I think the level design here is fantastic. Level 4 hit me really nicely with how creative you had to be to design out interesting levels. Good stuff all around :D
VIM controls aside, really neat concept and the difficulty is fun :D
This was absolutely adorable! The game crashed when I got the map unfortunately :(
Super cute!
I think the added difficulty from the screen shake was a nice touch. I think you could play with that idea in that the more progress the player has, the more difficult seeing the bar should be. Just a thought :p Neat little game :)
Really damn beautiful :O
That first moment, the slow down and audio kick-in, oh man that was very well done :)
A complete game, very nice. I'm sure you already know that polishing is the only real big thing to do from here, you've got something pretty complete already :D
Nice soothing low poly visuals and audio. It's adorable :D
Game just flickers :( I can't play :(
I fell in the vat and died lol
In some areas, you can move without a torch on and get a feel of the area by the moving wagons. I liked that. I think having some 1 lane corridors when there player has to time moving on tracks between small gaps in the walls would be an ice addition. Nicely done :D
It's such a simple addition to the original game, but hits very very nicely. It's a brilliant addition, well done.
This reminds me of Thumper. The visuals are very solid. Put some sick music, design a few levels synced to the music and it'll some super neat.
On a note about difficulty, I think you could copy an idea from super-hexagon, that being the number of obstacles/edges changes as the game progresses.
Good concept, nice job
Extremely comfy, love how relaxed an experience it is
First game for the jam I've seen that's funny lol. Getting special audio for spinning the people was fun.
Good puzzler, good audio, good art. Good all around, would like to see more.
I was enjoying the gameplay, but getting frustrated with dying due to ammo issues. Some balancing is def needed in that area.
Made it to end only to be killed by the big shadow lol. Good work, nifty lil game
Really interesting take on the theme, I like it.
Cool concept, works well. With a good set of levels and maybe a few more mechanics/enemy types, you'd have a pretty nice lil game to put up for sale.
Great concept. I have a super ultra wide screen, caused a few issues, but that aside it's nifty. Good work :)
I play incrementals... this got me hooked quickly lol. Nicely made
Great take on the theme. It felt a bit wobbly going back and forth between character/soul, would have like it to different/snappier. Nitpick aside, fantastic work.
Inputs were extremely buggy, like half of my inputs were just being dropped. Wasn't clear either that the player needs to mouse-click on a target in order to have them selected, which was very confusing.. I would merge a slime and losing control without knowing what to do was scary.
Good concept, good music.
Make a release for the other platforms. It's not scary.
Make a new folder/directory, one for each platform/export. You will put each export in their own location, zip them separately and you're mostly done.
The web export is a little different, when you make the web export, you MUST name the file index (it will add the .html portion, giving you "index.html"). On itch.io, you can put the builds up, click little icon to mark platforms. For the web one, if you have the index.html file in your zip, it can be played in the browser directly.
The only other caveat, you will need to put a signature for the OS build, which really just means typing some sorta name in a text field when doing the export. The OS build will also be a .zip file automatically, no need to zip that one yourself.
A very interesting take on the theme, I like it.
Good visuals, controls, audio; wish there was more to the game. Can't tell if I'm missing something, but right now I can just break up to roughly 9 meteors before game over... I have the suspicion I'm supposed to return to a ship but can't find it :(
Showing the room generation is such a nice spectacle. Game's a good twist on tetris :D
Nice lil 2d shmup, good work
This reminds me of Frog Fractions with how quirky the whole package can be. My score was always 0, not sure if intentional or a bug. Good work adding various elements/systems into a weekend jam.
I like the newspaper/ad take on the theme, haven't seen anyone else do something like it
Very well made and polished. Great work
Very Disco Elysium :o
The artwork is beautiful. The game keeps bugging out on me, now allowing me to play however :(
Very cute art
Great frenetic game
Solid puzzler
Interesting concept, though it seems bugged for me. All icons are a square. I thought the game was bugged because rule 5 wasn't ever working, but looking at the screenshot, the issue is I can't tell what square is what fruit. Every fruit icon is just a square for mefruit.png
For diagnostics, I'm using Vivaldi as my browser.
Movement feels a little to slow, but it's otherwise a good idea. Nice work for the short time you had :)
