The OSX version is not working :(
Keep it up there. Looks like it works on older OSX. I see other games struggling with this OSX problem, but for some it works.
What an interesting idea! It's good you could do this and not let it go in the trash... good job man!
It's a brave thing to participate without an engine. I have two especially as well, but never tried to write a game with it. I'm not that brave. I appriciate your effort here. And the game itself (even letting the biased opinion set aside) is cool ;)
I get this on OSX: "âYouCanShootâ cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.". I changed the security settings, but still, I get this :(
@adjo maybe a linux build? :)
The whole game and sound reflect a kind of melancholic mood which reminds me to one of my collegaues. If he were win the lottery he would only say "nice" :D Interesting idea.
Hey @philstrahl! Can you build it to either linux or web or osx?
Hey. Did you create the music too? Man... you're really a magician :)
I could not open on osx (catalina) it says "The applicatio LD46 cannot be opened".
Unfortunately no. I used godot a month before and I had similar problems with my own game and I could not solve it :( I thought it was because my mac needs a reinstall after years, but the current osx is as fresh and clean as a baby's bottom.
Maybe it's something wrong in firefox, but at level 1 nothing is happening even if I reach the green flag at the right side :(
@likirus I have no squirell, where can I find it? See the image Screenshot 2020-05-09 at 19.43.47.png
@likirus O shit yes. In chrome there he is... so in Firefox it does not work, let me play it today before the voting end
Good one for nerds like me :)
Great one. Would be good to add some real scenarios, like HDD died, CEO forgot to pay the payments, OS upgrade failure, etc.. :)
What a nice implementation! I got lost for the first time as I tried to move downwards, but then I just read your story. It's a nice game, well clean and peaceful what I love :)
Super. I really miss the sound. Even though it's not a unique idea here, but the implementation is really well done! Well job sir.
I completely agree with @derek-volker here :)
The moment, when you know you have to let it got, but you won't :D Screenshot 2020-04-20 at 17.17.36.png
I would see the end game out of it!!
at least you don't show in the end how the player dies :P Nice one, but I miss the end goal possibly.
@prackli nope, it wasn't done intentionally, but when I first saw it during a test session I though, fuck it, it's even more funny :D If I had time, I would even create an another death event like "Died because stuck under the bed" or something. Or... "eaten by the monster living under the bed. Because all beds have a monster under it."
@team-prosit true, but my solution was that the goal is to keep them alive as long as possible, a.k.a. collecting points. If you have at least one child in your hand, points increasing is paused.
Sadly, they will die anyways, there is no win scenario. I have to state this :D
@tobiasw thank you for your kind words :) I spent 2 hours hitting the wall with my head mubling "that could not be the end on my first LD". There is a lot to improve for sure, and I started with a grate amount of idea, but of course it was way too much, so when I build the first version I was way more happy than I thought in the beginning I would be :)
@honey-pony thanks for your feedback. I was (as everyone else) in rush as hell, as after 10 hours I decided not to write a text adventure in twine, but create this game :D So yes, everything you wrote is true and legal, I had huge ideas but of course the time cut it down to this :)
I get this on osx catalina: ```bash mudlee@MacBook-Pro Downloads % java -jar ld46.jar java.lang.NullPointerException at me.aljosact.ld46.LD46.update(LD46.java:137) at me.aljosact.ld46.LD46.run(LD46.java:98) at java.base/java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:834) Exception in thread "main" Continue >> java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/audio/AudioStream at me.aljosact.ld46.sfx.SoundManager.
It's a great one. Starts easy, but then all level increases just as much as needed. Neat. Love the audio, the simple graphics and the mechanics as well, great job!
I must 100% agree with @thedashdude, I experienced the exact same thing. Despite those, the graphics, the sound and the idea is awesome!
I can't figure out what's the end goal of it? Also this ship must be immediately destroyed when reaches the next planet (if it can), because it's as fragile as the babies in my game.
what a great concept. I wish you could add more "levels". But I know, that would hurt the dayjob ;)
What a great game! I rate it as good but have to mention two things. You put so much text to read in the beginning with basic font and buttons, I almost closed it. But fortunately I kept it open and gave it a try. It's a great one! Goes into my best games of LD46 list.
