Reminds me of like casual mobile games lmao Very well done mate, it's pretty fun

Reminds me of like casual mobile games lmao Very well done mate, it's pretty fun
Wonderfully innovative gameplay here, really liked the additional puzzle elements that get added in the levels. Lovely music and graphics as well, the polish is incredible for a compo entry
This was super innovative! Really enjoyed it. Great job! Would love to see this fleshed out even further and maybe ported to mobile. I can definitely see myself playing this on my commute (well, once I have a commute again...)
What a cute little puzzle game you have here.
The graphics are absoulutely adorable.
The gameplay is smooth and innovative.
Awesome job.
Great concept and perfect length for it. Really liked it!
An amazing jam entry! The concept just blows me away and the whole style goes along with it. There is nothing more I can say other than well done!
Things I didn't like: * Sometimes I forgot that the character bounces back at the end of the screen. I was sure that it would fall off and die haha. Maybe if it had a stronger indication of that mechanic it would be more clear. * The fact that the character paused when I was holding a piece made me play the whole game holding a piece hehehe. I don't know if this behavior was intended or not, but if it had a pause/play button it would lessen the hassle of holding the mouse button for long periods of time. * I found a bug: I was typing my thoughts on my cellphone while the character was bouncing over and over and it eventually fell off the screen and the game crashed. (maybe something to do with rounding errors?) feedback1.png
Things I Liked: * The art is simple but very cute and polished. Everything has an animation, nice work! * The music is pleasing, fits the game very well and the loop isn't tiring. * Nice level design! It reached that point in puzzle games where I felt good and smart when I finished a level haha, this must be very hard to design. * The concept is very interesting, I can't remember other games with a similar concept.
Your game inspired me! It has a small scope, with just a few mechanics, which probably let you focus on polishment, good level design and to make a complete experience. This is the way that I want to go on Compos. This is my first time doing Compo and my scope was too big. Next time I will remember your game!
Incredibly cute, can't wait to come back to this after my Jam!
it's so nice
Really well presented - art, audio, general attention to detail. A clever and fun concept also. Maybe not starting the level automatically and giving the player a little time to scope it out first could be beneficial. Loved it nonetheless.
Awesome work!
Wow, fantastic game! Creative and well-polished. I love the character animation. Perfect controls/interface and sound. There was no music when I played it - should there have been? Also, the game locked up when I switched away for a minute to Discord and then returned (I'm using Win 10/Firefox). Not that it would affect my review, just thought you should know in case you develop the game further.
**Edit:** In the developer console, there was an error about music autoplay being disabled, so I enabled it for the site. However, it still doesn't play. I get the following warnings:
_Feature Policy: Skipping unsupported feature name "autoplay"._
_Feature Policy: Skipping unsupported feature name "midi"._
Good graphics and mechanics, well done !
Wow, very polished, very innovative, nice and cute artwork and really original gameplay. And with beautiful transitions too. Gameplay is easy to understand but hard to master, which is good. Awsome!! (for some reason I had only sound effects, no music)
Beat it!
Pretty neat thinky puzzler :)
I wonder what sort of puzzles would be possible if, say, the clicked buttons would become unclicked once you walk over them. Also shame to see that there weren't any situations wherein I had to figure out WHEN I had to get a key instead of it being the first thing I always got.
Other than that, I enjoyed the game! Good work!
Awsome game, the part when he streches out and grabs the next frame is so good.
Really original puzzle game! That little red lemming is loving falling down those holes.
Cool concept, great execution! Art and music aren't bad either :) I think this has a lot of potential should you choose to extend it post-jam.
Most innovative mechanic of the jam! plus a great level of execution & polish.
Best game I've played so far. Most innovative game I've played in a while, and I'm sure if this became a full mobile app release it would do very well. Good job!
Wow. The mechanics are unique, and extremely well-executed. Fits the theme well, graphics are pretty cute, music is very catchy. This was definitely one of the more memorable submissions so far, and I agree with others calling for a full mobile release! Great stuff
Incredibly fun and very well done. Got stuck on level 6, but will give it another try!
Very nice game, its very cool for 48h
Love the concept and graphics, my only complain is the game starts immediately not giving you enough time to prepare.
Such a marvelous idea and level design! An amazing job!
This game looks like a real game you would find and buy. Great Work!
Completed it, very clever design! Graphics + animation style is very cool.
Awesome idea. The levels are both fun and challenging. Perhaps a pause button would be a good addition (maybe there was a key I missed, not sure) - Specifically on level 6, it would be nice to be able to pause for a moment to have a look at the puzzle, as the character dying every few seconds on that level before you've done anything is a bit distracting with the retry transition splash. Also love the art, it's very solid. :D
Undoubtedly going to be one of my favorite entries.
This mechanic is really great and the level design is on point! Great job, man.
Are you planing on extending this game? The puzzles were very clever.
Enjoyed every bit of it, great art, sound, fun gameplay, never seen it before, great job!
Superfun! So cool you used the key symbol in a new way, that isn't just opening doors.
The game looks and feels really nice! Reminds me of classic flash games for some reason :) Great work!
Very very cool! I had a really good time going through all the levels :) Graphics are adorable, the music is nice, and the level design offers a good learning curve.
You can beat level 8 without the key, not sure if intentional.
Amazing! Reminds me of Nitrome flash games, very nice! Cool concept, perfect execution, not much to add
Really great game, the levels introduce the new concepts well and it is so polished. Nice job!
Smol and smart love it
Thank god it pauses when you are dragging or it would be so stressful.
Nice little game. Best polish I've seen yet!
Great entry, the connection to the theme was a little lacking but it was certainly a fun game! Could make for a fun mobile time waster.
i love your game
This is a really good submission! This could easily be developed into a full app! The puzzles also felt well made!
Amazing game! Great concept & level design. Not too hard, not too easy, perfectly balanced. Graphics, music, sfx are great, too. And a lot of polish was put in here (scene transitions...). So congrats you did an awesome job! :D
Only complain is that I wanted more!! Its so nice! With more levels this could actually be a cool mobile game.
This game is very original and fun to play!! Tight controls, matching sound effects, great art style, level design!!! Simply amazing! 5 stars all the way!!
cool idea and nice graphics. Just wished there were music
This is awesome, great work! Having trouble playing without a mouse right now (on a trackpad, ha) but will plan to come back to this and finish later. Gave this a perfect score and would love this to become a little mobile game.
Pleasant game, a very unique puzzler! There was a good mix of puzzles, some that required more timing or getting the character into a safe spot to plan for next steps. Didn't encounter any bugs, I loved the small animations between tiles! Nice UI animations too!
Good game mechanics. Easy to understand and can build up into very difficult puzzles. I would like to hear some background music, it may be anything that could be added to this, everything else, graphics, UI, controls, everything is perfect.
Ok, that was absurdly fun. My favorite game so far. The mechanic was so incredibly unique and it perfectly mixed both timing with puzzles. Art was awesome too! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the music — everything besides that was perfect.
