I had fun :)
nice music choice and mood
really original
I'm not gonna leave a negative rate but there is no way to restart the game, and refresh the page every time is just broken. please consider to upload a patch
I liked the style
I liked the game, I didn't like the shadow movement, it was a bit annoying, nice graphics
I loved the graphics and the effects
A fun game but man those controls, should be illegal to use WASD in that way :0, it's so awkward
A nice classic little game
it's ok but there is not much gameplay, doesn't last a minute, the menus are great
Really nice concept
nice arts
it's a good base for a game, I would try to improve a bit the gameplay tho, don't stop with this ludum dare, it's a good start :)
the itch.io page doesn't work, the project is not public yet or is the wrong link Edit: thank for fixing the link Nice graphics
One of the bests games I've seen so far :), please consider to add the fullscreen button on itch.io
I liked everything of it
nice little platform
Nice one, I liked the sound changing in the proximity of the noise
I loved it, I've played for about 30 minutes, unluckly it's short:(, please keep developing this game, is so nice.
It doesn't work, the bullet doesn't despawn
Graphic and sound are awesome, the gameplay is a bit tough
cool concept but tough to play
Nice art style, pretty good after just 2 months of coding, the mage was annoying :D
Nice concept and minimal graphic, the dodge the box game was broken tho, you can just wait by the corner and fill the whole battery
Really well balanced game, I liked the references, there isn't the full screen option (you can enable it in itch.io) and on my screen was quite small. A lot of fun!
really nice graphics, very polished you nailed it
Wow, super game
that was cute :3
Nice snake clone
good job but was a bit too easy and slow (I image it's due to the engine tho). I've just spammed shoot and moved up and down the whole time without been hit. probably increase the enemies and reduce the shot rate would help
Good job with the graphics but the camera and controls are quite sloppy
Cool game
Was nice but a bit too hard, would be cool to start a bit more slow
Nice game, but on my screen is hard to spot the little spaceship
the game doesn't load on itch.io and ldjam.thunderkerrigan.fr for me :(
Was nice but a bit too hard
One of the game I liked more so far, simple gameplay but everything was well done
Cool idea but the controls are tough
loved the graphics
@nohac sorry about the lag, it's probably due to the web version export, download the binary if you can
WoW 6th in the theme and 37th in Innovation thank you guys, I'm so happy! :)
Super cool graphics
Cool idea, BTW I liked the godot pixel art intro :)
Good job with the world creation
Cool idea but there is almost no control, is more like a waiting game+luck, A bit more control would have made it a fun game
Cute graphics :3
But I wanted to go in date in the weird endless tower's basement :(
Really nice, simple idea but well done, I didn't find the 9th card but I found a way out of the world :D
This is the best game I have played so far, I wish I was so good with the audio. It reminded me a bit of Limbo
Nice, I liked the style and the simple animations, +1 for the dance at the start
404 https://aggrathon.github.io/LudumDare48/
Cool adventure game, Well done GUI, everything was clear since the start
Wow, nice graphics and really hard, you should port this to android
I love weird games, I liked how you managed the difficulty and made every level different
Sorry I tried for a while but I can't see anything without the cheat :(
nice music and sounds
There was something wrong with the input on linux, LMB and E didn't work always, I could not finish the game :(
Wow, I really enjoyed making my frankenstein-submarine, it must have been quite hard to code :p
Did you manage to write the rendering during the jam? :0 Best game I ever seen for pico
I see you used Godot, could you export to HTML5/Linux by any chance? thank you. If you are gonna export to HTML5 you could use itch.io
@qfeys thank you, you can also enable the fullscreen in the project settings.
Nice survival game and quite hard, the forges are great to kickstart the shelters production.
It's missing a restart function I had to refresh the page every time, you can do it with : `get_tree().reload_current_scene()`
@qfeys godot can handle all of it, project settings-> Display -> window -> play with mode and aspect ("2D" and "keep" should be the right one).
I loved the submarine turning animation. I wish there was a checkpoint system,I given up completing the game because I tried the last part 5 times and I had always to start from the begin. Overall I enjoyed the game :)
It seems really cool, is there any chance you could port it to linux? :p
Nice and simple graphics
Nice I liked the art style, was there and end? I managed to do 125
Nice game but a bit unclear about what to collect and why. The graphics was well done
The police sound was 10/10 :D The game idea was funny but a bit repetitive.
Great art style and graphics effect!
This was a really cool game, I had fun playing this game. Great level design, I loved the hidden rooms and power-ups, the difficulty was well balanced, easier in the first levels and hard last level. I would suggest you to enable the fullscreen mode in itch.io because the default window is quite small.