Love the music and the art. It's hard :)
Nice, I like its simplicity :) Did you use libgdx?
I could not even feed one apple to this thing. I tried everything, but I think it's very tough at beginning. I love the art though.
Man, this game hurts my mouse :D Nice one, congrats! Am I right the the muscle guy needs more stuff to be alive, right?
I like the design and after I read the intro text, I got interested quickly. The most important thing is that you published the game and it's playable! Hence, you can receive feedbacks, like the followings: - I managed to trick the game that if I jumped right on any enemy NPC I just could "grab" and jump away with them far away without taking any damage. - Even without that trick I just realized that there is no AI at all. I expected that if I go near to them, they start aproaching me, but no :( - The platforms were put in a way that I felt multiple times that when I jumped off from one, I cannot go back, just only if I turn back and go through it again. - In the end it was not that obvious what should I do, or how can I do it better.
Not saying that my first game was better in anyways (neither the current one), I'm happy you published it, because that's the most difficult part!
After the first two level I said "looks really good, but too easy". At 3rd level: "O man, it's like a summer after a winter without spring!"
It has a learning curve, but I liked it. If the first few steps are a bit faster then most of the testers would not get lost as I did. But if I take my time then it grows out something, ... something. It's good to see different games after playing mostly platformers :)
Great game!
I like this idea very much. My only complaint here is that the simulation goes so fast I can't really understand which move is done for what reason. The minimalistic hand drawn(?) graphics was the best! With some minimalistic sound it would hit a good rate I guess.
If you manage to find a point where all have the same heat, then you're good. But man... finding that point is so fuckn hard :D the idea however is one of the best I've seen in this jam. But yes, it's a bit too hard.
In the web version I cannot aim as I want to :(
@westmave tried again, now it works. I don't know what was the problem :)
It's challenging, but I might get it wrong: is it only a click here and there to keep everything in green?
@joannetteg no offense from my side at all, I just didn't get the point. Let me clear it out a bit. So there are 6 perspectives I have to take care. That's fine. All of them are decreasing and to prevent that I have to click on them. Fine. Up until this point it's a race game which is fun (I rated it as fun), but it does not let me click instantly after each click. And it's impossible to keep all filled if I click and nothing happens. I observed that at least I have to wait 3-4s between clicks, but I see nothing that shows me that. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. If so, sorry about that.
Well. It's easy to stack dead children at least :D
When you rush to the sun with your material to make it alive and then you soon realize you just can't stop even if you press the arrow as hard as you can is epic...
The idea is super cool but man it's just so fuckin' hard :D Even by default it's not easy the mouse that moves the screen as weel did not help at all :)) I have to mention the sound which is in total harmony with the theme and the design. Neat one!
As others mentioned, the movement looks like a basic rigidbody addforce or something which causes this strange behavior. Also, I would have imagined a bit more polished UI, but of course, the time was a bit tight. The biggest problem I had was that the game is so hard! Without ramping or preparing me up it just hits me without explanation saying "better look next time looser"
What it makes really hard is that you have to use the down arrow for dropping instead of space, enter or other things. I really miss some audio :)
I like the color switch idea, even though it was not obvious for the first time :)
I cannot open it ot MacOS Catalina :(
@electric-blue This is the 3rd godot game I cannot run on osx catalina. What's your trick as it runs for you?
Is there anyone in the universe who can complete at least one level? :D It's way too hard, but the idea is neat.
haha, I need two more arms! Great idea and the sounds just match so perfectly. Congrats especially as it was your first one!
Oh man, this is hard :D Gave it some time but still, level 5 :-O The sound really reminds me something from the C64 era am I correct? It's very thematic, good job!
This is hard! I wander around the map and try to survive, but I day after ~20 rounds. I'm not smart enough to getting used to the game's logic. The sound is thematic and the design is simple enough to see everything.