Fun concept, but I wish there were more levels. Add a few levels + mechanics and this is a pretty good mobile game. Good job.
amazing job, great idea executed really nicely and really nice artwork. Only criticism was on some levels when he walks straight into spikes, with the death noise and reset gets a little bit annoying when i just want to be paused and look at the parts to work out the solution. but thats really minor. excellent work kept me interested to the end and I am not even really a fan of puzzle games generally. Weirdly the music didn't work when i played on firefox so i thought there was none, but i see there was, tried and worked ok in chrome so who knows... music was ok but the weakest part.
Very nice concept, and has a good feel to it. Great art as well!
awesome game, one of my favorites so far, good job! Annotation 2020-04-20 200751.png
The gameplay is really fun and calming... It feels very cute and happy. It was just the right level of difficulty sometimes I would find myself stuck at some point but if you take a step back and take a look it becomes clear really well done mate.
this game is so cute, I love it and I would DEFINETLY play mor, if there was a full version on steam i would buy it, and if you do please contact me. as for the feedbacks, I didnt understood what the golden lock meant, so I stopped there. the tutorial progression was amazing, just the golden lock wasnt very intuitive but i loved it anyway
absolutely lovely, this has been my faveorite so far though I shouldn't say. great job, it's different, accessable and just simple and fun!
great graphics and sound, fun concept. wish there was maybe a bit better an indicator which way the tiles would slide, but I guess that is part of the puzzle?
Very original - got to level 8 ;)
I would suggest maybe option to click a tile then everything stops then click again where you want to place it.. Wouldn't take away anything from the puzzle aspect but would make the timing easier for people on laptops with touchpads.. :)
Such an awesome game. +1 to all the others who have said you could take this idea into a full game
Intuitive, clean, fun. I played the whole thing without even thinking about it. Sound was on point.
What a great game
Oh my god! It's a wonderful game! All is perfect! Graphics, sound , gameplay.... it's a complete and comercial game. Congratulations!
This is great. Super fun and polished. Have saved to my Itch collection to play more at a later date.
This is too much for my Brain at 5 am :D
sO MUCH FUN
Amazing concept! Never played a game like this before, so I love the uniqueness in it. The simplicity of the graphics works extremely well with it, and feels really polished. Not much I can say about what to improve!
Cute game, great graphics, great sound. Was it intended as a demake of magic moving mansion mania? I know that lots of games riff off each other and that's how new genres are formed but maybe credit them in the description? They were a small student team so I'm sure they could use all the help they could get :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jye0yxTfCkA
Really well done! Made very cleanly, nice art, sound, and brilliant mechanics. Just a few concepts and you were able to make a lot of unique, creative levels. I thought I had seen everything the game had to offer, and then you introduced a button like two levels before the end. And I was really impressed, you have a clear sense of understanding in progression. I'm not a phone gamer, but I swear this would make you millions on the app store.
Surprisingly not the only game I've seen in this jam that uses the mechanic of 'movable level segments'. It's a cool idea. You've implemented it in one of the best incarnations I've seen. Game is very polished and fun to play. Great entry!
Very polished game! Like the art a lot in it. I also like the different ways you could manipulate the character and the animations he would do(such as him pulling himself towards another fragment.) Amazing game
This game Oozes polish, features an innovative mechanic, has plenty of content, wonderful art, nice sound effects, and was a compo game (as opposed to a jam game). How did you do it? This is insane
Cool game! I really wish there was a way to speed up time or something. Its a bit annoying once you solve the puzzle that you have to wait for him to walk around. Like some others have said, I have seen this level segment move mechanic multiple times before even in previous LD's. It seems more like a get the fruit to win the level than a Keep it alive sort of game. Overall seems simple and polished. What did you use to make the game? it looks like construct or stencyl?
This is really good! It would help if when you cant place a tile in an empty space there is something there to show it's locked. The level of polish is amazing though nice work!
Everything about this game is incredible. Nice job, really enjoyed the mechanic, the idea, the music, the art. As I said, everything is amazing!!!
Phenomenal polish. Nail polish. Polish kielbasa. Feels like Framed with a Nitrome pixel-art aesthetic, both of which I adore.
Really good, innovative concept and the music, art and general style all fit well together
This game is so cool! the only thing this game need before it could be published is just some sold level design, i literally dont think this game needs anymore than it has
wow, you seem to have created a truly epic game mechanic. With just a little more work I could see this turning into a full release.
Really clever idea and well polished. I'd like to see some really difficult levels.
An original puzzle game! The art, music, mechanics, puzzles, polish are all on point. Good job! The only thing I'd add is the option to pause the game to examine the puzzle, rather than having to click and hold a tile.
Amazing game! The idea is very clever, music is cool although after some time it tends to get boring. Visuals are absolutely perfect - simple and clean, so there is no thinking "what is that object". At least for me the difficulty was going in the right direction. Congrats!
So satisfying to play! Great mechanic, great art, terrific scope. Really great job!
Great gameplay, quality and an innovative idea through simplicity. Very well executed!
Good game. Nice arts. But I'd like to see more difficult level.
A little slow for my taste, and a lot of the puzzles seem the same. But the presentation is pretty much spot on, nice job!
I definetely had a great time playing this game. I wish a full and bigger version of it asap! Great concept and awesome gameplay! The kind of puzzle that I'm pretty satisfied with! Congratulations!
I think this game doesn't really have a good connection to the theme. Yes, you keep the guy alive, but it's to the same extent as countless other games. The real highlight is of course the rearrangement mechanic, and that doesn't hit the theme for me.
Spectacular game! Well made in just 72 hours. It calmly leads you in and shows you the concepts without the need for a boring tutorial. Everything is interesting and puzzling. Amazing graphics and a polished feel!
Wow. So, I don't think this game had the strongest connection to the theme, and the music got a little old after a while... Other than that this game is just about perfect! If you don't add more content to this and do a full release, you are doing the world a disfavor. I also want to point out that the game was very intuitive. There wasn't really a text tutorial, but I was able to figure everything out.
I really enjoyed playing the game, it was super interesting and there were some cool animations thrown in all over. Congratulations on a great effort.
What a fun and unique puzzle game! I really enjoyed myself! I hope this turns into a full game!
Really cool mechanic, well done in just 48 hrs!
Really interesting mechanic! Loved the idea, would love it if there was a level selector and its really amazing you did this in 48 Hours! Cheers
Amazing! I'ts the best game I've played so far, and it's really innovative! keep it up...
made me actually think late at nite good job!
Very well done! good job. Reminded me of one of the platformer (top 3 i think) from LD45 that involve moving the world. Good luck !
Very well polished, smooth animations, and satisfying sound design! Just the right length.
I'd be interested to know if you were in any way inspired by Magic Moving Mansion Mania - the designs seem to have taken similar paths. In any case, very fun to play, thoroughly enjoyed.
Super great. However sometimes is not clear if is possible to drag diagonally or through other tiles (Key level). The game requires concentration great puzzle game combined with speed. Well done.
Idea and implementation are brilliant! This should really be expanded for many more levels
Very nice puzzle game, super polished and cool idea. I don't know what more to say, good job!
