Sometimes it is difficult to judge whether the asteroid is bigger or smaller than yours.
I think, that player model could change, when reach some mass threshold.

It is good, for a 2h game, but I think, it will be nice, to have something to collect, or moving spikes. I have end up spawning spacebar staying in one place :P

Saddly, if you upgrade too much, values will overflow :( For example I upgraded max health too much, and I ended up with negative health and gameover. Other time, I had negative cash :P Besides that, I think that upgrades are too powerfool. Changing cost with upgrade levels may be good. Increasing amounth of money from kill is now definitly overpowered.
But overall I enjoyed this game. Nice work :)

Unfortunately, a few things are not clear to me.
I did not know what to do when Amy asked me to close the bar.
I do not know what the bell function is.
Also I tryed moving kid out of the bar by clicking door, but it wasn't working. Likely i did something wrongly or this interaction is there for other situation, but it feel like it doesn't working.

About navigation and no obstacles. Maybe only lava damage are small? Are shields pointless? I thought lava would limit player's movement. Mayby additional mountains would by good.

Nice game! I think mouse is a little bit too sensitive. Also on HTML5 version it is sometimes doing wierd stuff. It would be nice to have some feedback, when hitting enemy, and also when enemy hits you or your base. I realy like gun and hands animations. Good job :)

In addition, despite the fact that stapler is a weapon, it may be good to add repulsion to the killed enemies so that the weapon appears to be more powerful. I think that would be fun.

Great game :D After some attempts I managed to turn on all generators and survived to 42 wave. At that moment it was too easy. But before I turned on the generators and collected all the powerups, the difficulty curve grew very well

Game is not giving enough feedback for player. I did not know if my clicks are causing any effects. Only sometimes values was changing and i did not know why, and was not sure what it means. Problem with this game is its interface. With GUI improvement, this game could be a lot better, because game idea was ok :)

Gameplay was too easy. When time runs out (I think too early), avoiding death was not a problem. Despite of that art style is very good :)

Fun game with good concept, matching theme. Only thing that bothers me is that when washing mashine was spinning, aiming did not work as I expected, but maybe it's supossed to be like that. Also I don't know what blue collectables are.
Excelent game design and execution for compo :) Your game feals compleat, while my projects have always something missing, because I design it too big :P
With simple design you had time to polish it. I really like graphics. Console interface, film grain and noise on top are really adding to feeling like you are remotely operating this rover.

Nice relaxing game. Calm music is greatly contributing to mood. With random building rotation you nicely avoided visual reprtition :slight_smile: I think tkat some builting construction and destruction sound can be added here to add more feedback to player.
Only thing that bothers me is that I needed to click RMB to deselect building before i could chose other, but is a minor issue.
I also experienced a little bit, and I escaped the loop. Outside the circle it is much easier to defend, because than birds are attacking from only one side, but i guess it's cheating :stuck_out_tongue:
Nice game with clever design. I think that smoothing of loop line could improve graphics. I dont feel like sharp corners are fitting there. Music and sound design of game is good, but sounds of buttons in main menu are not matching calm mood of game in my opinion. I see that there is some feedback when player is making loop over star, which starts to spin but I think that it can additionally go brighter. At first I didn't see that rotation. Also subtle sound would be nice, when line goes over star. Good job. I enjoyed it :)
Some later levels are easier than previous, but still it was fun :) Only complain I have is that sometimes rings are spawned just in front of ship, but others mentioned it before. It will be nice to have soeme sound effect and music. I think sounds generated in Bfxr will fit to your game. I think such sounds may add a lot of "juiciness" to game with relatively small time spendings. For your first jam game, realy nice job! :)
Nice concept. There is many space games in this LD :) Music and sound effects are realy fitting to game. I think that there should be time penalty when ship is crashed. Also there can be additional separate score stytem for jump count.
Nice game. I think that speed control could improve it, because sometimes i was just sitting and waiting for tunnel to be digged.
It feels pretty empty, but you have made solid foundations for interesting experience.
It's easy to get lost in the desert. Placing stone piles is nice mechanic to prevent that.
It was hard to start, but once I figured it out the rest was easy. Some funny noises could improve this game.

Thanks for comments. We fixed music looping, and leaderboard.
I suspect that lag spike on browser version is probably caused by automatic increases of heap size. After memory is allocated it's stabilising, and next runs are smooth.
@dvd - Thanks. It might help. There is a lot of objects. Did you have lags on WEB or Windows version? On Web version main source of lags is probable heap allocation, since after some time lags disappears, and new runs are much smoother.
Relaxing. That music was also used in SoundSense plugin to Dwarf Fortress. It's automatically sets mining mood for me :D
Great atmosphere, music and graphic! :D I feel like jumping is not responsive enough. Some coyote time could fix that. Also some simple sound effects could improve this project.
Cool game. Only thing it's missing for me, is some sound or visual feedback, when my ship was hit.
Nice balancing mechanics. Keeps game interesting, and prevent's one player to have big advantage over other.
Doors are slightly moved after passing , so i didn't need to remember sequence to reach high score.
I think that if you add sounds the game would feel much better.
Overall you had good idea for this game. Enemy cubes are distracting player when he/she try to memorize sequence.

