Loved it! Can't believe I survived the lockdown.
Great graphics, the gameplay was confusing in the beginning but rewarded experimenting, well done.

A bit incomprehensible - but I think I see a nugget of something interesting here if only it were clearer what you need to do.
A bit floaty, seemed to have a wall jump mechanic to get up some of the taller ramps but these were a bit inconsistent. The legs stopped moving every now and then. Did like the bullet physics, don't always see that! Managed to shoot a baddy from up on a cliff, which was satisfying.
One of my favorites so far! Really fun, hope you'll continue growing this after the jam
Very clever! Well done
HTML version doesn't seem to work, I heard music but nothing happened when I pressed the indicated buttons
Intrigued but have no idea what I just played. Can you explain?
The Mac app is not working, errors with a rather unhelpful 'Cannot be opened'. Will try again when back at my PC, intrigued by the screenshots.
Don't recall if it was level 1 or 2, but I couldn't enter a door because I hadn't disposed of all the baddies. Then it wasn't clear I could drop down through the floors by pressing down, I tried jumping for a while to no avail. But found my way in the end.
Think this would be massively improved with a walking animation, the punching animation is very well done. Good story, nicely done.
Nice idea, would like to see this expanded on further
Nice, liked the art and the TV-effect. Took a while to understand what to do but then it clicked and seemed a bit too easy. Still, good effort!
Hats off for sharing
Found it a bit confusing to understand what's going on, in the beginning my planes just dropped straight down until I got a hang of the controls. I do appreciate the game of life in the fire, very nice.
Liked the concept! Had some issues with my controller: I could walk around just fine but nothing mapped to shooting the gun, so I tried to beat the game by running around behind the enemies and draw their fire while jumping around like a madman. Worked pretty well until the fourth wave where there was a small height difference and I stood on the baddies' heads while they and the allies shot at each other without anyone hitting anything. Otherwise, good mood, well executed.
Thought the recharging mechanic was interesting, even if not really enforced. A bit unclear when shot as the laser didn't always appear. On the other hand, got stuck standing with my back to a wall with a baddie shooting at the square in front of me without ever hitting :) Still, see promise here, could become a good puzzler.
Very pretty, like the music and sound effects. Would have liked to see more interactivity - logs getting added to the fire instead of just removed from the stack and rotating
The lighting from the lasers is subtle but very effective, nice!
I hate the bats and I killed way too many peasants. Good one!
Liked the animation of the main character. The gameplay was a bit unclear.
The pinkish transition thing doesn't move completely out of the way after starting the game so half the screen is not visible (mac/chrome).
Love the graphics, and would never have thought of mixing lemmings and Tetris. One of the best I've encountered this jam.
Good concept. Was expecting a flatline sound when the patient died ;) Nice one
Nice effort, a bit easy once you figure out the parts where the foxes can't reach. Liked the music, the death sound was a bit jarring. Well done!
The sounds were spot on for the mood, very nice. Liked the art as well. Slow to start though, and hard to keep up with the story while wandering around. Suddenly the fire was extinguished while I was out looking for wood... would be great if you could skip the intro for a second playthrough!
The dead babies piling up was disturbing. But then I figured out how to throw them on the ground...
Thanks for your comments all! I did find during my own playthroughs that if you water the plant and dash to the corners you can just about make it - but only just. Then the problem does not become so much weeds spawning at the edges, but more if they keep spawning at opposite corners. But don't forget it's turn-based! You can take time to plan your strategy. Where I want to improve it is when the weeds start growing too close to your plant. It dies sooner, but it's not completely obvious how that mechanic works...
Thanks for the feedback! I think the biggest issue is with balancing - interesting to see how some people say it's too easy and others that it's impossible to win. A lot of luck involved, but I do think there are at least two strategies that allow you to win more often than not... ;)
Once I jumped over the gap and tried to throw down the bowl, instead it got stuck in the ceiling. Hilarious though!
Tricky! Got through the whole thing in the end, and enjoyed it.
Nice boids! Was going to report that it crashes when you die - but looks like that's not a crash :) Not entirely clear how your supposed to go on once all your boids have died, can you recover somehow or are you doomed? Good idea!