Damn, this game is super cool! I like everything here: visual, audio, game and level design. It's completely perfect, this game definitely would hit the top. I want full game now!
Nice game for mobile. I like it.
Very good fun and compete entry would be suprised if this doesn't end up near the top
The puzzles and mechanics are great. Though, there is a bit of a difficulty spike at level 7. I also wasn't a fan of the music (luckily there was a toggle button), but without the music there is no sound.
Looks great and plays great! I really like the simple puzzle idea that you found a lot of different uses for. If I were to nitpick, maybe just "don't die" is a bit lazy use of the theme :)
Great little game. I love games like this. Graphics are good, too. Well done
Interesting puzzle gameplay and pleasant graphics. in my opinion a cool little game!
Really clever. It's not often that real time and puzzle go together this well. Super polished animations and gameplay overall. Hard to find a fault with it to be honest.
Nice concept. Cute character and art!
Very charming, polished and fun!
Really amazing game! Congratulations my friend! It was really intuitive to know what you've to do. You learn quickly as you fail. Making a death, something that could be boring, a need to progress. Very interesting here! Congrats :-)
Such a good game! :scream_cat: The art is good with a good amount of polish, the concept is fun and well executed. Great job!
A unique concept with lovely visuals. Sound effects were nice, but there was sadly no music. The intuitive gameplay was also a plus, but the levels were a bit simple for my liking. Overall, great job!
Great fun and challanging game!
I love this game. Its really interesting, Ive never tried something like this before. Really easy to learn how to play it and really fun!
Graphics, mechanics, audio. Everything is great and well polished in this game! Excellent entry!
Super innovative and fun! Music is very catchy, and cute animations too :)
Solid game. Interesting mechanics. Might want to create a clone of this!
Great polish! It's a solid game with a very comfortable learning curve
Great mechanic, great polish. Overall a really awesome game!
Extremely well done! Loved the graphics, music, sound effects. Amazing how you pulled this off.
Increadible job! The game is fun, graphics look great and music sound nice too! Feels so polished I almost can't belive you made it in 2 days! Only bug I've come across is that the mute button didn't work for me ;D
Absolutely love it! Reminds me of a game I saw on the r/Unity3D subreddit. Really nice visuals, the puzzle design was spot on, all in all a really great game!!
So good. Very funny. So good graphic style and sound, music.
I love it!
Awesome!!
This is such a polished puzzle game, everything the game feel is on point with, the music, sound effects, graphics and the cute laid back feeling and style of the game. The mechanic of moving the room that the player is in, is not something that is usual front and centre but it is executed so well here. This is really awesome!
Great mechanic, really nice difficulty curve and very well executed overall.
So much fun and very nice implementation of the mechanic!
wow thats so cool and original idea. maybe a post jam version with good music.
Very nice - I haven't seen a game like this since Where Is My Heart, so top points in Innovation! And such a high level of polish in a compo game is always great to see.
Apart from being a bit shortish it doesn't feel like a game made in 48 hours at all. My only two gripes are that the music gets repetitive rather quickly, and that I would've appreciated some time to think before each level starts.
But that doesn't take away much from the enjoyable experience. Well done!
It's a masterpiece. How it works, the level design, the cute graphics, that nice music and sound... It's incredible, Congratulations
Wow this game is incredible, it's an amazing concept, so fun to play, looks great and it's so polished! Definitely my favourite game of Ludum Dare so far.
The puzzle mechanism is quite creative! Reminds me of another game called Gorogoa
Nice game with interesting level design. Really solid and polished for a compo game.
pretty neat game :D The puzzle mechanic is nice. Really solid. Not so big on the music tho
Fun one ;)
Brilliant concept, and well executed. I felt like some of the middle levels were harder than some of the later ones, but that may just have been due to getting to grips with the mechanics. I really enjoyed this, what a gem!
Awesome concept, it's so fun to play. Level are awesome, not only to play, but that's the kinda levels I'd have fun designing
Good job!! Nice!
Very nice and well polished game, I loved it. The aesthetic reminded me of Nitrome games too.
Had so much fun playing this!
Incredible work
This game was pretty enjoyable, the main mechanic was simple but able to be used in interesting ways. You could definitely expand this idea for a full release— nice and polished, good job.
Wow, this is awesome - kind of the perfect LD game. It's quick, simple, but makes you want to keep playing. You nailed the core mechanic and it works really well. Some of the puzzles got pretty difficult, especially after level 6. I loved it, really well done!. The audio and graphics really bring it together too.
Nice job on all aspects of the game. Innovation, art, sound, gameplay, fun factor. And well done making for a quick restart after player death.
Amazing game. Clever puzzles. During my first try on Isolated level, the second bottom card didn't spawn for me. So I was thinking for a really long time why I am so stupid a can't pass the level. Fortunately the game crashed due to the bug that was already mentioned here (character walked out of the window). I was kinda sad because I really enjoyed the gameplay, so I decided to give it another shot and the level was okay during the second one, so I managed to finished the game. Great one!
I don't know what to say. It's a perfect puzzle game. It was the fastest tutorial I'we ever seen. Like I played the game before haha. 10/10
Really good core mechanic, a really great casual puzzle game. Should definitely be a Post LD release to phones.
clever level design
Amazing, simple and fun game. The mechanics are extremely engaging and brilliant. Love it
Excellent, very polished game. Clever levels, nice graphics. I've found a bug when replaying, the apple appears on the empty square.
Really nice and fresh idea.
end.jpg
Brilliant mechanic! Brilliant riddles!
Top!
Excelent Game!!! All was great!! The level design, the graphics, the mood, the music... (Although i wished there was more than 1 track, but whatever) All of it!!! It's (almost) a perfect game!!!
Really funny idea and mechanic! Could use some better sound design. Hook me up and we can fix that.
Good game! Impressed on how polished it is compared to the number of mechanics and levels in the game. Negative point is that the 8bit music of this game will definitely be stuck in my head for the next 2 to 5 days :D
i love puzzle game and this one is really cool the mecanic and the style is on point, good job!
Music, Theme, Art, Gameplay, Innovation, Mood and Overall 5 :star2: Game.
Amazing, I the level design is amazig, as well as the mechanic and style! Really great job, I wouldn't change a thing.
What a great game! Worked perfectly for me (5/5)
Really nice game with cool simple puzzles. Reminds me of some mobile games. Very polished.I'm impressed how you completed that in Compo! Congrats!
Wonderful little game! Even cooler once I realised it's a compo game, well done! Could really see this work well on a mobile or tablet screen.
Really fun and creative!
Amazing, by far the best game I have seen thus far. Great smooth graphics and well fit music for the experience.
i could play this all day :)
HOLY CARP! This is Compo!? I'm impressed! You nailed the level design, the graphics fit perfectly, and you made a fantastic game in only 48 hours! Dang! I'm thoroughly impressed.
Good clean graphics. Needs more sounds and music. Pace is a bit slow. Innovative mechanics. Theme's a miss.