A very good on! Air jumps sometimes are very at the edge, so it's really hard to achieve. The onboarding is top and the music/effects are super cool too. A very good job!
Oh man, the confusion powerup is just epic! A well polished, really great entry. And again, the best one was the confusion powerup. I mean, "best" one... :)
Hey, good entry! The score really depends on the map, which as I observed randomly generated. The sounds, the graphics and all fits really well together. My best score was 102 after few plays. I can imagine playing this on a mobile device :)
What a relaxing game :) I'm not sure I got the goal but spent some time to just chill :D
It's absulutely fantastic! The music as always perfect, the best is the placment sound. And when the yellow phase occurs, that's stresses out everything from me! I'm gonna go for some more round today. And btw, it's as polished as I **expected** :D Poor you, we got used to expect games 100% polished from you :)
A neat idea and awesome design! I could not manage to finish it, after 10mins I just go tired of swinging the heavy sword that everything but not what I want :D This game is a bit more frustrating then enjoyable for me, but I appriciate the quality you made :)
This one a really good one. The visuals are awesome and the music just completely matches. I wish you could produce more levels, I was just getting the mood in the end when it finished :(
A good job man!
Absolutely fantastic game. I really like the sounds and the grapihics. Even when in the end the whole shit collapsed! I'm not sure I got how to play it properly to win, but when I got it, I'll get back to you.
A funny one. First I didn't see that I must by upgrades, because later on I cannot. With upgrades I managed to see some new materials, but I could not figure out if it's a good idea to first go right and fall off more deep to get those materials first or just dig and dig. Good job!
This is hard. The following bullets are crazy! A nice one!:)
That was an interesting one. I couldn't manage to survive till the end but I'm very bad at games like this. Nice entry!
The art is super. It really needs some sound. Even though, in space you have no sound, but at least some sound effect would be really nice, because without it it's a bit empty. I managed to keep the ship alive long enough (I guess), but couldn't find the goal of the game. Maybe I have to keep it alive further?
@secretjuice there is a launcher.exe on windows and a start.sh on linux :) Or maybe you didn't manage to see the Start button? Can you make a screenshot pls?
@wunarg can I have a screenshot pls? :)
@secretjuice thanks, unfortunately it's a bit cryptic this way. But that's already a feedback that if I continue with LibGDX, I have to find a solution to avoid such things and if I cannot, what should I ask from the user who faced with the issue :) Am I right that you couldn't even start? Anyways, I appriciate your help and feel a bit sad you cannot try it. But now, I'm gonna try yours!
@pixelportalz thank you so much! @awesomezebra it wasn't and even a friend of mine reported it, just totally forgot to fix it :)
Yeah, thank you guys, I try to investigate it and will see if I can fix it.
@secretjuice @hungryroy @sugarsugarsugar @wunarg @slowfrog-again guys, a friend of mine had the same problem, but looks like I managed to produce a new build, that works on his PC now. Can you try it? I updated the link to the new one (http://drive.mudlee.hu/games/ld48/windows_v2.zip).
@crispybun thanks for your feedback! I planned a lot more, but as always, I ran out of time :) For eg: people seeing you hyptnozing other people on the street might say "what da fk you're doing, I'm calling a police", and they call the police. Or: people get hit by other cars on the road because they see what you do. Again -> others call police :)
@secretjuice is that possible you use a monitor that has higher frequency rate like 144hz? I messed up the controls a bit :)
@heremeus thanks for your kind words! The movement is because something is wrong on 144Hz monitors. Next time, I'm gonna prepare for such stuff better :)
@silkworm-sweatshop oh, I forgot to put a police "wandering point" everywhere? :) thanks for your feedback!
@loonydrope the scientist is mad by default and that was the last drop in the bottle :D His voice is mine with some FX going over it and the police's sound is from my daughter :) I realized that you can walk away, but I had no time to fix, so I hoped no one will find it, but obviously everyone recognized... :D
@assertfailure @maple thanks for your feedbacks too guys! I really appriciate it :)
@heremeus Muhaha. Do you know the classic opengl joke?
