Great little game, I love the graphics especially!
Well done. It wasn't clear that the dog didn't bathe  This has a lot in it. I don't know what the dog does with all that loot that I gave him. Especially the spades are a nice touch.
Fun little game, love the idea of a dog digging for his bone, it's a great take on the theme! Wasn't able to complete it but still had a good time giving it a go :)
Good job, was fun! Was fun when you collect enough items to become faster! Some instructions would have helped, but got the hang of it! A game end state would be cool too so I wouldnt have to refresh the browser after I died...
Great adventure with the dog. I enjoy the dog animations and superspeed if you go back up.
I believe there is a bug, after a while those enemies stopped spawning. Overall nice game, I enjoyed digging till the bottom and levelling up :)
Nice, leveled up to level 7 and found the bone. Especially liked crazy animation of guys with shovels. Btw, fullscreen didn't work on firefox for me, but it was fine on chrome.
Adorable upbeat game with nice graphics, responsive controls, intuitive gameplay and a great opening cutscene! Awesome job!
The artstyle of your game is really good, and I really like the music. Great job!
What a great game you managed to make in just 48 hours!
I like the retro graphics and cut scene. The variety in objects was good. I also liked the simple upgrade mechanics.
Really nice game. I want to make special mention of how great the progression mechanic is; the sharper the dog's claws get (I assume that's what the number represents!) the more difficult it is to navigate in the earlier sections which encourages the player to dig deeper.
Well done creating a nice game in only 48 hours! I think that there a lot of things that make this game feel satisfying:
1)The graphics were high quality and not too complex. You were able to capture a lot of detail without it being overwhelming. The animations of the dog digging and the worms moving added some life and moevemt to the scene
2)The controls were straightforward and the gameplay felt smooth. It was super easy to get sucked into the world and invested in the dog findng his bone
Something I found slightly confusing at first was the different objects. I thought the worms were enemies and avoided them, only to find out that they were helpful.
Mmmm, bones :meat_on_bone:

@ancooper Congratulations for finding the bone! Don't press alt f4 if you are playing on itch.io, my bad...
Dig, dig, dig where is that bone, I was totally sucked into being this good dog.
Great little game!
Thanks for submitting! Hope my in-stream feedback was helpful!
I liked the game! One thing I found irritating was that when I tried to go up, I was so near the top of the screen that it was impossible to see if I was heading into a spike-ball or not. I liked the graphics.
A solid entry overall, nice graphics and music. A simple mechanic well executed, that's how you should always scope your jam games. Good work!
Hey I found the bone! Great game, I liked the stages, graphic , sounds, everything macthes! jus a tip: maybe to put more enemies on the hardest stages, there are more enemies on the easy stage, also more variety. congrats for the game! it was fun