Overall very good!
i got a crash when it loaded level 7. fghjk.PNG beside that great game and good music.
A simple and delicious game! The art is very well done and the mechanics are very smooth. The soundtrack is nostalgic and reminds me of the songs from the simplest NES games.
Congratulations for the game!
That was verry fun ! But, a background music won't be too much.
Clever, cute and amazingly well designed! Love everything of this, maybe the only thing that after a while became stressful is the downtime of the character walking but it's really not a big deal.
Very clever! Well done
Very smart gameplay!! Love this game! Makes you scratch your head from time to time! GG!
I love this game so much
Great game, I loved the animations for when he went between frames. The music wasn't too distracting and fit well with the game. If I had to make a suggestion, and really this isn't something that's NECESSARY just something that could be, but maybe add a pause button for when you have to make quick adjustments. For me it was fine, but I know some people can't make rapid decisions which could lead to frustration. Overall though, 10/10 game. :)
This is one of my favorite games so far! The gameplay is simple but very clever, and each puzzle was well done! The graphics are amazing too!
Super cool and fun game! This is definitely the best one I've played so far
The game was super fun to play and I found it highly innovative as well. Good job!
Nice little game really enjoyable !
Nice game, very clever. The progression is great, I could see it published on mobile !
This is absolutely insane coming from just one person in Compo too! This would make for a really fun and successful mobile puzzle game I'm sure! This is the most polished game I've played so far!
I can see why this is one of the popular games. The concept is clear and concise as well as the execution. You definitely get that satisfying AHAH moments in some of the levels which is the best feeling for a puzzle style game. I can understand why you only did 10 levels, but wow I wanted to play more.
Pros: - Nice graphics - Innovative gameplay. Don't think I ever seen any game use something similar - Moving blocks with spikes out of the way just screams "Keep it alive" - Pretty short, which is perfect for the jam where you want to play many games
Cons: This clearly is competitor for top spots, so I can be critical on the theme.. While keeping character out of spikes and holes is "keep it alive" mechanic, it does not feel like the main focus of the game. For example lots of survival games fit the theme better.
Overall this seems to be best game I've played in LDJam46 so far. Enough said.
This is by far the best game i have played. Wow, such an amazing idea. This deserves five stars for everything(thats the rating i gave you btw). Would love to see this after as a post-ludum dare game, the idea is incredible. Great work!
Great concept and cute implementation. One of my favorite entries so far :)
Qué puedo decir que no se haya dicho ya? ^^
Wow what an amazing game! Great idea !
Feeling smart when finishing a level. That's good level design. well done!
Really great idea for a puzzle game, can't believe it's not done yet. I would totally play the full version, specially if it was for android.
Simple but great art and music, even if the music ends up being too repetitive. Sadly it doesn't fit the theme at all, but other than that it's one of the best games I have played in this jam.
super polished and very good puzzles, played it with my girlfriend who was into it as much as me trying to figure it out!
Quite original and very enjoyable!
Looking forward to see more sub-mechanics to increase variety and challenge!
Legit dont know where to get started. This is one of those games i would pay for and a game like his made in 72 hours is just a mystery. I loved the level design and graphics. The only issue i found with it which is my personal opinion is that the music gets really annoying after a bit. The game should have sort of a fast paced music. Other than that everything is amazing. Keep up the good work !
Drag&Drop is a really good idea to keep it alive! Well done!
Nice game! It looks really well made and the art and music are good. Gameplay is really fun and challenging, I would like to play more!! The concept is also really cool. Keep up the good work!
Awesome concept and execution. Nicely done! 5 out of 5 starts in every category for me!
Enjoy every last bit of it. Good game!
I love the gameplay, level design, music! Had fun playing it! Amazing game entry!
Really solid, felt super polished and the puzzles got me thinking. Would play again - The audio and art combined together to create a great product.
Great game, with exceptionally clever mechanics and great puzzle design. Awesome work !
Great amount of polish for compo game. Love the concept and the innovative puzzles, thumbs up!
Oh god, this was an amazing game for compo and would be an amazing game even in jam. Nice job!
This is very clever ! I managed to go to the end but some levels were challenging enough to make me scratch my head! I would have liked a pause button to let me think of a solution without dying again and again before I got it! But the game is excellent any way! Great work!
I loved it.
i don't think, i've ever played a game likt that before
Wow, very nice game. Super polished and fun. You should definitely consider upgrading this to a fully fledged game.
holy crap. I don't even know what to say.. 10/10 game.
The animations and music made this a very enjoyable game!
Got through all the levels to the tree! I liked the game idea, but the puzzles were just a little bit same-y for me. I think puzzle design is insanely hard, and you did a good job for a time limit, but I would have liked to see more levels with a bit of a bait-and-switch solution so you really had to think it through. The graphics were great and the music got the job done.
Nice cute game. The puzzles were fun and the art was good. I don't know if the HTML5 version is supposed to be playing BGM, but I didn't hear anything other than SFX.
As others have said, I don't know if it was intended, but I often picked up a piece to pause the game, figure out how to solve it, and then execute.
I love this!
very innovative!
Really enjoyed the concept and puzzle solving mechanics!
Not much I can say that hasn't already been said but great game with well thought out design, music was simple but catchy and really fit the overall feel of the game well. I hope you keep developing and port to mobile as i feel dragging the tiles with your finger would have a great feel about it. Keep up the great work :)
Aboslutely amazing game with great everything, wish there were more levels. so original.
Saw your game on Twitter and it's very interesting. I love pixel art (I made pixel art games too). Though I've seen this type of game in Flash games, I like the little touch like the character holding the next frame and pulling himself to get there. I know making level designs for this is such a hard task. Good job on it!
I really liked the game. Sometimes you have to think hard, and that's cool. The visual style is simple, but fun. Good job
Very beautifull! The idea it's simple but it works very well. I'like this type of games. Also the art is great.
Awesome game, would definitely see me playing a full version.
Very cool puzzle game. There's quite some thought put into each level and the innovations on playing with the rules of the game are great. Even with the relaxed pace of the game, the creators were still able to spur on the player's worry of dying. Everyone could easily get on with this game. With more levels and a mobile port, it could become a hit. Thanks for the game!
Good idear ! I found the game is very nice and complete. I take a real pleasure to play with :)
Excellent game! Smart, cute, balanced, a real pleasure tu play it :) The only missing thing really is the music :P
Easiest 5 rating I've given to every category - this is a complete game through and through! The main mechanic is really smart and innovative, the pacing and puzzle design are amazing, the music will be stuck in my head for days, the art is amazing and the whole thing is ridiculously polished! Fantastic job!!!
The mechanics of this game are really well thought out and the art and music are genuinely great. The gameplay feels like a game that took weeks to make let alone 48 hours. brilliant job.
Top marks. Wish there was something to feedback but can't think of anything! Genuinely enjoyed playing this
Really cool game design ! It's working really well and the overall is gorgeaous. keep going !