Nice game. Car controls, its model and sounds are fine. Spanners collecting could have some sound effect, to give player additional feedback
Great models and animations for compo game! I think that killing human could be more challenging if player must counter his running direction, or else victim goes free. Also running victim screams could make it funyer and more satisfying. I think that corruption orbs are to slow, and it's a little bit frustrating when it stuck behind fence.

@cammymoop - thansk for your comment. Looks like we have bug in our code. Mouse Y rotation is not influanced by deltaTime, so rotation speed depends of FPS :P We will fix this.

There is a bug, where you can pick up again sacreficed sheep before it disappear, and it is still counted, so game can be compleated just one sheep.
Attack control is not responsive, but you have nice graphic and animations there. Nice job for your first game :)

@gametrodon - Yes. I added to many packages. Also lines with change is hard to see when you are far away. It could be more fine-tooned if I spend more time with it or add color (wchich is good idea), but I decided it's good enough for jam game and moved on to other tasks to finish the game :slight_smile:
@apple-dash I was targeting sandbox-like game, but you are right. Score attack could be much better. I think that for sandbox to work, there need be more things to do.
Awesome! I think that preserving momentum after jump from rail would be more dynamic and fun. Aleso there are some problems after restarting with disapearing delivery points. It would be also beter id rails were visable from greater distance (but mayby it's a problem with WebGL version). The difficulty curve could be slightly less steep. 5 deliverys are my record, and I fellt like it's almost impossible to do more. Nice Grapic and sound. Map layout is nice. Very good job!

Car controlls was floaty, but it was doing its job. Maybe homes from the same states, should be close to each other, so it will be easier to find them.
Car sound was funny.
Fun Game with nice graphic's. Ading post processing (bloom) would show that this ball is light, as your game descryption suggests. Unfortunately, it's sometimes very hard to aim. Moving cars in the background bring the scene to life.

Very fun. Impresive open world for jam. Some bugs are funny, some are reustrating (truck suddenly ejected, cargo droping to the floor in moment of spawning)
Mission system is fun, and upgrades are motivating to play longer.

The level design is good, but the main mechanics seems random. I think it would be better if there are some clues for door order (maby numbers above door?). Restarting was frustrating after some time.

I think that additional sound would improve this when the player is low on stamina to signal that it is close to exhaustion. When aiming, it is hard to focus on the stamina bar simultaneously.
Other think to improve is maybe to increase distance that is triggering money loss. When ahciving high speed, I was loosing money before paper landed on door.

@aweskybear - Thanks. Probably station storage was full, and when you sold Fe, then Cu or Au was transfered from ship to station. Resources need to be in station cargo to buy upgrades.
Ship cargo is shown on right bottom panel, station cargo on right upper panel (the same place where you can sell resources)
Good start, but attacks are often unresponsive. Deffinitly nice concept, and if done well, it has potential. You can add parry, that temporarily stuns enemys if done in perfect timeinf, and counter attacks that deal more damage.
defeated enemies following player were funny. Are they still attacking before they despawn? :D
Fun and challenging. Nice art style and great unique mechanic. The only flaw is that not all levels are progressively harder, but it might be subjective.

With better balance it could be great. Right now I feel that it is escalating too quickly. Boolets ships, and stars are too quick. I feel like ship controlls are too sensitive.

Good voice acting, but voice lines from big bad evil guy could be louder. I often did not understand what he said among other noises.
Also I think that's shooting could have some more weight in it. Maybe with greater recoil? It felt somehow like toy gun.
The third gun was buggy. Often projectiles were disappearing right in front of me.

Some improvements that I could think of:
- Make summons not colideing with player or add possibbility to recall them, because player could be stuck in between or thay can block passage. - Add something to differentiate player summons from enemies. Maybe small icon? - Add coyote time and input buffering to improve player controlls
I also encounter small issue with UI visibility on fullscreen mode with UltraWide monitor.
Overall really solid first entry!

Fun concept but i think that this kindo of flight controls is strange for insect. It behaves more like spaceship in your case :D I also made a flying insect for my game and I used more like helicopter approach.

It is endless runner and fps mix.
There is a bug. If you dont type answer, speed will increase more and more, and time is going slower, so you can easily get nice time.
I think that time should be displayed with greater precision.
Nice game. I really like graphic and and music. The biggest flaw is clunky control, and instant break after hitting obstacles. I think that maybe bouncing from them, in cartoons manner would be funny.
