Nice slot machine game I like it!
Keep up the good work!

Nice slot machine game I like it!
Keep up the good work!
What a great game you managed to make in 48 hours which we both know isn't enough time
I liked the mechanics and gameplay overall.
Keep up the good work!
I love the retro pixel graphics! Nice booming sound track. Combined with the mouse controls makes for some great twitch game play.
I really want to be able to do something with my loot  or am I missing something?
Really great job and keep up the good work!
Your game looks amazing! I love the post processing affects and the colours. You set an amazing mood. Did you do the voice overs yourself? They sound super clean.
Unfortunately FPS games are not my thing and I couldn't even get past the first crawling green zombie guys (they do look amazing though)
Overall a great job given the time constraints.
I also love the quotes from famous game sites... that kind of humour is right up my alley!
Keep up the good work!!!
Very cool game! I like the destructible terrain. I think you are on to something with this idea!
48 hours isn't enough time to make a game but you did well!
Keep up the good work!
I love the pixel art in your game. It's also a very interesting concept.
48 hours isn't enough time to make a game  but you did it.
Great job!
Nice to see someone else thought of deep in terms of the voice! What a cool mechanic I like it!
Keep up the good work!
What an amazing game with deep gameplay and cool mechanics. It's impressive that you did this in 48 hours.
The controls could be improved imho. My biggest pet peeves were when I am pressing the move horizontal key and I'm in mid air I get stuck to the wall so I have to release that key and press it again. Also climbing the ladder back up to your ship should be easier. I'm being picky here.
Keep up the good work!
What a great game! I love the theme, story, and graphics. It's amazing the content you were able to generate in 48 hours. Good job!
I think there should be some kind of risk / reward to camping. Maybe there is but I didn't see it.
Obviously 48 hours isn't much time to make a game but I think you have a great idea here.
Great work!
I really like your game! I think it has promise even though we both know that 48 hours isn't enough time to make a game
The thing I like the most is the minimalistic approach to the controls.
If you are going to continue to develop the game I would say keep the grappling hook mechanic but also add to it in some way as you progress... maybe limit your ability to use it at the start or make it able to blow up walls later... something like that.
Keep up the good work!
Good job for 48 hours of works!
I couldn't quite figure out the microphone thing but the idea is very original!
Keep up the good work!
Great job on completing the game for the compo!
I like auto battlers and your game is fun.
We both know 48 hours isn't enough time  but you did well!
Hi!
I really enjoyed the game and there are some interesting mechanics here.
My only pet peeve was that I couldn't get the game to restart once I died... I tried pressing every key
Keep up the good work!
This game is really fun! I love the rogue lite elements and upgrades. Good job!
The game isn't loading on itch.io through HTML 5.
I had the same problem using Unity. You can fix it by turning off compression in the player settings at the bottom.
Hi very nice game! I like the theme and the gameplay.
My only complaint is that you have to wait to dig down while the screen scrolls. We both know that 48 hours isn't enough time to make a game  but I think you are on to something here!
Keep up the good work.
I enjoyed your game! Obviously the game play is very simple but I like the idea and the graphics and environment.
48 hours just isn't enough time...
Great job!
I really like your game. Great job on getting it done in 48 hours, which we both know isn't enough time.
This is a game I would explore developing further as I think it has potential.
Keep up the good work!
Hi! I couldn't play the HTML 5 version as there was an error in the website.
I would suggest hosting your game for free on itch.io and joining a large community of creators and players!
Your game is very fun! Congratulations on getting this done in 48 hours.
I enjoyed the art style and the mini map was very cool as well.
Keep up the good work!
Very cool game! Congrats for getting all of this done in 48 hours!
I'm being very picky here but it feels like the hit box on the guy is a little too big, i.e. I die sometimes when I haven't quite hit a spike.
Great job overall and keep up the good work!
Great game starring a Wombat.. we need more wombat heroes!!
I love the retro style graphics and the music. We both know that 48 hours isn't enough time but I love what you have done.