Solid game! It's amazing what can be made with Gamemaker :)
The moment when you're frantically trying to rearrange panels around before the little guy walks off the screen - XD
I was going to suggest having a way to pause the game so you can rearrange panels - but then I realized part of the fun was scrambling to drag those panels in place while the character is walking around. Also wanted to suggest having different background aspects to create some variation in the visuals as you progress (ie. the tree at the end was a very nice touch) - but it's understandable that there was only a short time limit for creating the game, without having to worry about additional visuals on top of that. Overall, the game was easy to understand, the puzzles were fun to figure out, graphics were simple and pleasing - basically, a job well down in a short amount of time. :)
Favourite game of the Jam so far. Brilliant ! Innovative concept. The puzzles are awesome.
Great job making the most out of the assets as well. Definitely a thing or two to pickup here.
Amazing job looks and feels like a polished game. 🔥
Awesome and captivating game. Reminds me in some way to Baba is You, which is a big compliment ! Two possible improvement : 1/ I really needed five minutes to understand how to switch tiles, since I wanted to put them between each other and not on one another, maybe a shown example at the beginning could have helped 2/ the music could have been more subtle. Once again, the example of Baba is You is excellent in terms of usage of minimalist music to help you concentrate on the puzzles. But my overall feeling is : OUTSTANDING !
Awesome game man, it's my favorite game so far too, love the amount of depth you achieved with so little complexity, very elegant.
Extremely addictive and fun. Audio, graphics, and puzzle Extremely fun. Great job!
Loved the concept and the mechanics!
I don't know what to say, Well Done!
Wow nice entry. Very innovativ and intuitive gameplay. keep on making good games :)
Wow, I already catch the glimpse of a casual mobile hit. Very polished game! Original mechanics and good overall design.
Really well made and polished game in 48 hours, unbelievable in the time! Hope to see this developed on and we have more puzzles to solve!! Amazing job!!
I won't point out the obvious, so here's what I didn't like: * There was no option to pause the game * There was no option to fast-forward * No level select screens or anything like that * I thought the game-over animation was a bit bland, maybe you could've made the guy explode or something?
Love this game! Really innovative concept for a puzzle game, I could see thing being a really fun mobile game if it were expanded. Great work!
Amazing game! got some Nitrome vibes
I love the concept! I thought of doing something like this myself! Feels very smooth and the coding must have been a pain. Nice job!
This is super awesome. I don't think I've ever seen a game like this, really original. Loved the art, gameplay, music and the level design. I need this game on my phone !!!
Holy shit it's good.....
Wow this is amazing!
This is, by far, the best game I've seen this jam! This being a COMPO game makes it that much more impressive. This game is oozing with polish and I can't find anything to criticize!
Fantastic concept and nice implementation!
this game must be in first 10.
What an awesome game, it is pro level! Congratulations for the entry! 10/10
Amazing entry! Super clean, clever concept and great animation and details. Good job.
Great game! Super nice polish (graphics, audio, mechanics), but what's more important fantastic concept, very innovative and fun to play. Congratulations!
Fun game with cute graphics and audio! It also has impressive polish for a compo.
once again tellin you how awesome this game is, just played again lol
Before I played it I was like: Now way this deserves this many points, but when I played it I was like: :O
One of my favorites so far! Great concept very well executed. You explored the mechanics very well and it didn't overstay its welcome. Excellent job!
Holy moly, I can't believe how fun of a game could be with such simple game mechanics. The gameplay is innovated yet simple, and has huge potential. Although the game only has a few puzzle blocks, with different placement and by locking one of them, you created a variety of levels that's both fun to play and challenging. I think what could be more challenging is when there are two characters on the same puzzle and the player have to keep both (or more than two) alive!
Really innovative game! It reminds me of that other game I played last Ludum Dare when it came to moving levels around.
Really good game that has a cute artstyle and is fun to play!
Perfectly executed little game. No introduction needed. Polished graphics. Cool audio and various mechanics. Great entry.
Really Incredible - amazing to see what people can manage in such a short space of time. Great Job1
Brilliant game, definitely my favourite entry I've played so far this jam. Liked the way the character moved from box to box, thought it was nicely done and really helped connect them. The way the levels ran on to each other helped in keeping me playing which was a nice touch. The progression to locks was also clever.
Looks and plays great! Would love to see and play more!
Amazing game, super puzzles, I want to see more of that! I can't imagine how you managed to put so many clever ideas into a game in such a short time.
Really good game. I see a future commercial mobile game. Nice job!
Oh. My. Word. This is simply _delightful_... and I mean that in a very literal sense... the game _delighted_ me. I've never seen a mechanic like this, though it's possible it's been done before and I've just missed it... but either way, the level design is excellent, the graphics beautiful, the whole feel of the game... I love it. Very well done.
Great game. Its simple, but fun.Love pixel arts. You should go with it to market!
Great game! Made me feel that my brain started working :D
Lovely little game, full of joy.
Awesome game, I enjoyed it a lot, but i don't see how this game fit's the topic of the game jam
Small reminder to make sure you get your own "ratings given" up to at least 20!
This game is quite fun and i love the unique card-like mechanics!
This game reminded me a lot of NITROME games. One simple mechanic done very well and has a plethora of ways to interact with everything else in the game. I had a very enjoyable time!
Amazing game! Impressive that you've build such fun puzzles in such a short time.
Very fun! I didn't expect to play through the whole thing but I just went from level to level, challenging my brain cells each time. What a simple mechanic that made for a very enjoyable experience.
This is an excellent game. So much so that I finished it and wanted more. I would like the ability to pause the game so I can have time to figure out what I want to do. Continually dying while I'm trying to figure out what to do isn't so fun, but everything else is just lovely.
Really nice game i loved the art,the music everything,it was super easy at the beginning then as the number of segments increased so do the challenge increased, overall a highly polished game good job.
Really nice and simple game! Concise idea and properly implemented. Looking forward to more levels in post jam versions :p
10/10, best I've come across yet
Excellent quality for programming, art, audio, concept and level design. Best I've seen so far.
Amazing! The best one so far
What a cool mechanic! And wrapped in a so good package overall. Amazing.
What an amazing and polished game made in just 48 hours, very Nice!
Really enjoyable game! music and sounds top!! Graphics really cure and polished with cool animations. I think this would make a great mobile game! It would be good to read/watch a post mortem or dev log on this!!! Good job, congrats!
Awesome puzzler and idea. Really thoughtful small animations as well. Loved the nostalgic music. Absolutely well done!
Very cute and well made game. Great job!
Really fantastic!
Ok now this is epic
Super creative game, great job!
This game is a joy to play. Very well done in such little time! I love how simple and innovative it is. Got me hooked from the very first level!
Nicely done! Very original.
The mechanic is quite interesting, I've never seen a puzzler feel so much like a tile laying board game. Over all very cute!
Really interesting mechanic, quite innovative. I got nerdsniped quite hard by this game and I couldn't put it down until I finished it, that was fun! The music felt a bit repetitive/up in your face after having it play in the background for so long, but it still was pretty good.
Perhaps the most inovative game I've played this jam. Well done!
