I really like the art and music. It's fantastic. I also love the polish on the game :D

Very pretty, like the music and sound effects. Would have liked to see more interactivity - logs getting added to the fire instead of just removed from the stack and rotating
Nice Low Poly modellings, cartoon shaders, particle effects, good work. Would have liked a little bit of gentle camera rotation if possible, plus some music or even some old geezer telling a tale!
Great Art, Sound, and theme!!!!
Congrats! Very polished. I also liked the music and the mood that it gave me.
nice arts
Omg. it's adorible! I love it~ it's really calming and cute
Loved the music and the firecrackles. Really peaceful, chill game. I both loved the simplicity of the fire's health to be down to the light but also found it hard to notice first time playing it, leaving me to spam logs on the fire at the very end to keep it alive. Overall really peaceful game.
Is relaxing and so gooooood! I Love it!
Very relaxing! Love it! :)
Very good camping vibe!
Nice work! Only suggestion would be more visual feedback
Visually, the game is really good. The models have a really nice polygonal style, and the particles add a really nice visual flair to the campfire. The gameplay, on the other hand, is very confusing. It was really hard to tell if adding a logs and stoking the fire even did anything. It felt doing those two things barely did anything to the fire, and the game did really explain very well exactly how and when I am supposed to use logs or to stoke the fire. It also didn't help that the fire takes a long time to burn out, which makes the already ineffective logs and stoking feel even more ineffective.
I also have a couple of nitpicks with the UI. It's really strange how the time indicator does not actually show the in-game minutes despite having number slots that suggest it does. Also, it was a tad hard to tell at first when I could add more logs or stoke the fire as the buttons don't really grey out, but instead seem to gain a grey background behind theme.
@lone-wolf @tomd1013 @lanalux @southernwerewolf @landerack @axeltherabbit @team-prosit @bergotronic @plantleaf Thanks for the comments and for playing!!
@bjornkri Thanks for playing. I agree that more interactivity would have been nice.
@owl-skip Thanks! I didn't even think about adding some camera movement. I was thinking of adding more of a story element to the game but it would have been too much work for the jam.
@kierancoppins Thank for playing. I agree that there should be more visual feedback on how your fire is doing. It is difficult to see the decline of the fire.
@edmanbosch Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. I should have spent more time balancing the gameplay. The logs should have more of an effect on the duration and intensity of the fire. I didn't even think of adding in a minute counter to the game, that could have been an easy addition. I agree that the grey buttons needed more work. If I had additional time I would have added in some kind of a cool-down counter for the 'add log' and 'stoke fire' buttons. Thanks again for the comments.
Nice relaxing game, not sure what I was doing but I made it through the night with 15 stokes and no logs remaining. Nice take on the theme.
Super nice art, fun gameplay, cool concept! Only problem think I don't love is that evertime you lose you have to refresh, but otherwise very nice!
@taffaz Thanks for playing!
@forevertrash Thanks for playing. That's a good point, I'll fix that after the jam ends.
My fire made it though the night, but barely. I'm sure it wouldn't in real life! :fire: :camping: :slight_smile:
@gwinnell Thanks for playing!

I think the fun of the game is mediocre. However I love every submission because it's a beautiful passion and display of effort.
Thanks for making and sharing the game!
@louis-hong sorry you didn't like the game but thanks for playing.
I enjoyed playing still! LudumDare is my new favourite thing and every participant is my favourite people!
the sound design and the music is amazing :)
@fetaprodmout Thanks! I really enjoy doing the audio part of game development.
Gameplay was pretty basic, but the art and music are nice and relaxing. Is there a delay before new logs start to burn? The fire seemed to die down late into the game even when adding logs faster and with stoking. Finished with 22 stokes and 2 logs remaining!
@entropymaximizer Thanks for playing! I didn't have a lot of time to put into the game so I keep the scope very small. I also needed to balance the game better. The fire intensity decreases at a constant rate and adding a log instantly increases the fire intensity by x amount. The amount isn't as high as you would expect so it isn't very noticeable.
Nice entry. Beautiful and relaxing. :fire:
@sli thanks for playing!
Love the particle effect. It was a real nailbiter in the end since adding a log didn't seem to add much fuel to the fire, but I made it til sunrise.
@shawn-moore Thanks for playing! I needed more time to balance the game. Adding a log doesn't increase the fire intensity as much as one would expect.
Magic sounds! and good graphics!
It would have been nice to have some visual confirmation for adding the logs. like an animation that puts a new log on. Also maybe show the logs getting burned up, like charcoal.
Very nice game. Graphics and mood were very pleasant and very relaxing. As others said, some visual feedback regarding the logs would have made things more playable but it was such a nice relaxing play.
The theme is spot on. The game is nice, but it seems like the best way is to stoke as much as possible :)
@victor-reiner thanks for playing!
@jelle-vermandere @bilbycoder Thank you both for playing. I agree that there should be fore visual feedback, I was hoping to add into he game but didn't have time.
@gildar76 I also noticed that, I really needed to spend more time balancing the game. Thank for playing!!
Nice little Game. Really like the low poly art and ambience.
@desertmaw Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
Nice atmosphere and music. I liked the suspense the first play through (not knowing what happens when the fire goes out), but playing it a second time seemed lackluster. Definitely a great starting point!
Nice work on the ambient ! i like the particles and the light and the music is great too
@papafhill I agree that there isn't much gameplay the second time around. I think better balancing and adding some environmental elements (wind, rain, etc) could make subsequent playthroughs more interesting. Thanks for playing.
@pixelstuff Thanks! I was really working to highlight the ambience and tone of the experience.
The atmosphere and mood is great! Just wish there was a bit more interactivity.
I like the mood of the game, with all the sounds etc, being stuck at home nowdays I could feel a bit like I'm back in forest again
@gurbx Thanks! I agree that there could be much more interactivity. I was contemplating adding a few extra small features but time didn't allow. Thanks for playing.
It's a beautiful game with great visuals and feel, but having to know how long an hour is and some feedback for doing stuff would go a long way. Thanks for the review!
@theaidency I agree that more visual feedback would be great and I completely overlooked better representing time in the game. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing.
Simple but really well polished game. It goes to show that with a simple concept you can make something really enjoyable, relaxing and still slightly challenging. Loved the whole mood, great graphics, nice music, neat visual&sound effects. Really cool!
@fififox Thanks! I was short of time so I had to keep it simple. Thanks for taking the time to play.