"Me debugging opengl" opengl.png
@untitled-studios @kovi @guladam @kraemahz @lesinvisible @one-seed-fruit @fatebreak @hpa97 @axeltherabbit thanks for your feedback guys! I appriciate any amount of time you put in the game testing it :) GLHF!
And this is why people love minecraft! You just hit blocks and done! :D I mean the idea is neat and unique compared to a loads of participants. A good job, congrats!
Despite the game as a game lacks lots of things, I don't even bother you listing all, but the mood, the message you gave here outperforms all. I could not play it with more than 5 mins, because that's it, it does only that much. BUT and a big but, it gave me something. An experience, a nice 5 mins. I appriciate this, really, really good job!
Nice! I just managed to go down to 10. It's really hard. The ghosts(?) are unbeatable, right? Those took a lot of life away from me. And as the map is randomly(?) generated, that didn't help me that much :)
Great puzzle! I would really imagine such game on a mobile which I can play while waiting for the tram. On desktop though... it's too thinky for me :) Great entry!
I'm not sure I got it. I have to just avoid falling bombs and let them do the work? If so, than it wasn't that fun for me, because I "just" have to escape the bombs and done. More of a bit of a boring feeling, sorry :( The design indeed looks good, but this is an unreal project, where the default light setup looks like this. I advice you not to use game engine default features, because even though they look cool and shiny, but for people like me who has experience both in Unity and Unreal it just feal "yeah, the default settings again".
Despite these, it's far away from bad, just some feedbacks from my side. Maybe if I can interact more to push the game's pace, then I would enjoyed it more a bit.
Nice atmosphere and intro! I could not manage to save everyone as on my macbook somewhy the aiming and shooting didn't work. The graphics is not the best, but you successfully created a good mood! Well done!
Uh man, I really tried to understand what's happening, but I felt like clicking here and there randomly. I'm not a fan of card games, maybe that's the reason, but somewhy I felt I just don't know what's happening and why. The iconography looks really nice, but has no meaning at all to me. I tried understand it, but possibly I'm wrong in that :)
19726 points. Unfortunately Charlie didn't manage to find his spell book. When the screen went dart, that was a very good move, because I was just started becoming bored, than it was more intense. But around 15k I got bored again and the music didn't help me. Is there a winning scenario? A book around 30k? :) Maybe I try again later. I can imagine other "game changer" mechanics like after 10k, the pace increases and stuff like that.
Good work overall!
This is hard. The graphics/music is super, I see you know what you're doin' :) One of the guys above mentioned the texture reminds him to Rick and Morty. Same here! Maybe not that crazy though :)
No matter what I try on linux or in a browser, I see this. I'll try it on windows later. game.png
Yeah now it worked :) I hate wolves, now even more. I managed to survive at the first try :)
A very nice concept! I really liked Valve's portal back in time, this one reminds me for that :) It's a bit hard though.
Two things from my side: - all the characters are called the same, I easily mixed them up. - because they have no animation, I couldn't understand who does what at the moment.
Despite these, the fact you managed to put this together in 2-3 days, it's really impressive!
I can just say the same that already mentioned above. Cannot feel the real value it can has as I cannot play with a second fellow. It looks good, and promising, but cannot rate it in this form. Good job anyways!
I might not get it, but I blew my submarine twice :) The music and the minimal graphics are super! Congrats :)
Nice! The simple color choice is a big plus!
Hey! This is a very common mechanic that you have to balance what's the longest way you can go to be achieve the most but still be able to return. I found a bug, that the character cannot go right, or at least the sprite does not turn that way. I also thought the ghosts(?) will catch me, so I first ran away, but as nothing happened, I just tried to smash them as a plan B, but still nothing happened. And then I died, because I focused too much on them :)
The game would be a very good one, but the way I have to control the girl makes it so frustrating, because looks like the controls don't apply to the current view, but remains a basic, so no matter where the camera look at, the controls remaint the same. Meaning, every time the camera changes, the right arrow does a different thing.