Really relaxing game, felt like making a puzzle, was there any way to recover lost tiles? I was trying to reach the bottom but the dark brown tiles just added tiles in the deck
You must have put a lot of time for all of those models :D.
It was a lot of fun! What did you use to make the wall? was it just a mesh generated with blender or you made it with code?
Thank you everyone! I know the controls are bad and not having points of reference doesn't help and I'm actually surprised someone managed to arrive at the end, I wanted to do many things and I didn't have much time left :D
@nyxkn press space to move, move around with the mouse, shoot with left mouse click, the first thing you have to do is go inside the black hole, then exit it, then kill the big monster at the end, if you are lost you can check how far you are from the target with the "distance" written in the top left corner. you will have always to watch around for enemies
@phlebas mmh, lemme have a look, just a sec
@phlebas the file seems fine to me but I don't have a Mac to try it, I have re-uploaded a fresh one anyway.
how are you trying to run it?
The steps should be:
`cd ~/Downloads`
`unzip DeepPaper.zip`
`chmod +x DeepPaper.app`
`open -a ./DeepPaper.app`
Could I have the full log?
@phlebas oh, I forgot to push the commit, sorry, everything should be there now.
I googled the error, it seems a generic error :/
Maybe I need a Mac to export for OSX?? I've not clue tbh, let me know if you manage to compile it
Nice work, but the enemies are too slow, I just skipped all of them. There is no audio, you need to opt-out the audio category in the ludum dare project page. Overall good first LudumDare game :) keep it up!
Well done, I love the graphics mixed with photographs in the background, and the really nice end scene.
The game is well balanced, the checkpoint are well placed and they don't make the game too frustrating.
I also like the "exploration" and the enemies design
@hotpaw you have to find and grab the little "pills" to go deeper, it's part of the mechanic, it's not a bug
@hotpaw yes, at one point you will take "pills" that make you lighter
Nice graphics and sound, I've got lost since the start and I used the coordinates, a pointer or in-game coordinates would have helped. There was a little bug in fullscreen mode, sometimes the screen was turning black. Overall nice game!
Nice simulation, I manged to win, it wasn't too hard and I didn't need any fuel tho :D. (I think you need to opt-out the audio category since there is no audio)
Nice first LudumDare, keep it up! As other people said I was quite confused about the controls, a little tutorial would have helped. good job!
Screenshot from 2021-04-27 12-01-04.png I can't go futher, I tried the HTML5 version
@apaphy ok, I managed to play using another pc, The game was nice and simple, I liked the little puzzles
I believe there is a bug, after a while those enemies stopped spawning. Overall nice game, I enjoyed digging till the bottom and levelling up :)
Wow an RTS in this short amount of time, great game!
Nice little game, was anything else after the quit button? I pressed it and I regret it
Really nice work, I do not agree with other people that you should have left the placed tiles there, it's part of the game remember the path you have just taken
That must have been fun to code :D. Thanks for the tutorial it was clear, my little record is 125
@plazyqwerty already reported, this is the answer from the creator of LD:
"" Well they're in for a surprise. 😉As of a few events ago, "coolness" is now mostly based on the quality of the feedback you leave on other people's games. For best effect, leaving thoughtful feedback on 3-5 games should have more impact than botting 100+ ratings. We also expect a few stray ratings and statistically remove 3 ratings from each game and average what remains to get scores. End of the day, all this effort of theirs is mostly wasted. When you see someone else leaving good quality feedback on your games or others, give them a like. This ensures the abuse goes unrewarded. I hope that makes sense.Regards, ""
I advise other people to not even try the game, there could be a malware since it's a fresh account and has a generic username, a malware could be there reason of "cheating" in an event like this.
If he wanted "exposure", it didn't work out well, pitiful.
Good to see a game in pygame, quite simple but nice. (You should opt-out the audio category since there was no audio)
Good first game, keep it up!
Really well done, this has potential to be one of those addicting mobile game if you increase the pace.
@sirfist19 in the cmd/powershell, you also have to add python to your PATH
GO FLEET! that was fun, I liked the power ups, was the vagina procedurally generated?
Cool concept but it was really unclear, was there any way to kill the bush? as soon as I reduced its size it was too fast and killed me everytime, I also changed room by mistake by going close to the border quite often
@phealsout yes I did it but it was just too fast and too small
It was really challenging and well designed
Good game to be your first LudumDare! keep it up. I didn't understand what I had to do with the circle thing in front of the plane tho, I tried to shoot it but nothing seemed to change. I also encontered a green and violet wall, was it a bug?