Amazing game! Very unique mechanics and lovely art style. Would love to see this game continued!
Ahhh, cool! One of those games that feels like it wasn't made for a game jam. Such a cool concept!
The problem of this game is that it has an end! God! So creative, so well polished, so well designed! I am in awe! Brilliant entry, good job!
This is really a great game! Perfect for mobile!
Very nice game, that's impressive to do that alone in only 48 hours :D
Very impressed - best LD game of this jam so far! Only minor quibble is that the music is a bit too short and simple but otherwise just fantastic!
cute game :) it was fun to play, I like the idea, graphics and music too :) for me, the amount of levels and their difficulty designed perfectly
Incredible job on this one!
The game design is simple and good, the level design is on point, the art is great, all little animations and input feedbacks are polished, the ending comes when it needs to. This gave me a real Nitrome vibe.
Thank you for the game, you can be really proud, I hope someday I can be as talented!
Very clean visual and nice mechanics!
Super polished! Very interesting and engaging, honestly everything was highly polished and gorgeous. I was sure this was a Jam game at first! Phenomenal work, really amazing entry!
Super enjoyble game
Had to check this out after seeing so much about it here and youtube! I have to agree with everyone and this is truly a masterpiece! Winner if this Ludum Dare!
A game this polished and fun in only 48 hours is astonishing well done.
Masterpice, 5/5 you can expand on this concept and publish it on steam, or maybe make it mobile relese, because controls fit touch devices
Amazing game :O Good graphics, fun core mechanics, audio was nice... The only thing I can think of that's missing is a way to control the speed, because sometimes I had to wait a while for the guy to walk. Still, great work!
Obviously just throwing my two tiny sticks of wood into a massive fire but well done! Was really polished and enjoyable to play!
Nice game! Addicting gameplay, well polished, a masterpiece! congrats ;)
Wow, awesome game!!! I was so sad when it was over.
Everything is cool in this game: music, game design, graphics. Separately, I respect the work of the programmer - the game is really polished. Very cool job, guys!
Really nice concept, plus the game is really polished and has a lot of levels for a 72h jam, good job.
Simple and innovative gameplay + nice and polished graphics. Brilliant! This game NEEDS an update in the future!
Great game, I'd love to see more of this.
Simply perfect, LOVE IT!!!
Finally a really lovely one! This is a pure game.
Great game, i want more XD
Great game. It could use some menus though like a level select menu. Also it could use a pause feature. But it is a AWESOME GAME! Absolutely amazing work.
Great game. It could use some menus though like a level select menu. Also it could use a pause feature. But it is a AWESOME GAME! Absolutely amazing work.
I have to say...I am pretty proud of myself for finishing the game! :) Excellent work on the level design and scaffolding the learning process.
Very nice. Room fragment swapping seems to be a pretty common idea in Ludum Dare :)
The graphics are very clean and well polished. Same for the audio! The fact that the cursor went into a little "wait" mode when the character was going through an animation was a very nice touch, reminded me of 90's games a lot. Being able to pause the game by simply lifting a fragment almost made the game a bit too easy. Perhaps there could be a timer? Or just drop the fragment if the player hasn't managed to move it before the character went off-fragment?
Really great! Can't say much more than what's been said already. Awesome puzzles!
Nice work!
Your game really requires you to use your brain, and I like it!
Currently I'm at Level 9, and my goal is to finish it.
---
I've got to say, this instantly reminded me of the winner of last Ludum Dare COMPO.
It's called [The World Collector,](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/world-collector) by [joe-williamson](https://ldjam.com/users/joe-williamson) and I really recommend you check it out.
full.png
worldcollector.png
It's got exactly the same base concept as your game, although in that game you collect the level-fragments as you go, and you're also free to control the character.
It went Top3 in FOUR different categories in LD45, so it's a really solid entry! Highly recommendable.
---
Just thought that I'd point out this resemblance.
Keep up the good work!
Really Cool game. loved the idea and mechanic. Just the right amount of difficulty. Excellent job!!!
Really solid! not something I have ever really seen before, and it was a puzzle game I'm good at! which is saying something. not that its easy, but one that doesn't get frustrating. Nice work!
Great game, I really enjoyed this one, and it got very challenging which is great, this game does closely resemble the winner of the last Ludum Dare. Great job with this.
We've seen this sort of "move bits of the world around" gameplay before, but this is done exceptionally well, clever puzzles, and generally slick execution that it's really out of the ball park for a Ludum Dare game. Really great.
This is a good game. It's not new anymore the idea of a puzzle game that involves tiles of a meta puzzle, but if the game is interesting enough and with good puzzles it's a great game. Good work!
Good entry, it is really polished with good music, art and animations and the puzzle design is great! My only concern might be the connection with the theme that is not obvious to me.
great
Very nice and polished game! I hope it's gonna be the winner of this ludum dare :D
Probably one of the most innovative games of this jam. The game was damn fun and the audio was very enticing. It was very fun having to manipulate the pieces of the level. The graphics were simple and had some rather well done pixel art. Overall it was a well-made experience.
OMG, it was so funnyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!, i loved, very good job!!!!!
Awesome Job guy ! This game high polished and sound like a full game ready for publishing. Love the art and this little game design.
I think it match a lot the theme because of the tension I need to put on myself to keep it alive from one card to another card where the character would die and at the same time have a lot of reflexion to save him.
Really good job.
PS : The tricky part is to hold a card to stop game time ;p With a total timer as the score it could force us to resolve faster and taking some risks !
Thank you !
It is a very well crafted game, and lovely to play :) fun, relaxing and alsi some little puzzle to not get bored! A great formula! :) Well done on your entry, it was pleasant to play :)
Made it to the tree! Very clever and interesting game. Great job !
It's a really fun, well crafted game. :) Loved the puzzles!
Super solid entry. Lots of fun to play. Mechanics were clear, challenge was solid. Got stuck on level 7 but still had a really good time. Great job!
Amazing game. This one is a winner! Getting that old school lemmings vibe with a fresh puzzle mechanic. Bravo!
Lots of fun! I really liked the main mechanic!
Awesome game! Puzzle/level design was fantastic and unique. Graphics were cute. Music felt a little repetitive.
Love the juice on this game (i.e. the grabbing the next tile and mario 'death jump'). It's so innovative and really like being able to control the game in such a different way. I solved all of the puzzles and did slightly wonder when it would end, but 10 levels is a really good number to finish on. Well done on such a cool game!
Every Ludum Dare it seems there's one idea that just stands out for its complete out of the box ingenuity. What an awesome idea! Completely unique, super intuitive and compelling. The graphics are good, even down tot he loading bar when he is transitioning. Very clever.
Very innovative, great art and juuuicynesss! Future versions could have more difficult levels, but it was already very interesting and didn't feel frustrating.
Awesome entry! Very polished and clean, very well designed, only thing that could make it better is more levels  Played a pretty similar game from this LD called [Tumble Baby](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/tumble-baby)
Great entry, I had a lot of fun playing!
It's awesome
a really fun game that has a clever mechanic and a catchy tune. great game.