A good entry, but would be really good if you can "fix" this behavior :)
Uqniue idea! A big plus for not using an engine ;) I'm not really sure why should I avoid viruses if I'm a cleaner, but hey, it works :)
It was very similar feeling when I listen to my 4 years old daughter playing on her toy-piano :D I'm not sure I got the point of this game, but was an interesting one :)
Looks like @lakshyaisagod just copy-pastes his message to everywhere...
Anyways, I had the same problem what purpledartfrog had. Couldn't understand how to build and why. I tried several things, but I'm not sure if I got it right what to do exactly. Plus, on my retina macbook it's so small, I could barely see what's happening.
Muhaha, obviously I killed the innocent one in the first road stage :D Nice dialogs and I really appriciate you took a different approach to the theme, good job!
This is it my LibGDX fellows! The simplest graphics I've seen in this jam, but still with the sound effects it hits reaaaaaly hard and makes it to my fav so far! I thought I have sense to create horror mood, but you guys have higher skill than I thought I have. A very, very good job. I defeated one boss and lived till the 5th circle. How many circles are left?
And btw, I read in the comments, you can have powerups? I mean how and where?
Laught. A Bit. :D The music is indeed great ;)
I have the same thoughts as some other reviewers. The whole game fits well together, but sometimes I got frustrated as I stuck somewhere, because of a bad move. Well done!
@secretjuice please, please, please do a mac export too! My desktop PC (linux, windows) does not have a mic, I only have one on my macbook. I tried the game without it on windows and it looks a really fun which I really'd like to real try out :D please do the export, unity supports it! ;)
@secretjuice many thanks! ping me if you managed to find the solution or at least I can watch a video about it to see where it evolves in the end :)
@secretjuice Something is still not OK. The zip contains windows related files and stuff like that. Ideally it must be only one .app file which I can run, but looks like it does not run somewhy :(
@secretjuice unfortunately I get the same error. Maybe because I use a new M1 mac.
Anyways, I cloned out your project and tried to build it for myself. The problem is (ant the reason why I HATE Unity) that even though I used the exact same version of Unity for opening the project, the scenes are just empty. It's so frustrating that I have to code, but cannot make it work.
And you know what, before I go sleep, I'm gonna install this version of Unity on my windows too and try to build it there for my mac. Let's see if it works.
Update: OK, I gave up. I'm really sorry but somewhy it still doesn't work :( For Mac users: yes, I tried to open it with Rosetta, but still nothing good.
At least I gave you feedback that either Unity or OSX is a shit. Or both :)
A very depressing one. Two things. First: the collision sometimes doesn't work, took me some minutes to realize it :) Second: I could't manage to collect all boxes in the end on the second level or at least something went wrong, because I couldn't go to the next level. The mood itself is really good!
As a first entry, this is a good one! I tell you why: you completed it, it runs, and even though it doesn't contain that much, but that works! Nice job, you're on a good way! :)
The design and the audio are awesome. But somewhy the controls are weird. I tried to control and do what the task is, but it moves very strangely the suit. Hence, I died often :(
I just came here to ask: why did you even try to cheat @lakshyaisagod? This is a contest without even a price, cmon.
Other thing is that I wanted to try out despite this, but you even messed up your game's page. You claim your game supports OSX, but downloading the zip I realized it's for win and linux only.
I gave up here.
Haha, this little dude has some problem. Is it possible that there is no sound? Somewhy I could not hear anything.
Amazing audio and graphics! I went through multiple times to read everything :) BUT it's way too hard! Could not manage to go down to the big snake with uber vomit, and possibly that's the reason I couldn't beat it.
This felt like an IQ test! If you put some stressing ambient in the background that would absolutely make this even more stressful :D
I can confirm that sometimes the arrow just slightly moves the arrow, but otherwise it works nicely. Went down till ~-1k.
