@team-on Thank you! Yes, it is possible, sorry! I meant to include it in tutorial text but I forgot to, and am going to include it in a game fixing update soon, among other changes. Just press enter when you are in contact with it. Sorry about that!
Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

Very funny game, punchy stabby man is truely the hero the world needs. Some epic spy music and sound effects would have helped but the idea of the game is still understood regardless. Its quite ambitious for a game jam so it's not highly polished by eh, lifes a trade off.
Enjoyable story, lol. Platforming felt a bit floaty, but other than that I enjoyed playing it, great work!
Don't recall if it was level 1 or 2, but I couldn't enter a door because I hadn't disposed of all the baddies. Then it wasn't clear I could drop down through the floors by pressing down, I tried jumping for a while to no avail. But found my way in the end.
Think this would be massively improved with a walking animation, the punching animation is very well done. Good story, nicely done.
@bjornkri thanks, yeah i wish I had time to implement a walking animation. I started doing one post-jam but I didn't want to accidentally mislead people into thinking I made it during the Jam. I spent so much time polishing the gameplay and cutscene areas that I didn't have time to finish off the animations or do audio. Thanks for the feedback.
Liked the game and had a coherent artstyle, I will carry the name punchy stabby man in honor. But it could have done with some sound or walking animations. Also the textes were really funny.
Nice entrym it was a good experience with a complete story. It was lacking a bit of feedbacks but overall the controls are clean and I enjoyed the variety of environment. At first by reading the text I was expecting the main character to randomly fall asleep or suddentl incontrobly sobbing ^^
Liked the story and thought it was well written and humorous. As others have mentioned the door I also got confused with it until I read the comments. Thought it would have been pretty funny to have made them suspect 46 after this ludum dare.
Kinda need the comments for this game, but other than like one part i really liked it. The humor is great and i would enjoy to see this further developed.
Controls felt pretty good
I cant believe the mechanics in game supper cool.. Superrrr....
Congrats on making a full game with a story and nice controls. The platforming was surprisingly solid and I managed to get a decent combo going by punching enemies into the air and double jumping into them. Could have used some simple sound effects and music but other than that, a great entry!
I love it! The story was funny, the controls felt good and the abilities were really satisfying. Just wish the control scheme wasn't so weird, like pressing Enter to open doors, and pressing Z to skip text.
@fupi thank you! Yeah, I always find it kind of difficult to create an accessible control scheme. Pressing enter makes sense, but it's awkward because no other keys used are near it. Pressing Z is comfortable, but doesn't make sense because it's a little too close to some keys. Whatever I pick will naturally become comfortable to me as the sole tester of the game, so it's hard for me to tell what other people will think of it. Thanks for the review though!
@notapollogising If you want my suggestion, I'd say press W to enter doors (since it's convention, and pressing W while not punching does nothing), and pressing Space to skip text (since you can't do anything while a textbox is up, so it doesn't need a separate button). Or to facilitate further, you could use W to jump and Space to punch, and the uppercut happens when you punch and jump at the same time. Don't sweat it though, because you made an awesome game!