I played it on the first day after submission, and the comments were not working. I just wanted to say, what an awesome and polished game, specially the visuals. I'm surprised that there is another very similar game on the top of the rankings as well (Tumble Baby). I've seen this game on the front page of some websites, congratulations for the exposure.
Nice game. An interesting mechanic and it looks very polished. Good job.
Really great entry, everything was polished and satisfying. I wish there were more sound effects for whenever the character moves horizontally from a square to another for example. Other than that, pretty perfect!
So clever and original! Really amazing entry. I got a little frustrated when having to begin levels from the beginning and losing progress after dying stupidly. Otherwise really well done! Congrats!
Amazing Entry. Such a great puzzle game with lots of content aswell. Really good audio and cute visuals. I kinda wish there was an eaiser way to pause the game without having to start dragging stuff. Really great.
Really cool and well made entry! It all works together so well.
The puzzle pacing is done really well and the introduction of mechianics definitely keeps the game interesting.
This is a good puzzle game! I love it. Good LD entry. I was easy to understand and challenging. Good work.
When I realized that I could pause the game by picking up tiles, it became really fun. :) Overall: really delightful.
Very good entry! I had already share it with friends, haha!
It's very well polish and structured. Love this mini puzzles and the sounds.
Good work!
As everyone said, it's a very nice game. Nice cartoony graphics, and interesting mechanics  The puzzles were tricky enough to force me to have more than on tries for some of them  Well done!
well you already have 900 comments saying the same thing, but i might as well just say this game is very innovative, has nice polished graphics, and is short and sweet. I enjoyed it a lot, but just some small things to note:
- The music was decent and fit the mood of the game well, it was just a little sharp and slightly repetitive, so that's one thing to consider. It was still pretty good though, especially compared to most LD games. - I feel like a small indicator he would bounce off the wall would be nice because it was hard for me to wrap my head around when planning how to beat a level - A way to pause the game would have been nice so I didn't have to hold a screen indefinitely
Besides these small points it was a very nice polished puzzle game that I enjoyed thoroughly. Good job!
very funny game. good job!
What an extremly well-done game! The idea is very innovative and cool, it makes you feel like a comic character is breaking the 4th wall :D And what a cute charakter at that.. :) I'm extremely impressed, this game is so beautiful, polished, smooth and finished and most of all, FUN! You've managed to come up with a couple of great puzzles there. and it's even a compo entry, I can't believe you did this by yourself in 48 hours O: I don't even know what kind of feedback to give as in what to improve, because I didn't really notice anything bad! Ofc you can always improve stuff like add even more features and assets ^^ That's one of those games that would make a great smartphone/tablet game, hopefully you continue to work on it as a little side project :) good job! p.s.: I didn't rate and comment with a hidden agenda because I genuinely enjoyed your game, but if you would maybe check out our game, we would be extremely happy about it ^_______^
extremely polished for a ludum dare game, nice work
This was very fun. Great work having a solid level design throughout the game! The puzzles were creative and worked very well. This is very impressive! Great entry.
Incredible Game ! very original !
Cool game! Definitelly top score in innovation among all games I've played so far this jam
I played until the end. Good game. (The sounds appeared only at level 5???) The Mac file seems broken.
Very fun, good work! The main mechanic is polished and well implemented. The level design is solid and has a gentle learning curve. Don't even get me started on the fantastic audio lol
very polished, fun to play, good puzzles, nice concept. bravo!
Clever mechanics, decent pixel art, challenging puzzles. I played the game till 'Tricky' level. Your effort is very visible! You got it all mate! Awesome game. :D
Clever mechanics, decent pixel art, challenging puzzles. I played the game till 'Tricky' level. Your effort is very visible! You got it all mate! Awesome game. :D
Excellent! Reminded me of the mobile game "bring you home" - but this worked more vertically which was nice. Good job!
Love how well built your game is on every level. Congratulations with great entry.
Very good game!
Wow! When I first saw the screenshots my first thought was "Wow, there's no way I could implement something like that in a weekend", but after playing it I realized this is just a really really good/elegant design. Obviously you did a great job on every aspect, but the concept/design of this is extremely good.
Very nice game. I love the puzzle mechanic, and every animation is so cute. Would love to see a longer verson someday. Congrats on your wonderful entry!
very cool idea and mechanics, i loved the pixel art as well, very retro game you made :)
Just added a vote of mine to this tornado of positivity :) Wish you the best of luck!
wow great little game! General idea not exactly new, but quite rarely used
Really impressive, especially for a compo entry. So polished! Such a clear to the point idea and execution. Perfect length and depth for a Ludum Dare game. The only tiny nitpick I could come up with is that it would have been nice if there was a pause function to think things through, and each level started in a paused state. This way I always had to drag a random tile just to be able to think about my next step, which felt a little unnatural. Still, impressive entry, I'd be very surprised if this doesn't end up in the top 10. Well done!
nice game - very polished. I've seen the concept few times already but it's very well executed here.
Very fun game! Reminded me a lot of the old Lemmings games, both gameplay-wise and music-wise. Well done!
This would be the rank #1, no doubt! surprisingly the size of the game is only 5 MB and the inside was a masterpiece. I really appreciate the instant level restart, music toggle, etc. others like graphics, sounds, musics, mechanics, level designs are spectacular! So what game engine you're using? I found similar built games like this because when the code error pop up (yea I found a bug, but it's okay) it has the same format. Overall this game is the best in this game jam imo.
Definitely an innovative gameplay style, I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before. The music was okay but a bit grating pretty quickly, so thanks for the silencing option. Graphics were good but a bit small, bigger tiles put closer together might've looked better. More visual feedback besides the lock would have been good for immobile tiles, like maybe make them in black-and-white? Or make the borders look like chains? Just some thoughts. The gameplay was excellent, perfect easy-to-learn-hard-to-master style.
What else can I say what has not been said before..... Very interesting gameplay great graphics, sound and atmosphere..... Still surprised that there are 2 games in this LD that on the surface look so similar (and are both super super polished)
smooth and very polished game. The sound and the gameplay match perfectly.
Lovely graphics, fun game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/H9ztqzSqyIM
@larsspawn it's made with Game Maker:Studio 2 :-)
Nice little puzzle game, great graphics and sound. You feel smart when you finish a level =)
Wow this was good
Wow @daniel-moreno you got lots of ratings. Good for you. I was able to finish the game. I thought it was very fun and it's the first time ever I play a game where the platforms can be rearranged, I thought that was clever.
You created enough levels to make the game fun and showed enough to make me imagine what a full release would look like.
I encountered a bug I saw someone else report also where I left the character bouncing on the edge of the screen and it eventually fell out and crashed the game.
Solid entry. Great job!
@daniel-moreno Isn't GS2 like paid at $149 for 1 year just for HTML5 and $99 for Windows and Mac??
Hey, congrats for the entry! Love everything about it! :)
@aryanjumani it's a permanent license, not just one year :)
Really good, great work!
Top notch entry! I played to the end, the difficulty progression is wonderful (on top of an already inventive mechanic)
Seems like something that could ship straight to mobile.