Muhaha. I almost got too tired and quit, but I thought, let's give it one more chance and do one more level, and you trapped me. Now I can't even escape. I would have quit! :P Nice graphics and neat idea, but I'm sure I won't play it again! :P
I was thinking about something similar in a sense of theme, but wasn't brave enough :D It's incredibly hard! Good job :)
I don't know why I can't send you ratings. This game is awesome. And it ends like a professional game. Really liked it! Even though the fire and the interact keys are too close on the keyboard, I got used to it after 2-3 rounds. The tutorial was as short as possible, but was still useful. A great job man!
Nice one! Got 72 points in the end. Liked the idea to click on the music's beat, what it was incredibly hard. An awesome entry! Finnaly :D Thanks for letting me play it.
I collected 200$ stuff. I love multiplayers, but when noone is online... then it's boring :( Would be really good to have someone online and then I can shoot on someone. I did not find an end of the maze. Does it have one? What if multiple players are joined and they are spreaded and they start to move to the complete opposite direction? They will never reach eachother?
GG btw.
Finally! The first game I though, all right, now I can finally play something real good and then it ends after 2 mins :D shit. So far the best for me. Great entry, not to mention your first game in an engine!
A very unique idea. I was too tried to spend enough time on it, but I'm sure with a friend this would hit. I really can imagine this game having its own tournament like chess and go and stuff like that. So dead simple, yet still complex.
Besides the cats are cute, I really don't know what the purpose of this game. I fed them for minutes then I just got bored and got game over. I mean you may have 3 cats and than it's done. You have cats. But 20?! :D
Record: 9 waves. I do miss sounds though. Liked the extra regural powerups! Great entry, good job!
Hey! Still no linux or osx build? Would be soooo good :) I dont have win :/
After several try, managed to reach level7. The movement is a bit weird, but it's OK. I like the particles. Would have been good to hear some sound effects too.
Thansk for sharing with us!
I really miss the sound effects! It's a low hanging fruit, cmon! I was tor and I needed huge thunderstorm effecsts :D crazy and the dying effect is just sick. Great job man!
Neat one! There were not that much choice though :D I really liked your style and I woudl have been playing it for more long, but the story's tree was not that big unfortunately. A very great one though!
Looks like playing it in the embedded way at ld page shows no talk :D I had no chance to win actually. And yes, the world, especially today, need just nothing but talk first. I stand with your story even more now. Thanks!
It's a trap. That was my thought. It was like obvious what will happen but I thought, nah, it should not happen. In the end it did happen. Fuck.
After 3 try I managed to complete. I really liked the, it would have been good to have more puzzles to solve. The only thing I didn't like is that the time you gave me to complete one level was way too less. At least for me. I liked the random things though in new rounds. One bug: When I failed and the game ended, I got a huge exception in the browser.
Good job!
Nice one! I didn't even know what the hell I was doing... I was like click everything. Soon I realized what the heck are all of those cursors. YES, I did not read the game's intro text. So silly.
This is the 2nd game where I see the 10 second is not that much and causes me to rush, which causes my heartbeat up :D
Good job!
How much I liked the heroes series back in the day! Liked the clock as the element of the theme very much! I missed only, really only one thing: to see how much damage can be done by whom.
I feel lucky to be the first reviewer. This was awesome! All the music, the graphics and everything was well aligned. I played through all variants, but could not manage to finish any of them, because I have only a touchpad now, so the insects coming towards to the button stopped me clicking :) I loved the best the sarcastic lady ;) Where did you get those tracks? Text to speech?
Interesting concept. I hate AI in general though for such usage, but it was interesting to interact with these ... creatures I would say. Great entry and a very interesting use of AI!
I don't know what should I see. I tried in firefox and chrome but I hear no sound and no matter what I click, type, just some characters walking from left to right.
Screenshot from 2022-10-05 14-56-43.png
Yeah I thought that's a bug, but it's the same on chrome and firefox. One thing that might differs from you is that I use Linux (ubuntu). But it should work in chrome at least...
I wonder how on Earth you can came up with this idea. 10 secons was hard to evaluate all the answers, sometimes I just randomly clicked on one. Sometimes I clicked on more. I'm not sure if it was legal or not, but I could do it :) A very unique entry, congratulations!
