Hi, the link for the HTML version don't work could you fix it ?

tinyhatgames 2021-04-26 09:15

The right link is https://5mixer.itch.io/orbdig

tinyhatgames 2021-04-26 09:22

There's a really nice satisfaction as soon as you become OP (like within 30 seconds or so :D). It's just too bad the new mines are more of the same, and there's no real win or lose. Still probably one of the most fun games I tried for this LD yet.

5mixer 2021-04-26 09:26

Fixed the link!

Thanks TinyHatGames. Yep, needs an end game hehe. Considered adding lava and biomes but ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

Cool core dynamics! Could be really nice if extended with additional gameplay.

P.S. Didn't find any instructions for the laser, had to test my way to figuring out that it was activated by 'W'.

okay this was really really fun!! i played it for longer than i planned to and just spammed a lot of dynamite. and exploded the whole map :) good job!! really fun game :D

plusminus 2021-04-26 09:34

Dynamics is nice, but not enough content to be fun. though I spent 10 min here <_>

jerm 2021-04-26 09:43

There wasn't really much gameplay, but it was still really fun flying around and blowing everything up.

dhim 2021-04-26 09:46

Fun,

I find the control somewhat inversed! I keep pointing in the wrong direction to fly...

harrison-dunn 2021-04-26 16:31

Ok, that's the first 5 i've given out for fun. Things quickly got out of hand and I was just holding down the dynamite button and obliterating the level. Very satisfying. Movement felt a little unintuitive at first, but as soon as you unlock the laser, it makes sense so you can move and fire at the same time. Well done.

m11 2021-04-26 17:32

The movement controls were really fun!

samguy 2021-04-26 19:37

Very fun sandbox game! I didn't feel a strong sense of urgency to do anything in particular but it was very fun to just spam dynamite all over the place and carve out the mine. Only thing I'd change is make button presses at the top not trigger the player to move around

rhoff95 2021-04-26 20:09

Really interesting idea. I think it would be very cool to see the mining mechanic linked with the movement. It was more fun for me to fly around than it was to hold down the mouse to laser something. I wanted to ram into the ore to mine it etc. Great job.

jefvel 2021-04-27 10:08

This is very fun to play even though it doesn't have a win/lose condition. Just blowing everything up is satisfying.

Would be very cool and make for a good full game if it had some sort of enemies and variation when buying new mines!

All in all it's a neat compo game!

zzox 2021-04-27 13:29

fun game! i liked when i got to the point where my dynamite speed was maxed and i was spinning in circles shooting dynamite everywhere

dragonsbeardgames 2021-04-29 22:49

I had a lot of fun just spewing insane amounts of dynamite everywhere, the laser felt a little underwhelming but maybe I didnt upgrade it enough. I wish there was something cool to great me after you reach the bottom and fall into the endless dark pit. Great game!

nick-rafalski 2021-05-03 03:06

This was so much fun! I found that once I had the Dynamite Force and Dynamite speed really high (like it cost 1.6M) I could just press both Dynamite + Laser in front of me, and it was like I was taking a big eraser tool to the whole map wherever I flew. Really fun!

kassanu 2021-05-03 18:54

It's very fun and satisfying to play, just spamming dynamite at max speed all over the place

cheesepencil 2021-05-05 00:42

I love how it gets so zany once I can afford enough to make the dynamite super OP lol gg

thegreenworm 2021-05-05 11:03

This is a fun toy ! The lack of clear goal makes it quite uneventful after a while, but it feels good to blow up stuff once you've upgraded enough. Consider adding a simple goal so that players can work toward an objective :)