Unfortunately when I press the down arrow key my browser window scrolls down and then the game disappears... so yeah that makes it difficult to play. Not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong
Keep up the good work.
Great Motherload inspired game! I really enjoyed it.
The fact that you have to manage your resources adds a strategy element which I really like.
The game was a little jerky at times on my machine. You should check out Unity I think it probably outperforms Java for making games. And C# is very close to Java.
Overall a very good job guys!
Very nice!
I love the pixel art animations. And who doesn't love parallax scrolling?
You did a very fine job for only having 48 hours. Keep up the good work!
Now that is a very cool game! You must have game jam experience it seems like it was the right mix of mechanics and polish. Nice graphics and sound and gameplay and all possible within the allotted time. This game is a great success in my opinion!
Keep up the good work.
I thought it was a great idea to merge a point and click adventure with a countdown timer. The concept opens up some possibilities.
As we both know, 48 hours just isn't enough time
Overall great work!
I love the pixel art and the water changing colour, and of course the awesome ocean themed music.
I couldn't figure out how to not blow up
Keep up the good work!
Ok where to start... first of all the theme is awesome... not sure if Mullet Time is a play on Bullet Time, but even if it's not it's still awesome.
You wrote your own engine??!!? The first thought that comes to mind is WHY?! But I remember when I started we had to do that, it's just that today you don't need to, you can use Unity for example. Still I commend you for learning what it means to actually make a game engine.
As for the gameplay, I can't get past the first set of flames after I get the jetpack because I use the jetpack and instantly die. I just can't control it for some reason.
And when I die I am forced to quit the game . That's not exactly user friendly. :-(
Also the video settings don't say saved when I am forced out of the game because I died so I have to redo them every time I play... frustrating!!!
Having said all of that you still deserve a 5/5 in my book for having written your own engine!
Now you can take my advice or leave it... if you want to actually make games, then you would be serving yourself greatly to ditch your own engine and just use something like Unity... you will be able to dedicate all of your genius talent to just making the game instead of fiddling with crap.
Keep up the great work!!!
The game has a polished presentation and a tune with a catchy melody. I also love the pixel art graphics.
Great job on getting this done in 48 hours!
Hi thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback.
The game does start out slowly but it gets faster and faster as the voice goes deeper in tone. Maybe it starts out too slowly for a game jam game?
The songs are also randomized and sometimes it picks a slower style and sometimes faster.
Sorry to hear about the second level. That must be a bug that crops up occasionally as I haven't seen that during my testing.
Thanks again trying the game!
Thanks for playing.
I made the game so that you could play it for a long time and so it gets progressively more difficult. By the end you have to deal with 8 keys... maybe progressive difficulty is a good idea for a game jam.
Thanks again for playing!
Thank you! Yes maybe the levels are too long... 48 hours wasn't enough to do everything I wanted to do including enough testing.
Thanks again for playing! :-)
The pace of the game picks up as you go deeper and deeper into the voice... hehe..
But maybe it is too slow to keep people engaged from the beginning. I will keep that in mind for future work.
Thanks guys!
@kernon @rufusdrop @glowglew Did you create a game for this year's contest? I went to your profile but couldn't see any games. I'm a newbie...
@kernon Duh.... thanks a lot!!!
@hilkojj Thank you for playing the game! Yes I only had 48 hours and I went overboard on some things. Definitely some things could have been done better. The game gets more fun if you can manage to keep playing it haha. Thanks again!
@hypp Thank you so much! Every level the sounds gets deeper and deeper. It starts to get really really low (deep), but it takes a while to get there  Thanks again for playing.
@zondarg Thank you for playing! Yes I was torn between making the player start over or just continuing since there are so many levels and it would take forever to get to the end if your progress was reset. It already takes a looong time to get to the end haha. Thanks again!
@the-g Thank you very much for playing the game. 48 hours isn't enough time
@hilkojj I recorded samples of myself singing notes and then made some code that would play the notes in the right sequences to generate (basically) music. 48 hours was definitely not enough and I could do so much more but now I'm burned out on the idea haha
@squigglez Thank you so much for playing. You are exactly right. I had almost no time to test it was all a big blur. The music is 100% procedurally generated from samples of single notes that I sang. I agree with the rhythms lining up. I know what I did wrong and how to fix it, but it is too late! Thanks again for playing!
