I could not manage to complete the third level. Even my daugther tried to push me but after like 30 try I gave up. I felt that the sword's collision detection is not what I expect. It hits far away and when the dino is too close, I just die. And if it's not enough punishment, you continously die by just standing at the very beginning. A kind of motivation to play at least... :)
Pro: - Really nice art - Quick, fast and fun
Cons : - Restarting to the first level is a bit too punishing, especially with this level of difficulty - The ennemy hitbox is very punishing and the sword hitbox doesn't match the sword at all, which made it confusing - It took me some time to understand the "shop" (I thought I had to interact with it at first)
Great graphic, but attack work not every time, and hard to go long distance, and hows the shop work?)

Very cool conecept, really fits the theme. I really like the feel of this game. Sounds and graphics are really coherent and fun. I also found it a bit on the hard side, which could be good, but would be nice to restart the actual level instead of going back to lvl0 :-D Also, I think the swords hitbox/damage hitbox comes too late, according to the animation I expect it to already kill the enemies when it still does not. Also would be nice to hit faster :D But that could be just my personal preference! I do think this could be further developed nicely! Anways, very nice game for this jam, good work!

The theme is more "Stuck in a loop" than "Every 10 seconds". Nice game but needs better collision
Loved the art and animation! Audio/SFX could have been better - more complex and just more- but they were ok. I got stuck on lvl 3 and gave u after about 10 goes. I kept playing for ten because I wanted to get good enough to beat it! hahah. I actually really like the game and I think if it wasn't so difficult, I'd really have loved it
The 2dart is very nice. I loved the rogue like style that force us to improve run after run. The only thing I had difficulties is the slash attack. The mouse seam unresponsive sometimes and the hitbox could have been cheated a bit to cover a greater area
This game ended too soon! The art is beautiful, I wonder if too much time was spent on it than the rest of the game lol! Good effort for a first game

Nice art, good sound! The core of the game is interesting, but a bit frustrating to always get kicked back to the start when you die, esp. since it felt like sometimes the attacks didn't properly register (or I collided with enemies much sooner than it looked like?). Solid entry, but I do think it would benefit from being a bit more forgiving.
Attack control is not responsive, but you have nice graphic and animations there. Nice job for your first game :)
Great art and visuals, game is easy to pickup without any extra tutorials. Could be a bit punishing. But, in case you want to keep instant death I would recommend to polish combat mechanics a bit: - add some death sfx/vfx to enemies - speed up initial attack animation (fadeout animation/cooldown could be the same, but players would want an instant response to any input) YOKO TARO and Takahisa Taura wouldn't lie :smile: gdc1.jpg https://youtu.be/jKbH9i5axxU
- tweak the enemy's trigger boxes. You might have several of them. Smaller to killing a player, and larger for income attacks from a player. It is also not quite clear why we need these crystals, but I guess you have some plans for them later.
Overall, the game looks awesome so far. A quick intro makes it easier to restart and try again with extra motivation. Good luck with the jam! PS. Only on my 10th playthrough, I noticed a different attack animation when you click while running :) PS2. I've beaten it b2.jpg
Great game :) very amazing graphics, beautiful pixelate. Runs visually smooth as a baby on Safari browser. Good idea implementing the counter. I like the dinosaurs, they're cute :D I didn't get any audio on the first playthrough on safari, might try another browser and see if that is better :)
Nice idea, the hitbox is a bit offseted, as enemies can hit you from far away, also your hit registers too late.
Liked the graphics, movement is pretty nice and sound is good!
