Something Magical by wasd 2020-04-22T05:02:59Z
I hope it was almost as relaxing making it as it was for me playing it :) Some pixel fonts would look great with this. Would like to see more of these relaxing games at these game jams!

Loved the house music levels! Nice work, I really liked it.
Spikes, cannons and a baby! Really cool concept and implementation, outside the box as well.
Controls were a little slippery, but that made it part of the challenge. I liked this one, good use of the pico-8!
Really cool game, old school. Some of the levels were a bit challenging but they make you feel smart when you beat them, especially any one with balloons.
simple, but fits with the style well. Went against my natural impatience!
New take on an old classic. Couldn't beat it but got sucked in, had a huge fire in level 7 and lost it right after. Nice work!
Cool game, realized it's all about having a good start or else your station gets way too small :)
Great game. Had some lag with the mac version when planting stuff, it would freeze for a few seconds, but that's not necessarily surprising for a cross-platform compo game. Loved the art, big pixels, movement and general vibe of the game, I'm going to check out more of your work.
Really good, innovative concept and the music, art and general style all fit well together
very innovative. dug it
Like the 2.5D look. Could use a little more polish and some of the sfx were a little jarring, but other than that great work.
Really good game, definitely pushing the limits on what you can do with Bitsy, great work! Really like the music too, fits well
Really liked this! I'd like to see it fleshed out with more content. Music and art help fill a great vibe.
I'll need to come back to this and spend some more time to get to everything, great job with producing something of this scope in the jam! Love the look and feel of this game.
Went through the loop at least 4 times because the backgrounds and transitions were so cool. Great work
Made it to 14 days before my hospital was overloaded, but immediately after people starting getting better, cool concept and implementation
Awesome. got super sucked in, didn't think I would.
First couple of times I played lost my grass right at the last couple seconds, really liked this game. With more mechanics I think it will have even more replay value.
Ran out of room for my portal :/
Victory! Some of those 3rd waves were hard, level 3 i barely made it :)
Controls were a bit hard, bit everything else was great, especially the environment. Would love to play a longer game in this setting.
Cool idea, pretty tough. Like how the Robot-Launcher doesn't fire immediately so it requires some quick thinking the further you get.
Pretty innovative, I think I got pretty far but I lost track of what level I was on. Good work!
^^ I agree with everyone else, very cute. Hand drawn touch was excellent, reminded me of picture books I read as a kid. Great work
I thought the controls were tough at first, but it was a innovative idea to have them change as you get updates, brings a new type of challenge to the player.
Dug this, very innovative and fun to play. I really liked the voices, good call recording those! Wasn't too hard until the pigeons, would love to see someone talented speedrun this.
Could use some additional speed and polish- some particle effects would be cool. I like it, more angles and faster bullets would be an improvement. Nice work!
nice lil tamagotchi-like. mine died :/ cool though!
Awesome that I could just drop the `.nes` file into an emulator on my mac and it works perfectly, I dug it. Collisions felt a little weird to me, but they were almost nes-like? Really cool.
No death for me, done in 2 days! Good amount of content for the jam
Loved watching the jellyfish! my favorite part. The music there combined with the desolate feel was an excellent creative choice! Really liked it.
Really good, very polished for a 48 hour game! Enjoyed playing, and even though it is short it feels like a complete game.
Cool concept. A little complex to start, so it was harder to get into, but pretty good for a 72 hour RTS game!
Hilarious and addicting. His face when you hold his head and it just goes silent hahaha!
Nice, started getting hard around 4 a.m.
I love the music with this, sets the scene for epic proportions. Nice work!
Really cool idea, love the hand-drawn graphics. Simple to play, and a definite challenge
Liked the graphics and feel, kinda scary! Good work
This is cool, I think this could definitely be a great tool with some more content and polish.
are you ok?
wow. impressive amount of polish, love the fire mechanic and shadow system. amazing work!
my favorite so far. very out of the box, great work!
great work team! music, effects, design, art, feel are all A+
had trouble with the collision when trying to jump, but still an impressive amount was done in 48 hours. nice work
this is really cool, I like the open-endedness of it and how much further you can take it, especially with a usable web browser and desktop framework
Nice work. Dug the music, very original art style, I'm going to check out your source to see how you made the 3d view work so well
It's fun right out of the gate, no long intros or tutorials. I like that it got chaotic quickly. nice work
do you watch twin peaks?
not bad! especially for your first submission. Got pretty hard quickly, but cool nonetheless
Really great work. Love the crafted-adventure/roguelike combination. Everything is cohesive, would definitely play a full version
damn, tony
nice work. I like the white noise/ocean sounds to go along with the music, reminds me of old school zelda
cool idea, definitely one of the most original i've seen, pretty challenging too