@appix The music is all generated by the computer from samples of my voice. I sang single notes at various pitches and then use Unity to change the pitch of the samples and play them in a sequence to make "music". Nothing is pre recorded or decided. The chord structure, bass line, and melody of the music is all made each time differently from scratch.
@alexhall Thank you very much for playing. I had something much much better planned for the story and the humour but sadly ran out of time :-(. Thanks again for playing!
@slimabob Thank you so much! The instruments are actually just recordings of my voice singing different pitches and different vowel sounds. To be honest it could be so much better... but for that darn 48 hour thing
I'm not really happy with the final music but oh well....
Thanks again for playing!
@slowfrog-again Thank you for playing. Yes the samples that I used to make the music were rushed... heck so was the code that generated the music. All in all it could have been much better but ... 48 hours
This was my first game jam and I had in mind that people would want to play complete games so I made it like 60 levels long... oops hahaha.. at least you tried it!
Thanks again!
@msipp27 Yes I was playing multiple samples in Unity and not sure how that mixes... definitely could have used more refinement. Thank you for playing.. hope your hearing is still intact
@ddesigndude Thank you! I had much more planned in the humour department but I sadly ran out of time
@mudlee Thank you for playing. The point was to attempt to make procedurally generated music and mix that with a rhythm game. But then 48 hours happened
@rhoff95 Thank you for playing! The game gets progressively difficult which I learned is not a good idea for a game jam. By the end you have to deal with 8 keys. Having said that the 48 hour time limit didn't help either
Thanks again!
I liked the cinematics they really set the mood.
I think there is an opportunity to make a lot of cool dream based content here. 48 hours is not very much time.
Good work!
I liked your game. Simple but solid controls. Nice enemy interactions.
We both know that 48 hours isn't enough time  but you did a great job.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
What a great game you managed to make in just 48 hours!
I like the retro graphics and cut scene. The variety in objects was good. I also liked the simple upgrade mechanics.
Hi! I like the idea of your game and combining a beat em up with a top down scroller with a timer.
Unfortunately I can't figure out how to beat the second enemy and so it was difficult to progress.
Keep up the good work!
Ohhhh you have to get behind it... I thought I tried that... I saw that it was stunned... let me try again :-)
Great job! I love the mood that you set in this game. 48 hours isn't long enough to make a game  but you managed to pull it off.
Keep up the good work
I like the concept and the theme, good choices!
I couldn't figure out what to grapple to or exactly how it worked. 48 hours isn't a lot of time to make a game from scratch
Good job!
This is a very interesting idea! I think it shows a lot of promise.
Once I connect two articles and type in a word I can't change the word and the add new article button stops working. Am I missing something?
Keep up the good work!
Great job on making this game in 48 hours. I love games where you can purchase items to upgrade your equipment!
Sometimes the simpler ideas are the best.
If you continue to develop this game I would like to see more upgrades.
Keep up the good work!
Great job on a classic style of game .. the text adventure!
We both know 48 hours isn't enough time to make a game  but you did admirably.
Keep up the good work!
Congratulations on completing this in 48 hours. This is probably the best game I have played so far. Great work on the mechanics, animations, sound. Everything is solid!
We both know that 48 hours isn't enough time to make a game  but you did a great job.
Keep up the good work!
I like the game a lot. It's a cool take on an asteroid clone turning it into a side scroller.
The mouse controls were also cool and felt responsive.
As you know 48 hours isn't very much time, but the game looks promising!
Great work!
I like your game. It's a good example of making something fun out of simple content and mechanics. Keep up the good work!
Your recursion mechanic is really cool and I think it definitely has potential. Great job on getting this done in 30 hours!!
I like the idea it's very cool! You play arcade game in an arcade factory and the graphics are the same. I think there are some very interesting mechanics to explore.
Keep up the good work!