Not THAT aligned with the theme tbh. But, then again, the theme is just a guide, right?
Anyway, the game is SO awesome that the theme doesn't matter in this case.
Great job. You need to expand this and make it a full game.
Great execution on all fronts. The music was pleasant to listen to while solving the puzzles. The graphics and animations were clean and readable.
The puzzles themselves don't have super obvious solutions, which motivates me to figure them out. That being said, either the possibility space was not very large or the solution to non-solution ratio was relatively high, because it was easy to play mindlessly until I stumbled into a solution. I was never forced to slow down and think, because there wasn't much to think about. It also wasn't really possible to slow down and think, unless I held onto a piece to pause the game. I felt consistently motivated to continue playing, but mostly because the solutions came easily without much effort. There weren't any particularly memorable levels, or levels the stood out. I would say the most interesting moment was when I encountered a raised-ground tile that I had seen a few times before, but this time with a twist: there's a spike on one side of it, so you can't just treat it same as the ones from before.
The amount of polish on the game is incredible. It might seem like a little thing, but the little clock that appears next to the hand is really effective at indicating times when player input is ignored. The white border highlight around the tiles, too. I feel like player control is under-communicated in a lot of games, especially puzzle games, leading to a feeling of unresponsive controls or eaten inputs. I've thought a lot about how to make games feel responsive when animations are involved. How do you handle inputs if an animation is currently playing? Do you skip the animation? Do you buffer the input? You present a solution here; ignore player inputs during the animation and show a spinner. It's a bit old-school, reminds me of an old Sierra game, but it definitely works in this context for its intended purpose.
The controls were easy to learn and did not get in the way of the gameplay.
Wooh!! Such a cool puzzle game. Nice learning curve and good introduction to the new puzzle elements. Small suggestion, pause the game at the beginning of the level, this brings peace and quiet and you don't get into the stress immediately. The only thing that I think could be improved is the short loop of the background music.
This is really cool - very clever gameplay and great ramp up of difficulty (you have to be at least a tiny bit clever from Level 3 onwards). The graphics and the music are cute.
The reload button is a great quality of life improvement - I think I would like a fast forward button or key to hold would be nice for when you've died a few times on a level.
this is a really fun game and very well executed. didn't match the theme in my opinion. but this is a broad theme anyway right?
what was the mobile game that had this mechanic I totally forgot!
but you introduced this one greatly and the pace was incredibly well done!
Very original and polished! Good level progression. Impressive work for a compo entry. It also reminds me of a previous entry of our own, "Frogger, the jigsaw". I did experience some annoyance with not being able to grab pieces sometimes, only later I discovered the clock next to the mouse cursor. A trick I had to use is to freeze the game by holding on to a piece. Perhaps have a pause/play button?
Such a simple concept yet so much can be done with it. Well done!
Please stick to the concept, would love to see (and maybe pay;) ) a bigger game with this idea. You are on there something that could really be another Baba is You.
It is a great little puzzle game. Very fun mechanic. Loved it!
I really like the mechanics and the design of the little puzzles. Really polished and nice game
Nice game. The graphics are very impressive and it is very well polished for a compo entry. Good job!
Woah 1000+ votes. Crazy. But yeh this game is great! Graphics are super nice. Audio is simple but effective with a nice nostalgia. And the gameplay is solid! And not to mention the level flow is its own tutorial, nicely done. But when it comes down to it, I suck at puzzel games, I think I got to level 4 or 5, and then my brain hurt too much! Great work haha
1000+ is crazy. anyway it is a good game i enjoyed playing it. Keep it up. :v:
Super work, awesome game. Amazing effort
Music was a little bit too squeaky. Animations felt good and the little character was sometimes too slow. Would be could if I would be able to speed / slow the game.
Ocorreu um erro enquanto eu pensava em como avançar o nono estágio. Meu personagem saiu da tela e travou o jogo. Enquanto ia de um lado para o outro lá embaixo. @.@
An error occurred while I was thinking about how to advance the ninth stage. My character left the screen and fought the game. As I went up and down there. @.@

Analysis...
1 - Mechanics, Learning and Flow: The mechanics suit the theme very well, keeping the character alive while walking through a scenario with possibilities of death (different spines or even a fall). When controlling the game by moving parts of the scenario, we need to make the character pick up collectibles (especially the fruit that is the main objective of each stage). When I moved the stage I had some difficulties, maybe it is a problem with my mouse (or when choosing to use a mouse as the only tool). Having just one tool is great in most cases, but in this case I would like to have access to pause the game on another button (given that taking a card already does that, it would not be adding too many more), unless it is intentional have the cost of discomfort in keeping the stage part up. Another possibility to allow more thinking, would be to let the character stop at a button or slow it down. All of these suggestions are just thinking about the discomfort I felt. The character fell off my screen in the eighth stage, after walking around a few times. Unfortunately this caused the game to crash and I had to start over to get back to that point in the game (maybe leaving the screen could be a trigger to restart the stage, I think the game crashed due to excessive processing outside the screen, I don't know). Learning to play was a lot of fun, the basics we learn with one or two attempts in the first stage, then we will master the mechanics better. The game flow is very good (in my view). With the exception of the last stage, which I think was done to appreciate the final art, I think it was quite fun (and immersive). I suppose that (if the post LD46 project is continued) a good idea would be to create sets of stages with new challenges. Another thing would be to have a life limit (if the idea is to do a campaign), or something like that. I think the project has a lot of potential for extension.
2 - Graphics, Audio and Narrative: The graphics were very good for the event time, especially the final tree (I really liked it). There are polishes that can be done for the player's character (PC), I believe (in case of continuity) he could have the character project developed (as well as the art). The audio was very pleasant (track and effects). :) The narrative is very simple, there is not much to talk about.
3 - Culture: The game reminded me of old games for personal computers, which required me to move the pieces inside the board (block puzzle style); with the difference of being a game with action and PC. Given the amount of evaluations, I believe that the game is already a good piece of cultural return. It also serves as a starting point for new similar games.
4 - Monetization: I believe that this game would be good for smartphones, with different stages and themes (narratives and mechanics). I think it would sell attempts to pass the internship. I also believe that the content could be extended from time to time, keeping the community alive.
perfect level design! really good job :)
Very promising concept! Really love the level designs especially impressive in a Game Jam and blends with smooth gameplay. Everything is perfect!
This was a awesome game! I kept playing and it was fun to figure out solutions. It didn't take to long to execute your plans and the pacing was nice! Well done!!
Very cool! You should launch this on mobile
Cute game well executed game. The puzzle designs had a good progression to them!
Extremely polished, especially for a compo entry - anything from graphics to level design feels like a finished game. The mechanics are really unique, too; I had a lot of fun playing the game. You did an excellent job making all this in just 48 hours!
FIVE STARS! Amazing level design!
Bloody amazing, so polished and fun to play.
A few people pointed this game out to me because it's similar to my entry but there's so much about this that's different! I love your art and the transitions between frames are spectacular! Great work