It's a good runner game, I appriciate the variety of the die sound, when you die, and the cars(?) don't stop. Just hit you again and again :D
You really love birds that's obvious. I'm good at typing, but not typing and reading. So even though I could manage to write down many names, I had zero time to read their interesting infos. Once I tried, game over :/
It's far away from easy! I just complained at an another game which used thunderstrike but didn't manage to add sound effects and how I miss it. Here though it's shocking. This game is really not forgiving. Just one bad move and you're out. I tried so hard, but only managed to collect 3 and almost got 4. It's either a perfect move-strike or you're out. Did I already say... YOU'RE OUT! :D
The idea is a good one, though the fonts. Those fonts man, was really hard to read them. And one more thing that made me mad until I realized what could be the problem: maybe it was about the collision boxes, but sometimes interact end enter mixed together and even though in one moment I wanted to enter, it did interact or vica-versa. Hence, I failed many times. Then I realized that's an issue, so I tried to avoid it, then I could end it very easily. BOOO!
Looked really good at start, but then it made me frustrated that I can just fire in a direction where I'm moving towards. I think you ran out of time, it would have been more catchy if I can have more powerups or something. Spent a couple of great minutes though :) Congratulations!
Oh man what a great idea! I really really missed the sound and some great music. Like in the future you play some tech house, and in the old days you play some classic. But even without these, it's a fantastic idea and a great implementation. Was a pleasure to find the battery :)
Neat. Art and sounds and the idea itself is super. I just had two things which made me crazy: sometimes I died in a red effect, and starting with the red effect at the beginning... you cannot do anything. Ok, you wait 10 sec, and you get again a red effect. I got 3 red effects in a raw, which meant 30 sec wait as I cannot jump high enough. I also would appriciate some early checkpoints :) Besides these, great idea and game!
This was insane! When my mouse inverted in every direction that was a real WTF :D The only thing I did not like is the laser's sound effect. The rest was just perfect. Congratulations!
BTW shouldn't you opt out from graphics?
I ran 156m then suddenly the game ended and I don't know why :) I had left life and the water was far away. I'm not sure if it's intentional. Took few minutes till I realized the cat can move if I keep pushing the buttons, but at least after that I could advance very fast. Liked the sound, like the monster "fight". I also liked the maze kind of aspect, thinking I'm good and then hitting a closed path...
Congratulations for finishing your game!
Interesting idea. The issue is that my daughter always wins against me in such a memory games, so the joy was not there for me :) Some feedbacK - I managed to rotate the camera in a way that I was under the table and I had no idea how to go back - When I lost a life, I couldn't see how much I have left. - I did miss sounds. - I didn't know what's the end goal?
Besides these, congratulations for finishing a game! That's the hardest thing to accomplish.
hm. I can't understand how can I beat this. I can just barely go through the red door and then time is over? Do I miss something?
It's clear it wasn't your first game. A well polished and completed one. The music, the voice acting and all goes together really well. Not to mention small effects like the clock's pointer's ticking or the parallax effect on mouse, etc. I enjoyed pretty much, even though I'm very bad at games like this :D Good job!
I start hating this theme. Lot of games without this 10 seconds restrictions would be sooooo good. I really like how seaons change, the musc, the graphics, all works really well together. But clicking like insane makes me... insane! I hate the team that's what I can say. But I liked the game itself pretty much!
Nice one! Would have been good to have at least one shot shield or something, because if you mess up, you're out very quickly :D like the laser (?) when the time was over.
I could not manage to complete the third level. Even my daugther tried to push me but after like 30 try I gave up. I felt that the sword's collision detection is not what I expect. It hits far away and when the dino is too close, I just die. And if it's not enough punishment, you continously die by just standing at the very beginning. A kind of motivation to play at least... :)
The default fov reminded me the old days of quake lan deathmatches, when the more you see the more you kill aproach was the best :) without having sound it's a bit empty and without having an ultimate goal rather than just surviving I had to gave up.
You know if you have to do a very hard, intense anything without having a goal and without the ability to be able to stop, sooner or later you'll get bored and kill yourself :)
