
Enjoyed the game, was slightly disappointed to lose all my progress when I clicked 'Premium' maybe have it open your paypal link in a different tab :D
Loved the music, but didnt really understand how to play it.
Fantastic game, love a good puzzler! Got to level 10 and ended up getting a cop killed! Best game I've played so far.
